This was a great action movie, my wife and I loved it! Stone Cold could be the next big WWE star making the transition to acting, much like the Rock (oh, excuse me, Dwayne Johnson). The WWE has proven to make great actors and UFC fighters. Maybe now the WWE will start getting the respect that it deserves from people who aren't fans. My wife and I have been fans since we were kids, we love it! We like seeing our favorite wrestlers in films and the UFC. Plus, I like the match up between Vinnie Jones and Stone Cold. This was a good movie, with a great plot, and geat acting. I highly recommend it! And not just to WWE fans, but to anyone who likes a good action film. Also, I highly recommend the film The Wrestler, with Mickey Rourke, and Death Race with Jason Statham (similar plot), two great movies!
What's great about it: Stone Cold and Vinnie Jones!
This product from WWE Home Video features a variety of bouts with Brock Lesnar. The disc offers a standard full-frame transfer. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. Supplemental materials include additional matches presented in their entirety. This is a fine release for fans of this particular warrior of the squared circle.

I'm a huge Brock Lesner fan! I've followed him from collegiate wrestling, to the WWE, to his current UFC career. This guy is an amazing athlete! Many people criticized him because of his WWE career, saying 'it was fake', and 'he'd never be able to compete at a high level in the UFC'. But, after defeating the legend Randy Couture for the Heavyweight Title, I think he shut everyone up! Also, I here Bobby Lashley's looking to get into the UFC. I love it, because for so many years people have said that wrestling was fake and that these guys weren't real athletes. Wrestling is staged, NOT FAKE!!! The torture these men put thier bodies through 300 days out of the year is real. Wrestling takes a certain type of athlete. These guys have 30 to 60 minute matches without water, without breaks, 2 or 3 times a week. In the UFC it's probably easier for people like Brock Lesner, and other wrestlers that make the transition, because they only fight 2 or 3 times a year, with a water break every 5 minutes. Think about it, the WWE is actually the perfect training for the UFC, it's more taxing on your body. I like Brock Lesner because he's a great athlete, that's why I recommend this DVD. I wish it was longer, but then again, he wasn't in the WWE as long as guys like HHH, The Rock, or Stone Cold. I highly recommend this DVD along with UFC 91, Brock Lesner vs. Randy Couture (great fight).

My wife and I are huge Clint Eastwood fans! And as old as he is, he's still got it. He's one of the best director/ actors of all time. This film touches on a lot of issues and a lot of nerves, and in the end it makes a huge statement. This film hits every emotion; humor, anger, happiness, and sadness. This is a terrific film that I highly recommend! Also, some other Clint Eastwood must own films are In the Line of Fire, Unforgiven, Absolute Power, Million Dollar Baby, and of course, the newly released Dirty Harry box set! (Just to name a few.)

My wife and I absolutely love this movie! This is a great horror flick by writer/ director James Wan (Death Sentence and the Saw series). Ignore the previous review by the guy that said he only watched 30 minutes of the film and didn't like it. Obviously, he doesn't know the meaning of the word 'review'! You can't write a review on a film you didn't even watch?! Besides, that guy probably doesn't even like horror movies. If you do like horror movies, I don't see how you couldn't like this film. It's got thrills, chills, great intensity, and a great plot. It's kind of a mix between Darkness Falls, Boogeyman, and Puppet Master. (Plus, I think dolls are just creepy in general.) So, I highly recommend this movie! You can't go wrong with James Wan, he obviously has a good resume. And if you haven't seen Death Sentence, you should.
What's great about it: Very creepy and very intense.

This was just a poorly made movie. The plot was weak, the acting was weak, and all around just bad. The only reason I kept watching it (and the reason I gave it an extra star), was for the few good gore scenes. Otherwise, this film was terrible. Definitely one of the worst in the Dimension Extreme collection. I don't recommend it! If you like the Dimension Extreme films, here are some I recommend, The Killing Gene, Wizard of Gore, Teeth, and Welcome to the Jungle, (to name a few.)

This is one of my wife and I's favorite movies. It doesn't get better than this. The plot is very unique and very intense. The acting was supurb, and the special effects were fantastic. This film is the perfect mix between horror and sci-fi. This is a one of a kind experience, a definite must own. I highly recommend it! Also, if you like this film, I can recommend Dark City, Sunshine and Serenity.
What's great about it: The plot, the acting, everything!

The trailer for this film was more entertaining than the actual film. My wife and I did not like this movie at all! It's like a wanna-be Omen or something. It's extemely boring and slow, and it's definitely not the 'suspense-filled thriller' they claim it to be. It doesn't 'keep you guessing' as they claim either, you can close your eyes and tell what's going to happen. This is a very weak plot about an out of control kid that just needs his a** kicked. Besides, what kind of 'thriller' has a music video from Dave Mattews?! I mean, come on! Sam Rockwell is a great actor, and the only good thing about this film. (I bet he didn't even like this movie!) Don't waste your time or money on this film! It's terrible!

Director David Veloz Star Janeane Garofalo, Owen Wilson, Cheryl Ladd, Maria Bello, Ben Stiller, Elizabeth Hurley Special Features Widescreen Audio Dolby Digital English Running Time 88 minutes.

This is a fantastic movie! My wife and I love it! Now, because of the cast (Ben Stiller, Elizabeth Hurley, Owen Wilson), many people thought this was a comedy. It's not! Don't get me wrong, there's some funny parts, but the movie is more of a drama. Based on the autobiography by Jerry Stahl, this film is about a TV writer that learns about the dark side of Hollywood success, by becoming a drug addict. This film is full of sad, funny, tragic, and disturbing scenes. Also, this is quite possibly Ben Stiller's best performance. He proves he's not just a comedian. This is a very good movie, I highly recommend it! Also, another film with Owen Wilson, and a couple of other comedians, that's not a comedy is Minus Man. (He plays a serial killer.)

This is a brutal film, my wife and I loved! At the time, a relatively unknown French writer/ director, you may also know him from his more recent film Mirrors. The name High Tension fits this film. It is very intense and very fast paced. Plus, there's a twist at the end you never see coming. This is a great thill ride of a movie. Even though it's in French, it's still definitely worth checking out. I highly recommend it! Also, another really good French film is Martyrs, and if you haven't seen Mirrors, you should!
What's great about it: Very intense and a great twist at the end.
A movie that is guaranteed to leave even the most jaded horror fans winded during its unrelentingly sadistic final act, Japanese cinema renegade Takashi Miike's Audition gets top-shelf treatment, thanks to the folks at Venture Video. Presented in 1.85:1 widescreen, the image is clear and the transfer free of any notable debris. The colors are rich and vivid, and the blacks solid, with no signs of pixilation or edge enhancement. The Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack, while lacking dynamics throughout most of the running time, completely unleashes a flood of disturbing sound effects upon viewers at the most unexpected and jarring moments -- with Miike's masterful use of audio becoming especially prominent and discomforting during the notorious climax. If the flood of disturbing imagery has viewers covering their eyes in disgust, there is virtually no escaping the horrific auditory effects without leaving the room (something that the majority of viewers will have absolutely no qualms about doing). In regard to extra features, a commentary track by Miike (which offers a spoken English interpretation of the director's Japanese comments) covers only the final 30 minutes of the film. What a 30 minutes it is though. It's obvious that, while Miike is a master of disturbingly unhinged imagery, he isn't without a sense of humor about his craft -- and it's clear that he is keenly aware of the effect that his use of violence will have on the audience. Though the final act is somewhat confusing in its narrative structure, Miike offers some clarity regarding what is real and what is fantasy as the film gradually descends into madness. An additional onscreen interview conducted in the historic Egyptian Theater finds a relaxed Miike detailing the origins of the story, how he became involved with the adaptation, the casting, the cinematography, and the manner in which he manipulated the emotions of viewers by pulling the rug out from under them when the film takes a sharp turn from romantic drama to unabashed terror. An excerpt from Visiting with Huell Howser: American Cinematheque at the Egyptian Theater offers an in-depth look at the theater's rich history, with trailers, a biography and filmography for Miike, and a photo gallery rounding out the appealing selection of extras.

I think this is one of my favorite films by Takashi Miike, my wife and I love it! The first 30 to 45 minutes are a little slow, but it starts to build up to the last 30 minutes, which are really intense! This is a really twisted and disturbing film. There's just not enough female slasher films. But, there are a few and this one's definitely at the top. If you haven't seen this film yet, you really should. Whether you like Japanese films or not, this is a must own. Trust me! I highly recommend it! Also, if you're looking for some more female slasher films, let me recommend The Killing Gene, Monster (based on a true story), Teeth, High Tension, and Slaughter from the Afterdark Horrorfest III series.
