THE BREAKDOWN:
The Crock-Pot express is a great upgrade from the older style crocket that does so much more. I have an all-in-one pressure cooker of a different brand that I love but there is something about the oval shape that just makes this one my go to. I actually gave away some older style Crock-Pots that I had.
If you have already converted to the all-in-one cookers, then you won’t be disappointed with this one. It has all the same great features, but the layout of the buttons and knobs makes it very intuitive and easy to use, plus it is oval. Who doesn’t love the nostalgic feeling of the oval Crock-Pot?
The fact that you can cook a whole meal in a single pot and not have to dirty up a thousand different cooking vessels is amazing. It is almost set it and forget it! You can sear meat and then cook it as a roast, you can sauté, simmer, boil, yogurt, steam, and the original version of keep warm.
I have made many meals in this crockpot from just rice to roasts where I sear the meat then cook then add the veggies and let it cook to making chopped steak with mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy. It performed very well, I had one issue where the lid would not seal, but after removing the lid and putting it back it sealed perfectly. The menu is very easy to use and if you want to vary from a preset then it is easy to override and create your own.

Crisp Highs and great lows

THE BREAKDOWN:
The Denon Home 150 is a great wireless speaker. It measures 7.4 inches (height), 4.7 inches (width), 4.7 inches (depth) and weighs around 3.8 pounds. It is rectangular in shape and is surrounded by a grey cloth grill.
The top of the speaker has a touch panel that is hidden until you touch it. There are play and pause buttons, plus and minus volume buttons. There are also numbers on the top 1 through 3 that are quick selection buttons you can assign.
Under the hood there is a 1-inch tweeter, one 3.5-inch woofer and dual amps. This speaker has the capability of playing high-resolution audio files to include, FLAC, WAV, ALAC, DSD2.8/5.6MHZ USB or streaming.
On the back of the speaker there is a USB pairing button, Ethernet port, USB-A, 3.5mm aux port and power cable. There is also a threaded insert to be able to mount the speaker.
There is an app called HEOS for both Android and iOS. I used the iOS app personally. The app was simple and easy to use and it walks you through setting up your speaker. The app also has a lot streaming services available such as, Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn, Amazon Music, Deezer, Napster, iHeartRADIO, SirusiXM, SOUNDCLOUD, TIDAL, and Rhapsody. Just a note you must have active accounts to use those accounts.
I personally used the Bluetooth connection instead of the app as I found it much easier to use.
The Home 150 does support 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi and is AirPlay2 compatible.
The speaker currently does not work with Amazon Alexa, at least in my testing it did not.
The sound for me was amazing. I thought the bass and highs were clear and crisp, even at high levels. I was not able to test the multi-room feature but the stand-alone single speaker was excellent.
I have other completely wireless Bluetooth speakers that cost a portion of this price that could hang with the audio of this device.

Compact and Sleek

THE BREAKDOWN:
The XPS 13 is very sleek and stylish but feel like it has armor like a tank. There are a couple of items that could use a tweak here and there, but it’s very well built and performs well.
When you first open the laptop, you notice the very small bevel and the continuation of the aluminum trim around the screen. Also, the white(alpine) composite fiber palm rest that is also UV and stain resistant. This is supposed to help prevent yellowing and discoloration. At first, I thought they built this aluminum tank and stuck plastic on the inside but quickly realized it was carbon fiber and not plastic.
The touch panel screen worked well, and the display featured a 16:10 aspect ratio instead of the more common 16:9. I felt as if the images were very vivid. One thing to note is that this laptop is rated to a max of 500 nits of brightness, which as you know it could let you see the screen better in high light situations.
One of my main complaints about this system is the 720p webcam with IR face recognition. I felt like the camera was grainy and lacking. With most of the world still on telework you would think that this would be one area where they spend a little more time and effort to upgrade. The IR recognition worked well for me.
This laptop comes with 2 USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 4 support, a microSD card reader and a 3.5mm headphone jack. If you have USB Type-A stuff you want to use on this one you will have to have the adapter in which Dell included one. One cool think I like about the power cable is that there is a little light on the end by the USB-C charging port that comes on to let you know its charging.

The updated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 standards worked well, and I did not have any issue with connectivity on either. I found the touch pad and keypad to work nicely. The keys didn’t feel too close together despite the small surface they are working with. The one key that I thought was just a little small was the up and down arrows. Also, they do have a fingerprint reader in the upper right which doubles as a power button.
The speakers on this laptop are rated for 4 watts of output and I found that the sounds were loud and balanced surprisingly.
The CPU and memory performance were great for me personally. It started and loaded very fast, switching between apps and screens was a snap. I did notice if you have to many applications open at once this laptop will get very hot, so be careful of that. If you are just browsing and doing some photo editing it isn’t really a problem. This also scored a 455 on PCMARK 10 which isn’t too bad.
Battery life wasn’t bad, I got consistent 9-10 hours of working time, which is good enough for most people’s day of work.

Elegant and Excellent

THE BREAKDOWN:
The Blueair 7770i model has delivered on this product. Not only is it up-to date technology it is sleek and beautiful. This product can cover up to 674 square feet space, filters the air and protects against viruses and bacteria. Living in this day and age I would say this product is pretty handy.
Setup was just a few simple and easy steps. After you remove it from the box and take the plastic off you open up the side where the filters are and remove the plastic off of them. Place them back in the unit and unwind the cord from the bottom and plug it in. It is that easy. If you want to connect to the WiFi there are a few more steps. Such as downloading the app and connecting it to the WiFi.
The 7770i model is very sleek and stylish but it does take up some real estate. It is rather large. This unit has an awesome digital display. It displays reports of volatile organic compounds (VOC) levels, temperature (which is very handy to double check my thermostat), humidity, particle concentrations and filter life. The display is a touch screen and responds well to user interaction. Most people could understand what it was trying to tell you by the way they have the viewing setup.
The fan noise is hardly ever noticeable to me. I ran through the fan speed settings, from 0-3. On 3 I could really tell it was working but 0 and 1 wasn’t even noticeable noise wise. This system cycles the air 5 times an hour claiming to kill 99% of germs caught on the filter and remove 99.7% of airborne particles like dust, dander, pollen and mold to name a few.
I tried this product throughout my home, and I found it really made a difference where my dogs slept. Normally, it smells of dogs but with this product running over the last 2 weeks I hardly ever smell them. This alone is awesome. With the app you can view outdoor air quality as well.

Love the Lights

THE BREAKDOWN:
This Bissell Upright vacuum hits a lot of the targets you want in a vacuum. This vacuum is very flexible if you have a home that has many different flooring types. I personally have 90 percent hardwood and 10 percent carpet with 2 dogs. Overall, this product performed very well on all surfaces. It is lightweight and has options for maneuverability. Right out of the box it was simple and easy to use. The setup was very simple and fast.
I have used this vacuum extensively over the last few weeks even through a carpet to hardwood floor transition. There were pieces of the flooring throughout the house. I found that the vacuum performed very well. A few things to not is that once I was vacuuming up some flooring debris at the end of the day and noticed that it was picking up quite as good as normal on the current hardwood flooring. I discovered that the brush was not on, once I turned the brush on it picked up the debris not problem. I found it interesting that the brush had to be on in order to get all of the debris on hardwood flooring. The light design made this vacuum easy to use. I love the rubber feel of the housing around the brush head and the wheels. When you bump into a wall or something it doesn’t leave a mark or sound like you cracked your vacuum. I have one rug that has longer carpet pieces on it and the Plush Carpet feature really helped it to move better on the rug.
The lights are one of my favorite features of this vacuum. You do not know how much hair and dirt are on your floor until you see it with the lights on this vacuum. I was surprised the first time I used this machine.
Emptying the canister could have been though out a little more in my opinion as you have the top button to remove it from the machine and then to dump you have to push the button on the bottom of the canister getting dust and debris on you sometimes. I think the button to dump should be the one that releases it from the vacuum itself.
The noise level is average as far as vacuums go. I didn’t really notice that it was louder or quitter than previous vacuums that I have owned.
One last thing to mention is the power cord. The cord is long which is good, but it is made of stiff like material and is not very malleable. That is just a personal preference.

Fast and Easy Installation

THE BREAKDOWN:
This 3M Filtrete standard under-the-sink water filtration kit is super easy to install and maintain. Installation was very easy along with the step-by-step instructions. If you can use a screwdriver and wrench this project should be very fast and simple. All the items needed for the kit to work was included in the package.
This filtration filter is good for approximately 6 moths or 2,000 gal of water. After you install the filter you need to turn on the water and let it run for about 10 minutes to clear the filter and lines. To remove the filter is a simple quarter turn process. I have had zero leaks with this kit thus far. I did not see any decrease in water pressure after installing this product.
This product did an excellent job of filtering as I did not notice any off-tasting water. This filter is supposed to reduce chlorine taste & odor, sand, soil, silt, rust, and sediment (5 micron). It also maintains a flow rate of 2.25 gallons per minute.

Great advanced shaver

THE BREAKDOWN:
The Norelco wet and dry shaver 7500 delivers a decently smooth shave and I have to admit with less skin irritation than my other electric shave.
The shaver came packaged in retail packaging. It was very well put together. Inside the box was the Shaver, a travel case, power/charging cord and a small cleaning brush.
The shaver battery was almost completed depleted when it arrived. I fully charged the battery before first use. You can also charge the battery for one hour and it gives about 60 minutes of shaves and depending on the time you take to shave. This shaver has very flexible heads that does a good job of keeping contact with your skin. The heads are also surrounded by ComfortGlide rings. These rings have a protective coating to help reduce skin irritation. I found them to work very well. They also claim the they have 90,00 cutting actions per minute and that it also has self-sharpening blades. For the week that I have used this I cannot really tell if they do self-sharpen.

I used the shaver in both wet and dry conditions and both seemed to work well. I did not notice any difference in either condition. The pop-up trimmer worked well especially trimming my sideburns.
The shaver came with a cleaning base that cleans and lubricates in just a minute. I felt that this feature worked well and for me the only drawback is that you have to keep buying the pods to clean your shaver.

The LED display on the shaver itself was great and intuitive. It has a three level battery level status, cleaning advice and a travel lock indicator.
The shaver has intelligent sensors that reads facial hair density and auto adapts for your facial hair. It also tracks your motions when shaving and can guide you to shave better in fewer passes. The shaver also links to an app to track your shaves. I liked the app but for me I felt it was just a bit gimmicky.

Great Guided edits!

THE BREAKDOWN:
If you have used Adobe in the past you know they have a good product depending on which product you use. The Adobe premier is easy to use and does offer a lot of assistance with editing.
This software is compatible with 64-bit editions of Windows 10 and macOS 10.12 and higher. I used it on the Windows 10 platform. It did use around 6GB of disk space to install.

If you have used Premier Elements in the past some of the new features are the mask selection tool with motion tracking, 21 new background music tracks and guided edits such as Double exposure and Animated Mattes.
When opening Premier Elements, it opens in a separate Organizer app which to me seems a little clunky. I just want to click the icon and it opens directly to the app not an organizer then into the app. Some may find this feature great but for me it didn’t seem intuitive.
You have autocreations which when you download clips and photos it makes some automatics clips which can be a good starting point for your project.

The editing interface was pretty much the same as previous versions. It now supports H.265 High Efficiency Video Codec (HEVC) on Windows. There is still no support for 3D or 360-degree VR clips.

The sound bar for those with small spaces or minimalistic tendencies. The compact Yamaha SR-C20 sound bar fits easily in whatever space is available and can be wall-mounted for even more possibilities. Setup is easy with a simple connection to your TV while Bluetooth lets you stream wirelessly from your mobile devices.

Small factor big sound

Breakdown:
The Yamaha SR-C20A is a compact sound that is best used in smaller spaces. It is built well and easy to maneuver.
Unboxing and Setup:
This speaker arrived in its original packaging with no outer box. It was well packaged even down to the tape ends being looped over to make it easy to pull. This thing has a pretty small footprint at about 23.6 inches long by 2.5 inches high and 3.75 inches deep. It has a pair of 1.8-inch cone drivers, built in 3-inch subwoofer and 2 passive radiators. To set this thing up you have a few options, the HDMI (ARC) input, two optical connections, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm analog. One thing to mention is the display is on the front not the top, so it makes it easy to read.
The remote is a little on the big side, but it does offer all the functions you would need, and they are laid out very well.
SOUND:
I found that the sound was very well rounded. For playing video games, watching movies or just watching news the speaker performed very well. There is an app you can download called Sound Bar Remote to control the speaker. Even streaming music over Bluetooth had an excellent well-rounded sound.
This speaker is also equipped with the following sound modes: Stereo (the simplest one that sounds pretty good when playing music), Standard ( this one is recommended for sports), Movie ( this one is really no different from standard in my opinion), Game (this mode worked very while gaming, I felt as if I was immersed in the game), Clear Voice (I found that it performed well while listening to podcasts, like it was slightly more focused on voice) and lastly Bass Extension( this mode did offer a noticeable difference in the bass and I actually preferred this mode when listening to music).

Solid Custom Controller

THE BREAKDOWN:
I have been wanting to upgrade my Xbox controller for some time but never wanted to drop the extra money to make it happen. So, I was excited when this one came out. There is a lot of good stuff about this controller, but the bottom line for me is that is isn’t wireless. I personally love the wireless controller and for the extra response time you have to weigh that in. This controller comes in a beautiful box and the unit itself doesn’t disappoint. The controller feels well-built and hefty but not to hefty. In the box comes the controller itself, a 10ft braided cable, extra thumb sticks, tool for swapping out the modules and a bag to store your controller.
Out of the box I was impressed with how it felt and worked. The buttons have a great tactile feel to them along with that premium feel good. I love the trigger pull and the fact that it can be adjusted (For some games) the RB, LB buttons feel awesome. Overall, the controller worked excellent and as expected.
The big things to most serious gamers are the swappable modules and customization. The modules were super easy to remove and replace. Like I already mentioned you can dampen the travel of the left and right triggers. There are 4 customizable buttons underneath the controller. You can also setup profiles which is pretty cool. To setup the custom stuff you will have to download the Thrustmapper software.
Overall, gaming has been a joy with this controller. It was comfortable to hold and use along with being very responsive and the joysticks remained sticky. I had no instances of stick drift which has plagued me in the past. I guess time will tell…..

Yes, this system claims to be weatherproof. To work in all conditions like rain and snow all year round.

is that machine automatic?
Yes, this machine is automatic. Once you load the whole beans or you can a scoop of ground coffee and fill the water reservoir you just select the button for which coffee you would like it to make. It automatically dumps the grounds inside. I have made several cups before I had to empty the grounds collector. Hope that helps.
