Right out of the box, you can plug in the soundbar and connect it to your TV with either the included optical cable or an HDMI cable (not included), then plug in the subwoofer. The soundbar connects wirelessly to the subwoofer so quickly, that it surprised me at first. This comes with a remote, complete with batteries, which controls the connection settings and volume. It’s very easy to set up and use. Then this amazing sound comes out of them – I didn’t realize how bad the sound quality was for my TV until I heard the sound from this product. It filled the room, like my own little movie theater.
In addition to the two devices, this comes with an optical cable, power cords, instructions, and the hardware to mount the soundbar. It doesn’t take up a lot of space on the surface, but it’s nice that it could be mounted instead. There are guidelines for this, although I prefer to leave mine sitting. It’s long but not wide, and looks good as it is, and would stand out on the wall, but maybe not so much if the TV was mounted above it. It's a simple configuration that blends into the room with minimal clutter.
The speakers have a total of 400W – 90 from the speakers in the soundbar and 220W in the subwoofer – which is probably more than most people need to watch TV and movies at home. There is a set of speakers you can get to have true surround sound in the room, but the sound quality is so phenomenal from these speakers that it seems like you already have this set up. Another great feature is the automatic adaptive sound mode that helps keep the voices from being too low, and the music or commercials from being too loud, so viewers don't have to keep adjusting this on their own. This made it a lot more comfortable for me, and might also be an issue for other people, with that jarring change from quieter parts to the suddenly loud ones.
It has DTS X, which is described as object based audio; this means that the sound flows around you in the room, in an immersive experience, rather than just in front of you from the TV speakers (or other connected device). The ‘Virtual’ part of it refers to the way the sound seems to come from additional directions or speakers, without needing them in place – unless you want to add them. I don’t see the need to add them, when the results here are this good, but it’s a matter of personal preference. For me, this product eliminates the need to accommodate extra devices and cords, without sacrificing the overall experience of what is playing. I definitely recommend this as a great product, which improves the quality of a home theater system significantly, for optimal results.

This headset is clearly designed with gamers in mind, to provide the best experience in comfort and sound quality. It lives up to the Astro name. I was so impressed with the quality of the packaging and components I wrote a whole page of notes just during the unboxing and examination of what comes with it. There's the headset, the mic, the MixAmp Pro, and several cables, in a glossy & matte black box. It's impressive to see, and even more so to use.
The packaging ensures the parts are secured to avoid any damage in transit. Removing the outer box, one finds another box that appears reusable. Most seem disposable, plastic and cardboard that only serve to protect until unpacked. This one is appealing, decorated with sketches on the outside and some inner panels. I took pictures, but they don't show it well; it's something you have to see. I will reuse this box for storage.
At first glance, it's a very attractive headset, black and silver with a little blue (PS4 colors for this model). As expected, it has cushions on the band and ear cups, which are meant to remain comfortable for long gaming sessions, and they are very comfortable. They are also not too heavy, but seem sturdy and very well made. The optional Mod kit comes with alternatives for these cushions that are also comfortable, but increase noise cancellation as well. These do a great job already with this, although it's nice to have the option to swap them out later on. Depending on the settings, you can immerse yourself in the sounds from the game, and block everything else out. It's amazing! It also allows for a better streaming experience, since it eliminates the background noises that might detract from gameplay.
The speaker tags and mic are also swappable. You can even order personalized or special edition replacement tags. The mic is designed to pick up just the user's voice. The voice of a person next to me who was talking did not get picked up at all, and no other sounds from the room. The only thing that I noticed might be an issue for some is the length of the 3.5mm headset cable. For some, this might limit movement, or placement of the amp, since it's all wired. The optical cable is a good length, and the headset cable could possibly be exchanged for a longer one if this becomes an issue. With my setup, the cables were more than long enough.
Getting started was easy, using the included guide, which takes just a few step to connect the components and adjust settings on the console. The headset plugs into the MixAmp, which connects to the PS4 via USB and Toslink optical cables. The MixAmp has a switch to change from PS4 to PC, and knobs for volume and game/voice volume; you can focus on the sounds of the game, or turn it down some to better listen to the voices of the players. I really liked this option, along with the EQ settings, four different options depending on user preference.
One of the included pages mentions the word 'epic' and it fits. This headset is epic. If you can afford them, get them. In my opinion, they are the best headset you can purchase. I can't imagine you'll be disappointed.

Adobe provides great products for editing photos and videos, and this is another one. The end results are amazing. Most people won't need all of the features for personal use, but many will appreciate having those options. Photoshop Elements is bundled with this on some sites for those who want more, but this provided everything I wanted, and more, and most home users will not need the bundle. This version is not a subscription; it is a complete product with no monthly fees.
It installs quickly, and is ready to use in a short time. An Adobe account is needed but takes just a couple minutes. One of the best features is the Quick Edit mode, which has been redesigned for this version. The Home screen is new here too. It has something called Sensei AI technology, which is how it does so much of the work for the user, by automating the process of editing videos and pictures in your creations. There are 20 guided edits that help you add in special effects and sounds, creating the results you want. You can create stunning slideshows and movies easily, and sharing these memories online is easier than ever. If you're looking for a product that is easy to navigate and nearly professional results, this product should work well for you.

Connect various electronics using this device from Aluratek. You can connect a Bluetooth device and improve the connection through advanced Bluetooth 5 technology, which allows streaming up to 100 feet. I wasn't able to test the full distance, but this has a stronger signal from farther away than any previous bluetooth connection.
I hooked up a speaker using the receiver mode, and a bluetooth headset and a TV to this device, through transmitting mode, without any issues. They each paired up easily by following the directions in the quick start guide, although it does some of the work for you. It enabled the use of my bluetooth headset with my older model TV, and had great sound quality from across the room; even when I left the room, the signal stayed strong.
Since this is both a receiver and a transmitter, depending on which other devices you want to connect to it, it eliminates the need for separate units. Simply move the switch to receiver mode, shown as RX, and pair it to an audio device. Changing it to the TX side of the switch activates the transmitting function. This is the option to connect your TV to headphones or external speakers. It even let's you connect to two different sets of bluetooth headphones, so 2 people could listen at the same time to a TV, or to a computer or music player, like an MP3 player. Connecting your TV to bluetooth headset is the best feature it has, for my purposes at least, but it has the versatility to do more.
It comes with the receiver, a USB cord for power (it's not rechargeable or battery powered), and three cords for connecting. Depending on the device you're using, you can use the 3.5mm cable, an RCA-Y cable, or even an optical cable to link a wired device. This is a great device- no complaints or issues with design or operation of this product.

The Dyson V7 Stick vacuum is another well made product that lives up to the Dyson name. It boasts 107,000 RPM. I don't know how you would measure that in the home, but what it means for performance is this incredibly powerful unit will pick up even dust from floors and other surfaces with ease. It's not the cheapest option, but you won't need to replace this anytime soon, so it's worth the investment. And I've seen it on sale too. It comes with a 2 year warranty when you register your device.
The Fluffy part of the name refers to the soft brushes that are designed for hardwood floors. It's gentle on the surfaces so it won't scratch the floor, but still does a great job of cleaning them. It will still work on other floors so you're not limited to just those rooms. And you can convert it into a handheld for furniture or other use. It's so versatile, including attachments and a docking station for mounting on the wall. It also has a washable filter.
This vacuum is cordless, requiring you to charge it before use. No cords to manage or limit your movement, or that you have to unplug and move to another spot. At the highest 'Max mode' setting, it runs for up to 6 minutes, but the regular (still very powerful) setting offers up to 30 minutes of battery life. From what I've seen so far it lives up to the claims as far as power and battery use. It's easy to assemble and separate for handheld use. It can even be used for ceilings and corners that you might have difficulty reaching with another machine, and unlike using a broom, it sucks up the dust. The canister is able to hold the smallest particles, and instructions on emptying it are included (plastic bag to avoid releasing any of it back into the room).
Much of the directions are diagrams, but I didn't think it was confusing; there's enough text that it's easy to understand everything you need to know. Overall I was impressed with this vacuum and and found no problems with design or performance. It's the best product I've tried and worked great on my floors. And it's easy to assemble, operate and maintain.

Another Belkin product that exceeds my expectations, appears well made and reliable, and performs as it's supposed to. It comes with a micro USB cable and 3.0 AC adapter. It works with the most recent models of iPhones and Samsung devices. I recommend this charging stand.
The two things I like best are that you can charge your phone in its case, and that you can still use the phone while it charges. I used another device previously, and the phone sits flat, making it hard to do anything. This allows for the phone to sit in either an upright or landscape position, which let me continue to watch a video while the phone charged. Plus that previous device didn't charge at all with my case on, so I was surprised this charger had no trouble charging through the case. It's a fast charger, faster than previous ones I've tried. I really like this one. It even comes with a 3 year warranty.

I couldn't give this 5 stars, but it might be more of 4.5 than 4 stars. I need more time with it. It's a great idea, good product, but I had a little difficulty with it. It's still very new, and I feel like it will continue to have updates to the software that will improve functionality, particularly with the app. I followed the steps to get started, going from the website to Google Play to install the app on my phone, then adding the app to two devices to start with, planning to add additional devices over time. It allows the main user to set up profiles and add devices to that profile. It could be one individual, or maybe apply to all of the kids, and a different profile for teens or adults. Devices connecting to the home network will be recognized by the Circle Home Plus, and it will identify them, but will leave them as unmanaged until they are designated in some other way, such as adding to a profile. There isn't much as far as instructions, but most devices these days just give you basic instructions, and expect you to visit the website or install an app to assist with the rest of setup and use. The Circle is the same way, and it requires the app on at least one device to get started.
I had no problems adding the app to Android devices or the iPad, and they worked fine the first day. Part of setup includes plugging the Circle into the router via ethernet cable, but then the app has you set it up to connect using WiFi, so it's capable of using either source to connect. The second day, I was working on setting some limits, and paused two devices to see how that part works. Then the app crashed on my phone, and would not work even after clearing cache, or clearing data after that. I just would not work; I had to uninstall, and reinstall using mobile date, because the wifi wouldn't work either, not for the two devices that were paused, or other devices that I had not paused, like my phone. I had to go back in and set the app back up, unpause the devices, and then the internet worked for all devices again. This was a problem!
I didn't realize it would prevent devices connected to the device from accessing the internet, even when not actually paused. I think that as they apply updates to the app, and work out some bugs, this is a great way to set limits for device usage, and even certain websites or apps, such as social media. Profiles can be set up for children, teens, adults or no restrictions at all. For adults, it can be a reminder of a preferred 'bedtime', and it can be used to reward kids by giving extra time. It allows the 'parent' to set a time for internet to end for a device, or for daily limits. These can easily be changed through the app, which worked fine again once reinstalled.
In spite of the issue I had with the app, I would recommend this device. It was a nuisance for a short while, as I reinstalled the app. There were no issues with setup or with any of the hardware. It's still new, and I've only been using it a few days, so it will be an adjustment for our household. I really like the options it provides. If I continue to have other problems, I'll update the review, but for now I recommend the Circle Home Plus device.

With this device, it's hard to narrow down what to mention -- there are so many positives. I had a minor issue scanning my fingerprint; I don't know if it's partly because the sensor is on the very narrow side (on the power button), but this does provide for faster opening up the device without using a password. Security also includes facial recognition. The Super AMOLED display gives you the best quality for viewing videos, pictures, and whatever else you're using the device for. I also loved the sound quality of video playback on this tablet. It supports UHD 4K playback and recording.
My first thought is that it seemed like a very large phone, and it syncs up with my Samsung phone easily. You can even use the tablet for phone calls and text messaging. It came with a cable and charger, a mini instruction manual, and an adapter for headphones, which uses the charging port (USB C to 3.5mm). It's so thin and lightweight (less than a pound) it won't add weight to my bag, but still feels sturdy and well made.
The best features are the display and the Qualcomm Snapdragon Octa-Core processor, which keeps the system running at a fast pace. It includes voice commands through Bixby, and can control household devices through the SmartThings app. The 64GB of storage can be expanded using a micro SD card (not included), and users can purchase a keyboard for this tablet. It does not include the S pen, which helps keep this to a lower price point than some previous models; this wasn't an problem for my use, and I am more than impressed with the appearance of the device and its functionality. Other key features are the One UI Android P based operating system, long battery life and 13 MP rear camera. I'm not really familiar with this OS, and am still trying out it's capabilities.
My biggest issue with this isn't the device, but rather the limited options for cases and screen protectors. Since it's brand new, this should change as time passes, and users will find a lot more to choose from. I highly recommend this device.

It's surprisingly small and fairly light, only about half a pound in weight, but this is a quality device meant to easily take along for working on the go, or in your home office, yet it proves extremely useful. Even though it's clearly meant for business use, a college student might also want to try out this scanner, even if they don't need all of the accounting features. It comes with all the software you need get the most out of your documents once scanned. The software from Nuance helps with versatility in editing and searching through your files. I've used Nuance before, and found this version also easy to use. The included accounting software allows for the transfer of info from receipts to other programs like Excel.
I was surprised by two other things with this device- its speed in scanning and the lack of a power cord. It seems long, although not much wider than the page you're scanning, and rather narrow. The other good thing is that it doesn't require a power source or recharging. Just connect it to your computer with a USB cable, make sure you have an internet connection, and you can get started installing software and scanning. This increases the portability, since all you need is the device and a cable to take with you. You could even tuck it into a laptop bag, and add little in weight or bulk. The only thing it's missing is compatibility with mobile devices, although it does work with both Windows and Mac operating systems. Epson has made another reliable product, and I recommend this.

This portable speaker charges quickly and lasts a long time, up to 16 hours. It only comes with a short micro USB cable, about 1.5 feet long, but can be charged with another USB cable. You'll have to use your own plug, but that's not unusual these days, with options to plug multiple devices into one power source. It also comes with a reference guide, an instruction guide, and a 1 year warranty. The instructions are pictures only, but this device is easy to use. It's a sleek, attractive little speaker. It's also very light, but seems durable and well made.
In addition to the portability, one of the best features is the sound quality. Don't let its small size mislead you- it's a great little speaker. And it can be connected with another speaker for stereo sound. It's wireless, and pairs effortlessly to another device through Bluetooth with the push of a button. It also has volume and pause/play buttons so you can control it from the speaker as well as the connected device. It advertises that's it's waterproof and dust proof. I have no intention of dropping it in water to test this, but I feel more secure knowing I don't have to worry about it getting wet. It's supposed to be waterproof to a depth of over 3 feet for half a hour. This means you can take it with you outdoors and not have to worry about damage from water or dust. An attached strap adds to the versatility of the speaker. This item exceeds my needs and expectations.
