The comic book comes to life with director/star Warren Beatty's colorful adaptation of Dick Tracy. Buena Vista has done a fine job with this 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer. The colors and black levels are all rich and very detailed without any major imperfections marring the image. While this is not a perfect looking picture (there is a slight amount of edge enhancement in a few key scenes), overall fans will be happy to receive this film in its original aspect ratio with a 16x9 enhancement. The soundtrack is presented in two options: Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround and DTS 5.1 Surround, both in English. Both of these soundtracks are utilized well with a vast amount of directional effects and surround sounds swirling around the viewer. All aspects of the mix are free of any excessive hiss or distortion. Also included on this disc is a Dolby Digital Stereo mix in French along with English closed captions Alas, while rumblings of a full blown special edition have been around, this first ever DVD release of Dick Tracy has been slapped on a completely bare bones disc.

This is a great movie that has drama, comedy, and action. Great movie that does justice to the old Dick Tracy. Outstanding movie, check it out!
What's great about it: Great movie that take you back
This is a out there kinda flick but by following it and watching it through it is a powerful movie. Kinda radical yes bu by the end you'll find yourself cheering for V and what he stands for. Very very good movie. Watch it!
The only problem with this movie that i can say is that it jumps around way too much. This could have been made so much better by concentrating on maybe just one villain, just to get in more depth with one specific character, way too much going on, keep it like the comics Sam Raimi and calm it down a little cause it'll still be a great movie. Worth seeing? yes...
Clark Griswold and his family get to celebrate the holidays in digital splendor in this DVD release of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. The film has been transferred to disc in its original widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1, which has been enhanced for anamorphic playback on 16 x 9 monitors. The original English language soundtrack has been remixed in Dolby Digital 5.1, while an alternate track dubbed in French appears in Dolby Digital Mono. The movie also features optional subtitles in English, French, and Spanish. No bonus materials have been included.

Chevy Chase is one funny man in this film. A great movie to chuckle to at Christmas or anytime of the year! Don't miss this one!
Yes confusing at times but it comes together perfectly in this action packed film. Great plot twists and action that with knock you off your seat. Not bad acting either! Surprising because most guys who depend on their fighting skills and stunts in these kind of movies lack in the acting department but they pull it off really well.
In being a true love finder on the internet i can vouch that it CAN happen, seeing as how i met my wife through the internet. This movie is heartwarming and touching. Everything a chick flick should be and not too bad for the guys to set through either if you're with your woman =) Check this one out with your lady!
Jon Turteltaub's comic telling of the story behind the Jamaican bobsledding team, Cool Runnings comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. There are neither subtitles nor closed captions on this release. Supplemental materials include the theatrical trailer. This Disney/Buena Vista title does a fine job of presenting the film, but offers little else. Fans of the film will enjoy the disc, but there may not be enough here to interest others.

This movie has a good story to it and can be funny at points but doesn't deliver like i wanted it to. Before seeing it i had heard how good it was but after seeing it i can say i was disappointed as a whole. If you can get by with a few good laughs then check it out. If you are not easily amused then you better pass on this one.
Devil-may-care navy pilot Pete Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is sent to Miramar Naval Air Station for advanced training. Here he vies with Tom Kasansky (Val Kilmer) for the coveted "Top Gun" award. When not so occupied, Mitchell carries on a romance with civilian consultant Charlotte Blackwood (Kelly McGillis). Shaken up by the death of a friend, Mitchell loses the Top Gun honor to Kasansky. Worried that he may have lost his nerve, Mitchell is given a chance to redeem himself during a tense international crisis involving a crippled US vessel and a flock of predatory enemy planes. The story wasn't new in 1986, but Top Gun scored with audiences on the strength of its visuals, especially the vertigo-inducing aerial sequences. The film made more money than any other film in 1986 and even spawned a 1989 takeoff, Hot Shots. An Academy Award went to the Giogio Moroder-Tom Whitlock song "Take My Breath Away."

Man this movie makes you cheer, excites you in so may ways and even warrants a tear jerking once and a while. Action and story packed, this dramatic film is one of a kind.
can I purchase a part for the wii Rockband drum set?
Unfortunately not...There isn't pieces out there for purchase. Sorry to say you gotta buy the whole drum set. Good thing is, they sell the drum set separately and not just a package with mic and guitar. Hope this helps!
