Absolutely essential if you have pets (or kids)
I have a good Bissell full-sized carpet extractor for a good “deep cleaning” for the carpets from time to time, but this “Pet Stain Eraser” is the perfect accessory to have to get a quick quick cleanup for those little accidents, and is very nice to use for upholstery and even for the car seats. This replaces an older spot cleaner and is a welcome upgrade with the rotating brush or cleaning bar (easy to swap out), better capacity for cleaning solution and recovery tank, better suction from the cleaning head, and much easier to empty, clean, and flush.
It’s easy to fill and use:
1 - the tank can be filled without having to remove it from the machine.
2 – spray the area to be cleaned.
3 – use either the rotating brush or the “scrub bar” to work the carpet and loosen up any sticky material.
4 – vacuum up the cleaning solution.
5 – empty and rinse the recovery tank.
The rotating brush is a nice idea, and it is not so aggressive that I am worried about it pulling the pile out of my carpet. The brush seems more suited to loosening the stain and working the cleaning solution further down into the carpet. It is very easy to swap the spinning brush for the scrub bar – so it is worth trying both of them to see what works best for your carpet and different “types” of pet accidents.
Cleaning solution that comes with the Pet Stain Eraser is already diluted, so there isn’t any measuring or mixing. I was tempted to dilute it a little bit to keep from having too much cleaning residue left in the carpet, but found that using the solution out of the bottle and then coming back with a clean water “rinse” really worked better to get the stain removed.
The only limitation I found on using the device was when trying to clean the vertical surfaces of sofa or chair (not a big problem as most accidents happen on the floor or the seat cushions) as you have to hold the machine pretty much at a horizontal position to get everything to work properly. Again, no big deal and you can spray the cushion and then come back and vacuum if you take your time.
Keep an eye on your run-time, as there were several spots I wanted to get cleaned up when trying out the Bissel for the first time, and if you really do a thorough cleaning job on a spot, you might get 2 or 3 done before you need to stop and recharge. That’s not a big deal as for daily use it’s “hey there’s an accident on the carpet” one at a time and it’s very nice to be able to grab the Pet Stain Eraser and get a good spot clean-up done without having to get the sponges and towels and deal with all that.
The suction is not as powerful as the full-sized machine, but that is no surprise and really to be expected. I found that how dry the carpet gets depends a lot on the angle that you hold the suction head, how slowly you move the head (you can see the solution being sucked up into the machine, so it’s easy to keep an eye on that). I was used to an older model that needed replacement, and each type of machine takes a little experimentation to get the best results. I must say that the carpet is always going to be damp after cleaning, so putting a towel over the area if it is in a “high traffic” spot to keep shoes from leaving footprints is recommended – and then uncover the area when the traffic dies down or for good drying time overnight.
After a full charge, the battery still seems to keep the full charge so it’s ready and charged up when you need it.
Overall – the “Pet Stain Eraser” is very handy so you have something immediately available to “catch those accidents” before they have too long to set-in on the carpet.

My new daily driver….
on February 3, 2021
Posted by: banjo
from macon, ga
OK I have a nice little assortment of wireless headsets, very handy these days when teaching virtual classes and attending virtual meetings and then retiring for some binge watching to get away from it all… you get the idea – something is in or on my ears pretty much all day long.
With that said, I must confess that these Skullcandy headphones are my preferred choice when it comes down to what I can wear comfortably for long periods of time.
COMFORT: I have some sets with fabric cups, some sets with plasticized cups, memory foam and all that. The Skullcandy Hesh is the most comfortable pair for LONG periods of time on the head. They are light, flexible, don’t “crush” the head but stay on snugly…. This set is the Goldilocks “just right” fit for me.
NOISE CANCELING: the ANC on these is the best I have experienced. As soon as I turn them on it is like I stepped into a recording studio sound room. All the window fans and keyboard clicks and other little noises just disappear. People who want to stand around and chatter and distract me all fade into little muffled bumps that are easy to disregard (and that’s another story for another day). There is also an “ambient” setting with a double-push of the ANC button that uses the 4 microphones to ‘repeat’ the ambient sound – so if you want to very quickly hear what is going on around you WITHOUT taking off or turning off the headphones, you can hit the button and you actually get a louder version of the surrounding sound than if you took off the phones. Noice!
BATTERY: no question about it, these last longer than any other set I have used – and I keep the ANC on all the time I am using them. I have yet to “run out” of battery using these all day for teaching virtual classes and then settling down for the evening to watch some movies or TV. I will put them on the USB-C for about an hour when stopping for walking the dog and dinner, and then back on the head for the evening’s entertainment. There is a “quickie” function that Skullcandy says gives you several hours of extra battery time with a quick charge, and I guess it works just fine because battery life has not been a problem at all.
DURABILITY: this is a real issue with me, as I have a “high end” set of bluetooth headphones from another very well known company, and there is a little plastic “hangar” piece that connects the headband to the earcups that has CRACKED and broken apart on BOTH sides. I have had to order this little plastic hangar TWICE and they ain’t cheap, and then take everything apart including using a soldering gun to remove the wires and then put it all back together again… which is absolutely inexcusable and will keep me from EVER buying headphones from that other well-known company ever ever again. If you have a nice pair, but can’t wear them without breaking little dinky plastic pieces, then they are NO GOOD to me. Now these Skullcandy headphones are a different story. Honestly I thought that since they were much less expensive they would be kind of plastic-toy in construction, but I swear you can twist these like a Twizzler and they don’t seem to have a weak spot. Thank you Skullcandy for considering durability as something important. I would not worry about letting the kids use these.
CONTROLS: these are very very simple to operate. On/Off button, ANC button, VolUP, VolDown – the start, stop, skip, answer, hangup all work with the same buttons, and the controls are easy to learn and the buttons are DURABLE and I’m not worried about them crushing under my fingers from pushing them a lot.
SOUND: sure you buy headphones for sound, but if they are not durable or the battery runs out too soon or the controls are a problem – then what good is the sound? With that said, I have no complaints about the sound. There are no equalizer settings and adjustments as I have on the more expensive headsets, but I have done virtual meetings, all kinds of music, TV, movies, podcasts – everything sounds just fine to me and I’m sure there are better sounding headsets out there as there always is something better for more money, but really I have no issues with the sound quality and if you have good ANC (like these do) then it’s easier for them to sound good.
Quick note about the microphones – I had been using a gaming headset for my virtual class teaching and also for the virtual meetings with the boom microphone and all that gaming headset stuff. I had a little private meeting going on and used the gaming headset with the boom mic first, and then switched to the Skullcandy which has 4 built-in mics – and asked the others in the meeting if they could tell any difference. They couldn’t tell if I was using one or the other, and once I got comfortable with using the Skullcandy headphones and not having that boom mic sitting next to my mouth, I found the comfort and ANC of the Skullcandy set to be a more comfortable set to use.
OK that about wraps it up. I don’t think you will be disappointed with this set of headphones. Spend more if you like, or if you really need the high-end headphones, but otherwise this is a set of phones that you won’t have to worry about breaking or running out of juice.

Experience total freedom on a budget with Jib True. The newest true wireless earbud from Skullcandy is easy to connect and easy to enjoy. Call, track change, and volume controls are all within close reach through one main button. 22 hours of audio on a single charge means you spend less time recharging and more time enjoying your music. Jib True earbuds are adventure-ready, too. An IPX4 rating means Jib True is sweat- and dust-resistant. You don’t need to worry about damage if a little rain kicks up during your urban or outdoor adventure. Dual microphones make your calls clearer and if you feel like keeping one ear open, you can use either bud ‘solo’ without missing a beat

Nice to have an economical pair…
on February 3, 2021
Posted by: banjo
from macon, ga
I have a nice assortment of wireless earbuds across the range of price and performance, and these Skullcandy earbuds are a good addition for several reasons:
1 – PRICE: these are the “economy” model, and honestly it is nice to have a pair of buds that I can “grab and go” without being distracted by the potential for losing a bud when I’m in the middle of something out in the wide world. Those who have a “really nice” high-end pair of buds will know what I’m talking about – as losing ½ a pair of expensive buds keeps buzzing around the back of you mind when you are doing something active… or maybe the potential for an earbud to fall out and get STOMPED before you can recover it. Hey, no one likes to lose any personal electronics, but “stuff happens” and having a pair of buds that won’t break the bank to replace is an honest benefit.
2 – BATTERY LIFE: OK no complaints here, as these will go 6 hours (as advertised) before they tell you that the battery is low. As with most true wireless buds, they have a charging case that lets you refresh the buds. Both the buds and the case are a bit larger than some others I have used, and I can excuse this as I think having a little larger battery in both the buds and the case is a fair trade-off for a little larger size.
3 – FIT: these fit about the same as any others I have. The buds themselves really don’t seem to matter as much as the cushions/earplugs that you use and taking the time to try the different sizes to get the best fit for your ears. Each manufacturer will vary a little in the cushions they provide, and the “default” set might not always be the best fit. Just a suggestion >> many of the cushions are interchangeable between sets of buds, and there are also aftermarket “memory foam” and other cushions if you have ears that need just the right fit to keep your buds nicely in place.
4 – 2’fer and 1’fer OPTION: something nicely different about the Skullcandy buds is the ability to use either one independently for listening and also for phone calls – each bud has it’s own microphone so take your pick. This comes in handy when I’m out walking and listening to audiobooks, talk shows, morning news, or podcasts, but still want to hear cars coming my way or roaming dogs coming up behind. I have other sets that you can use 1’fer function, but you HAVE to use the right one for the single bud. If you really want to get creative if you are going to be away from a charger for several days, you can use 1’fer all the time, and swap out buds when needed – to get double the time per charge and double the time from the charging case. This just might come in handy in a pinch.
5 – SOUND: OK these are not the “high end” buds, and you can tell some difference if you try some buds that are a LOT more expensive. Really, for daily use and particularly when you are active and moving around the town, these work just fine for me and I can keep the “high end” buds safely tucked away until I get settled down somewhere and really want to concentrate on the best possible listening experience. Meantime, it’s nice to have the Skullcandys for a “grab and go” day. I am reading other reviews about “good bass” and “not enough bass” and audio range and so forth…. If you are that concerned about audio fidelity on a 24/7 basis, why are you looking at the economy buds? You can’t have it both ways.
With that said, there are one or two things I want to mention to keep this review honest. The controls on these buds take some getting used to, and there are some limits to what you can control. Since you can 1’fer these buds – there are not “right side” and “left side” differences in the controls. Everything is “one button” on either bud – both the same. If you want to run your volume up and down a lot, or skip around on your tracks, plan on using your phone’s controls. The buttons themselves take a good push to get them to click and holding the bud with your fingers to keep from jamming the bud in your head and pushing the button with another finger and you need to push pretty firmly… it’s something you will need to practice and get used to. Not a complaint, but please be aware. Also, the size of the buds and the case are a little more than “normal” – larger battery I believe so that’s the deal. The buds tend to “stick out” a little more than others, and if you are someone who wears buds to bed, you don’t be putting your head “ear down” with these buds. Maybe not a problem for you, just letting you know.
OK with that said – a good price for a “out and about” pair of true wireless buds with great battery life, decent sound, 1’fer operation if you like. I have enjoyed my Skullcandy buds and no more worries about losing or dropping my buds when the action gets heavy.

Very stylish and lots of cooking options...
on December 6, 2020

from macon, ga
Right out of the box this GE oven was very stylish on the countertop… be sure you have room as this is a full function, “medium large” countertop appliance.
I’m not sure how much further an appliance can go, but this one has essentially replaced our standard kitchen oven for everything but large pizzas and the thanksgiving turkey!
We have moved from the “old fashioned” toaster oven, to a medium capacity air fryer, and finally to this nice device that seems to have everything going for it to handle most cooking duties for a family of three. Everything up to a full-sized pie will fit in the oven, with enough “head room” for a medium-to-large chicken.
The air fryer function has more room, and cooks more quickly than our dedicated air fryer. Going to the convection oven function, it heats up and cooks quickly even with several different items. Be aware that you will need some clearance around the top, sides, and back to allow proper air circulation and cooling, and I would not suggest putting anything on top of the oven, at least while it is in use. The top does get quite warm – not enough to burn you but certainly enough to heat up whatever is sitting on top well above room temperature. I would say it makes sense anyway not to put a loaf of bread of basket of fruit on top of a countertop oven, but the surface is fairly large and is tempting to use as “counter space” to get back some area from where the oven is sitting.
At first, I thought our microwave would still get a lot of use for a “quick heat” of leftovers, but the controls on the GE are so simple to read and set, and food heats up so quickly, that the “gummy” texture that the microwave imparts to leftovers is no longer an issue as the GE oven can provide much more appealing food and it is very quick to heat up so re-heating only takes a few minutes longer than nuking your plate.
Speaking of the controls, they are really very simple to read and interpret, and it seems every day we are getting more ways to make use of the digital system. We just realized that we could use the convection or air-fry function, and then add a “keep warm” at the end – this is very nice as it allows you to go ahead and get things cooked and ready to serve, and then back off on the heat and keep the food warm enough to serve when you are ready >> instead of being at the mercy of the “ding” on the oven timer.
The controls also have some pretty accurate “suggested cooking times and temperatures” that will display if you choose – these have turned out to handy and even if you want to make some adjustments, it gives you a pretty good place to start.
Overall, the cooking focus has been able to shift to heating up the kitchen with the traditional oven to using the GE countertop for many items. The appearance of the GE is a very nice stainless-steel finish, and it looks attractive a modern on the countertop.
Overall, this is a very versatile countertop convection/air-fry/warming appliance, and as long as you spend a little time going over the manual and learning to get the most use out of the controls, you should find yourself learning new ways to save cooking time, and trying out new, quicker, and more convenient ways to prepare food.

Good concept but the app needs improvement…
on October 25, 2020
Posted by: banjo
from macon, ga
Other reviews have discussed the difference between this smaller and “gentler” toothbrush compared to the larger and more aggressive sonic models.
I found the Quip concept to be very interesting and see this as a good way to get the kids to brush on a regular basis as they can “check the app” to see how their brushing is coming along and get daily brushing reminders. That’s the modern world, I guess, where we can ask the kids to “check their app” and one less thing to have to remind them.
I guess there are two camps on the effectiveness of this design. There are those that have the classic sonic brushes who correctly say that the Quip is not as aggressive – and clearly this is so. Others that are using the classic standard move-it-with-your-hand toothbrush find the Quip to be light, easy to manage, or more user-friendly in many ways that the larger sonic brushes. No question that the Quip is superior to hand-brushing and I would consider it more of an “enhanced” hand-brushing as you are going to be moving it around in a more traditional way than with the larger sonic devices.
To me, this is a good size for younger folks, and is modern and personalized with the included app. If you are used to the heavier and more aggressive sonic brushes, you may not feel like the Quip is aggressive enough for you >> I can recall having to get used to the more aggressive sonic device over a period of several weeks.
The Quip is more convenient, and easier to handle and use, especially for younger folks. If it encourages more frequent and more thorough brushing, that is definitely a good reason to choose the Quip.
One of the best features of the Quip is the app, and I have mentioned that this is appealing to the young folks and may encourage better brushing habits. The app as it is today does not appear to be a “finished product” and most customer reviews on the GPlay site are problems with pairing and performance. This is a significant concern and hopefully will be resolved in the very near future! At this time I cannot "recommend this to a friend" due to the problems with the app - which is the main feature of the toothbrush (in my opinion).

Durable with excellent battery life…

Astro Gaming - A20 Wireless Stereo Gaming Headset Gen 2 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC and Mac - White/Blue
Durable with excellent battery life…
This headset is used only on a PC desktop and laptop connected with the USB transmitter.
I always like to talk about how comfortable a headset is, since sound quality and style and so forth are not so important if the headset doesn’t fit well or gets tiring after a few hours. In that respect, the Astro Gaming is very light on the head, and the ear cups are very soft with fabric covering. The ear cups stay comfortable and don’t get hot or sweaty when using the headset for hours at a time.
The adjustments for head side are done by sliding the ear cup arms up and down – which can be done independently for both left and right sides. The form fitting all along the headband is not quite even, at least for my head, and there was more pressure on top of my head at the top of the headband than I have felt from other headsets. This isn’t a deal breaker, but after having these on for several hours, I do start to notice the pressure on top of my head. I have tried several adjustments and this seems to be the way things are. The pressure is not uncomfortable, but is noticeable.
Microphone is OK – and has a long and flexible stem to bring the mic as close to your mouth as you want. You can put the mic all the way “up” and that will mute the mic if needed. Sound for me is a little on the low side – full volume is not “too much” and sometimes could use a little more volume. What I mean is that I can turn the headphones up “all the way” and my laptop up “all the way” and still wish I could get a little more volume. This may have more to do with my laptop than the headphones, as desktop volume is OK – but lower volume range is noticeable on my laptop compared to other headsets in the same price range. The volume control for sound and microphone use the same volume wheel - with a rocker to switch the control from earphone to microphone. This takes some getting used to, although some may prefer having less wheels to fiddle with. There are also a few should pre-sets that can be quickly changed if you don't want to use your computer sound controls to customize the levels.
Automatic cut-off is pretty quick – as long as you have some sound coming in you are OK, but if you have the headphones on, but are not actively listening, they will cut off after a few minutes. This is OK and certainly saves on battery discharge, the long run-time for each charge takes away much of the concern about running out of juice > and if there are situations where it is quiet for a while, but you need to be able to hear when sound resumes, it would be nice to be able to disable the “auto off” feature if desired to avoid having to hit the power button to re-start the headset. Not a deal breaker, just a suggestion.
Style of the headset is definitely a gaming appearance with the contrasting colors and streamlined appearance. Construction seems rugged, and I don’t see any weak spots where the ear cups connect to the headset that might crack or break. The connection system is more of a “rail” than a hinge or swivel, and that appears to be a solid system that can stand some stretching and twisting. I’m not concerned about and weak spots in the construction.
Battery life is exceptional – I can’t really say how long the battery will last on a charge, as I have used the headphones for “all day” connection to both desktop and laptop for gaming, and videos, and general “YouTubing” and have not had the battery run out yet. I use them all day, then charge overnight.
Overall a pretty good value for this price range. The sound is acceptable, microphone is clear and audible, comfortable for long periods of play, and the battery life is exceptional.

Familiar Crock Pot with easy Pressure Cooking!

Crock-Pot Express 6-Quart Easy Release Multi-Cooker - Stainless Steel
Even though Crock Pots have been around and in popular use for a long time, it seems the “old fashioned” pressure cooker that mom used to use with the little dancing pressure release valve has kind of been forgotten. Pressure cooking has a lot of advantages, mostly less cooking time and more uniform “outside to inside” cooking (depending on the item).
This “combination” unit provides all the advantages of the slow cooking, simmering, and “keep warm” features of a Crock Pot with the benefits of safe and easy-to-monitor pressure cooking. All the issues associated with pressure cooking seem to have been addressed: you can keep an eye on the status of your pressurized system, and taking off the lid after pressure cooking is much safer and eliminates the “burst” of steam and hot lids.
The digital controls have plenty of the most commonly used pre-sets, and it one of the pre-sets is not to your liking you can quickly program your preferred temperatures and other settings for pressure cooking.
Size-wise the 6 quart has plenty of room for a 3 or 4 person family. We have enjoyed fast-baked potatoes (always have to try those first with a pressure cooker), stews, pot roast and vegetables, pasta, and homemade vegetable soup. All the things you would expect from a nice Crock Pot, with the added feature of pressure cooking to speed things up when needed, or use a “slow cook and simmer” >> it’s nice to have the choices combined into one Crock Pot.
After use, this Crock Pot is easy to clean and except for the base, can be popped in the dishwasher if you like. The non-stick makes it pretty quick to just rinse and wipe and put up.

Outstanding value COMFORTABLE & DURABLE...

This is a review for the PS5/PC version of the 600 Gen2 Headset used exclusively on several different desktops and laptop PCs.
OK first please consider the price point of this headset. There are so many gaming headsets on the market, there will always be some that “have less” and some the “have more”… With that in mind, the 600 Gen2 seems priced right for the features and performance it offers, with the exception that this headset is SUPER DURABLE compared to any other headset I have used.
EAR-CUPS – these are very nice for me, as I use this both for gaming and also serving double-duty as a “meeting headset” for online Team and Zoom meetings. Either way, I can wear these comfortably ALL DAY with an occasional pause to stretch without any discomfort. i have other headsets with thicker or softer padding, but I can honestly say that the light weight of the 600 Gen2 headset, along with what to me is “just enough” padding with a cloth cover (instead of leatherette or other soft plastic) stays cool and comfortable. Other headsets might be a little more “cushy” and pliable, but for me they build up heat and I start sweating around the ear after a few hours of use.
SOUND QUALITY – no complaints, and there is a quick-change button that goes from custom, to bass boost, bass and treble boost, and voice enhancement settings. These are very quick and easy to change with a quick button push, and allow me to adjust the sound settings depending on what is going on at the moment. There is also an interesting “Superhuman Hearing” setting by hitting the power button once very quickly, and this is supposed to allow you to hear very quiet audio – like weapons loading or footsteps… it seems to work OK but your use would depend on what games you play. This setting would not be for “all day” use, but for specific gaming situations where the quality of the sound is not as important as hearing every little itty bitty sound around you. For music and other non-gaming applications, this headset has good quality audio and although there is no “surround sound” feature, I haven’t really found much that is lost (again, consider the price point).
MICROPHONE – the sound of the microphone is OK. Not the best, but definitely OK and no problems being heard in games or meetings. I personally like the “flip up” function as the mic tucks into the side of the ear-cup out-of-the-way and not something that I worry about snapping off when I am tossing it around. The mic seems a little far from the mouth, but it has several positions that can be set “in” and “out” and “up some” and “down all the way” so other than wondering if it is close enough to my mouth, no one has complained and it is VERY quick to use the wheel control on the ear-cup to turn up the mic very quickly, or turn it down with out having to shut it off completely.
BATTERY – gee whiz the battery on these seems to last forever. I am in the habit of charging up earbuds and headphones soon as I get done so they will be ready for the next time – but honestly the battery on these goes all day long with no problems. I mean a long time. One of these days I may see just how many days I can go without having to recharge, but all-day use has not been a problem so far.
CONSTRUCTION – don’t be put off by the “all plastic” appearance of the headset. I personally like the construction as it is very LIGHT for long use, and doggone you can practically twist these into a knot without damage. I have been let down before by higher-priced headphones that had some “weak spots” like a hinge or swivel that broke and ruined the whole headset – nothing ticks me off more than a $5 plastic piece breaking and having to trash an expensive set of headphones. The 600 Gen2 headset does not have any weak spots that I can tell so far, and I don’t worry about being soooooo very careful when I put them on or take them off. I have used this over the top of a Rift S headset, and NO PROBLEMS with stretching the headphones out to fit over the Rift and NO WORRIES about breaking something. For no other reason than the durability, I would recommend this headset as one that will be around for a long time.
CONNECTIVITY – keep in mind the headset uses a USB dongle for wireless connection. The transmitter and earphones are already in sync, so as soon as you plug in the dongle or turn on the headphones they connect. I actually like this compared to Bluetooth, as my Bluetooth headsets and earbuds tend to connect to several devices at once, or to the wrong device, or sometimes a little bit of both. The USB dongle connection is one more thing to deal with, but it actually is nice to know that my headset is going to connect to whichever computer I have the dongle plugged in to – every time. You will need to have the USB port available for the dongle, but I have used a really cheapo USB hub to make a port available, and have had no problems with connectivity or sound quality.
APPEARANCE - I very much favor function over form, but let me add that this headset looks nice - very smooth lines and modern appearance. Older folks might not care too much about how it looks, but there is a definite stylish appearance for those that are looking for "looks" along with performance.
OVERALL – for the price, these are a good deal. There is really nothing missing to allow you to play and meet with good sound and microphone quality. Comfort for all-day use is superior, and the battery life supports it. Light on the head and VERY DURABLE. All these together make this a good investment that you will be using for a long time.

More choices and memory for multiple users...

The K Supreme Plus is an addition to a K-Classic which has been in happy use for over a year. The “Plus” model offers some nice improvements. Keurig has introduced the “MultiStream” which is 5 water pins compared to 1 pin on the Classic model. This seems to provide a better flavor since the coffee grounds are more fully and evenly saturated. My use is primarily for hot tea, and there is a definite improvement here for tea brewing, and I have found that the tea pods can be used a couple of times (second cup is smaller) and the tea comes out very nicely the second cup. The Plus also has more selections for brewing “cup size” and separate buttons to choose strength and temperature of the brew. I find the Plus much easier to use because of these choices, and this also allows much more customization of brewing, with easy changes from brew to brew. The Plus also has 3 memory settings, which are very handy if you switch from coffee to tea frequently, or particularly when there is more than one person using the brewer – as each person can set the Keurig to brew with their preferences just by setting the memory button and then choosing their “number” when it’s their turn to brew.
A couple of additional improvements are the water canister, which has a handle making it easier to hold for filling, and a little easier to put back in place on the brewer, and the brewer turns off automatically after 5 minutes. Some may think this will cause the next cup to take longer if the brewer is “off” when they start, but I have not noticed any significant difference in brewing time between the Classic (turned on) and the Plus (turned off).
Overall, in terms of appearance I personally prefer the appearance of the Plus vs. the Classic, but that would be a matter of personal taste. If you already have a Classic, the Plus may not be a “must have” at the moment – but if you are looking for a second machine or buying your first Keurig single-cup brewer, I would recommend the Plus over the Classic as it is easier to use, has more customization, and the controls are clearly and brightly lit, and to me much more user-friendly.
I would add that I got the refillable cup to use, and it brews both coffee and tea very nicely. Please note that you will need to get the 5-hole reusable cup, as the previous model 1-hole cups will not work.

Very handy and a reliable brand...

First off these folks have very kindly provided a USB A-to-C cable to make this a nice package for adding another location for charging phones and tablets. Nice touch and much appreciated! Anyway, this is very handy to have for a "second spot" to charge phones and tablets. The 12W per plug is enough to get a rapid charge on phones, a good charge on tablets, and will "make do" to keep a small laptop going if the battery is running low. Since it is only 12W per plug, laptops may be needing a little more juice, but mine will accept the connection and the input can keep up with the output and adds some more to put a "light charge" on the laptop. Yyour mileage may vary with the larger devices for completing a full charge, but you can certainly count on this device to keep you going if your battery is starting to run low..
Belkin is one of several reputable companies that make "secondary market" chargers such as this one, and please do yourself a favor and don't buy the "cheapo" knockoffs but stick with a good device at a fair price. It's a good deal to have a universal charger like this one of good quality that can be SAFELY used on just about any small electronic device.
I have several portable charging plugs from several reputable manufacturers, and this one is one of the better devices. Belkin is a reliable company, and the quality of their products remains high.

Great for older geeks who don't need the "sizzle"
By banjo from macon, ga
Actually the "top of the line" G910 gaming keyboard was marked down to a lower price when I got this, but too much "gamer" stuff on the G910 and not for an 'older professional' who wants to appear more mature than his 13-year-old gaming son. IMO the G910 wasn't selling as well as hoped, and the G810 is (to me) the superior model in design, appearance, and performance.
This G810 looks professional on the desk, has OUTSTANDING color display (note that the 'special' keys on the number keys are also illuminated -- missing on many of the other illuminated keyboards - aren't these ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) the ones you can never remember when typing in the dark?), no "bottom of the keys" light spillover that takes away from the illumination focus, superior engineering on the Romer-G switches (Check out the tour of the Romer-G factory in Japan on YouTube), and feels like a BRICK in the hand (a GOOD BRICK) with heavy-duty construction. The 3-way adjustable tilt and huge rubber feet on the bottom will keep this from sliding around on any desk, including glass-tops. The only thing that makes this look like a "gamer rig" is the FABULOUS and CRISP color displays... which are easy to see even with the lights on in the room > fully adjustable to get it just the way you want at home or at work. I may be an old-timer, but I don't mind showing off a little bit and this keyboard is an EYE-CATCHER when the lights start doing the 'wave' across the keyboard!
I read all the reviews and fiddled with the keyboards on display and there seem to be "Logitech Nay-Sayers" who can't bear the idea of using anything other than the older design "cherry" keys. I have gone from manual touch-typing > to I B M Selectric > to I B M 'clicky' keyboard (still one of my favorites) > to membranes > to whatever-cheapo-keyboard Dell includes in their educational computers > to a Saitek PK17U Cyborg > to this keyboard. This one is the best by FAR! Re: keys... you get a little 'click' so the sound and some tactile/touch reinforcement for keyboarding (typing) is there, but not too loud and for me just enough to let me know I hit the key. Yes it feels different from the cheapo Dell keyboard i just unplugged and replaced, but every keyboard is different and this one feels like driving a luxury car!
Speaking of my son, he is now looking over at my new keyboard and looking at his illuminated keyboard and I think I know what he will be asking for come Christmas. Fortunately, the box still had the promotion of free download and activation code for "The Division" so the kid has something to keep him busy until Santa Claus comes.
If you are an old crab like me, but like a little 'sizzle' when using your computer and want to treat yourself to a smooth-as-silk keyboard... this is the one I would recommend. Leave the "whoopee" keyboards to the kids.
PS - you can hit a quick button on the keyboard and turn off the light display if you want to turn off the light show for a while.

Update @ Christmas 2016
December 21, 2016
Mentioned that my son was keeping an eye on my G810 from the get-go... first time I let him 'test drive' my G810 he says "ooooh, that feels nice" and decided he wanted to go to mechanical keyboard. He has a 'gamer' RBD keyboard (non-mechanical) with extra bells and whistles he has been using for a year or two, but instantly fell in love with the mechanical feel. Just gave him a "Week before Christmas" present of his own G810. He had his pick of the models available, and after tapping some keys and looking at the different models chose to get the G810. Just goes to show the "fancy schmancy" keyboards might look more-cooler-better but the proof is in the feel of the keys. It's a keyboard, after all.

Meet the unrivaled, everyday noise canceling headphone for people who want to keep it simple. Hesh ANC is engineered with just the right amount of added features to make your life a little easier without a lot of additional technology that you might not need.

Does the headphone have a mic built into the headset where you can make phone calls?

yes there are actually 4 built-in microphones for the "ambient" function and for phone calls. i was using a "boom mic" gaming headset for my virtual meetings and phone calls, and when switching back and forth during a phone call and a meeting to check out the difference, the people in the meeting and on the phone call said they could not tell much difference between "boom mic" gaming headset and the Skullcandy headset. considering the comfort and battery life of the Skullcandy headset (see my review) i prefer the Skullcandy to the gaming headset, and also don't have to "switch" to earbuds when going back and forth from virtual meetings and classes and making or receiving phone calls. the Skullcandy headset works very nicely for all things all day long.

Pair Surface Go Type Cover with Surface Go* for a full keyboard experience anywhere. Ultra-compact, yet it includes a complete mechanical keyset, backlit keys, and extra-large trackpad. Plus, three colors are covered in rich Alcantara material¹ for an added touch of luxury and comfort.

What is the power source for the Microsoft Surface Go type cover?

the keyboards do not have a built-in battery that needs to be charged separately. the keyboard draws power (for the BACKLIGHTING - very nice!) from the computer battery when it is "popped" on. Nothing to worry about like forgetting to charge your keyboard, or losing the Bluetooth connection - it is all direct connection for power and signal. The Microsoft Surface keyboard seems to be something that everyone agrees is well designed and "one of the best" out there for a detachable keyboard/trackpad. Hope this helps and Stay Safe!

Do yoou have to use an app on your phone to install it?

phone app, tablet app or computer app - one or the other is needed to set up the printer. there is no "touch screen" display like other models, so you will need phone, laptop, desktop, chromebook, tablet.... anything will do as long as it connects to your home network (or the same network as the printer).

HP OMEN Obelisk by HP Desktop: Play graphically intense games with this HP OMEN Obelisk desktop computer. You can easily store large amounts of media and other data on the 1TB hard drive and install games and programs on the 256GB SSD for fast access. This HP OMEN Obelisk desktop computer has 16GB of memory for multitasking effectively, and the Intel Core i7-9700 processor handles resource-intense programs efficiently.

Is the storage (and other features, I suppose) upgradeable? If I wanted to install higher storage (a 2TB HDD or a 500g SSD, for example) is that doable? If so, is it easily doable?

very easy to swap or add hard drives - the solid panel pops right off and there are two drive bays ready to go. i did what you are asking about by pulling the 1TB drive that came with the system out, and replacing with a 2TB drive that already had my game files on it (steam stuff - you know what i mean) and adding a 1TB SSD in the second bay. Transferred the system settings from the "old" computer to this new one using TransWiz to migrate the windows 10 user profiles from the old machine and this freed up the 1TB SSD from the "old" machine to be used for game files on the Obelisk.

Are both side panels removable? I know the windowed one will come off, but is the other side detach as well? Thanks in advance for your answers!

yes both side pop off very easily. the clear side panel for access to the motherboard, the solid side panel gives you access to the quick-change slots for 2 hard drives. I swapped out the provided hard drive with one that already had game files on it, and the popped in a SSD in the blank bay. just use the rails to mount the hard drives and leave the little tiny screws in the tool box. easy peasy!

i got 10+ couple days ago and it says model I3223. software is most current 53.0.A.4.79 so no update needed as i have heard about some Xperia 10 early shipments. from what i have heard some issues were from software that needed updating, and i have had no issues with audio, bluetooth, or other concerns.
