Gorgeous graphics and amazing gameplay

Never played this game on the Nintendo platform but heard great things about it. Seeing great artwork and action in the trailer, I purchased this game and here is what I think about it.
*********************************************************************PROS*********************************************************************
-Most gorgeous art/graphics and music: Just as you see in the trailers, this game has one of the best artworks I have ever seen. In this game your two characters will travel to many different places and these places are very well designed. The graphics are pretty amazing and they go very well the incredible music of this game. While fighting if your sword breaks, it will produce this amazing visual and sound effect making it very believable.
-Great action gameplay: In this 2D side scroller, there are tons and tons of moves you can pull using your sword combos. Using them to defeat different enemies and bosses is quite fun. But again you can't just swing recklessly as your swords will break unless you sheath and heal them time to time.
-Tons and tons of swords: Each sword comes with different moves and special moves. Again great to use against bosses and enemies. The swords you get towards the end are the most awesome ones.
-The bosses: This was one of the main factors that kept me pushing forward. The boss fights are simply amazing. They were all incredible but my favorite one was the mountain demon fight.
-Interesting story: Both of the characters have unique background and story. The curiosity to investigate more about what has happened and what will happen will drive you to go forward.
-Length: Between two characters and multiple endings, this game took me 80+ hours. Definitely worth the money.
-Multiple story endings: As mentioned before, both characters have multiple endings. Definitely worth unlocking.
*********************************************************************CONS*********************************************************************
-Backtracking: While there is not a lot of it, it definitely can get annoying to go back to a few places to finish some side missions.
*********************************************************************CONCLUSION***************************************************************
All and all it was fun playing this game due to its action gameplay, amazing boss fights and incredible graphics. Very happy played it.

Great Multiplayer Experience

I liked COD Modern warfare games and since I knew the same developers were making this game and I liked the trailer, I bought this. Here is what I think.
****************************************************************PROS*********************************************************************************
-Great FPS/Titan gameplay: Gameplay is the number one reason you should buy this game. It is a mixture of FPS like COD but in addition to that you can wall run, double jump, use stealth but most importantly play as Titan. Playing as a pilot (simple FPS) and as a Titan, both have their advantages and disadvantages. So plenty of tactics to explore between two types of play. If you become an advanced player, then you can both control your Titan while playing as a pilot(human). A must experience.
-Incredible graphics/sounds: This one goes without saying. Anyone who has seen the trailer can tell this game has great graphics and sounds. Little things like Titans falling from the sky are very well done. Makes the play very enthralling.
-Variety of multiplayer modes: Like other FPS, there are variety of modes. I have had this one for almost a month and still haven't gotten around to exploring all of these modes.
-Upgrades: As you play more, you earn more points and you can customize and upgrade both your pilot and the Titan. Makes the gameplay very addictive.
****************************************************************CONS*********************************************************************************
-Lack of a good single player campaign/story: It has a very generic horde single player mode. A great concept like this could really have used a good single player story mode. But unfortunately it is simply not there. I really hope developers include it the next time.
****************************************************************CONCLUSION*********************************************************************************
I wouldn't buy this game at full price as it doesn't have a single player mode. But now that the price has lowered, I recommend buying it and experiencing the amazing multiplayer experience.

On the well-worn path made smooth by the mainstream, the human species plods mindlessly, pursuing happiness. Except, that is, for a certain few — the divergent, the complex, the Dark Souls. Mesmerized by the macabre, transfixed by torment, these souls seek completion in hopelessness, despair and impending doom — where true fortitude is earned. There is a place where suffering, misery and challenge reign, where only the iron-willed and the cunning survive. You made the journey once before. Now, descend once again into the depths of devastation in Dark Souls II.The horrific saga marches forward, forging a new, warped path in the role-playing genre in the second installment of the critically acclaimed Dark Souls franchise. Delve deeper than ever into the realm of death and despair as the game world expands to an even larger scope. Assuming the identity of a new hero, you'll face never-before-seen obstacles, bloodthirsty bosses and deadly enemies as you unravel the completely new storyline. Staying true to the franchise's roots, every fresh challenge goads you with the same unrelenting punishment that's become a Dark Souls hallmark. Misery loves company — in the revamped, server-based multiplayer mode, you can share your pain and discover a twisted new way to play with others. Look deep within yourself — can you muster the intestinal fortitude to stare death in the eye?

I bought this one as l really liked Demons and Dark Souls and I have to say this one lived up to the expectations.
*************************************************************************Pros*************************************************************************
-Open World/World design: As with previous games, this game takes place in an open world. While there is only one path that gradually increases difficulty, you can choose more difficult paths and gain greater rewards if you are up for the challange. Also like previous games, the world design is gorgeous at times and spooky at others. Definitely worth experiencing.
-Gameplay/Difficulty: While similar to previous games, there are some improvements in the gameplay to make it better and more fair. It is almost as difficult as previous game but for those who want it can make the game more or less difficult by joining certain covenants.
-Bosses/enemies: Of all things I love bosses in these games. Bosses are the reason I play this game. Can't describe how rewarding it feels to defeat challenging small enemies one after another and then finally face difficult boss and defeat him/her/them after repeated tries. I like how they increased the number of multi-bosses (multiple bosses at the same time) compared to the last game. Feels fair if you defeat these multi-bosses with co-op and ever better if you defeat them just playing alone.
-Weapons/Magic/Hexes/Miracles: To defeat variety of enemies, you have variety of options. You can be a powerful knight with swords, shield, hammer etc. or be a magician or miracle caster or combination. Plenty of exploration which greatly adds replay value to the game.
-Length: In the era, where most games are 10-20 hrs at most, this one will last you forever. One gameplay lasted me more than 80hr. And after that I was even more encouraged to play levels again using bonfire aesthetics (or new game again using new game plus) to face tougher challenge and get special weapons/magic.
-Replay Value/New game plus: As described above, the games gives you plenty of reasons for reply on new game plus, especially for new bosses, enemies, weapons and magic.
-Co-OP/invasion Online gameplay: Another very unique multiplayer aspect of the game. Can make boss fight much easier with the help of other players but if someone were to invade your game makes your game even more challenging.
*************************************************************************Cons*************************************************************************
-Early advertisement vs reality: Earlier when the developers announced the game, they showed some really cool environment/effects/design that was not included in the actual game. Though for most part they were small things.
*************************************************************************Conclusion*************************************************************************
I don't have enough words to describe how incredible dark souls games are and don't want to talk about spoilers either. But if you like action/adventure/RPG type of games, you should definitely try this one.

I got into this franchise with COD: Modern Warfare. After Modern Warfare 3, I felt getting a little bored and took a break from the series. Bought this game since there was a deal going on and was very impressed by it.
*********************************************************************Pros.*********************************************************************
Single Player Story and Campaign: This is what me back into the series. Eventhough COD is mainly popular due to its multiplayer, I am happy they are still putting a great effort into single player story mode. Really liked the campaign. The story had impact at both the personal as well as global level. Must experience it.
Riley the best dog ever: Won't spoil much. The dog stage was my favorite stage of the campign.
Ending: Very surprising ending. I am looking forward to the COD: Ghost 2.
Diversity of scenery: This is another aspect of the campaign that made me respect the developers. Earthquakes, outer space, highspeed train, tanks, drones, choppers.. all in one game. You get the idea.
Multiplayer modes and online gameplay: Still exploring different modes. A good combination of traditional modes as well as introduction of new type of horde modes.
*********************************************************************Cons.*********************************************************************
Grenades: I still find it impossible to take out other players with grenades. Last I remember they were supposed to be dangerous.
*********************************************************************Conclusion***************************************************************
All and all it turned out to be great singleplayer and decent multiplayer experience. Looking forward to the next installment.

Most underrated series

Released for a handheld, I didn't have as high of expectation as original Resistance series, but after playing this, I have to say this is one of the better FPS I have played (especially on a handheld).
*************************************************************PROS***************************************************************************
-Gameplay: This has a very unique FPS gameplay. Very different than popular COD like FPS games. Different but great. Especially weapons.
-Weapons: Resistance weapons are the best aspect of Resistance FPS gameplay. Every weapon have a primary and secondary fire mode. These mode will include classic things like machinegun, shotguns to very cool and highly unique alien weaponry like tagged shots, auger shots (shoot through walls) and more.
-Story and timeline: This game takes place in an alternate timeline when chimera are invading the world in late 1900s. The environment it creates is very believable and story is pretty interesting with some degree of twist to it.
-Enemies and bosses: Filled with variety of enemies and also some very interesting bosses. Love the games with great boss fights.
*************************************************************CONS.***************************************************************************
-Handheld only: I would like to play this game on regular console. Considering how underrated this game is, it will also be good for this game if they were to release it on PS3 (and may be other consoles).
**********************************************************CONCLUSIONS***************************************************************
The whole resistance series is by far one of most underrated FPS games. I really wish Sony does more to promote these games in the future.

You've got all the tools for crafting the greatest entertainment experience you've ever known. Your PlayStation 3 is hooked up to your 3DTV, and the volume is pumping through your new Sony amps. You invited some friends over to watch a new movie you picked up on Blu-ray Disc. The picture's great, the sound is clear — now you just have to get away from the menu so the movie can actually start. You press a button on the remote. The movie doesn't start, but the sound shuts off — that was the remote for your speakers. Ok, no big deal. You find another remote and get ready to start the movie — but this is the remote for your TV. Looks like movie night's going to be delayed.Quit fumbling around with numerous remotes and take control of your entertainment world with the Media/Blu-ray Disc Remote Control for PlayStation 3. Compatible with the PlayStation 3, most TVs and Sony Amps, you can navigate and control your entertainment with one simple device, which makes it easy to listen to music, watch a movie and browse through the photos on your PlayStation 3 without switching between remotes. New buttons and functions let you switch the audio and video inputs in a snap, go back and forth between viewing angles and select either 2D or 3D mode, giving you full access to your entertainment universe. Your electronics come together to deliver one amazing entertainment experience — it's time you control them with one device.

I think this is a good remote to have in general if you watch movies on your PS3 but for me my TV remote stopped working so this product helped a lot.
******************************Pros**************************************
-The Functionality: Works great with both my TV and PS3. Can’t ask for more. It has buttons (play pause etc.) that PS3 controller doesn’t so very convenient.
-The quality and looks: Really great. Nice sturdy and light. Color matches with my TV frame and PS3.
******************************Cons**************************************
-None: Back in the days, I thought the price was a slightly bit higher than in it should be but now it is pretty cheap.

A must buy if you frequently watch movies on your PS3. Very handy.

Best RPG in a long time

I never played a persona game before, but since this one received such great reviews, I decided to give it a shot. The first half hour of this game got me really worried but then I fell in love with it.
******************************Pros**************************************
-Very unique RPG game play: This game has two types of gameplay system. One you go to dungeons, fight monsters and bosses , collect treasures. Second, as a school boy you interact with your friends, family and others in your town. I knew I liked dungeon and fighting gameplay but I was surprised by how much I ended up social linking gameplay in this game. While I was a bit worried at first about the social gameplay, it becomes very addictive as it boosts the experience of personas (your monsters) you create.
-Strategic Battles: This game is turn based JRPG where you can control each of the characters (like FFX) or you can choose to control only main character and give basic commands to your team mate (like FFXIII?). Like typical RPGs enemies are weak and strong against elements, but figuring out which enemy is weak is where this game challenges you. In addition it has unique persona (monsters) gameplay.
-Persona (Monster) Concept: This is the most unique thing about this game. You and your friends have ‘persona’ (in simple words, monster that help you fight in the dungeons. Really liked how you can grow these personas by traditional RPG grinding tactics (leveling up in dungeons) as well as through social linking (spending time with the characters in the game).
-Creating Strong and Unique Personas Experience: This is an art of its own in this game. You, unlike your buddies in the game can have multiple personas and by combining them you can create even more powerful and unique personas (monsters). This can make this experience very strategic as well as addicting.
-Mysterious Main Story and Involving Sub-stories: Usually I find interacting with other characters (i.e going to them and talking to them) boring in most RPGs but in this game it is quite fun and useful. This game has a very mysterious and involving main story and each character you link with will lead you to sub-stories. So if you like story driven games, this is the game for you.
-Great Animation: Really liked both the in game animation and anime cut scenes. Really wished there were more of the cutscenes. They were pretty amazing. Really loved how they show character expression (question mark, cloud, perspiration over the head etc.).
-Mainly Innocent and yet at times Mature Humor: There are events in this game that made me laugh so hard (camping trip, club etc.) Definitely worth experiencing.
-Music: It is very rare I praise music in a game. But loved different types of music played in the game. Really loved the dungeon final boss music in the ‘game world’.
-Unlocking True Ending: I am happy I learned about this online otherwise I would have missed out a lot. Really loved it.
******************************Cons**************************************
-Slow and Somewhat Misleading Beginning: The first half or so hour of the game, I was worried as it was filled with story and no dungeon fights or anything. I was worried that this was not one of the social games where all you do is talk, but later on the game, I couldn’t get enough of the story. I would quickly finish dungeons to advance the main story and sub-stories with different characters.
-Easily miss-ables: Unfortunately like many other RPGs , there are some great things you will miss out on if you don’t pay attention to all the instructions that are being given to you. Especially for me for the first half of the game I didn’t pay any attention to improving social links with Marie and Margaret. I am happy I bumped across an online discussion about true ending. Otherwise I would have missed out a lot.
******************************Conclusion**************************************
If you are an RPG lover and have a Vita, you must buy this game. I will even go far enough to say that if you are an RPG fan and don’t own Vita, buy one (or borrow from your friend) to play this game otherwise you will be missing out on one of the greatest RPG and storytelling experience ever.

Cops fight robbers. Soldiers fight terrorists. Good guys fight bad guys. The ISA fights the Helghast. The battle lines always seemed so clear. But if you thought you knew Killzone, you haven't seen the whole story. The interplanetary war rages on, make no mistake — but from an all-new perspective, the boundaries begin to blur, and your alliances begin to change. When there is no good or evil, where will you stand on the battlefield?Killzone: Mercenary brings the futuristic shooter action of the series to the PS Vita for first time — and turns the war you thought you knew completely on its head. Once, you would have died for your cause. But this time, you're a mercenary. This time, you'll fight not only alongside the ISA, but also shoulder-to-shoulder with vicious Helghast troops. Keep your eye on the mission at hand as you take the battlefield from a whole new perspective, and with a new control system on your PS Vita's touch screens. The battle lines have been redrawn. There is no ISA. There is no Helghast. There is only the mission and the money — provided you make it out of the Killzone alive.

Trailers for this game looked amazing and since I loved Killzone games on PS3, I had to play this one.
******************************Pros**************************************
-Mindblowing graphics: Can’t believe how amazing this game looks. It is unbelievable that any game can look this great on a handheld console.
-Gameplay comparable to console: I will be honest here. I have never played a shooter on handheld that felt as good as on PS3/360. But the experience on Vita with dual analog is the next best thing. Everything plays fine. PS vita is not as good as PS3/360 controller but works well.
-Story: Very surprised. Since this was on Vita, I wasn’t expecting much for a story, but it was very good. It had depth and a twist to it. Really not bad.
-Fair Enemy AI: Not the best AI but far from stupid. On normal and difficult mode they provide enough challenge.
-Touch Screen Menu Navigation: Really liked navigating through menus through touchscreen.
-Stealth vs Cover&Shoot vs Run&Gun: Freedom to choose how you want to play. I am happy they included the variety in gameplay.
-Replayability: I found missions to be interesting enough so I could go back and play them over again.
-Online Play: I like free for all mode. Good way to pass time.
******************************Cons**************************************
-Touch Screen Melee: Touch screen melee is fun at first but it gets annoying afterwards and hurts the continuity of the heated firefight. Should be just hit triangle and kill the person then hit triangle, swipe on touchscreen then kill the enemy. But it does work well when it comes to interrogation.
-Short Campaign: Wish campaign were longer, but unfortunately most first person shooters today have very short campaigns and more emphasis on online play. This game is no different.
******************************Conclusion**************************************
If you own a vita and like shooter then you should absolutely buy this game. I personally enjoyed it a lot and I still can’t believe how mindblowing the graphics are.

Underrated and Underappreciated

I am one those people who was upset upon seeing this game's first trailer. I like Ninja Theory and their game Heavenly Sword, but I was not impressed by the way they changed Dante. Because of that and because Capcom has cheated me in the past, I didn't buy on day one. But now that the price has dropped I have gone through it and this is what I feel.
*************************PROS************************************
-Story: This is the strongest point. I know most fans don't care but I have always wanted a good story in DMC game. I have to say while I really want Capcom to finish the original DMC story, this DMC has the best story and story telling so far. Just loved it. I would give this game a five star just for its story and the action.
-Heck&Slash Action: DMC3 is still the king when it comes to Heck&Slash action, but the action in this game is not bad either. I loved the wide variety of combos you can perform with Angel and Demon weapons. It is also easy to switch between the weapons so no complains here.
-Characters: This is where Ninja Theory shines. They are really good at designing and giving life to characters. This is why I loved Heavenly Sword and was able to tolerate Enslaved. This studio is really good at making unique characters with memorable persona. Bravo Ninja Theory.
-Moves video tutorial: I am happy they decided to keep this feature (basically short videos showing each moves). It is important for average player such as myself so I know if I am pulling out a move correctly or not.
-Weapons: Again loved the combination of Angels and Demon weapons, but again DMC3 is still the king and Pandora's box in DMC4 is still the best weapon.
-Certain enemies and Bosses: I didn't like design of many enemies and bosses but certain enemies and bosses are well designed and well drawn. I enjoyed some boss fights (no spoilers).
-Limbo art/concept: Really liked the concept of the Limbo world. While graphically this game is not the best, it still looks pretty good.
-Platforming: Limbo worlds and use of weapons also makes platforming a great feature in this game. To best to my knowledge this is the first DMC where I enjoyed to the platforming.
-Upgrades: Upgradable weapons, skills and character adds RPG element to this game like previous DMCs. Great.
Replayability: I replayed each and every previous DMC because I liked Heck&Slash gameplay, different difficulties and 100% upgrade completion. Same is true for this one.
*************************CONS************************************
-A step backward: So sad that this game runs at lower fps and has poorer graphics than DMC4. Don't see why they would do that.
-Virgil's downfall: Like Europeans we should have been given an option to get it free with pre-order. So ticked off about this.
-No lock on: You must fix this for future DMC games
-Missed opportunity: They should have made this a spin off rather than a reboot. In other words continue the old DMC story in DMC5 and start this as a new series. A horrible decision that has hurt the sales of this great game.
*************************CONCLUSION********************************
This is a great game and I hope Capcom gives Ninja Theory a second chance to make a sequel but more importantly I also hope that they continue the previous DMC series. If you are a DMC fan who is still angry with Capcom or Ninja Theory, I suggest that you put that anger aside and give this game a shot, especially now that it is a bit cheaper. I will say it again the story and plot really kept me going.

Long before he tore down the walls of Olympus, before he was known as "The Ghost of Sparta" and before only rage consumed every fiber of his being, Kratos was a mere mortal. Most Gorgeous God of War So Far

With Kratos revenge fulfilled in the God of War 3, I was curious to see what type of story and experience Santa Monica (the developers) would bring to God of War: Ascension. After thoroughly finishing the campaign, here is what I think.
******************************Pros**************************************
**Gorgeous Environments and Graphics: This is the strongest suit of the game. As I mentioned in the intro, this is the best-looking God of War game yet. Especially the scenery and the environment of the first few chapters blew my mind. An experience that must not be missed.
**Brutality and Ultraviolence: When the developers said, they are going to bring more human side of Kratos I was worried. To me what make Kratos a unique character is his rage and mercilessness. Fortunately, Kratos is almost as brutal as all the previous games (a little less angry and confused though). I had fun punishing enemies with such brutality.
**Good Mixture of Platforming, Puzzles and Action: This is why I loved all of the previous god of war games and this is why I liked Ascension. The gameplay is very balanced in all three aspects. Puzzles do require some thinking but are quite solvable without a guide. Platforming is fun but not torturous like Dark Souls. And both of these are balanced with action heck&slash gameplay so this game does a great job keeping you engaged..
**Well Thought Overall Level Designs: Of all the areas I loved the beginning chapter area and Tower of Appollo. They are both very well designed. And it was rewarding seeing the tower of Appollo transform as you progress through chapter. Very authentic.
**The Combat, Weapons, Magic and Gadgets: They have changed the combat somewhat from previous God of War games. For most part I liked it. Now magic is part of your chain blades. So switching different magic gives your chain blades different combos, ability and finishing moves which don’t use your magic bar. And then there are 4 unique magic which will use magic bar. The gadgets also give you pretty awesome abilities. Unfortunately there are a few of those. I wish they had more.
**Upgrades: Like previous game you can upgrade your blades, magic, health and gadgets. Gives you incentives to hunt for chests and explore the levels. Such RPG elements are always welcome by me.
**Bosses and Enemies: This is one of my favorites for God of War series. There is decent variety in enemies. Loved the Juggernauts. Variety in enemies also means variety in brutal finishing moves. Makes the experience satisfying. Bosses are also pretty great. Loved the fights against sisters.
New Game+ mode: Very appreciated. Adds longevity to this awesome experience.
Multiplayer: Fun but…. (see cons)
******************************Cons**************************************
**Glitches: There are not many. I only encountered one (but a frustrating one because it was in the toughest level… Yes the trials). Fortunately, restarting the chapter solved it. So won’t hold it against them.
**Number of Bosses: There are decent number of bosses, but less than God of War 3. Definitely want more in future games.
**Story: This is the weakest point of the game. Compared to other games, it had a decent story but compared to previous God of War games, it was really pale. I was left very unsatisfied in the end.
**Multiplayer: Why? Seriously Why? It is fun but it doesn’t belong in God of War. I would rather have 5-10 extra chapters of campaign than Multiplayer.
******************************Conclusion**************************************
While it does have some cons, but for most part they are subjective and I will not hold them against the awesome experience this game provides. If you played previous God of War games, this is a must. If you didn’t, It’s still a great experience. I would give this a 9/10

The Halo Reach Game
By BigC561 from Laredo,Texas
This game is perfect i played the Beta and it was fun I've seen the forge trailer and how Bungie explains the forge part and it sounded pretty easy and fun because you can make objects float change color and make them go in the mountain or go inside other objects.......What i think you people should do is wait until the game is cheaper or if you want the special edition ones get it then.I would rather you all get the game itself.Overall this game is the best ,some people say there is a level like Star wars Battlefront the game.Who knows...

You people need to stop writing review before the game is released.
