Excellent all around portable speaker

Sony scored with this one. The SRS XB-31 is a great little party speaker. It has both bluetooth and nearfield communiction so Android users connecting is even easier than bluetooth.
Out of the box I charged it for a bit and it was ready to go. I paired both using bluetooth and then Nearfield. Nearfield was faster and bluetooth worked as well.
There are six user manuals, don't ignore any of them...here is why. You can either use the Sony Music Center App or not, but if you don't use the app you will miss out on some of the cool features. In order to use the Party Booster Function you have to use the app. The Party Booster allows you to add your own musical touch (drum kit, percussion or custom) by taping the sides of the speaker. Sounds great for a bunch of pre-teen girls...and it is.
Sound quality is excellent and has 3 modes, standard, extra bass and live sound. Clear Audio is the preset. From there you can choose to select your own bass/mid/treble settings.
The next feature is the light show setting, there are several to choose from. This again is a great party type feature.
You can select power options and voice announcement for battery level to wrap up the options.
Remember without the app the above features are not available. The app seems to sync well with your current favorite music source and tracks saved in your playlists. You can custom create more playlists with the app as well.
OK, sound quality since that what this thing is all about. The Extra Base feature seems to be the best setting IMO. The live setting is good but the Extra Base gives just a little more punch at low level listening. In larger open rooms it directs sound well and fills the room. Highs are crisp and clean. As with any speaker, push it too hard and it distorts but I would estimate within about 90% of full volume the music is still pleasing.
This is a great little speaker and I will be buying another one to test out the connection feature and use them in the summer on the patio.

Suprisingly good

Not knowing anything about this brand I was pleasantly surprised. In the box comes 12 different inner ear pieces and 2 different size exterior pieces which is what hold them in your ear. a mini usb charging chord and an USB to 3.5 mm stereo plug so you can plug into something if the battery wears out (you of course will lose the noise cancelling feature using the 3.5mm plug). There is a travel case included too.
One of the inner ear pieces is a memory foam type material which I really liked. I was unable to find what I would call a great fit with the outer ear pieces. The small was too small and the large was too large. I did however achieve a good fit when I selected the right inner piece, which wasn't the memory foam.
After getting them fit, they paired easily and the controls were intuitive as with other ear phones. I found wearing them behind the neck with the optional stiffener on the chord was the most comfortable. In front of the neck they were prone to pulling out of my ears due to the fit.
The sound quality is very good, so much so it was pretty close to a much more expensive pair without active noise cancelling features. There is a sound difference but for the price and features well worth it.

Good sound, not so great fit

Great sound quality which is what the primary function is so they got that right. I had trouble keeping them in my ear and the stick out farther than other brands that sound just as good. I tried all three of the different sized silicone ear inserts and none worked perfectly. I attribute some of that problem to how they actually insert into your ear and the weight/type of lanyard. The lanyard is a silicone type covering which "sticks" to things and creates drag that sometimes pulls the earbuds out. It is also challenging to wear these inside a helmet.
That being said those things are tolerable considering the clean crisp sound these produce. Battery life seems to be excellent so far. Set up was easy and is intuitive if you have experience with other blue tooth devices. Instructions are clear in case you have questions and the included case is a great bonus.
I would recommend these based on sound quality.

Great option

Easy set up out of the box and its use is pretty self explanatory via voice without any research. The Google home app is helpful with other things this device can do with connected smart devices.
At regular price I would also look at the Google mini, I feel the sound quality of the mini is a tad better. However at easy listening levels this is very pleasing. Decent base and good highs, like I said good quality relative to what we are talking about. I do like the clock display on this unit which the mini does not have. I have/will use this one for an auxiliary alarm clock in my room.
Bluetooth capability allows connections to just about anything and the USB port is a good option that will also allow charging.
All things considered this is a great option, even a better bargain while it is on sale. I would recommend.

Great Smart Light

Excellent secondary light for a table. Love the options it has with the HUE app for turning On/Off on a timer or when arriving home. There are several preset scenes and an option to create your own. Prior to hooking up to the app it would change color now it only has shades of white. Still have not figured that one out yet???

Awesome cameras

This is a great set up both hardware and software/app.
Set up/connection was very easy as was setup. Just put the camera where you think it should go and you can use the app to adjust as it will reduce the lag time. There is about 3-4 seconds of lag time under normal viewing.
You can set the cameras to notify you for movement, sound or both. You can individualize your system to notify you by camera or as a whole. With the standard membership you are able to store recordings and have them sent to you as notifications. The base also has a built in siren you can use manually or automatically based on how you arm your system.
One of the best features is the ability to listen and talk through the camera, I have had tons of fun with my kids, trust me on this.
The cameras work very well in low/no light as well as inside and outside.
All things considered this is a great investment for security and entertainment, highly recommend.

Mission possible

I have long been a user of "other" robot vacuum models and this was my first experience with Hoover. I am impressed with the exception of a couple unexplained flaws that have not reappeared.
Out of the box set up was easy and the self explanatory read me first card was good because as with everything I wanted to plug it in a go. The initial mapping feature paired with the app is what sets this apart from the others I have tried. The map actually shows on your device and you can make modifications or "smart walls" to keep Rogue out of certain areas.
Setting up the map and layout is pretty effortless, then you create rooms and schedule and you are all set. If you like you can also connect to Alexa or Google home. Sometimes watching a robot vacuum get stuck is so painful but I have not had this experience with the Rogue. I also like the side brushes, I find these to be pretty effective in getting to the dust bunnies hiding in the corners.
I was a bit concerned at first with the size of the brush and agitator, they seemed small so I was concerned it would take longer and more cycles to clean. I was pleasantly surprised it did not which I would attribute to the mapping feature and Rogue's ability to navigate along with the use of smart walls.
Cleaning the unit and emptying the dust bin is easily achieved and self explanatory. There are three cleaning modes, stealth, normal and Beast. I like beast mode, it gets the job done but I have found setting a schedule and using normal mode is more efficient.
The one complaint I have with most of these are the base, it has to be positioned just right or you risk it knocking it off kilter and then it may not charge. It always is not convenient to set it up against a flat surface particularly if you have 3/4" base shoe. Not a big deal as I have found work arounds using rug pads, 3m products etc.. to hold the base more secure. As for the initial issues I had problems getting the unit connected to the app. Not sure if it was an app issue or my hardware but after deleting it, turning off and on my bluetooth and trying again it all worked.
All in all I would probably stick with this unit/model over the other brands I have experience with due to the mapping and app.

HP has restored by faith in their products with this one. This is a very well put together unit. Fit and finish are appleesque, vey thin light great looking laptop. It doesn't stop there however the boot up time on this is roughly 7-9 seconds and the facial recognition is a-w-e-s-o-m-e.
After getting it out of the box and setting up with my microsoft account I was all set. The processor speed was more than adequate to multitask me through working on a spreadsheet, streaming music and surfing the net in between. There are no USB A inputs, only USB C but it does come with an adapter. Also included is a AC power adapter with grounded and two blade optional plugs. A laptop sleeve is included but for better protection I will find another case.
Touch screen is excellent and responsive, low glare and color rendering is beautiful. With all this comes a price tag but given the specs and performance, worth every penny.

Good at what it does

First let's start with this is a big speaker and it weighs in at about 27 lbs so it isn't going to win any awards for size. However, if you are using it correctly, great speaker.
Setup with my Pixel XL was flawless, we had a bit of a pairing issue with an I Phone 6s but after loading the Sony Music Center App all problems resolved. We set this up outside and my boys had some friends over (12-16 year olds). It was a hit, they could make it as loud as they wanted and the lights prompted a dance party that was hilarious. Later I connected it to our projector and watched some movies in the back yard.
Our second outing was trunk or treat at school. My 15 year old set it up in the back of the Jeep and played spooky Halloween music, again the light show was a hit. It attracted kids young and old, which also turned into a dance party. We used it a solid 5.5 hours at 75-100% volume and had not battery concerns.
The bass is good, the EXTRA BASS is a better sound overall. As with any device at near full volume there is distortion. We found at about 85-90% volume was pretty good.
There are several connections to fit just about any circumstance. We liked the feature to be able to connect up to 3 devices. We don't have a second unit so can't comment on the daisy chain feature but in doing some research others have had good success but it does lose some control features when daisy chaining.
All in all I would say this is an excellent purchase, what put it over the top was the light show and we didn't know it until boys said they loved it.

Can run with the big dogs

The TV is very well packed, mine shipped from California and no damage. This is a good looking unit, the stainless edges are thin but add a nice touch. The back panel is not plastic, it is metal which may explain the weight of the unit. All in all looks like a quality build on the exterior.
Unpacked, set up and ready to go I started with regular TV through my HD cable box. I like the built in feet for the stand, once attached they are sturdy and look very nice. I modified the sound and picture setting to my liking then for the review used theater mode.
I like the remote, big enough to feel good in my hand and small enough to not be a paperweight. The only complaint I have would be for a backlight..somewhere on it.
Connections are plentiful and there are two 60 HZ HDMI ports which support the 2.0 standard. The wireless connection worked flawessly and once connected to my network I set up Netflix and Amazon. I set up the free 30 day trial of Netflix and immediately started binge watching.
The picture color and quality was excellent. This rivals my other brand name 55" 4K TV with no question. I watched some high intensity scenes from some Marvel, DC and Jason Bourne movies to test the motion flow. No pixelation I could see. The blacks are black, not grey and the colors are all very vivid.
As it happens there are not a lot of options for built in streaming services but in this case it has the two I subscribe to, Netflix and Amazon so I win in this scenario. This is a quick fix if you add a smart DVD player or other streaming player.
The built in audio is just meh but on par with other TV's in this category. Ideally a sound bar or receiver is a better choice unless perhaps you are just going to watch only an occasional movie.
All in all I would recommend the Hisense TV as a good value and would compare it to any of the big brand TV's out there in terms of picture quality. If you are looking for more streaming services built in you may want to look elsewhere for the price point.

Out of the box easy set up and ACER has some good apps to offer.

I first loaded it the same way my phone was set up. It seemed very, very slow. I then reset it and set it up as a new device, a little better as it was now set up like a tablet. The touch screen seemed to be iffy at times. This is not a fast tablet, it often has to think for several seconds before it does what you command, it only has 1 GB RAM which always seems to be at capacity. I connected to my network late at night when usage was non-existent, still slow as compared to other devices. I find the battery life to be lacking compared to "fruit" products, no experience with other android tablets. ACER claims 10 hours, even at medium use I doubt it would get me there. Good thing is you are never far from a USB outlet.
I would consider this for a kids first tablet, by kid standards these days 5 and under. It just can't compete with some of the other tablets for an adult for few hundred dollars more.

After some additional experience I can't recommend this tablet. It continues to be so slow it is irritating to use. The ACER bloatware is not giving errors and shutting down. Although the price makes this attractive look elsewhere.

I have the 300 soundbar with wireless woofer and mids. Is the 700 soundbar compatible?
All things equal (add ons and room set up) the 700 is superior as a main AV Theatre system. The 300 is a great system, especially if you have limited space and a smaller budget.

No, this is a stand alone unit that connects to a TV. You can use as a smart control device an speaker only with no TV connection.

Will these still be secure in their noise cancellation even when you wear glasses? The bow of my glasses it pretty thick and I notice some noise cancellation is compromised with the wearing of my glasses with the QC35II I wear now.
I wear Oakley black framed glasses, the frame is somewhat thick and I have had no problems. The foam pieces are almost like a memory foam and squish around them pretty snuggly.

Does this model pick up pet hair?
Absolutely, I have a blonde Labrador Retriever and her job lately has been to shed. I run my vac bot twice a day on a schedule and I have yet to come home to any hair on the carpet.
