I used this to connect an external USB 2.0 DVD drive to my USB-C Chromebook and it functioned exactly as expected. I now have it in my backpack just in case I ever need it for anything. It is nice and small, so doesn't take any space... probably means I will lose it right before I need it next!

I was expecting a little better performance out of this speaker, it is a great size, not too big and not too small. I was a little disappointed by the sound, it left a bit to be desired.
Setup was extremely easy, as should be expected in any Bluetooth speaker these days! Just fire it up, pair it and you are ready to listen to some tunes.
I played around with both the settings on the speaker and the sound settings on my computer and tried several phones but couldn't get this to match what I expected from a speaker of its size. The price matches its performance, so I think someone spending this amount can't expect top-tier sound.
If you are on a budget, you will not be disappointed by this speaker as it will deliver a decent amount of sound with a quality to match.

This filled my need very well! I have a phone, smart watch and a Chromebook that all need to be charged at the same time each evening. I have individual chargers for them, but it is a pain to deal with a huge power strip for all the wall warts.
I plugged this in, plugged all my cords into it and was amazed at how well it worked. It doesn't put out hardly any heat and charges all the devices at the same time at the same rate as my individual chargers.
As a final test, I grabbed my finicky super slim laptop that complains about just about every charger I throw at it! It charged perfectly and didn't give me any errors about not being the right charger. I'm counting that as a bonus, since I hadn't even expected it to work!
I have seen a huge improvement in these kind of products over the years, and expectations are getting higher and higher as competition forces them to constantly reach higher. I would have no hesitation recommending this to anyone looking for a great multi-purpose charger with regular and USB-C ports.

When I got this, I was intending to replace using our big oven to keep the heat down during the hot summer months. We are now using this for so many things that I didn't even think about.
The user interface is very intuitive, we were up and running without even taking the instructions out! I did open them later since I know Ninja includes some great recipes with their products. We have used it to cook toast, heat garlic bread, cook brown and serve rolls and several other things. We are constantly finding other things to use it with, saving our kitchen some of the heat from the large oven. It does have a fairly long cool down cycle after cooking, but is very quiet while cooking and cooling down. I like the light that comes on at 30 seconds automatically, so you can see what your food looks like as it finishes.
The whole unit is designed to flip up to save some counter space, but we are using it so much that we have only taken advantage of this feature a couple of times. Looking forward to all the great things we will do with our new Air fryer. one of the next things will be a homemade pizza, they include a full recipe for that also!
This is our third Ninja product and we haven't been disappointed with any of them. Great products, even if they are a little more expensive than some others. They are worth the little bit extra they might cost.

Right off, I just want to say that this is an awesome kit for improving the cell service in your home. From opening the box to plugging in and powering the unit at the end, the instructions are clear and fairly easy to follow.
Upon opening the box, you will see that each of the items is marked in the order you should install them, complete with “Command strips” for attaching the two parts to places inside your home. It is always good to take everything out and check it over before diving into a project like this to make sure you are familiar with all the parts and that everything is there that you will need.
Before beginning your installation, there are a couple of important factors to consider. First, it is recommended that the outside antenna be installed 50 feet horizontally or 20 feet vertically from the inside antenna. For me, that was a challenge since we live in a ranch style house that is fairly narrow and single story. I ended up installing it on a 20 foot pole mounted to a fence away from the house. The second is that the two parts installed indoors are pretty sensitive to where they are in proximity to each other. I found that the indoor antenna works best a few feet in front of the booster and at least six to eight feet away from it. Again, since our house is relatively small, that posed a challenge when trying to find a good permanent location.
I actually was pretty skeptical of the whole system, not a good feeling to have when it is a bit pricey and involves a little planning and installation time (total of about two hours for me, including mounting the mast outside and running cables under the eaves) so I tested things out before completing the install. I was amazed at the difference almost immediately upon the system booting up. I went from right around -120dBm to hovering just below -90dBm! It made a huge difference in the coverage in the house. I can now send and receive texts and am no longer missing calls. The last was a pain as I was constantly getting missed calls or voicemail notifications while I was in the house.
After testing, I went back out and finished installing the cabling along the eaves. I ended up using about three or four times the wire clips than what they include in the packaging and had to add quite a bit of cabling as well since I ran the cable around one end of the house. Other than that, the install was pretty straightforward. Make sure you have a good ladder and are careful about not kinking the RG-6 cable!
It is very apparent that a huge amount of thought went into designing and packaging the system. The pieces are not going to detract from other technology items you may have in the house and the mounting system is pretty neat with either stick-on or screw mounting options. We were to the point of thinking of trying to switch carriers since our service was so bad in our house. It seems that the newer the phone, the worse the coverage was getting, so each exciting new device brought even more missing texts and calls.
Despite the price, I would have no problem recommending this to anyone, and while I have not tried their other products, I hope Wilson Electronics has put the same effort into all of them. This is a great change to our home and has really made a difference for us.

When I took the Logitech G-Pro headset out of the box, the first thing that struck me is how sturdy they look. The metal frame is thick and gives the headphones a solid feel. I didn't give a second thought to bending or twisting them when using them for long periods of time. I really like the fact that both the cord and mic plug in, allowing them to be disassembled when needed. Hopefully that also means the parts will be easier to replace down the road.
The thick ear pads are very comfortable, allowing prolonged use without feeling squeezed. The only problem I have with all over-the-ear headphones is that we have very warm summer weather (>100 degrees) and I have a problem getting overly warm when I wear headphones. This is true of all large headphones for me, but I like the feeling of over-the-ear, so I put up with it as much as possible.
Everything about the headset looks like it is high quality, from the cloth covered cord, the metal circles on the earpieces and the coiled wires connecting the earpieces to the frame. The satin finish contrasting the machined metal really looks nice also.
I look forward to many years of service from these headphones, and wouldn't have any trouble recommending them to anyone looking for a nice headset for gaming or general use.

With all the TVs available today, it is very difficult to find one with just the right features that you will really use instead of one packed with things that you won’t see again after the initial novelty wears off.
The Hisense 50” H8F 4K TV is one of those with so many useful features that you will wonder why you waited so long to try it out! I was overwhelmed for the first few days with what now seem to be basic features.
Right out of the box, the setup was very simple and we were up and running within a few minutes of the update on the Android system. The interface is very intuitive and responsive, leaving us with a very good impression right off. By using my smartphone, I had the TV set up and my favorites ready right away.
Pluto TV is an interesting site, that seems to have way too many ads for the amount of time watching the selected program, but it is free and offers a ton of content. Despite the ads, we end up watching it quite often. Other “apps” are pretty easy to set up as well.
The quick access buttons on the remote allow easy access to Netflix, Youtube, Google Play and Vudu right from the remote. With Chromecast built in, it is also simple to stream content from most devices right to the screen.
The screen has a very narrow bezel, with almost the entire front taken up by the panel itself. The sound is decent, but I found that the remote controls my LG sound bar without any setup required at all. Threw me off at first since I never turned it on but the sound was coming from the wireless sub as soon as I turned the TV on.
The screen is very bright with good colors - much better than I expected in this price range. It is amazing what we can get these days packed into an inexpensive device. We haven’t had any problems whatsoever from any of the features and every time we press a button, the set responds quickly.
Most new devices take a little while to become comfortable with in our home, but this TV has taken no time to settle in and seem like it has been there the whole time!
I would have no problem recommending this TV to anyone looking for a smart TV with lots of useful features.

The Nextbase 522GW is a nice, compact dash camera that records very good quality video and has a lot of options and features that help it stand out from others.
When you open the box, you are struck by the quality of both the camera and the mounting options included. Whether you want to stick the camera to the windshield, use the suction adapter or mount it to the dash itself, all the pieces are included to complete the installation. After charging, installing a microSD card (NOT INCLUDED!) and installing the app on a smartphone, you are all ready to get going.
While the app is not required, some of the features such as accident reporting and other things are not available without it.
After installation, you can begin using the camera for recording forward video of your driving and have security footage of events that may happen while parked. The video is clear and has good colors. I was able to see details of cars and people from quite a distance, successfully accomplishing its primary purpose. In comparison to a much cheaper dash cam from another company, the video was far superior in every way.
There are a couple of things that might stand in the way of someone purchasing this for their vehicle. The first is the price! Obviously, at this price one would expect the quality of the output. I was disappointed that they don't include any microSD card at all in the box, so you can't even test it without installing one. I ended up getting a 128GB card rated at or above their recommendations and it has worked very well with no stuttering while recording. It would also be nice if they included a wiring option to hardwire into the vehicle so there would not be cables dangling down in the way. I ended up getting a very nice quality kit for about $15 from another website.
The second that I ran into is kind of unique possibly, and that is a lack of providing any backup camera ability on my truck. I hadn't thought of the backup module not being waterproof as almost all of the others I had looked at that had backup cameras available were rated to be waterproof. The Nextbase backup module is intended only for interior installations, so spending the extra $100 to get a backup camera option added to my 522 will only duplicate what my eyes can already see through the back window! This will only affect truck owners since a regular vehicle's rear window is at the very back of the vehicle, so the rear camera can see very well. Because of this one "flaw" I will be installing this permanently on my wife's vehicle and will install another option on my truck. I wish they offered a waterproof option as that would really make this a perfect solution for my needs.
Overall, I was pretty happy with the features and quality of the 522GW, the few things I could find that I wasn't happy with were really things that were either unique to my install, or were clear on the packaging. Just don't forget to pick up a fast microSD card before you go home with your purchase!

Let me start with the only cons I can think of for this printer... it needs to have a tray for photo paper so I can print more!!! The pictures are also just a tad washed out, but I am working on editing to help with that.
Now the pros. The size is great, especially since it has an ADF and those big ink tanks. Speaking of the ink tanks, it is amazing how much ink can be stored in the printer at a time, no more flipping cartridges in and out during a photo printing session. The genuine Epson ink is also very inexpensive... finally one of the manufacturers listened to all of us!
Setup was a breeze, with not only the network setup going smoothly, before long, I was sending myself prints through email, which is a very handy thing to have with so many different mobile devices in use in our house. The only drawback is the one mentioned above... without a separate tray for photo paper, I can't print regular documents through email if there is photo paper loaded. A minor gripe, but it was the one real thing I ran across while using it these past few days that I wish I could change.
As far as speed, it does pretty decent as most printers do these days and the print quality on documents is very nice. I also have a laser printer, so don't print documents on inkjets all that often.
It has been some time since I owned an Epson printer, the ink used to be too expensive to keep loaded, so the printheads would dry out, leading to some very frustrated moments! I expect that this one will not have any of those problems since it has such large tanks (and a complete set of spare bottles was not too expensive) and it is easy to see the ink level from the front.
Overall, this is a very nice, small volume printer that handles a variety of tasks well, prints on a wide range of paper types and sizes and is very easy on the wallet. I would have no problem recommending this to anyone looking for a printer to fill that job.

I have a full stereo receiver and surround sound system that we use for watching movies, but this one works so well with just the TV running. We are finding ourselves turning the big system down since the sound form this one is even more clear than our old system. With the wireless sub, the sound can be moved around to give the room the best possible quality.
I find that the volume is not as high for me to hear everything, making it better for watching things later in the evening when others are trying to go to bed!
Would love to add the wireless rear speakers, but am happy with just the bar and sub for now. Now that I have heard the sound from this in our home, I may have to rethink the big system!

Can you make a map for the robot in the app?
No, there is no mapping ability on the SpinWave. There is a schedule mode, but I am not sure of the reason since it seems to NEVER return to the base to recharge after it is used - probably because it has no mapping function! It still does a good job, it just seems to run until it is stuck or the battery runs out.

I have tile and carpet throughout home. Will it mop tile then switch to vacuum carpet? Or do I have to tell it what to do? .
It has to be set up for the type of job you want it to do. The vacuum tray and the mop solution tray use the same bay on the robot. I was hoping it could be set up to do both also since the roller and fan are still part of the main body but it cannot.

Do u need o e on both ends? Meaning I have to have one and the person I call has to have one.
No, you can call anyone on your Facebook and Messenger list. The benefit to having it at both ends is that both ends of the call get to take advantage of all of the features. We haven't tried every one of them with a Portal at only one end, such as the watch together app, so I am not sure how many of the features work without a Portal.

How good is the motion detection really? I have purchased several cams and the motion detection is awful. Thanks
I have mine turned down since it is so sensitive. Even blowing leaves set it off at the medium-high setting. On medium, the cats still set it off, but I will continue to play with the settings and aim to see what a good balance is. My Arlo 2 was so delayed that the action was about done before they even started recording.

How long are the recorded clips? Do the clips start before motion is detected?
The clips start a few seconds BEFORE there is any motion, something my Arlo 2 system didn't do very well. The clips also last a few seconds after the last motion is seen, making them very useful for security footage. I was pleasantly surprised at this, even though this is exactly what a security camera should act like!

Chromebooks can run the online version of Microsoft Office without any trouble, but the on-again/off-again relationship between Microsoft and Google leaves us with difficulties when trying to "install" Office to Chromebooks. Different size screens have different installation abilities, on my 12" Samsung it is not allowed, while some smaller screens can.

I have run it for several hours when just browsing the internet, but it will be lower if the GTX fires up for anything! The screen is a very nice matte finish. I keeps the glare down very well even in a brightly lit room.

Hi, I just bought this computer from a Best Buy today. I knew that you had to charge the computer for the first use. But I didn't know the power cord didn't plug into an American power socket. What power adapter do I need?
There is a black cover over the normal AC prongs. Just pull on it and it will slide right off, allowing you to plug it into a normal American wall socket.

this laptop does not have many reviews, why? and would you recommend this product if I like Netflix, traveling and take notes at school and some light gaming
It is fairly new, so reviews are still coming in I'm sure, but Netflix does run great, even casting it to a Chromecast works very well, no studdering or other problems. It is designed to be easy to travel, its size is perfect to throw in almost any size space - about .5" wider and about 1.5" longer than a sheet of paper. As long as your notes don't include using a stylus for drawings or diagrams, this would be great but with no touch capability, that could be a drawback. Remember to pick up a USB-C to HDMI/VGA adapter if you do presentations, while it does have three ports they are USB-C only. As far as gaming, I haven't done much with that yet but I would be surprised if it did too well on anything that requires much horsepower. The CPU would do fine until heat builds up, but the onboard graphics would be the limiting factor. Older games or those with low-end graphics would do fine, but that is definitely not what this machine was designed for!
