I feel so very sorry for this game. Why? Because this is a great game, people just don't know about it. Even I didn't know about it until I played 60 min demo through Playstation Network (also available on 360). In demo they allow you to play through a whole "dungeon" (a huge level). Once I played it, I liked it so much that I had to play the whole game. Now that I have finished the game once, here is what I think about it.
Pros.
CREATIVELY DESIGNED WORLD: The thing that I liked the most about this game is it consists of 6 huge "dungeons" (huge stages like in Zelda games) connected with by a even bigger open world. Each of these dungeons is very creatively designed with plenty of puzzles (don't worry not boring ones). They can very from greenery filled open fields, destroyed towns, beautiful swamps, gothic towers, magma caves, deserts and more. Such variety in stages really encourages you to explore more and move forward in the game so you can unlock more stages. Just loved it.
TONS OF WEAPONS: You start out with just a sword, but then you can purchase, find and unlock A LOT MORE short, mid and long rage weapons as you progress in the game (such as deadly scythe, gauntlet, revolver etc.). Furthermore, anything you see lying on the ground can also be used as weapon (Cars, pipe etc.). Also, certain weapons such as shuriken can target multiple enemies and objects. Their creative use is a MUST to progress through the game. All of these weapons can be leveled up and customized (by use or purchase) which adds a great RPG element to this game.
INTRIGUING GADGETS: Other than weapons you will also obtain variety of gadgets in this game. Some of these gadgets are horn, grapple chain and a HORSE (YES THERE IS HORSE RIDE IN THIS GAME). There are some cooler gadgets that are unlocked toward end. Really don't want to spoil it for you, but if you want a hint look at the title of this review. Creative use of gadget is required to progress through the game.
INTIMIDATING BOSSES: Each dungeon has a mini bosses and when you get through the whole dungeon, you are presented with very imaginatively designed MAJOR BOSS. Let me tell you one thing. These bosses are no push over. Beating them takes combination of skills and creative thinking. I personally enjoyed battle with each of them (almost all of them, except one).
DIVERSITY IN ENEMIES: A lot of heck and slash these days have the same looking enemies from the beginning to the end. Fortunately, this game offers variety of different enemies. When I speak diversity, I am not taking about size, shape and color, but also strategy required to beat them. If you just go around button mashing, you won't go anywhere. A lot of these enemies require you to dodge, block and perform certain stunts (for example light your shuriken with fire and then hit them with it) to critically hit them.
FANTASY NOVEL LIKE STORY: While all may not enjoy it, this game has a deep, unique and suspenseful novel like story. You have angles, demons, guardians and what not. I would describe more, but don't want to spoil it for you.
AWESOME VOICE ACTING: While the central character is a bit dry (for a reason), all the others have done wonderful job (especially a character that is your colleague). I don't know the particular names, but some Hollywood grade actors are doing voice acting, so you won't be disappointed in this area.
CONS:
FEELS LOW BUDGET AT POINTS: While the most of the game looks gorgeous because it is competing with games such as God of War 3, at points it will feel cheap. However, don't get me wrong, for most part it will amaze you.
DIAPPOINTED BY FINAL BOSS: While all the other bosses are SPECTACULAR, the final boss was somewhat disappointing. I truly can't tell you much without spoiling.
GOOD STUFF IN THE END: I am talking about gadgets. Some of the best gadgets are given to you in the very end. I truly wish I could have had them earlier.
CONCLUSION:
Contrary to minor cons, this game has a lot to offer as it takes the best games out of popular games such as Zelda, Devil May Cry, God of War and Portal (YES PORTAL). I totally thought it was worth the price so at very least you should at least give it a try.
What's great about it: Open world, gadgets, weapons, bosses
What's not so great: very underrated
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better than first but....

Before I played Mass Effect, I absolutely had no idea what it was all about. I played Mass Effect 1 and contrary to some glitches and tedious gameplay elements, IT LITERALLY BLEW MY MIND. So to me Mass Effect 2 was a MUST. I have played it twice now and here is what I think.
PROS.
WELL DESIGNED CHOICE/KARMA GAMEPLAY: Just like Mass Effect 1, this game has wonderful cause-effect gameplay. Throughout the games you will have to make many choices and this choices will have major effect on your character development and on the story. Depending on your choices your character can be renegade, paragon or someone in between. Unlike Mass Effect 1, these choices will many times be imposed upon you. In other words, you will just be exploring the open world and all of the sudden, the main story interrupts you and will make you make difficult decisions. To me, this was amazing. This on the spot make choice plot makes the story so much more real, relevant and impactive. Furthermore, other than dialogue, even during the cutscenes you can perform paragon/renegade type of action. This experience was simply mind-blowing to me.
BETTER RUNNING GAMEPLAY AND SMOOTH CRISPY CLEAR GRAPHICS: To me Mass Effect 1 was great, but it had a bit choppy graphics and glitch gameplay. They have fixed it up big times in Mass Effect 2. (Don't get me wrong there are still glitches see CONS section). When I first saw the Mass Effect 2 footage in HD on my 360, my eyes simply couldn't believe it. Trust me, you will have no complain here in this department.
AWESOME COMBAT MECHANICS: Compared to 1, they greatly improved combat system in this game. It feels smoother, you can perform different moves easier and most importantly, combination you can use with your team/allies is just unbelievable. You have more classes to choose from compared to first and I just LOVED VANGUARD AND SENTINEL CLASSES. You will love the powers you will get to use. Oh did I mention, you can also choose from your allies special powers.
PLENTY OF ALLIES AND LOYALTY MISSIONS: There are so many different allies you can acquire and choose from in this game. Acquiring each ally is a mission. Plus, if you want your ally to become loyal to you, there will be a separate mission. Once they become loyal, you can unlock their special power and it will also have a huge impact on the story. Now the question is can you make everyone loyal to you? I will just let you find out. While it is possible, unless you make the right choices, it will be difficult.
NEW WEAPONS AND POWERS: Loved the VANGUARD and SENTINEL class provided biotic and tech powers. Also, some of the heavy weapons were pretty cool. Also liked how you could upgrade your weapons and powers by research and alloy discoveries.
PRETTY GOOD STORY: Not as good as the first one, but this game still does have a pretty good story. While the creators have done a wonderful job with stories for each ally character, the central story is somewhat straightforward. However, they are also setting this game for a sequel (not a spoiler, it has been known for ages now), so that might be the reason the story is the way it is (really don't want to spoil it for you).
OPEN WORLD GAMEPLAY: Just like first one you are free to explore galaxy and go where ever you want to go, do what ever you want to do first. Story will impose upon you as stated before, but again it will only make the experience more real. I love the way they have hidden the missions in open world exploration.
BETTER ACHIEVEMENTS: Mass Effect 1 achievement kinda force you to do things you may not want to do (for example keep the same ally through out the game, become a perfect paragon or renegade, etc.). In this game, the way achievement system is set up, it will make you explore more and experiment more.
VARIETY IN BOSSES AND ENEMIES: Loved how most of the missions include a boss. While few of them are pushovers, most of them will provide you with decent challenge. Furthermore, compared to Mass Effect 1, there is greater variety of enemies and eliminating them will require you to different strategies and powers. This will prevent the gameplay from being redundant.
FREE DLCs: There are some awesome free downloadable content for this game. Some of them should have been released with the game (see cons.)
CONS.
LESS EXPLORATION: There are a lot of story based mission and ally based loyalty missions; however, there are amazingly few side missions. (Don't get me wrong, the game will still take a while finish. My first finish was 45 hrs when I decided to explore everything). And these side missions are ridiculously short and straight forward.
NO VEHICLE: What the hell? After you download a DLC, there are four or five vehicle based missions; however, the game doesn't have vehicle based exploration. I agree climbing rocks and hills with space vehicle was torturous at times in Mass Effect 1, but still there were many planets where it was fun. Why remove that?
DIMINISHED RPG ELEMENT: Mass Effect 1 kinda had convoluted level up system(if you do manually) and tedious weapon upgrade/achieve system. They improved that in Mass Effect 2 by making it extremely simple. Now you no longer have much choices when it comes to guns. Your choice of power can be maxed in no time (you will still have hard time maxing multiple powers/traits). And experience is mainly give at the end of the mission vs experience you gained by doing each and every single action/ killing each and every enemy in Mass Effect 1. The system did feel a bit more organized and easy to use, but I kinda miss Mass Effect 1 RPG element.
So contrary to minor issues I mentioned in CONS., they have GREATLY IMPROVED THE GAME. If you liked Mass Effect 1, if you like RPG, if you like space/sci fy genre, YOU MUST NOT MISS OUT ON THIS ONE. You will love it.
What's great about it: great action, great missions, better graphics
What's not so great: no vehicle like the first game.

AMAZING BATTLE SYSTEM
on September 19, 2010

So far I have played Final Fantasy 7, 10 and 12 and have liked all of them. With all of the hype going on around Final Fantasy 13, I decided to give this one a try and here is what I thought.
PROS.
PARADIGM COMBAT SYSTEM: This game utilizes unique turn based combat system. To me, this combat system was the BEST ASPECT of the game. In Final fantasy games so far (other than 12), you have to do each action such as attack, healing, magic one by one by one. This game gives you option to do that or you can have "auto battle" mode where things are taken care for you. So the enemies you want to deal with "personally" you can combat them yourselves, but then you are not stuck hitting same command again and again for each fight you do in the game. Think of it this way, in other final fantasies, you are acting as individual soldiers while in this game you are mainly acting as commander. So instead of controlling each of the party member's action individually, you can set up a "paradigm" where you can focus more on physical or magical or healing or combination of these actions. At first you will find it a bit puzzling but once you get it, you will most likely love it.
STAGGERING ENEMIES: To win a battle, you have to punish an enemy (or enemies) up to the point that they "stagger". At this point, the enemy will take a lot more damage and is less likely to attack. While it is not necessary to stagger an enemy to defeat it, for most game, you will find it difficult to defeat enemies without staggering them. So what is so special about staggering enemies? In order to stagger them in most cases you will have to use variety of paradigms and will have to come up with different strategies. Again, in the beginning you may find this difficult to understand, but once you get it, it gets to be quite fun.
VARIETY OF BOSSES AND ENEMIES: Yup, there is great variety of enemies and different bosses in this game (as expected of "final fantasy"). Before you finish the game, you will have defeat quite a few different enemies and bosses and to defeat them you will have to use different strategies. While most enemies you may find it pretty straightforward to beat (especially in the beginning of the game), many later on enemies and bosses will be quite difficult until you figure out the right strategy. But don't worry there are ways to defeat them and you will find these challenges fun rather than frustrating.
CRYSTAL LEVELING UP SYSTEM: This game has similar leveling up system as Final Fantasy 10. Defeating each enemies gives you points and then you use these points to level up different characters. The difference is you can level up a character in different direction (i.e. you can make a character better at magic, physical attacks, healing, sabotaging enemies, etc.) Each character will have 3 specialty areas and later on you can develop the character in all 6 different classes. Pretty addicting if you ask me.
TONS OF SIDEQUEST BOSSES: So it takes a while to get up to this point, but once the open world portion of the game begins, there are tons of (>60) mini and major bosses to beat in the game. There is this portion called TITAN CHALLENGE (won't spoil much) which is very interesting. Here you will have to defeat a series of enemies in certain way. I liked it.
SPECTACULAR SUMMONS: In this game each character gets a cool summon. While you don't have control over when you can obtain it, in order obtain them you have to beat them. LOVED IT. Once you obtain them you get to use their awesome powers and most importantly limit breaks. This has been my favorite part in many of the final fantasy game and just like previous final fantasies, this game has delivered them nicely.
BEAUTIFUL AND ELEGANT FANTASY WORLD: The creation of Cocoon and Pulse are just mind blowing. Everything in these worlds is very elegantly designed. If you look carefully designers have truly given attention to details. Loved just loved each and every level.
WEIRD BUT UNDERSTANDABLE STORY: Really can't tell you much without spoiling it, but like in many Japanese games, this one also has a very strange, but unique story with a great underlying theme.
WEAPON AND ARMAMENT LEVELING UP: I am happy in addition to character they also have weapon leveling up in this game. To level up your weapon though you have to collect and use different items in a unique manner. For example, certain weapons can only be leveled up to level 11; however, if you obtain these unique item you can break that limit and level it up even further turning it into a completely different weapon. If you like this type of stuff the game will keep you occupy for a LONG TIME.
CONS
LACK OF CONTROL OVER BATTLE TEAM: As described in pros, you have to design specific paradims and you can use them in the battle to your liking. However, these combination are not limitless. In other words, you won't be able to control all three of the party members in the exact manner you want to. For example, with characters A,B, and C, I want both characters A and B to attack the same enemies with physical attacks, I don't have that option. Also if I want to revive character B before healing character C that is also not an option (unless the character I control is the healer). While it seems like a major issue, it really is not. There is not a single enemy you won't be able to beat due to this problem.
WHINY CHARACTERS: Ever since Final Fantasy 10, they have been having so many whiny characters in these games. Hate it, just hate it. Good thing is whiny character in this game will only whine for first quarter of the game. Also, what Japanese people and Westerners find "awesome" and "funny" are quite different. Some dialogues that Japanese may find awesome will simply sound lame to us. So that is also a problem in this game.
CONCLUSION
Contrary to the cons I described, this is a great game. Battle System, leveling up and hunt for different bosses and items will keep you busy and entertained for a long time. With side quests, it has taken me about 84 hours and I am still not quite done. With lowered prices, I would say this is a MUST OWN game.
What's great about it: battle system, length, sidequests, bosses
What's not so great: whiny characters

VERY CINEMATIC

Loved the Metroid Prime Trilogy on Wii. So I decided to give this one a shot. Here is what I thought.
PROS.
BEAUTIFUL GRAPHICS: This game undoubtedly is the best looking Wii game (next to Super Mario Galaxy 2 I guess). While wii games are not rendered graphically top notch in general, this game changes that trend. Played it on my 1080p HDTV with component cable and the game looks gorgeous. Cutscenes in the game look no different than average PS3/360 games. While in game pictures has rough edges, they still look amazing.
MARVELOUS 3rd PERSON GAMEPLAY: Metroid PRIME games has been great as shooter, so I was curious how Team Ninja develop this intp 3rd person action games. To my surprise they have done a great job. While game is still a shooter for most part, it has plenty of other cool 3rd person action such as dodging and physical combat by Samus. All of these actions work great to best of my knowledge. In addition to that you are given plenty of other moves through gadgets which will be described below.
DEVASTATING WEAPONS AND INGENIOUS GADGETS: Just like previous metroid games you will have access for different beams and gadgets. As for beams your beam will automatically get upgraded as you progress in the game (no choosing between beam like prime series). And of course you will have also have missiles, chargeshot, supermissles, morphbomb and ALMIGHTY powerbomb. In addition to these weapons you will have access to cool gadgets such as morph ball ability, grapple beam, charged running and jumping, spacejump, screwattack . So plenty to look forward to in this department. Oh did I mention just like previous game, there are plenty of HIDDEN UPGRADES.
VARIETY OF ENEMIES AND BOSSES: Just like previous metroid gams, this one has plenty of enemies and bosses. Where things get interesting is how you can defeat them. Of course you will have to use all of the weapons and gadgets creatively to defeat these enemies effectively while making use of dodge ability. Now once you wear enemy down you can deal devastating blow to them with finishing move provided (thanks to TEAM NINJA). This is where game gets very CINEMATIC. I HAVE JUST LOVED defeating different enemies with these moves. ESPECIALLY BOSSES. Don't want to spoil it, but METROID FANS be ready for some surprises in terms of bosses ( YOU ARE GOING TO SEE SOME FAMILIAR FACES :)
DECENT STORY AND GREAT CUTSCENES: Really can't tell you much without spoiling, but as mentioned above, cutscenes look gorgeous whether they depicting fights or sentimental story about the main character Samus Aran. First game where Samus talk. Voice acting is not bad either.
PICTURE AND VIDEO GALARY: Finishing game will allow you access to picture and video galary which allow you to see pics and cutscene videos from the game. This is something I loved as you don't have to play the whole game all over again just because you want to see some cutscene. BEST PART IS the cutscenes will also include in game footage. So say you are watching cutscene for a boss fight, it will have cutscene + footage of boss fight game play. JUST AWESOME.
ADDITIONAL GAMEPLAY FOR COMPLETIONISTS: You won't be able to collect 100% of the items before you beat final story boss. ONLY after you beat final story boss, you will be able to collect 100% of the items and FIGHT ANOTHER BIG..... (Sorry don't want to spoil).
CONS:
ANNOYING JUMPS: Some jumps are annoying to complete just like previous game (especially to get some items).
CAN GET STUCK: Campaign is not straightforward. There are parts where you can get stuck if you don't think outside of the box (more description below). In other words you will be confused where to go and what to do.
FIRST PERSON/THIRD PERSON THROUGH WII MOTE: This was my BIGGEST PROBLEM. If you want to get into first person to 3rd person you have to rotate wii mote 90 horizontally and if you want to replenish your missiles and some of your health you have to rotate wii mote vertically 90. This work great for most part, but at times can give you SERIOUS PROBLEMS. Wii motion sensor is good, but not as good to sense these movement 100% of the time, PLUS YOU AS A USER CAN ALSO MAKE MISTAKE. So your character won't behave exactly how you want to. Honestly if they had just made use of nunchuck things would have been better. There are also some areas (especially for many hidden items) where if you don't look through first person you will never figure out the location of new path (whether it is for story or for the item).
CONCLUSION:
Contrary to the cons I described, the game is GREAT. It looks great and plays great. After you are done with the main story, GO AFTER THE SIDE STORY. After you are done with side story and 100% collection, play on the hard mode or WATCH AWESOME VIDEOS. A MUST BUY FOR METROID FANS.
What's great about it: Action and cutscenes
What's not so great: hard to find hidden items without guide

Why are people so disappointed?

I did not buy this game on the day of its release, as so many people were complaining Bioshock series lost its magic in Bioshock 2. The Rapture city doesn't feel as novel anymore. But now that I have played through with it TWICE, I have to say these folks were dead wrong. Yes, the city, some of the villians and gameplay are similar, but that is why this game is labeled Bioshock 2 and not a new IP. Either way below are the pros and cons for the Bioshock2
PROS:
-CHOICES, CHOICES, CHOICES: One of the aspects, gamers loved about the original is how you have to make choices in terms of litter sister throughout the game and how it affects the ending. In this one, they have taken a step further and improved this choice system. Not only for little sisters, but also for some other things you will have to make choices. This choices will affect the story (dialogues, cut scenes and ending) to a great degree and add decent replayability to the single player mode.
-MYSTERIOUS STORY: The story is suspenseful. It is not as good as the first one, but is still pretty good and will really drive you forward in the game. If you played Bioshock 1, it is certainly a plus; however, certainly not a requirement. Even if you did not play the original, you will be able to understand most of it.
-AMAZING UNDERWATER VISUAL ANG GRAPHICS: The city looks as stunning if not better as Bioshock 1. Better yet in this one you get to play UNDERWATER. While it may not sound as thrilling it truly adds great deal of feeling to the gameplay experience.
-PLAYING AS BIG DADDY: Initially you will be somewhat confused, but this gets to be real fun. You can still use plasmids as in the original, but you get access to heavy duty weapons as you are playing as big daddy. I won't spoil much for you but YOU WILL LOVE THE SPEAR GUN :)
-NEW WEAPONS, PLASMIDS and TONICS: In this game, you get access to all the cool plasmids from the original, but you also get to use some new mysterious plasmids and tonics. Expecially, if you decide to go for good ending, you will get some really cool plasmids. As for weapons, you will just love the big guns. Trust me on it.
-NEW ENEMIES and BOSSES: I don't want to spoil it so I will just say big sisters will make you wet your pants.
-FOUR ALTERNATE ENDINGS: Again refer to choices section
-EPIC MULTIPLAYER: This game offers a very unique multiplayer. It was a wonderful break from games like Modern Warfare 2. The modes such as capture the little sisters can be fun. Just wait till you play as a Big Daddy. The power you get will truly be intoxicating. Oh did I mention you can use very different plasmids than single player in multiplayer mode.
My only complain for this one was instead of focusing on multiplayer, they should have just focused on single player and made it longer. Don't get me wrong , it will still take you a while to go through it (8-12hrs depending on how much you decide to collect).
In summary, to me, Bioshock 2 lived up to the standards. It was enjoyable and has great replay value.
What's great about it: Plasmids and weapons, Story
What's not so great: citi design very similar to the first game

WOW just WOW. I feel so bad for this game. It is so poorly advertised. When I watched the commercial for this game near its launch, it felt like a very redundant game. Hateful lies by the 360 fanboys did not help either. Nonetheless, this game received pretty good reviews from many different sites and with price lowering to $30, felt obligated to give it a try.
Only after playing 4-6 hours into this game, I became of the variety it has to offer. I loved the game so much that after finishing the game, I felt obligated to finish it again. Why?
Because in this game you can power up as a good or bad person. And your choices give your powers distinctive characteristics. An example, both as good and as a bad guy you can use power granade. But as a good guy your granade can trap enemies, but as an evil person it split into mini granades which cover more area and do more damage. This is only the tip of the iceburg. I think there are at least 6 different electric powers that have different good and bad characteristics and then there are 7 other powers which are shared between good and bad, but are still awesome none the less.
Also your choices also affect the events in the story and of course the final outcome. To begin with this game has AN AWESOME STORY and having such variation with good and bad powers will make you play the game again to learn the flip side of the story.
Also you have different missions as a good and bad guys. AND BELIEVE ME completing these mission will have huge impact on your story and make things very interesting. Being good and evil not only affect the story, but also how people treat you in the open world of this game. For example, being good with make things slightly difficult in the beginning, but as people love you, they will help you out towards the end. If you are bad guy, YOU WILL HAVE THE MOST DESTRUCTIVE POWERS, but people will be hostile towards you making the game harder towards the end.
Needless to say this game has SMOOTH GRAPHICS and AWESOME OPEN WORLD gameplay. What you won't expect is VARIETY IN POWER, MISSIONS, ENEMIES and MOST IMPORTANTLY AWESOME JUST AWESOME BOSSES.
With the lowered price and FREE GIGABLADES download, THIS IS A MUST OWN GAME.
What's great about it: Good and Evil powers and replayability
What's not so great: small glitches
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I played the first Metroid prime (~80%) on game cube and loved it. Back then I gave up on this game as I could not solve the last riddle and was not familiar with online strategy guides.
Since Prime series came out as Trilogy on Wii, I feld obligated to give it another shot and here is what I experienced.
----------------------------METROID PRIME 1--------------------------------------------------
PROS.
-BLOW JOUR MIND: The environment, the scene and the experience you get through them is just amazing. I still can't believe that they created such effect using gamecube technology. JUST MARVELOUS.
-Gadgets: Different beams, missles upgrades, suit upgrades, double jump, powerbomb, combo attack, morphball upgrades, grapple beam. JUST AMAZING.
-Story: This is what I like. For those who don't care much about the story, you don't have to read it all. But to those who do, everything will be explained in the FINEST DETAILS. VERY WELL DONE.
-Bosses: Again very creative. The final battles are probably THE MOST CREATIVE in the trilogy.
-Length: Areas are fairly huge. If you go after majority of items which is highly recommended as final bosses can be tough, it will take you a while to explore them all.
-Bonuses: More you explore, more endings you get to uncover. EXTREMELY REWARDING EXPERIENCE.
CONS.
- LOTS OF BACKTRACKING: Without a guide, this can be really irritating. Even with a guide, I hated how you have to back track a lot of areas in the ending.
- Annoying double jumps: Some upgrades require morphball double jumps. Failure to do so will punish you (harshly at times.
-Too many words: Story is really good, but I wish they had more cut scenes.
----------------------------METROID PRIME 2--------------------------------------------------
PROS.
-COOLER THAN THE 1st GAME: The environment, the sceneries, the characters and theme are darker than the first game (and by that I don't mean they are black in color, they are more shady, the tone is a bit more serious).
-Gadgets: Cooler beams, awesome visors (actually useful in this one), missles, powerbombs, grapplebeam, PLUS MOST IMPORTANTLY YOU HAVE SCREW ATTACK. JUST LOVE IT.
-Bosses: While final fight was not as great as 1st (Still pretty good), the rest of the bosses are THE BEST IN THE TRILOGY. I mean the first time you encounter dark Samus is just EPIC. And other bosses especially in the dark world are very fun.
-Length: Greater thanks to dark world
-Bonuses: same is first
CONS.
-Same as first, LOTS OF BACKTRACKING, ANNOYING DOUBLE JUMPS, OTHER DIFFICULT MANEUVERS and TOO MANY WORDS
-Dark world is a wonderful creation, but as you lose health while playing in it causes constant stress in your mind and can make the experience torturous in the beginning. Don't worry, towards the end you get upgrades to counter it.
----------------------------METROID PRIME 3--------------------------------------------------
PROS.
-A WHOLE DIFFERENT VIBE: While the first two game are mainly solo mission where don't get to interact that much with other living beings, this one is completely opposite. This game has quite a few interesting characters with awesome abilities (Unfortunately not playable though)
-Gadgets: Again newer beams and other goodies.
-Hypermode: LOVE IT. New and most welcome addition. Don't want to spoil it for you.
-YOUR SHIP IS ACTUALLY USEFUL: HA HA play to find it out.
-Very Creative use of Wii mote: Yup. You will be using wii mote in different ways to perform different actions. I liked it.
-Bosses: They are good. I like their abilities more than the fights themselves. Like in 1st and 2nd, you can't just shoot them to kill them, you'll have to use your nugget.
-Length: Only slightly longer than the first (definitely shorter than second)
-Bonuses: Same as first two (Love the 100% ending though.
CONS.
-Same as first two, LOTS OF BACKTRACKING, ANNOYING DOUBLE JUMPS (most annoying of trilogy, horrible), TOO MANY WORDS
-NO POWER-BOMB and NO COMBO SHOT ...... WHAT THE HELL???
-Not that Metroid games are that adult, but this one felt a bit childish, art style is bit cartoonish
-Easy to miss USING AN UPGRADE: Upgrades in this game are very useful, but if you are not reading their details, you won't utilize them fully making the experience dull. HIGHLY RECOMMEND USE GUIDE OR EXPLORE YOUR ABILITIES A LOT
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Common Conclusion:
-Even with Wii's inferior technology, the graphics are updated (look pretty good on my HDTV).
-The use of wii mote makes shooting and other actions easier and fun (While making few actions difficult and annoying).
-As for the trilogy itself, it's pretty amazing. While all three games do have some setbacks as described above PROS OUTWEIGHS CONS BY A HUGE MARGIN SO BUT IT AND HAVE ~50-80 HOURS WORTH OF BLAST.
YOU WILL NOT REGRET BUYING THIS ONE.
What's great about it: ~50-80 hours worth of fun
What's not so great: Backtracking and need for use of guide

An Installment Not a game

I am a HUGE fan of Halo series and therefore I also have great expectations from it. Compare to games (shooters mainly) that come out these days, Halo ODST was a pretty good game; however, IT DIDNOT LIVE UP TO THE EXPECTATIONS.
PROS:
-INTERESTING MODE ON CAMPAIGN: Campaign is different than what you have experienced in Halo 1-3. As you know master chief is not the main character, but instead it is the ODST special squad troop(s). The way they have conveyed the story provides you with a unique experience. Unfortunately, I can't describe it more without spoiling it so I will stop here.
-ONLINE FIREFLIGHT MODE: This to me was the biggest reason to buy the game. However, you can only make full use of it if you have friends on Xbox live. You and your friends competing against hordes of enemies can be really fun. And enemies in Halo games as we know have the BEST AI. Love it just love it.
-GREAT GRAPHICS: Like Halo 3 it has pretty awesome graphics so not much to talk about here.
-FEW NEW WEAPONS: Loved the missle launcher. Keep them coming.
CONS:
-VERY WEAK STORY: The story frankly was very unsatisfying (EVEN AFTER UNLOCKING ALL THE MESSAGES). Again, can't describe without spoiling the content. The ending was simply HORRIBLE (Both the last fight and the story ending)
-VERY WEAK CHARACTERS: I am not talking weak as if they are not Spartans like Master Chief and so they are weak. The voice acting was horrible. Master Chief speaks less, but he makes his words count. These human characters just felt stupid and their dialogues were very POORLY WRITTEN. Terrible voice acting didn't help either..
-NO DUAL WEAPONS: WHAT THE HELL????
-ONLINE MODE SAME AS HALO3: This actually leads me to my concluding remark.
I truly think ODST was initially designed as an expansion pack for Halo 3, but I think they wanted to milk the Halo franchise so they sold it for $60 by adding few useless stuff. Each installment of Halo came with awesome new stuff, ODST on the other hand was A SMALL STEP BACK.
I would give it less stars, but got it for $30 on a special deal which I think is a good price for this HALO 3 INSTALLMENT.
What's great about it: Fireflight
What's not so great: Story

This is a very unique game. You don't just go around and beat everyone. If you have seen recent batman movies, that is the type of experience you will get playing this game.
It has element of stealth, use of cool gadgets and awesome takedowns. And graphics.... JUST WOW. I don't even have to convince anybody one that. Plus, I also liked the story. The only setback I see, you have to like Batman and the way he takes care of business to like this game.
Briefly,
Pros.
-Awesome Graphics.
-Great story
-A true Batman game
-Great gadgets
-Love the stealth elements
-Awesome Batman bosses
-Decent duration (especially if you go after Riddler's puzzles)
-variety of gameplay(stealth, fights, puzzles, gadgets etc)
-A great experience overall
Cons
-You have to be a Batman fan to enjoy the game to its true extent
-Beating the thugs can get a bit redundant
A must buy
What's great about it: A true batman game
What's not so great: Intended for younger audience

USED TO BE A HATER

YES, regardless what people say I HATE THE FIRST ASSASSIN'S CREED. EXTREMELY REDUNDANT AND UNREWARDING. Yes, I uncovered all the secret emails and even then I found the story to be horrible. JUST HORRIBLE.
Anyhow last year AC2 comes out. I hear that they made massive improvements. Six months pass its release price is reduced by half and I had a gift card. So I decide to give it a second chance.
I have to say I am quite impressed by AC2. Why?
- MUCH BETTER PRESENTATION.
The game does a very good job in terms of explaining the character development while putting you in the front seat. Unlike 1st one it is not like you just go kill and get an upgrade, go kill and get an upgrade. The game takes you through so many events, each contributes to your motive, your thinking and your ambition as a character.
-VARIETY OF WEAPONS AND GADGETS
As you may have seen in the commercial, this game features Leonardo de Vinchi. This genius will make you some really cool weapons and gadgets (double hidden blades, poison blade, pistol, flying machine etc.).
-THE ELEMENT OF CURRENCY
Having monetary system in this type of open world game truly adds motives to the different activities in the game. You want to upgrade your weapons, your fort, well you need money. How can you get money? By performing variety of actions, such as stealing, assassination, beating up cheating husbands, investments (YES INVESTMENTS AS IN BANKING INVESTMENTS), racing etc. etc. NOW THIS IS WHAT I CALL VARIETY. In the 1st Assassins Creed it was just like steal document, evedrop or collect flag which was pretty boring. Like first many of these events are OPTIONAL. So that is a HUGE PLUS. If you don't want to waste time feebling minor things. You have options to do so.
-VERY INTERSTING MAJOR SIDE MISSIONS
Won't spoil, but there are two major secret items you can uncover by exploring very nicely designed HUGE SECRET AREAS and PUZZLES.
-YOU CAN ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND THE STORY
Hated the first one. You could understand why you needed to kill people, but could not connect the dots as clearly as you can in this one. LOTS OF LOTS OF EXPLANATIONS PROVIDED should you be interested.
-GREAT MUSIC and DECENT FACIAL MOVEMENTS AND VOICE ACTING
pretty self explanatory.
For $30, I would say it is a MUST BUY.
What's great about it: Way better than first one
What's not so great: still few annoying missions
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Halo Reach Game
By BigC561 from Laredo,Texas
This game is perfect i played the Beta and it was fun I've seen the forge trailer and how Bungie explains the forge part and it sounded pretty easy and fun because you can make objects float change color and make them go in the mountain or go inside other objects.......What i think you people should do is wait until the game is cheaper or if you want the special edition ones get it then.I would rather you all get the game itself.Overall this game is the best ,some people say there is a level like Star wars Battlefront the game.Who knows...
