This movie is down right awesome and is exactly what we have come to expect from Seth Rogan. It includes tons of special features as well. I highly recommend picking this one up.
What's great about it: Great picture and lossless audio
What's not so great: Not all of the special features are in high definition
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fans of this film will greatly enjoy this release. It has all of the special features found on the DVD along with some new retrospective material featuring some of the key cast and crew.
What's great about it: Decent audio and video transfer with a ton of special features
I would recommend this to a friend!

One of the greatest Zombie movies of all time!

This movie is absolutely amazing and the picture and audio quality leave nothing to be desired. My only problem with this release is universals U-control which is a picture in picture scene access for the special features. Meaning, in order to view any of the special features you have to watch the movie with this feature on. I honestly can't say I am a fan of this implementation.
Anyone who is a fan of the film, and how could you not be, would be happy to own this blu-ray.
What's great about it: Great picture and reference quality audio!
What's not so great: all of the special features are accessed through universals U-control
I would recommend this to a friend!

How can you pass on Beetlejuice?

This is a great transfer with all of the special features that can be found on the deluxe edition DVD. Unfortunately, there wasn't much in the way of special features on that DVD. There is also a bonus CD with a copy of the score on it along with the banana boat song.
This is one of Keaton's and Burton's best. I would highly recommend it.
What's great about it: Great picture quality and all of the special features from the DVD
What's not so great: The lossless audio leaves something to be desired

A good thriller

The movie is a rather good tale of suspense and worth a look. The lossless audio and great image quality make this one a sure bet if it can be picked up on the cheap. Otherwise, just give it a rent.
What's great about it: Lossless audio great image quality
What's not so great: Not all of the extras that can be found on previous DVD's

Avoid this problematic release

Avoid this problematic release which is now out of print and instead spend your hard earned money on the Deluxe Edition instead. The Deluxe Edition has numerous special features and a much better transfer. Buyer beware.
What's not so great: a bare bones release with a problematic transfer
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A touching film with decent video and audio qualit

The audio and video are acceptable on blu-ray, however, this wont be close to reference quality. As far as the special features are concerned, you will get the same features regardless of what format you choose, it is just unfortunate that such a new release is lacking in special features as this one.
The movie itself is quite engaging. It has an interesting premise, and I felt it was great fun to watch. If you enjoy this type of movie I don't think you will be disappointed.
What's great about it: Decent audio and video quality
What's not so great: No lossless audio and lacking in special features

A very poor movie

This movie was just plain bad. I feel asleep two or three times trying to finish the movie and had to start over. There were a scene or two that had great image quality, but over all it looked rather bland. I would say that John Cusack let his thoughts on the Iraq war fly with the making of this film and it certainly blinded him to the fact that he was writing, producing, and acting in a very bad film. I would avoid this one.
What's great about it: A few stunning shots and good audio
What's not so great: a horribly stupid movie and no special features
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A decent film with a decent transfer

Unfortunately, MGM has left out all of the special features that can be found on the 20th anniversary collectors edition DVD of Robocop. If you want any special features, you will have to get the DVD. The blu-ray has decent picture and audio quality, but it is still lacking compared to other releases. I would say this is for fans of the film only.
What's great about it: Lossless Audio
What's not so great: bare bones release.

Refence quality video!

While it is a 2 disc set and all of the special features are in 1080p, I just think they could have used some more special features with this release. The film has stunning picture and audio quality and is a great tale as we have come to expect from Clint Eastwood's films.
What's great about it: Reference quality video and great audio
What's not so great: This release could use more bonus features

Are PS2 games compatible with PS3 console?

I want to know if PS3 will play my PS2 games before I go ahead and purchase it.
There are no longer any PS3's being produced that will play PS2 games. The 80 gigs used to, and now they don't. I think the last ones that did were the Metal Gear solid limited editions. The 60 gig PS3's also had backward compatibility. However, it was encoded with hardware as opposed to the software that the 80 gig uses and therefore had different problems with different games, as does the 80. The 60 is generally thought of as more compatible with older games than the 80. You can find lists of games that wont work with either system, but they are few and far between. As of right now, you cannot buy a new PS3 of any size that has the ability to play PS2 games unless you buy a used one.
