Precision gameplay is now a hands-length away. The Wii Nunchuk Controller is used in conjunction with the Wii Remote and connects easily via the expansion port to get you into the swing of things. When combined, the input device duo becomes your sword and shield to combat charging assailants, your defense against a brawny linebacker and so much more. Because the Wii Remote and Nunchuk Controller are relatively dependent on each other, feel free to hold each controller in whichever hand is most comfortable. The ambidextrous design grants matchless accessibility for greater control over gameplay.Formulated with the same motion-sensing technology enabled in the Wii Remote controller, but with an analog stick to assist in character movement, the Wii Nunchuk thrusts you into a fully immersive gaming experience. In several games, you can use the analog stick to move your playable character, while the Wii Remote performs a specific action, such as throwing a pass or aiming a weapon, for the utmost in teamwork. Contoured perfectly to fit in the palm of your hand, the Nunchuk Controller is also equipped with conveniently located buttons for lightning-quick access.

The Wii Nunchuk controller attachment simply rocks! It plugs right into the Wii remote, and adds a unique feel to so many games out on the Wii market. Nintendo always creates seemingly strange controllers with every console, but like any Nintendo controller, the nunchuk is simple to use and extremely comfortable. It takes next to no time at all to get used to it. This one gets 5 stars!
What's great about it: Easy to connect, comfortable and easy to use!

With a new day comes a new leader for the sixth season, as Wayne Palmer (DB Woodside), brother of former president David Palmer, has taken the reins from the corrupt Charles Logan (Gregory Itzin). But President Palmer has little time to celebrate his election, as America faces yet another grave threat, this one from Islamic terrorist Abu Fayed (Adoni Maropis). By way of introduction, Fayed orders suicide bombings of 10 U.S. cities over a period of 11 weeks. But he's just getting warmed up-before Day 6 comes to a close, the threat goes nuclear. Trying to prevent further bloodshed, as always, is Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland). Out of the frying pan and into the fire, Jack is freed after months of torture in a Chinese prison, only to be handed over to Fayed in exchange for seemingly valuable intel. Tackling the day's dangers on the CTU front are new personnel additions Mike Doyle (Rick Schroder), who replaces the fallen Curtis Manning as director of field operations, and Agent Milo Pressman (Eric Balfour), who has a history of butting heads with his new boss. Day 6 also provides the first glimpse of Jack's blood relatives, his father Phillip (James Cromwell) and brother Graem (Paul McCrane). But it's far from a touching family reunion, as one of Jack's toughest challenges is determining where the other Bauers' loyalties lie. Several new faces make their way to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., including steely vice president Noah Daniels (Powers Boothe) and presidential advisers Reed Pollock (Chad Lowe) and Thomas Lennox (Peter MacNicol), each of whom has his own agenda. Making a surprise return later in the day are former president Logan, his ex-wife Martha (Jean Smart), and former Secret Service agent Aaron Pierce (Glenn Morshower), all of whom play brief but pivotal roles in the season's developments.

Just when you thought the writers of 24 couldn't throw anything else new at you...they did! Season 6 of 24 delivers more nonstop action and a plot that starts or great and draws you in even more with each passing second. When you first run into Jack Bauer, he's lower that he's ever been before...but that doesn't stop him from doing what he needs to. Watching 24 is truly like eating potato chips...you can't have just one. You'll be hooked by the first episode, and you'll just want to keep watching and watching. Familiar faces return to face a new enemy. Season 6 was the best yet for 24...and with Season 7 only a few months away...who knows what will happen. Need something exciting to watch? Grab Season 6 of 24!
What's great about it: 24 sets a new standard for drama!

As a kid, I grew up watching Transformers every week. Seeing it brought to life on the big screen was incredible. The plot along with the action scenes made for a great movie. And seeing the atubots and decepticons brought to life was great! Voice acting and all was simply great! 5 stars!
What's great about it: An awesome translation from aniimated series to live-action movie!
What's not so great: Ending came up somewhat abruptly.

Green Day Rules!

American Idiot was a shift in, not only the appearance of the band, but in their music. And let's just say that they nailed it! American Idiot is a phenomenal album, with Green Day doing what they do best. It's hard not to get fired up when listening to tracks like American Idiot, or Holiday. I would go as far as to call this album a masterpiece. It has a little bit of everything, in just the right proportions. Some great rock, mixed with some more serious tones. 5 Stars!
What's great about it: An awesome new style, GREAT music!
What's not so great: If this sort of thing bothers you, the language could be a bit rough at times...

WHOA!

It's been quite a while since I saw a movie that was just raw, blind action. 300 is one of those movies that just gets you pumped up! The CGI scenery and effects were spectacular! The acting...TREMENDOUS! The plot was very simple, but it hit hard with all of the action, fighting, and whatnot! Need a thrill ride that you don't really want to think your way through? Pick up 300. It's the kind of movie you can watch time after time. Oh, and try it out on a surround sound system. Trust me on this one...
"THIS IS SPARTA!!!"
What's great about it: This movie is raw action!
What's not so great: Depends on your point of view...you either like it, or you don't.

Marvel finally hit the nail on the head with the transition from comic to movie with Iron Man. This movie had it all. The acting was superb, the effects were top-notch, and there was plenty of great action! The plot line was excellent, and there's a special little surprise at the end of the credits that just put the icing on the cake. I have nothing bad to say here. This movie gets 5 stars all around!
What's great about it: Acting, plots, effects...everything was bordering on perfect!
What's not so great: None, which is a first for any Marvel movie I have seen.

Not Bad at All!

Spider-Man 3 was a movie that I was looking forward to for a very long time. I loved the comics as a kid, and seeing it brought to life on the big screen was just awesome. There's plenty of action in this movie, and I love the plot of Peter Parker struggling with the darkness within himself. The story ultimately culminates in his redemption as he takes down the villains, and ultimately his dark side. That being said, it seemed like they were really trying to pack a lot into this movie, so there wasn't a whole lot of time to sit and catch your breath. There was always something being thrown at you, but I personally love action scenes, so I was OK with that for the most part. I thought this was a great movie, but I do acknowledge that it could have been better.
What's great about it: Excellent rendition of the struggle within oneself, albeit extreme, but you can relate.
What's not so great: So much happens in such a short amount of time.

More Mariokart Greatness!

Mariokart DS goes back to the control style similar to the original Super Mariokart. There are plenty of brand-new tracks, plus a bunch from previous Mariokart games for all you fans of the classics! In addition to solo grand prix, there are battle games and missions to complete as well. And as with any Mario game, there are plenty of playable characters to choose from, and multiplayer mode is excellent as well. All-in-all, the great game with plenty of challenges to keep you occupied for a good long time.
What's great about it: Brings back the classic style of Mariokart.
What's not so great: Gets repetitive if you're playing solo.

Once upon a time, the gaming world was turned on its head by a little gray cartridge for the Nintendo Entertainment System: Super Mario Bros. Now, more than twenty years later, witness the evolution of the platformer that started it all with New Super Mario Bros., the latest installment of the beloved franchise on the Nintendo DS. It may be in incredible 3D, but you'll hearken back to those glorious 2D days of stomping Goombas, kicking turtle shells and chasing mushrooms.Join Mario and Luigi as they jump and climb their way over fields, under water, through castles and into the air. Collect all-new powerups, including the Blue Shell that Mario can ride in and the massive Mushroom that makes him super-huge. Team up with a friend and play as both Mario and Luigi in multiplayer mode. You and Mario will both take a nice little trip back to your roots with New Super Mario Bros.

Mario Bros. Back to its Roots!

New Super Mario Bros. satisfies the needs of modern-day Mario fans, as well as fans of the classic Mario Bros. games. Nintendo brings new age graphics back to the old-style of side-scrolling Mario adventures. You get to play as either Mario, or Luigi in this adventure through 8 worlds of mayhem. The game even has old-style levels such as the mushroom-tops, ice worlds, and underwater stages. Of course, you can't forget the castles and underground levels too! And fans of the classics will love the return of the flag staffs at the end of the basic levels! Best of luck reaching the top! The game also includes new power-ups including the blue shell-suit, and the Mega Mushroom which allows you stomp on any baddies or obstacles in your path. The game also has a few multiplayer mini-games you can try with your friends! All-in-all, an excellent game!
What's great about it: A modern-day jumpback to side-scrolling Mario Bros.
What's not so great: Not much to do in the game beyond getting to the final level.

SynopsisThe classic title Super Mario 64 has been reinvented for the new Nintendo DS. Mario, Luigi and Wario set out from the castle for a royal party with Princess Peach. However, when they arrive they find the castle empty. Meanwhile, Yoshi awakens to find the castle empty with Mario, Luigi and Wario nowhere to be seen. Soon he discovers that Bowser has infiltrated the castle and stolen the Power Stars. He's also imprisoned the Toads in the castle's collection of paintings. While the story is the same, there are new worlds, characters, moves and action-packed mini games to add to the excitement. Take on the role of Mario, Yoshi, Luigi or Wario and use each character's individual talents to find the 150 Power Stars hidden in the castle. Yoshi can eat enemies and turn them into eggs that can be thrown. Mario can punch, kick and wall jump, while Luigi can jump to incredible heights. Use Wario's super strength to break blocks. Locate Power Flowers for even bigger powers, including invisibility, fire breath or floating. Play in Adventure mode and use the game stylus to play new touch-screen mini games. Challenge friends with the Wireless Versus mode, which you can play with only one game card. Enjoy a classic game with an all-new twist.

A Good Remake

If you were a fan of the original Super Mario 64, then you'll like this remake of the game. Most notably, they made the game a little longer and threw a few new levels and bosses at you. Oh, and you get a chance to play as Wario, Luigi and Yoshi, in addition to Mario, of course. However, they didn't spend a whole lot of time making the new content much more challenging. I would say that the hardest part of the game is just adjusting to the DS controls as opposed to the N64 controller. The mini-games were pretty fun though. I played through the entire game pretty quickly, meaning finding every single Star, including the 30 that they added to the original 120. If you liked the original, and you've got a few extra dollars to spend, I'd say go ahead and give it a try.
What's great about it: A nice, revamped version with some new twists.
What's not so great: New content wasn't that much more challenging.
