Fast and easy addon storage

THE BREAKDOWN:
This Western Digital P10 was a nice expansion drive for my Xbox Series X or it could be used for your PC. The setup was quick and easy, and it works as intended.
This device was really plug and play, as soon as you plug it in it recognizes it in both the Xbox and the PC and configures it for you. The drive itself is super slim, sleek and compact. It is made of plastic and has some nice rubber feet on the bottom. IT has a USB 3.0 5Gb/s interface and 2TB capacity which goes really good with the Ultimate Game Pass subscription included.
So, this drive performs well for what it is. This is an HDD not an SSD that has transfer speeds of 130MB/s. Meaning that some of the some of the Series X fully enhanced games will not play at optimal performance.

Full of features and easy to install

THE BREAKDOWN:
The Lorex Home center with 2K Smart Deterrence Outdoor Wire-Free cameras performed as you would think they would. I found the build to build and quality to be excellent and be very user friendly.
The setup was really fast and easy. I think it took me 10 min at most to get up and running. One exception being charging the camera batteries for over 4 hours before use (more on this topic later). You can use the hub itself to get started or use it in conjunction with the app. Either way the process was easy and simple. The camera mounting was simple and easy as it was two screws, and everything clicked into place.
The touchscreen video hub has a very familiar feel to it, as it is like an iPad or touchscreen tablet. The hub even supports Alexa enabled voice recognition and Face-ID. Another great feature of the hub is that it has physical switches to turn off the mic and the lens shutter. This feature is good for those like to take the extra step in locking down their privacy. There are so many ways to configure the hub. You can put it to sleep and make the screen dark, I find this very helpful especially if you have this next to your bed. You can even load your own pictures on it and have them display like digital picture frame. You can have your cameras displayed or the weather. There are many ways in which to customize the hub. The system comes with a 64GB microSD card for local storage and is expandable up to 1TB. There is also a handy USB port on the back of the hub that allows you to import or export images fast and easy.
There is also an extender that comes with this unit. It takes about a minute to link up and start working. I found that I never had any issues with connectivity before or after installation of this device.
The 2K cameras performed well and I love the fact that there are no wires to mess with. The two-way audio did work but was laggy in my opinion. I had to hit the mic button a few times before it finally connected and worked. The camera batteries took over 4 hours to fully charge and I had to actually charge the battery while out of the camera. This is because there is a light indicator on the actual battery but when I tried to charge the battery while in the camera there was no light indicating it was charging. I felt as if the quality and face recognition worked well. You can even set it up to where a spotlight comes on when motion is detected.

Smooth an non-irritating shave

The Philips Norelco Shaver Series 3000 wet or dry kept up to the name with this new shaver.
The shaver came with the shaver, power cord, protective head cap and soft pouch.
I have troubles under my jawbone with ingrown hairs while using electric razors but after using this shaver for over a week I have yet to have any ingrown hairs. I will be using this daily to see if the pattern continues.

I think that the pivot and flex heads really does a good job getting that close shave on all the contours of my face. I have shaved in both wet and dry conditions and have noticed to difference in the shave and the shaver itself worked fine in both conditions.
It has a standard flip up trimmer that works just fine and there is really no design update on that.
It has a nice rubber grip and a 3-level battery indicator. The battery has lasted right at 60 minutes.

To clean you just remove the head and rinse with water. Very simple and easy.

Another Great Sony Product

These Sony WF-100-XM4 earbuds are nothing short of amazing. Keep reading for my personal opinions on these amazing earbuds.
These earbuds arrived in an small case/box with all recycled material, 3 different size ear tips (one being on the earbuds themselves and the other 2 are in the case), USB-C charging cable, manuals, charging case and the earbuds themselves.
These earbuds are very well made as well as the case. Like most of the higher end earbuds these days that have a magnet to connect the earbuds in the case so that they don’t fall out easily and the set in the right spot to charge properly.

You receive 3 different ear tips with these earbuds, small, medium, and Large. These ear tips are made of some sort of memory foam material that seem durable. I have had similar ear tips on my JayBirds in the past, but they didn’t last. I have made it through several long runs and workouts with no sign of wear yet.
The sound quality was amazing, I felt like no matter what genre of music I listened to it was perfectly balanced. With the app you can adjust the EQ settings but honestly, I didn’t feel the need to. The app is like most other apps out there were you can customize your sound preferences. The 360-reality audio was really cool. I found that this setting was very cool as you can hear audio all around you.
The noise cancelling and ambient sound features are quite good. I tried several different distractions from my kids shaking a chip bag to running outside in the wind and the features are amazing. The only thing I found is that if it is windy outside even with the noise cancelling on you can still hear the wind hitting the earbuds, but not as bad.
The battery life for me lasted about 8 hours per charge with the case giving you another 16 hours.

Bring clear, powerful sound to the party with the SRS-XP500 Portable Wireless Speaker. Great Pool Speaker

THE BREAKDOWN:
This Sony SRS-XP500 speaker is very well made, heavy, larger than expected but overall, the speaker is amazing!!
The sound quality was very impressive, and the MEGA Bass option really delivered. We have and outdoor pool that is 18 X 36 with a large area to entertain and we found that this speaker alone could do the job. Before we had 2 speakers spanning the area but with this one, we found that with the proper placement we could now just use one. I found that the so called “X-Balanced” system delivered very balanced mid and highs. There was no volume setting that was to high and distorted the sound.
One of the other features that I found nice was the IPX4 water rating as we use this exclusively outdoor at the pool. With tons of kids and adults splashing around it is nice to have the extra coverage.
Battery life for me was about 19 hours per charge but I feel this has everything to do with how loud you play it, the light settings ect….. Everyone’s experience will be different. I think for the size and output this is pretty good!
This speaker can be setup vertically or horizontally as they have rubber feet to accommodate either position. On the top of the speaker there are buttons for On/Off, Bluetooth, Play/Pause, Volume +/- and MEGA BASS. On the back/rear part of the speaker there is a rubber door that once you pullout reveals two 1/4” inputs that each have their own level controls. The ports are for a guitar, microphone or whatever instrument you want to connect. There is also a 3.5mm input and 2 USB ports one for charging one for input or charging. Above this rubber door are 3 rubber buttons labeled “light”, “battery care” and “party connect”. I really like the battery care button as you can check the battery level at anytime by pushing the button and you hear an audible message stating what percentage your battery is currently at.
I have used both Sony apps the Sony Music Center and Fiestable and they both worked as intended for me.

Great sound

If your looking for a good Bluetooth speaker that is waterproof and has a great sound then this is the one for you.
This speaker is about 12 inches long and about 6 inches high at the top of the handle. I personally love the fact that this has a handle. It makes it easy to pick up especially in the water.
I found that the sound was very good even at louder levels. The speaker was loud enough to use outdoors at the pool with a fairly large crowd of teenagers. The BassUp button does work as intended. I found that the bass was much more noticeable when the button was depressed.

The speaker comes with LED lights that blink to give a beat driven light show which is pretty neat at night.
Being IPX-7 rated means that this thing can get drenched. The only thing that I found negative about this speaker is that if you do throw it in the pool or even set it gently in the pool it turns over and the speakers point down in the water and you cannot hear the music. I even tried to put the speakers facing up but it just flips over and the speaker go face down into the water. Even after submerging in the pool I placed the speaker back out on the deck and it played normal.
Battery life seemed to last around 15 to 16 hours per full charge. Almost 2 full pool days before needing a charge.

Budget Buy

THE BREAKDOWN:
If you are looking for an affordable gaming monitor on a budget that has good color and good response times this is the monitor for you. If you are into gaming and need that minimum refresh rate of 75 Hz instead of the slow 60 Hz and add the full HD picture quality, you have a great upgrade at a budget price.
Speaking of the picture quality the colors are good and vibrant. There are definitely better gaming monitors out there on the market, but you would be hard pressed to find one at this price point.
If you are a hardcore gamer then you definitely want a faster refresh rate, but I have used this monitor for my Xbox Series X and regular computing functions with no noticeable issues such as lag. I also used the monitor to watch videos on Netflix, Hulu, Disney + and Amazon without any noticeable issues.
You can adjust the monitor in the vertical position as well as the horizontal position. I have tried it in the vertical position when I write code and found that you can get several more lines visible in this orientation.
One thing that I found lacking or limiting is that monitor only has one HDMI port and one VGA port. Having either two HDMI ports or an HDMI and Display port. The monitor has no speakers on board but does have an audio jack port.

Pricey, but worth it!

THE BREAKDOWN:
This product was nicely packaged. Everything you needed to get this product up and running was in the box. This Linksys Atas Max 6E (AXE8400) is a dual node mesh Wi-Fi networking system. What is 6E you ask, basically it means that 6GHz band offers twice the bandwidth of 5GHz band. I must admit that I own the previous version (MX10) of this product except it has nodes.
This system is very simple to get setup and running. Once you download the app it walks you through each step and it really doesn’t take but about 10-15 minutes to get it up and running. I actually kept my Wi-Fi name and password the same so that all my devices would just connect automatically. I only had one device that I had to reenter the Wi-Fi name and password.
If you are a previous owner of the Velop system (like the one I mentioned above) then it is good to note that the new system is compatible with the old system. What does that mean? Well, it means that this system is backward compatible with the old system and will also work with the new system. You can use the old nodes to help further extend your Wi-Fi if you wanted. I have found that the 3 nodes were very similar to the 3 nodes that I used to have.
Performance was excellent. With my old system I was getting speeds around 290Mbps down and 24Mbps up wirelessly. As soon as I got this system up and running I immediately tested it and it far exceeded my expectations. I tested this in all the remote areas of my 3000+square ft home.
Another new feature that I really liked is the addition of 4 Gigabit LAN ports. I use this for hardwiring some of my devices and this was a huge plus for me.
You can also add a USB storage device to the 3.0 port and share other devices like printers over your network.

The Dyson TP07 Smart Air purifier and fan is a sleek and fashionable. This is truly a work of art that combines technology with application.
The setup was very simple, you install the HEPA filters and download the app on your smart phone. In the box you also get a sleek aluminum remote. This fan is about 41 inches high, 8.7 inches in width. It weighs 11lbs with a power cord that is 6 feet in length. This fan will oscillate 350 degrees and has 10 fan speeds.
The fan is very easy and straight forward to use for the most part. Once I connected it to the app, I began using the fan with just the remote. All the buttons functioned properly and when you change fan direction you actually get a visual on the fan itself. The remote was very responsive, and you get instant feed back on the display screen on the fan itself which is really nice so you can see that what your doing is actually changing. The technology built into this fan/purifier is amazing. It automatically senses when the air purity changes and displays live results on the screen and takes action by filtering the air. I actually used some spray deodorant to test this. It worked just as it described, and I was amazed. I also have dogs and anyone who has dogs especially young ones know they can sometimes smell like dogs. Well, this fan/purifier did an excellent job at cleaning the air where I couldn’t even notice the dog smell in the basement where I have it setup. I like the auto mode where it cools and purifies based on the condition of the air. It has a backward airflow mode which allows you to purify without the fan/cooling feature which is a really great feature. I love the 350-degree oscillating feature. Actually I have it set to oscillate at 90 degrees and my dog ran by and bumped the fan and it spun around 180 degrees but went right back to the front and oscillated in my 90 degree pattern that I had it set to. The Dyson Link app work excellent and you can control it from anywhere. There is also a magnet on the top of the fan that your remote attaches to, so you never lose it. There is also a night mode where it monitors and purifies in the quiet settings also with a dimmed display for light sleepers. You can also set a sleep timer for your fan to turn off.

Lightweight and portable

The RayCop Cordless stick vac with UV is as advertised. This this is lightweight and portable and does an excellent job at cleaning in the slimmest of places.
I have always wanted to get a cordless vacuum for my stairs and pet hair on my hardwood floors. This thing did not disappoint. This vacuum is even easy to use for children and grandparents. I have had both try and they held it in high praise for the lightweight and easy to use feature. I felt as if the small cannister wasn’t really and issue because I just do touch ups and stairs with mine. Speaking of the debris cannister it can be a little difficult to remove but it wasn’t a deal breaker. The vacuum also has three different power modes: normal, power and turbo. I found myself using the power or turbo modes most of the time since the normal mode seems like it didn’t have enough suction to do anything.
The battery lasted me around 24-28 minutes using it on a mix of power and turbo. The company states that you can get 40 min on normal mode but like I stated about for me normal mode didn’t do much. It comes with one battery so if you feel like you need a backup you will have to purchase one. For me this isn’t a replacement of my main vacuum merely a added bonus.
The UV head worked as intended and does give you that feeling of clean when you use it. Do I know if this works as intended, no but I will take the companies word for it?

is that machine automatic?
Yes, this machine is automatic. Once you load the whole beans or you can a scoop of ground coffee and fill the water reservoir you just select the button for which coffee you would like it to make. It automatically dumps the grounds inside. I have made several cups before I had to empty the grounds collector. Hope that helps.
