Nice sized chopper, quick and easy

I really like this chopper. It's fast and easy to set up and does a great job. I've used similar choppers in the past and really like this style. It has a huge number of uses.
First off, the size is really nice. A lot of this style chopper is just too small to be of much use. This one has a good size collection cup. It has two ways of chopping, a blade accessory, and a separate blade and basket accessory. The simple blade spins at the bottom of cup and allows you to pretty much fill the cup and blast through whatever you fill the cup with. The second method utilizes a special basket insert with a different blade attachment. The blades sit inside the basket and chop whatever is inside. When the pieces are small enough to fit through the holes in the basket, they drop down into the collection cup. Very uniform sized pieces, and it all takes only seconds. I was able to cut a large onion into six pieces and fit three at a time in the basket. Again, it only takes seconds to chop up whatever is in the basket.
The motor is housed in the top section and when everything is assembled, all you have to do is press down on the motor assembly to activate it. This makes it nice for pulsing your chops. You can hold it down if you just want the motor to run continuously. Everything disassembles quickly without having to unscrew any of the parts, they just lift apart. Rinse everything off and put it in the dishwasher on the top rack and you're done. This chopper did a really nice job on anything I threw in it. Really well made and a good solid feel. Pour wine without removing the cork by using the Coravin Model Two wine system. The durable needle pierces the cork so you can pour, and then the cork reseals when the needle is removed to preserve the remaining wine. This Coravin Model Two wine system comes with two capsules that let you pour up to 30 glasses of wine.

Great for those who love to sample wines

This is the first time I've experienced a device like this and I think it's a really cool idea. Where it really shines is if you like to have a selection of good wine available to you but don't necessarily want to drink the entire bottle. The Model 2 lets you extract wine from a bottle and when you've poured what you want, you simply remove it from the bottle and it leaves your original cork intact. This allows you to sample wine from as many different bottles as you like, or have a variety available for the mood you're in.
The device itself is nicely made and sturdy. It looks well crafted and doesn't look like just a fancy wine topper. It works by pushing a thick needle through the cork, and then with the aide of Argon gas from a small canister, slightly pressurizes the contents just enough to allow it to pour out. It's very easy to clip to the top of a bottle and pushing the needle through the cork is really effortless. When you're finished pouring, it's easy to remove and rinse clean. It looks a bit intimidating the first time you use it but when you try it once, you realize just how easy it is.
The only downside (if you could call it that), is that you need the Argon canisters to make it work. I don't know how many glasses of wine each can pour, and you get two of them with this kit. It does mean however that at some point you'll have to purchase more gas canisters. These are available from Best Buy, but currently go for about eighteen dollars for a pair.
This is a really well made device and I think it serves a great purpose for people who love to have a selection of wine available, but still want to keep it sealed with the original cork for freshness. If you like to just pull the cork on a bottle and finish it, this is probably not a device for you. It does however do what it claims and seems to do it well.

Great sound, great fit

These are honestly very cool, very good sounding ear buds. I've used a lot of different wireless buds, and I have to say, I'm never disappointed with Bose. The package does not come with a lot of documentation, but after the effortless pairing to my S8, it was easy to figure out the rest. Actually, they encourage you to download the Bose Connect app. This app gives you a quick how-to of the buttons, etc. and if you haven't already, pairs them with your phone for you.
The case/charging station that they come in is small and sturdy. You put the buds in the case, and they charge via some small connection points. Pull them out of the case and they are on and ready to go. The case also serves as a stand alone charger (if it's charged up already), meaning, when you charge the buds in the case, you're charging the battery in the case too, so you can take it with you. When the buds are inside, the case charges them.
Anyone who is a fan of Bose audio will not be disappointed. Great depth, plenty of power, clear high end. I was hoping the app had some EQ ability but alas, it does not. That's not a huge deal for these guys though, and they sounded great with my preferred music app, Power Station.
I was a bit skeptical of the fit and size. They are true wireless headphones with no cable between them. Each of the buds is separate. I used the standard set of tips that came already installed on them and they fit just fine. They were very easy to put in my ears, and they stayed in place without any re-adjusting. They never felt like they were going to fall out.
The controls are a bit awkward, only because you need to press the buttons quite firmly to engage them. There's a Bluetooth search button on the left bud, volume up and down, pause, track forward and back on the right side. The center button on the right side does triple duty for track forward, back and pause. They can also be used to receive calls. The center button is used to answer, end, mute, answer a second call, etc.. It's all in how many times you press the button or how long you press it.
I wasn't sure if I would like totally separate ear buds, but I'm sold on them now. They give your head complete freedom of movement without worrying about a cable snagging on your clothing. These have become my ear buds of choice, both for sound quality and freedom of movement.

I've been using an older set of Jaybird X headphones for years, and they have been through a lot with me. I couldn't wait to try the Freedom 2s out. These buds are absolutely fantastic. There's a lot to love about them. They feel comfortable and are easier to fit to my ears than my original Xs. The sound blows away any set of ear buds I've used in the past. Deep rich bass without sounding boomy and very crisp highs. The associated app that you can download is really a nice add on. It shows the Jaybird battery level on your phone and it has tons of EQ signatures that you can download and use with the buds. Or, if you like, you can create your own signatures and save them. Bluetooth pairing is simple and fast. The control panel buttons are a good size and have a positive tactile click. Just a well designed pair of buds.

Good basic machine

I've used and owned several Keurig's over the years. This one is basic, it doesn't have the touchscreen like the 2.0 series, but instead has a series of buttons to let you choose the size and strength of the brew. I found it to be a an easy to work machine that makes a nice hot cup of coffee. The reservoir is a bit small and you may find you're filling it up more than you like, but it does make a really good cup. It also doesn't pre-heat the water. This can be good or bad depending on your view point. On the down side, it take longer to brew a cup, and the brewing doesn't start until the water starts heating. On the up side, the coffee seems to be hotter than some of the other Keurig's I've tried. It also saves energy by not keeping the water hot and ready to go. Nice machine without a lot of bells and whistles. If you just want a no fuss Kuerig, this is a good choice for you.

Way too much noise for a high priced player

Well, I read the reviews and I thought, all those reviews that complained about noise were probably just unique cases. Not so. I don't know what the deal is with this unit playing Sony 4K discs, but it can't do it without making all kinds of noise. I don't mean a small whirring noise, I mean this thing sounds like it's going to take off. It doesn't get better as the movie plays on, and it's definitely not a noise you can just get used to because in any of the softer or all dialogue parts of a movie, you hear it. It pretty much leaves you with two choices, don't buy Sony 4K discs, or just put up with the racket. I should say that it will play regular Sony Blue-Ray discs just fine. No extra noise. But that's really not a comfort unless 4K is not what you're buying this player for (even though it's loudly advertised all over the box that it plays 4K discs).
What it does well is play Blue-Ray discs and most 4K discs just fine. The picture is clear and crisp. But really, most any 'ol Blue-Ray player on the market will do the same thing, and for less money. It has Netflix and YouTube... pretty standard also these days. It has WiFi which was very smooth to set up. And it also has a LAN port. Now that's at least something. Ports like this are getting harder to find because it's easy to just cram a wireless chip inside and call the network, “done”. I like to use LAN ports because that means it will be one less device on my already overused wireless network. That being said, it's not DLNA compatible, so forget about streaming any music, pictures or video from your network drive. Unless the drive is directly connected to the players' USB port, it will not be able to find any media on your network.
To me, this is a basic 4K, Blue-Ray player which functions adequately for a basic player (unless you want to play a Sony 4K disc). It is certainly not worth the price tag it carries, even at 50 bucks off the price (which is what it's going for). For this price I would expect full network DLNA compatibility at the very least, especially when they've gone through the trouble of adding an Ethernet port, and I would without a doubt, expect it to play ANY 4K disc I put into it without making so much noise you have to turn your receiver up to 11!

Good sound but awkward fit

I've used several sets of Bluetooth ear buds and I can tell you that these can sound really good. I'll reiterate what other reviewers have also stated and that is, you need to really take the time to get the perfect fit or these (or other similar ear buds), are not going to sound good. With that being said, I really liked the sound of these guys. Plenty of bass and a very spacious feel. Not tinny at all. Mind you, if you use the tips that are too small, you will not get good sound and you will have no bass.
It took awhile to figure out how to put these on, and even with past experience and the included drawings, it was not easy to get a good fit. These ear buds have a rather large back end on them which adds to the difficulty. They just feel too big for my ears. They do come with a really large selection of tips, although I found most of them way too small to even consider using. I ended up using the largest pair which felt too big but the next ones down were definitely too small.
The cord length is good, it doesn't bounce around and the buds stay in place (provided you use the correct size tips). The downfall of the cord length is the placement of the controls. The control panel itself is on the large side, it doesn't have a very integrated feel. But worse than that, it hangs right below your ear at the back of your head making it very awkward to use it. By the time you fumble around and find it, your hand is not in the correct position to use it comfortably, and because the cord is short, you can't drag it forward to make it feel any easier to use.
Battery life is really good and charge time is pretty short. The USB connector is on the control panel and not in one of the buds, which is fine. It's easy to find and use. Once you get the fit right, these buds sound really good, but getting to that point will take time and patience. I think a lot of the reviews about the poor sound quality come from reviewers that might not have had the proper fit. All in all, good sound but not a very comfortable fit. Even when I did get it right, I was never really sure it was correct.

You just can't beat Logitech mice

This is a well made mouse with lots of features. I've used many Logitech mice in the past and they are by far my favorite. This one is on the small side so it goes great with a laptop. The USB transmitter is the smallest I've ever seen, so it's perfect to leave installed in your portable computer. You don't have to remove it because you're worried about it breaking off. Even though it's not a big mouse, it has good weight to it. It doesn't feel light and cheap. The buttons, as always, have a great feel and a solid click. The mouse wheel is weighted and can be in either one of two different modes. You can have it click when you roll it like most mice do, or you can set it in free wheel mode which removes the click indents and allows you to spin it as fast as you can. This is great for surfing and will get you to the top or bottom of a web page in about half a second. You can also scroll left and right by pushing the wheel in either of those directions. There's also two buttons by your thumb that are great for going to the last or next web page. There's also a center button. All the buttons can be user configured and the downloaded Logitech app is easy and intuitive to use. This mouse is rechargeable and comes with a USB charging cable so you get everything you need. Very precision mousing without any slop, no matter what surface you're on. I do a lot of graphics development, and spend hours on my machine. This mouse feels comfortable the entire time and does a good job of becoming an extension of your hand, like it should. A great mouse for casual to professional users.

Sharp look and really good sound

Up until this point I had never heard of the Nyne brand but after listening to this guy, I'm really glad I found them. This is a really nice rugged looking portable speaker system. It has a lot of connection possibilities and even comes with a power supply that has multiple AC adapters for various countries. First off, I turned it on and paired it with my phone in all of about 20 seconds. Really nice. It has Bluetooth and NFC connections. Then it was just a matter of opening up my phones music player and and finding a song. Plenty of power with this speaker, and a good amount of bass. One of the best sounding portables I've heard.
There is a small panel on the back that flips down to allow access to the ports. It comes with a USB port for charging your phone (although it's only a 1A power connection), an audio in and an audio out jack so that you can plug your phone into it using your headphone jack. You can also plug the output from the Rebel into an input jack on a receiver if you want to use it that way. This allows you to stream music to the Rebel and it will output it to your stereo. It even comes with a good quality cable so you don't need to hunt one down. Or you can plug in a microphone. There is also a row of indicator lights that show you the charge level of the battery. Really nice layout and enough jacks to let you connect it to just about anything you want.
The housing is water resistant and has a cool design with a built in handle. Very easy to just grab it and go. It has a nice flat black appearance and a wedge shape. The external buttons are nicely laid out and large enough to actually see what they do. They even light up while the unit is on, so you can always find the button you're looking for without any trouble. All the other mobile speakers I've used end up having buttons that are so tiny it's next to impossible to find the one you want. Really nice to find a company that understands this is an important feature! This is a really nice sounding speaker with plenty of power, plenty of connection possibilities and a great look. Glad I took a chance on Nyne.

Works better than I expected

I've always wanted a robot vacuum cleaner and this one has lived up to all the hype. To begin with, this vacuum has great suction. It really picks up well and I have never noticed anything left on the floor that it didn't pick up. Cleaning the dust cup is fast and very easy. There are several different modes of operation that allow it to be used as you need it. The auto mode is standard one we use, and works very well. You can also use the spot cleaning method to do a quick clean-up of a spill and guide it by pointing the remote to show it where to clean. The third method is where you just basically drive it around and show it where to clean.
The POWERbot itself is well designed and low enough to fit under most (not all) furniture. There seems to be a trade off in robot vacuums where if they are very thin, then they don't clean well and if they have a really good suction, then they are a bit taller. This one works well for us even though it can't fit under our sofa. I look at this as a tool to keep the house vacuumed and free of dust. But I don't expect it to replace my upright vacuum or my own good thorough cleaning. This guy is great at the maintenance cleaning though, and does a remarkably good job of getting into corners and under the front edge of kitchen cabinets. It is thin enough to get under a lot of furniture and it surprised me with how methodical it is when cleaning.
Our house is on the smaller side and so we have a lot of obstacles for it to maneuver around. It does very well with avoiding things and is very tenacious about visiting as much of the floor as it possibly can. It works very well on hardwood floors but is also surprisingly adept at carpeted floors as well. The drive wheels are well designed and it can get good traction on both. I've watched it get itself into some sticky situations and thought that I would have to rescue it, but it works out a way to free itself every time. The one downside (if it could be called that) is with light weight bathroom rugs. It can get stuck with these. But these are very tough to vacuum for anyone so I don't really consider it a con. I just pick them up and shake them out over the floor before I turn the bot loose and it picks up everything.
We don't have a pet but we have had them in the past and the amount of hair they shed is hard to keep up with. I would highly recommend this to anyone that does have pets. You could run it every day when you're not home and come home to a clean house.

I bought this after reading a positive review in a leading consumer magazine. It comes with an impressive number of accessories but the suction is weak. It would not even vacuum up bits of grass on my doormat. I returned it and bought the portable Dyson instead. Night and day difference.

Can you install a full version of microsoft office on the Slate 21?
No. You can only install Android apps. MS Office is available in a mobile edition though, and can be found on the Google Play store. It also comes with Kingsoft office pre-installed which is a nice mobile Office-like app that allows you to do a lot of the things that you would using Office.

Keyboard / mouse required? And multi-tasking
Are the keyboard and mouse required for the Slate 21? Or can we just use it as a tablet device with onscreen keyboard if need be?
Also, can it multi-task, meaning run two apps simultaneously for instance, netflix on one side of the screen and chrome on the other?

The keyboard and mouse are not required. We use ours without them.
As far as multitasking several apps at once, no. So far that's a bit of a reach for an Android machine.
