Love the Lights

THE BREAKDOWN:
This Bissell Upright vacuum hits a lot of the targets you want in a vacuum. This vacuum is very flexible if you have a home that has many different flooring types. I personally have 90 percent hardwood and 10 percent carpet with 2 dogs. Overall, this product performed very well on all surfaces. It is lightweight and has options for maneuverability. Right out of the box it was simple and easy to use. The setup was very simple and fast.
I have used this vacuum extensively over the last few weeks even through a carpet to hardwood floor transition. There were pieces of the flooring throughout the house. I found that the vacuum performed very well. A few things to not is that once I was vacuuming up some flooring debris at the end of the day and noticed that it was picking up quite as good as normal on the current hardwood flooring. I discovered that the brush was not on, once I turned the brush on it picked up the debris not problem. I found it interesting that the brush had to be on in order to get all of the debris on hardwood flooring. The light design made this vacuum easy to use. I love the rubber feel of the housing around the brush head and the wheels. When you bump into a wall or something it doesn’t leave a mark or sound like you cracked your vacuum. I have one rug that has longer carpet pieces on it and the Plush Carpet feature really helped it to move better on the rug.
The lights are one of my favorite features of this vacuum. You do not know how much hair and dirt are on your floor until you see it with the lights on this vacuum. I was surprised the first time I used this machine.
Emptying the canister could have been though out a little more in my opinion as you have the top button to remove it from the machine and then to dump you have to push the button on the bottom of the canister getting dust and debris on you sometimes. I think the button to dump should be the one that releases it from the vacuum itself.
The noise level is average as far as vacuums go. I didn’t really notice that it was louder or quitter than previous vacuums that I have owned.
One last thing to mention is the power cord. The cord is long which is good, but it is made of stiff like material and is not very malleable. That is just a personal preference.

Fast and Easy Installation

THE BREAKDOWN:
This 3M Filtrete standard under-the-sink water filtration kit is super easy to install and maintain. Installation was very easy along with the step-by-step instructions. If you can use a screwdriver and wrench this project should be very fast and simple. All the items needed for the kit to work was included in the package.
This filtration filter is good for approximately 6 moths or 2,000 gal of water. After you install the filter you need to turn on the water and let it run for about 10 minutes to clear the filter and lines. To remove the filter is a simple quarter turn process. I have had zero leaks with this kit thus far. I did not see any decrease in water pressure after installing this product.
This product did an excellent job of filtering as I did not notice any off-tasting water. This filter is supposed to reduce chlorine taste & odor, sand, soil, silt, rust, and sediment (5 micron). It also maintains a flow rate of 2.25 gallons per minute.

Great advanced shaver

THE BREAKDOWN:
The Norelco wet and dry shaver 7500 delivers a decently smooth shave and I have to admit with less skin irritation than my other electric shave.
The shaver came packaged in retail packaging. It was very well put together. Inside the box was the Shaver, a travel case, power/charging cord and a small cleaning brush.
The shaver battery was almost completed depleted when it arrived. I fully charged the battery before first use. You can also charge the battery for one hour and it gives about 60 minutes of shaves and depending on the time you take to shave. This shaver has very flexible heads that does a good job of keeping contact with your skin. The heads are also surrounded by ComfortGlide rings. These rings have a protective coating to help reduce skin irritation. I found them to work very well. They also claim the they have 90,00 cutting actions per minute and that it also has self-sharpening blades. For the week that I have used this I cannot really tell if they do self-sharpen.

I used the shaver in both wet and dry conditions and both seemed to work well. I did not notice any difference in either condition. The pop-up trimmer worked well especially trimming my sideburns.
The shaver came with a cleaning base that cleans and lubricates in just a minute. I felt that this feature worked well and for me the only drawback is that you have to keep buying the pods to clean your shaver.

The LED display on the shaver itself was great and intuitive. It has a three level battery level status, cleaning advice and a travel lock indicator.
The shaver has intelligent sensors that reads facial hair density and auto adapts for your facial hair. It also tracks your motions when shaving and can guide you to shave better in fewer passes. The shaver also links to an app to track your shaves. I liked the app but for me I felt it was just a bit gimmicky.

THE BREAKDOWN:
If you have used Adobe in the past you know they have a good product depending on which product you use. The Adobe premier is easy to use and does offer a lot of assistance with editing.
This software is compatible with 64-bit editions of Windows 10 and macOS 10.12 and higher. I used it on the Windows 10 platform. It did use around 6GB of disk space to install.

If you have used Premier Elements in the past some of the new features are the mask selection tool with motion tracking, 21 new background music tracks and guided edits such as Double exposure and Animated Mattes.
When opening Premier Elements, it opens in a separate Organizer app which to me seems a little clunky. I just want to click the icon and it opens directly to the app not an organizer then into the app. Some may find this feature great but for me it didn’t seem intuitive.
You have autocreations which when you download clips and photos it makes some automatics clips which can be a good starting point for your project.

The editing interface was pretty much the same as previous versions. It now supports H.265 High Efficiency Video Codec (HEVC) on Windows. There is still no support for 3D or 360-degree VR clips.

The sound bar for those with small spaces or minimalistic tendencies. The compact Yamaha SR-C20 sound bar fits easily in whatever space is available and can be wall-mounted for even more possibilities. Small factor big sound

Breakdown:
The Yamaha SR-C20A is a compact sound that is best used in smaller spaces. It is built well and easy to maneuver.
Unboxing and Setup:
This speaker arrived in its original packaging with no outer box. It was well packaged even down to the tape ends being looped over to make it easy to pull. This thing has a pretty small footprint at about 23.6 inches long by 2.5 inches high and 3.75 inches deep. It has a pair of 1.8-inch cone drivers, built in 3-inch subwoofer and 2 passive radiators. To set this thing up you have a few options, the HDMI (ARC) input, two optical connections, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm analog. One thing to mention is the display is on the front not the top, so it makes it easy to read.
The remote is a little on the big side, but it does offer all the functions you would need, and they are laid out very well.
SOUND:
I found that the sound was very well rounded. For playing video games, watching movies or just watching news the speaker performed very well. There is an app you can download called Sound Bar Remote to control the speaker. Even streaming music over Bluetooth had an excellent well-rounded sound.
This speaker is also equipped with the following sound modes: Stereo (the simplest one that sounds pretty good when playing music), Standard ( this one is recommended for sports), Movie ( this one is really no different from standard in my opinion), Game (this mode worked very while gaming, I felt as if I was immersed in the game), Clear Voice (I found that it performed well while listening to podcasts, like it was slightly more focused on voice) and lastly Bass Extension( this mode did offer a noticeable difference in the bass and I actually preferred this mode when listening to music).

Solid Custom Controller

THE BREAKDOWN:
I have been wanting to upgrade my Xbox controller for some time but never wanted to drop the extra money to make it happen. So, I was excited when this one came out. There is a lot of good stuff about this controller, but the bottom line for me is that is isn’t wireless. I personally love the wireless controller and for the extra response time you have to weigh that in. This controller comes in a beautiful box and the unit itself doesn’t disappoint. The controller feels well-built and hefty but not to hefty. In the box comes the controller itself, a 10ft braided cable, extra thumb sticks, tool for swapping out the modules and a bag to store your controller.
Out of the box I was impressed with how it felt and worked. The buttons have a great tactile feel to them along with that premium feel good. I love the trigger pull and the fact that it can be adjusted (For some games) the RB, LB buttons feel awesome. Overall, the controller worked excellent and as expected.
The big things to most serious gamers are the swappable modules and customization. The modules were super easy to remove and replace. Like I already mentioned you can dampen the travel of the left and right triggers. There are 4 customizable buttons underneath the controller. You can also setup profiles which is pretty cool. To setup the custom stuff you will have to download the Thrustmapper software.
Overall, gaming has been a joy with this controller. It was comfortable to hold and use along with being very responsive and the joysticks remained sticky. I had no instances of stick drift which has plagued me in the past. I guess time will tell…..

Built Solid, Needs work

THE BREAKDOWN:
This camera is very well built and feels solid. I found that for my use the single view it worked well. It was easy to setup and use.
The camera itself feel solid and the base makes it feel heavy which is a good thing. It makes it not that easy to fall over and it is adjustable. It has long USB type A or USB-C cable that works with Windows 10 or macOS and I believe it even works with Chrome OS (I did not test this OS). I can verify that it was as easy as plugging in and using on both Windows 10 and macOS. I did not download any drivers or special software. I just opened Microsoft Teams and Zoom and started testing.
This webcam does have a 360-degree swivel which makes it super easy to manipulate for whatever setting you need. This webcam also has a built-in microphone. I had no complaints on the microphone portion of the camera. Everyone stated that the audio sounded normal.
The video is supposed to be Full HD 180p at 30 fps. This webcam had 5 built in modes. One mode is where there are 4 screens in a 180 degree view (2 on top and 2 on the bottom), 360 degree view with a large picture pointing at a person, another 360 degree with 2 large pictures, 360 degree panoramic view, and lastly the regular view as I call it where it is just one picture and the camera is pointing at you. Using the button to switch between modes was not as easy as it should be, I felt you had to know how many times to hit the button to get to the mode you wanted. For me it immediately went away after the first press and I couldn’t remember where I was, so I kept pushing the button several times until I got lucky and landed on the right mode. For the video I felt it was very lacking. It was pixelated and lagged for me. I felt the view itself was better than my built-in webcam but the quality was not. For the conference modes it does work well but due to the current state of the nation I was unable to test it with other live people in the room as I currently work from home.

Great Instapot, needs work on the air fryer

THE BREAKDOWN:
This product the Ninja Foodi 11-in-1 6.5 qt Pro Pressure Cooker + Air Fryer encompasses a lot of kitchen appliances in one fairy compact appliance. This product had the following modes, pressure cook, steam, slow cook, yogurt, sear/sauté, sous vide, air crisp, bake/roast, broil, dehydrate and keep warm. Overall, this product performed like it was supposed to.
This product came with the following items; 6.5 quart non-stick pot, cook and crisp plate, pressure lid, nesting broil rack and a 45+ recipe book. The packaging was very well done. The cooker itself is black with stainless accents which make it very elegant looking.
This product at its core is really a pressure cooker but they have designed some add-ons like the extra lid and the pot insert to make it like an air fryer. While I found the pressure cooker / instapot like functions worked very well I found some features lacking in the air crisper/ fryer functions. I made several pots of soup with this product and they were all easy and fast. I cannot stress enough how fast this thing can make items like soup. If you have a family on the go like me then time is not something you have a lot of. I can make 6 quarts of taco soup in less than 20 min from start to bowl. I have made rice both white, brown and black with ease. The air crisper / fryer function does work well but nothing like the dedicated air fryer that I currently own. For one it takes about 12 more minutes per basket of fries (about 28 min total for a large basket) and there are no handles to be able to pick up the basket and flip the fries. You have to have a pair of tongs and flip them that way. It may be minor, but it is kind of a big deal to me as we do eat a lot of fries and chicken products in our family. It is easy to just grab the handle do a flip/shake and turn it back on. With this you have to open the lid and hand mix the fries or chicken. It does do a great job at air frying but it does take longer and you have to mix by hand which is annoying to me.

Nice Smart Home Device Addition

THE BREAKDOWN:
I have a lot of smart devices, but this is the first smart switch. I have to say it is a nice addition to my smart home devices.
The packaging was well done and compact. In the box you get the faceplate, the switch itself, 4 wire nuts and an instruction booklet.
Installing the switch was pretty straightforward, just know that if you have a single pole switch box that is older you will need some room for the new to fit. Mine was very snug but it worked. If happen to wire the load and line backwards and there is no power initially just reverse the wires and you will be good to go.
After the physical installation is complete you need to pull up your own WiFi and connect to the Wemo switch. I did not know this until I did some research. Once you connect it you download the Wemo app and follow the guided instructions. It doesn’t take that long. It tests the lights and the dimming ability and then it is good to go. There is also a button at the bottom of the switch itself that will restart, reset or reset Wi-Fi.
The Wemo app is pretty straight forward. You can set a sleep timer, night mode or create rules. Super simple easy to use.
Overall, I am very pleased with this device. It was easy to install, and it has a very modern clean look.

Great Headphones, Great Price

THE BREAKDOWN:
These JLab Studio Pro Wireless headphones work pretty good for the money. At this price point you get good quality and the sound was above average for the price point.
I have a large head and ears and these headphones fit perfectly. They are lightweight and comfortable. After about 2 hours I can feel a couple pressure points around the earcup start to get a little uncomfortable. They are made of lightweight faux leather with some foam padding. They are easy to adjust up and down for head size. The earcups fold in and they take up minimum space. These are the most comfortable headphones that I have owned at this price point.
Charging was easy, it came with a really short USB-C charging cable. The other end is a regular USB that plugs into the power source. It took around 3 hours to fully charge the first time I depleted the battery. I got around 48hours of playtime on my headset which is really good.
Getting these headphones connected via Bluetooth was simple and easy. The controls are also simple to use and easy. There is definitely no overcomplications of multiple buttons. There is a power/pairing button, volume up and down which also doubles as the EQ preset button and a USB_C power port. One thing to note is that the USB-C power port is always exposed. One you press both the up and down volume buttons it gives you access to change to on of the preset EQ settings. The 3 settings are Signature, Balanced and Bass Boost. I personally liked the Signature mode the best. The Bass Boost mode did very well at amplifying the Bass without distorting the sound.
Have to say for the price I am very impressed overall with this product.

is that machine automatic?
Yes, this machine is automatic. Once you load the whole beans or you can a scoop of ground coffee and fill the water reservoir you just select the button for which coffee you would like it to make. It automatically dumps the grounds inside. I have made several cups before I had to empty the grounds collector. Hope that helps.

How cups of coffee can it brew at once?
You can brew 2 cups at one time. Meaning that you place 2 coffee cups under the dispenser. Hope that helps!
