Won't replace elbow grease but comes close

Out of the box assembly was easy and review of the quick start guide and I am off to the cleaning races. There is handy tool storage on the base of the steam unit but I find they easily detach with use (maybe I'm clumsy) so I just took them off. The power chord has enough length to be useful. I would recommend (as does the manufacturer) the use of either distilled water or soft water to help avoid mineral build up.
My first test was on a grill pan I forgot and left on the grill for a few days, it was really caked on burnt marinade. The photos shows the left side which I did exclusively with the Bissell in about 2 minutes using the steam tip and red brush. The right side is a gold ole fashion scrub bursh and dish soap. The steam mop won here, not to mention the mess in the sink I had to clean up, which I used the Bissell for too.
On to my kitchen tile floor. This took a bit more work to get the grout clean but I did a test clean in another area where I scrubbed a bit first and got better results more quickly. Here is what I will say about floors. This is better than a mop and bucket but you would need to use regularly which wouldn't be a problem because it is more efficient and less of a mess than a mop and bucket. Just be sure you thoroughly vacuum first.
Into the bathroom, I have two teenage boys with bad aim...my fault I guess. Anyway, this is awesome in cleaning the toilet, sink whatever. Some quick steam and wipe it down effortlessly.
This also did great work on the rims on my jeep and removing road tar from fenders. Seems like there isn't anything you can't clean with this.
There are two steam settings and a pause button. The wand for use on floors is on the short side but the head articulates nicely to get into corners and under cabinet toe kicks. The trick for floors seems to be an even slow pace to let the steam and heat work. One of the included washable floor pads has a texture to it which also seems to work better on tile. The unit seems to be built well and I don't have any concerns with fragile hinges on the water door or control buttons.
All in all I would recommend as a great supplement to your cleaning arsenal.

Great office scanner

Epson scored with this one overall in my opinion. This unit is compact and renders great images. This unit is not compatible with the Mac IOS, or at least I have not found anyone with any success in this area.
Out of the box setup was effortless. A quick visit to Epson's web site for the drivers to download and I am ready to empty out a file cabinet of paper copies. I stopped to wonder who has a CD drive any longer and what cost saving may be seen from excluding a CD, but that is for another day.
I start with a stack of about 2000 sheets of varying size and paper. Note your maximum width is 8.5". Including loading time I spent about an hour getting through this stack. This all happened to be going in the same file or location but please not the file naming needs to be changed each scan set if you want them to store under different names, it just drops the docs in a folder and you have to rename from their. I also haven't been able to figure out how to get this to send to a specific folder....yet. I had 3 jams the entire process, pretty impressed. The curved output sheet is a nice touch, if you don't use it the scanner will throw the pages across the room, this thing is fast.
Next I tried some color photos, let's just say my flatbed does a better job with those but this isn't what I'm looking for in this scanner. It does a great job with text and color documents.
What is lacking? Wireless connectivity which really would have put this over the top. You can for a price purchase a LAN adapter but at almost $800.00 and the fact it is 2017, this really should be included in my opinion. Where is this going to fit the best need, a mid-sized or smaller office with the need to scan documents quickly. It is rated at 6000 pages for a duty cycle.
Features are what you would expect and the control panel is labeled well and is functional.
All in all I would recommend.

Good product, improves signal

Nothing is worse than sitting in your own driveway and you can't even make a call, now I can. Out and about a I have noticed an increase in my reception overall. I regularly travel in rural Michigan and the service is pretty sketchy. Since using this booster I have fewer dropped calls if any and many are more clear than before.
Installation was very easy and the directions have pictures... The chord from the cradle was a bit short for where I wanted to mount it but I worked around that. The cradle on the other hand isn't the greatest. My version of the cradle is vertically spring loaded, not convenient to get in and out. The other problem is my fingerprint reader (Pixel XL) is on the back of the phone so when it locks I have to remove it and unlock it then put it back, not an easy feat when driving. Turning off your auto lock feature solves the problem but then leaves your phone vulnerable. The cradle also has a vent mount that doesn't allow much articulation of the cradle and depending on your vehicle you are at the mercy of the position and height of your vent. I would recommend semi-permanently mounting to the dash area as I have. I would recommend watching the video on the BB web site so you know how it works and how to test it by putting your phone in field test mode. From what I have seen their customer service is top notch although I didn't have to use them because the directions are excellent and the video answered all my questions.
All things considered the $180.00 investment is a good decision however I would upgrade to the other versions to avoid the cradle.

Solid performers but if you are looking for heart thumping bass there are better choices. Sound quality from movies and music is above average, clean crisp and has enough bass to surround your on ear headphone.
Comes with a nice case which is absent from some other brands. Appear to be the standard plastic construction of most other brands however they feel solid and the parts that move seem to be built to last.

Battery life has been excellent and bluetooth connection effortless on Apple, Android and PC platforms. I like the link feature via bluetooth so you can share what you are listening to, it was very useful while flying to share my movie sound on one laptop.

Great sound so, so portability

The Nyne X-Series Rock puts out some great sound and deep base. Connecting via bluetooth is a snap and you are up and running. One note, my son's I-phone was quirky with volume adjustment, never could figure out why but my Android worked flawlessly. Bluetooth connections were successful up to 100 feet away with no obstructions which is nice so you can connect to bluetooth things inside you home if you are on the deck if needed. You also have the option of daisy chaining multiple speakers together.
Indoors the base seems to almost overwhelm but it is very rich deep sound. Outdoors by the pool is where this thing really shines. It won't cause your neighbors to call the police but it will fill your backyard patio with great sound.
This thing is big, but not heavy. You won't be stuffing this in your average backpack and heading to the beach, unless your backpack is a body bag but when you get there prepare to be impressed with the sound quality.
At over 50% sound level I and about half of the time near highest output I got 5 full hours of play time. Not the 12 hours as advertised but I'm sure that wasn't pushing it as hard as we were.
All in all at this price point the Nyne X-Series Rock is worth a look and one of the best speakers in its class.

Design and Setup

- very intelligent mapping so it wouldn’t get stuck as often
- a way to clean along walls and in corners
- the ability to sense and transition between hardwood floors and carpet, and an easy way to set it up and control it remotely via wifi.

- the ability to sense and transition between hardwood floors and carpet, and an easy way to set it up and control it remotely via wifi.
Unboxing and setup was pleasantly uneventful. Good sign. Otherwise you just plug in the docking station, remove the plastic protecting the dustbin, turn on the power switch under the vacuum to give it power and set it on the dock to charge. Physical setup complete. To set up wifi, you download the Samsung Smart Home app from the play store and login or create a Samsung account. Press a button on the vacuum’s remote to enable wifi pairing, and a minute or two later setup is complete. Unfortunately this part can be a bit challenging depending on your platform. Non Samsung hardware users report problems with this set up as do users of Android Nougat. My Pixel XL refused to initially complete the set up then one day it worked...
R7040 has multiple cleaning modes, including Auto, Spot clean and manual. You can set it to clean on a set schedule or at intervals throughout the day. It can clean your home on a single pass, or you can enable it to patrol the house continually until it needs a recharge. Cleaning power has 3 modes, Turbo, Normal and Quiet. Turbo is obviously the most effective, but it’s also the loudest. On normal mode you can watch TV without being disturbed at normal volume.
In Turbo mode the R7040 is a cleaning monster. I have a very effective upright vacuum that is used regularly, and despite this the R7040 was able to pull an amazing amount of dirt and dog hair from the carpeting and floors. It adjusts itself to clean deeply when it senses it’s on carpeting and adjust power when it transitions to hardwood, and it does so seamlessly. The real star of the show, however is this Edge Cleaning system Samsung uses. Other robot vacs utilize long bristles to dislodge debris from corners and walls. In all of the research I’ve done this system seems to be hit or miss, with overly aggressive bristles sometimes spraying debris in all directions. The Samsung has a squeegee-like shutter that quietly deploys directly to the edge of the wall or corner and will pull the debris away from the wall so it can be accessed by the bristles. The words “Edge” flash on the screen and you can see and hear it in action. It’s not easy to get excited about a vacuum, but this is amazing. You can watch as it pulls dust and dog hair away from the wall and sucks it up effortlessly as the shutter retracts again.
The device seems to map the environment and be aware of its surroundings very well. The wheels and traction are also impressive. It rolls over small obstacles effortlessly and hasn’t gotten stuck on the transition from floor to carpet. Just for fun, I spent quite a bit of time over the last four weeks placing items randomly around the house to see how it dealt with unexpected obstacles. With smaller, lighter items such as shoes or a tennis ball, it gently slows down as it approaches the item and begins to nudge it out of the way to resume it’s cleaning mission. For heavier items such as a chair or a pot, when it senses it can’t move the item it quickly adjusts its path around the object, testing each possible boundary until it has carved that section out of the map. If I later remove the object and make the path clear again, it’s fun to watch as it proceeds with caution until it sees the obstacle is no longer there. When it senses it’s not, it resumes its original path. I was only able to trap it twice, once under some bar stools cleverly arranged and the other was a fluke when it ran over a shoe and got stuck. I on numerous occasions tried to get it to go down stairs, it would not, sensed them every time and backed off.
Maintenance seems very simple. The dust canister is removed with a button. There’s a washable filter which you remove and then pull out the dust container. Dump out the debris, reinstall the filter and snap it back in place.
The app is surprisingly useful but again glitchy depending on your platform. From the app you can easily adjust the cleaning power, schedule and monitor battery life. The app will also let you know when cleaning is complete or if there’s any issue with the unit.
PROS
- Very impressed with the build quality and performance of the Powerbot R7040.
-Have zero complaints with cleaning capability, battery life or usage.
- It has the ability to pick up deeply embedded debris.
- The ability to schedule cleaning times and utilize it immediately for spot cleaning is a great feature.
- Cleaning and maintenance is easy.

The name is fitting, these are the Master. The build quality is superior to other headphones from the leather trim to the metal connectors on the ear pieces. Folding for storage via magnetic hinges means they will last and don't have the plastic hinges that may break. The ear pieces are comfortably padded and feel good to the touch. It almost feels like there is memory foam in them.
Dynamic they are, great sound quality even at low levels. The included chords have full Apple control and limited android control. Mute and call answer work on my Pixel XL but I was not able to get volume to work. I like that there is a longer auxiliary chord included to either share with another user or in case you need some extra length.
The fit and comfort is good for an on ear head phone. I have mine maxed out on the adjustment and they just fit. I wear a 7 5/8 hat size though.
I would definitely recommend these premium headphones but they come with a premium price and all in all I would say it is justified based on build quality.

Great keyboard and addition to SP4

The keyboard is substantial and even more so makes your SP feel like a laptop. The weight of the Brydge is perfectly balanced to support the weight of the SP. The keyboard is great looking and has great features like the recessed area to make opening easier. When attached to the keyboard it feels solid. I have picked up by the screen and it does not come out easily.
it has all the functions of laptop keyboards so you can modify it (lighted keys etc..). Pairing was a snap and I have logged several hours typing on it so far. Other than adjusting to the overall size and key stroke it has been great. You get good feedback from the keys and the depth is very similar to a slip laptop or apple keyboard. I have detected no lag time on keystrokes.
I can't comment on battery yet as the battery is still at 100% but from my use so far I will at least get a week out of it I'm guessing so as long as you can remember to charge it, no big deal.
The only con is that you cannot flip it all the way back to utilize as tablet unless you take the keyboard off. Not a big deal but a 360 degree hinge would be nice.
I would recommend as a keyboard for the SP.

Good sub for earbuds/phone speaker

This is a pretty cool idea and sounds better than your cell phone speaker. Most high end earbuds will beat the sound but sometimes earbuds aren't what you want. After I charged it all up and connected via bluetooth to my phone I gave it a try. I played 9 holes of golf while it was clipped to the cart and the battery lasted. It was at a med/low lever and there were times I paused but over all I would say battery life is OK.
Parts of the case are a rubberized material and parts are plastic, looks pretty sturdy. Charging is accomplished via the USB connection. The clip will allow you to attach to almost anything, shirt, hat, belt loop etc..
All controls are accomplished through the use of the volume up and down buttons (+ & -) so you either have to keep the directions or memorize their usage. Pairing was effortless to both my pixel and laptop. All things considered a worthy addition to my audio collection.

The V1 of these had their problems and the v2 seems to have addressed any doubts. The chord is wrapped in a nylon mesh and all connections are protected. The shoulder at the usb connection is a rubberized material rather than a brittle plastic. The build quality feels great. The strap around your head is metal and that extends around he outer part of the speaker. The headband is adequately padded as well as the ear piece. The microphone feels substantial.
It gets even better, as a plug and play the sound is amazing, use the Synapse app, even better. The microphone retracts into the left side ear piece so they can be used as headphones as long as you have a usb port.
They are large, but with size comes room for awesome sound. They are not noise cancelling but the fit keeps normal noises out and the music in. I tested them by making Skype calls and playing multiple games, they worked flawlessly. The only shortcoming I can think of is the length of the usb chord..at just over 6'-0" it doesn't give you a lot of room to move around.
I would highly recommend these.

Out of the box easy set up and ACER has some good apps to offer.
Temper the following PROS and CONS with the price.

I first loaded it the same way my phone was set up. It seemed very, very slow. I then reset it and set it up as a new device, a little better as it was now set up like a tablet. The touch screen seemed to be iffy at times. This is not a fast tablet, it often has to think for several seconds before it does what you command, it only has 1 GB RAM which always seems to be at capacity. I connected to my network late at night when usage was non-existent, still slow as compared to other devices. I find the battery life to be lacking compared to "fruit" products, no experience with other android tablets. ACER claims 10 hours, even at medium use I doubt it would get me there. Good thing is you are never far from a USB outlet.
I would consider this for a kids first tablet, by kid standards these days 5 and under. It just can't compete with some of the other tablets for an adult for few hundred dollars more.

After some additional experience I can't recommend this tablet. It continues to be so slow it is irritating to use. The ACER bloatware is not giving errors and shutting down. Although the price makes this attractive look elsewhere.

I have the 300 soundbar with wireless woofer and mids. Is the 700 soundbar compatible?
All things equal (add ons and room set up) the 700 is superior as a main AV Theatre system. The 300 is a great system, especially if you have limited space and a smaller budget.

I live in a rural area where my Verizon cell service is sketchy at best. I DO NOT have any capability of downloading a phone app for setup without WiFi access. Am I reading correctly that there is no way to set these up with a wired Ethernet connection?

Will these still be secure in their noise cancellation even when you wear glasses? The bow of my glasses it pretty thick and I notice some noise cancellation is compromised with the wearing of my glasses with the QC35II I wear now.
I wear Oakley black framed glasses, the frame is somewhat thick and I have had no problems. The foam pieces are almost like a memory foam and squish around them pretty snuggly.

Does this model pick up pet hair?
Absolutely, I have a blonde Labrador Retriever and her job lately has been to shed. I run my vac bot twice a day on a schedule and I have yet to come home to any hair on the carpet.
