Thought Provoking Movie

This is one of the most imaginative sci-fi movies I've seen. Really good visual effects combined with a great cast and a good storyline to boot. That's a rare combination these days.

Great Tablet at a Great Price

Samsung concentrated on the right options for this tablet. The 2560 x 1600 resolution touch screen display is crystal clear and far ahead of the standard resolution displays that are being put into tablets now, to help keep their price down. Colors are deep and rich and the sharpness is phenomenal. The Quad-Core 1.9GHz processor is fast and has no trouble keeping up with any apps I've used. As always, the microSD card slot is a bonus addition, and allows you to add as much storage space as you need. The Bluetooth 4.0 LE and the GPS are also nice options to have. For the price, this tablet is an incredible bargain.

Great fitness band with a lot of nice features.

I've had this tracker for several weeks now and I wear it 24/7. I've had several other fitness bands in the past including Fitbit, and I can say that this one is without a doubt, the most comfortable. Battery life is amazing. I charge it once on the weekends, even though it doesn't need it, and it's good for the entire week. The features are great and work well (alarm, text and email notifications, incoming call notifications, etc.). Having used a Fitbit for many years, I was doubtful that the web and mobile interface apps were going to be anywhere near as good. But both the mobile and web apps are actually set up quite nicely. I originally read a lot of reviews claiming that the web app was a bit lame, but I find it at least as good (maybe better) than the Fitbit web interface. It is well supported and I've noticed both firmware updates to the band and also web app updates. Your web account and stats can interface to other web apps like myfitnesspal and a host of others. The OLED touchscreen works really well, and even though the text for notifications can be small, it's clear and readable. I had no trouble at all Bluetooth pairing my Samsung S5 with this band. The one thing I would improve on is that if you select to receive notifications on the band, you should be able to turn them off at night so they don't wake you. Maybe they will add that option eventually.

Good but fragile

These glasses work incredibly well. They're light weight and reasonably comfortable. That being said, they are extremely fragile at the point where the ear pieces meet the bridge piece. I've had two pairs break because of this. They fit OK over regular glasses (for those of us that are vision impaired), but that fit could probably be better, although wearing 2 pairs of glasses is never going to be a good situation. The performance is top notch though, and if you're careful with them, you should have no problems.

Nice double feature for a great price

I had originally bought all of the Harry Potter movies on DVD when they all came out. I'm always hesitant to repurchase anything on Blu-ray that I already have on DVD but I couldn't pass up this deal. Planning to buy all the other HP movies this way as well.

Surprisingly good sound from a soundbar

In order to free up space in my family room, I decided to incorporate a soundbar instead of continuing to use my receiver and floorstanding speakers. This is actually the second Samsung HW-H550/ZA soundbar I've purchased. The first one I installed in our bedroom. I was very skeptical about this type of speaker system until I realized the benefits. For a home theater system or large TV room I still prefer the full blown receiver and separate speakers, but for a smaller room where space is a premium, this was a perfect choice. The sound is clear and the sub-woofer is punchy. Plenty of volume and a wide range of input choices. I liked using my receiver in this room to listen to music as well as watch TV, but I can connect to the soundbar using my smartphones bluetooth and listen to music too. It also has a USB port that can be pluggeg in as well. I'm able to connect it to my flatscreen TV using the optical digital audio connector, which is a welcome feature and keeps the cables to a minimum at the same time. Decent sound, minimum space requirements and lots of input options make this a great choice for a small to medium room.

Perfect machine for the kitchen.

My wife and I were looking for a machine that we could mount under a cabinet in our kitchen to use for recipes and everyday information, like weather or news. The Windows machines were just too much money for this type of application, and we didn't want the keyboard and mouse cluttering up the counter space. This machine fits that niche perfectly. It's wall mountable and has a standard VESA mounting pattern that allows you to use a normal TV wall mount to keep it off the counter, and when you don't use the keyboard and mouse, it has a really clean look.
The display is beautiful, and the processor is really quick. I haven't noticed any lag on it at all. It's nice to go to the Play store to install any of the apps I'm used to using, and it comes with Kingsoft Office pre-installed. Android 4.2.2 allows you to set up different profiles on the machine for all of your family members. A "tablet" for a kitchen machine is perfect, but all of the standard portable tablets on the market are just a little too small to use in this way. We have Cozi installed along with Pepperplate, Chrome, and several weather apps. You can print from it and it also has Bluetooth, a memory slot (in case you want to store more than 8GB on it), several USB ports and fairly good sound system.
Anyone who has any familiarity with Smart phones or tablets that use Android will instantly feel right at home using this All-in-one. We've been really happy with this machine and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an easy and affordable touchscreen.

Best Activity Tracker For The Money

After researching many of the top fitness trackers in this class, I chose the Fitbit for several reasons. First off, it looks nice, and they even offer several different colored bands. The small electronics portion of the device itself is slid into the band and not built into it like many of the others. This makes changing the band color easy and you don't get tired of wearing the same and only color.
It includes a Bluetooth USB dongle that allows you to sync wirelessly to a PC or laptop (which it does automatically when you get within about 20 feet of it). This was a big feature for me as my smart phone does not have the new Bluetooth 4.0 that some of these trackers will only work with. It has compatible apps for both Android and Apple and if your smart phone does have Bluetooth 4.0, it will sync automatically to your phone without having to plug anything in. The app looks nice and isn't cluttered or silly. It also has a web presence that allows you to log in and see expanded details of all your stats (steps taken, calories burned, distance traveled, etc.). It's a well thought out site that allows you to see your trends as well as current stats and also offers a social aspect that allows you to see how your friends stats compare to yours. The Fitbit also has a sleep tracker, and while I didn't buy it specifically for this feature, I found the information interesting enough to make me want to keep wearing it to bed. I'm very satisfied with the Fitbit and enjoy the information it shows me about my workouts.

I was a little skeptical when I first saw these, but I took a chance after reading all the good reviews and after looking through all the information and videos on the Jaybird web site. These are by far the best sounding ear buds I've ever used. They come with three different sized pairs of cushions and "bat wings". I think anyone giving them negative reviews on the sound quality, didn't take the time to experiment with all the different combinations to give them a fair chance. These are great sounding buds. The fact that they're also Bluetooth is a really nice bonus. I use these every day for at least 1 1/2 hours a day and they are miles ahead on minimizing any dropout that other Bluetooth headphones seem to have. I did have to work with them for a while to get the best fit, but once I did, they were easy to put in and I never have to readjust them. They just stay where you put them. The little wings really help keep them secure no matter what kind of workout you're doing. They're not cheap, but they are worth it, and I'm tired of being disappointed with the ear buds I've bought in the past. These definitely deliver.
What's great about it: Sound quality, bluetooth, "jenna", comfort
What's not so great: a bit on the pricey side

I bought this after reading a positive review in a leading consumer magazine. It comes with an impressive number of accessories but the suction is weak. It would not even vacuum up bits of grass on my doormat. I returned it and bought the portable Dyson instead. Night and day difference.

Can you install a full version of microsoft office on the Slate 21?
No. You can only install Android apps. MS Office is available in a mobile edition though, and can be found on the Google Play store. It also comes with Kingsoft office pre-installed which is a nice mobile Office-like app that allows you to do a lot of the things that you would using Office.

Keyboard / mouse required? And multi-tasking
Are the keyboard and mouse required for the Slate 21? Or can we just use it as a tablet device with onscreen keyboard if need be?
Also, can it multi-task, meaning run two apps simultaneously for instance, netflix on one side of the screen and chrome on the other?

The keyboard and mouse are not required. We use ours without them.
As far as multitasking several apps at once, no. So far that's a bit of a reach for an Android machine.
