adventurous love story?

I have to say that this movie is very very fun. I have always liked the movies that take an approach to adventure. This movie truly has everything for both genders. Women will love the story and McConaughey of course. The guys will love the movie as a whole. Lots of adventure and made me wanna go treasure hunting. Watch this one with your lady, you both will love it!
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: its a love story...boo

Not bad

This could have been so much better. Don't take this statement as if the movie is bad but it is VERY slow at times and could be beefed up by say... more gore and/or action. Josh Hartnett isn't that great in it either (sorry to disappoint for those who like him). I would say watch it but this movie will NOT blow you out of the water.
What's great about it: great plot
What's not so great: acting is mediocre and slow at times

One of the only survivors of a man-made plague joins forces with a team of private warriors in a bid to save what's left of the Earth in this sequel to Resident Evil, the big-screen adaptation of the popular video game. Picking up where the first film left off, Resident Evil: Apocalypse finds Alice (Milla Jovovich) still battling the living dead who are overtaking Raccoon City. She was immune to the contagion by treatments she unwittingly received from the nefarious and all-powerful Umbrella Corporation. Alice encounters Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory), a former member of Umbrella's internal defense team who shares Alice's immunity to the zombie virus. Forming an uneasy alliance with Jill's one-time leader Carlos Oliveira (Oded Fehr) and his cohorts, this tiny band of survivors seeks out Dr. Charles Ashford (Jared Harris), Umbrella's top scientist and one of the only men with the know-how to find a solution to the zombie menace; however, they discover Ashford's cooperation comes with a price -- the scientist's daughter Angie (Sophie Vavasseur) is missing, and he'll help Alice and her partners only if Angie is returned to him safe and sound. Resident Evil: Apocalypse was the first solo directorial credit for Alexander Witt, who previously distinguished himself as a cinematographer and second-unit director.

Lots of Zombie action in this 2nd in the series. Being a huge zombie fan i was drooling during this one. Not lacking on anything. It has gore, actiion, comedic relief, and lots and lots of flesh eating beings. Great addition to the Resident Evil saga. Zombie fans watch this.

what a beginning

Finally being a HUGE fan of the first two installments, there is something on film to let me know it all began instead of a few flashback in the first 2 films. One of my favorite sequels of all time. Watch this!

Another great comic book to film adaptation here. Johnny Blaze lights up the screen and its full of a great story and action. Insane graphics of the Ghostrider himself. Can't wait for a part 2!

Guy Ritchie's rough-and-tumble action comedy gets a sharp presentation in this DVD release. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels has been given a letterboxed transfer at the aspect ratio of 1.85:1; the transfer has also been enhanced for anamorphic playback on widescreen monitors. The audio, in English, has been mastered in Dolby Digital 5.1, with optional subtitles in French and Spanish. The disc also includes a short documentary on the production of the film, theatrical trailers from the American and British released of the film, biographies of key members of the cast and crew, and a dictionary of cockney slang for those puzzled by some of the dialogue.

This is a great display for a new director (Guy Ritchie) to introduce himself to the film world. Outrageous plot with great acting, a worth while film to watch!

One great movie if you put it on mute and are able to keep awake during the extremely long movie. Not much on the acting of DiCraprio here or his fling on the doomed ship. Visually extravagant and moving, however i was bored to death at times and unimpressed by the mediocre acting. Leave it alone.
What's great about it: Great plot and story of the doomed Titanic
What's not so great: Everything else

Scrooged, Richard Donner's darkly comic retelling of A Christmas Carol, comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround, while a French soundtrack has also been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. English subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials are limited to a theatrical trailer. The sound and picture on this disc are excellent, but they are the only reason to see this Paramount release.

Great take on Charles Dickens Christmas Carol
on June 28, 2009

Always been a fan of the Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol and this is a heartfelt adult version of this. Bill Murray is great and portrays a jerk who yes, sees the error of his ways and everything ends up hunky dory. A great Christmas movie that is good for the older crowd. A little scary and bad language that should be considered too much for the kids but should be enjoyed by the 13 and up crowd. Watch this!
What's great about it: Bill Murray at his best
What's not so great: old flick with no special features, but oh well

Roland Emmerich's science fiction blockbuster Independence Day comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround, while a French soundtrack has also been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. English and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a smattering of commentary from Emmerich and producer Dean Devlin, as well as commentary from the special effects crew. This is a solid disc from 20th Century Fox that should be appreciated by fans of the film.

Well the CG in this movie is great so to speak for the lack of a better word. The acting and plot could have been better but i would say watch it. It's not as good as the old War of the Worlds or anything like that but one of a kind in itself.
What's great about it: Cinematography
What's not so great: overall i've seen better

can I purchase a part for the wii Rockband drum set?

Unfortunately not...There isn't pieces out there for purchase. Sorry to say you gotta buy the whole drum set. Good thing is, they sell the drum set separately and not just a package with mic and guitar. Hope this helps!
