NOT WIRELESS but feature packed and Flexible

Ok, with security at an all-time high for both homeowners and business owners today, there are tons of systems to choose from. You’ve got several brand names offered from security companies installed systems, the big two big name companies offering a la carte security devices with paid monitoring, and then you got the store bought diy systems that offer prebuilt packaged systems with free self-monitoring and alerts. The Night Owl 10 channel 4K WiFi NVR security system is just that. This system comes complete with a 1 TB hard drive and 6 Wi-Fi IP 2K cameras and 10 channels allowing for added cameras when needed. I must mention that this system IS NOT WIRELESS as packaged. The included cameras are powered by AC adapters, BUT, has the capability to add true wireless cameras, so please keep that in mind when reading this and considering purchase. Setup is standard and easy enough as things go with self-guided animated bluetooth phone apps. Simply download the app, attach antennas and plug in DVR to power and ethernet, and then follow along and listen to instructions being given from the cameras and app.
So now I will start with the “WiFi IP AC powered Cameras”. The cameras are of great quality and feature packed, BUT, they are not wireless. They are powered with an AC to DC power adapter and must be plugged in to an electrical outlet for power. They are however connected to the NVR 1TB DVR via the systems dedicated and independent network. So essentially the cameras can be placed anywhere as long as there is a power source available and it is within range of the network. The cameras are built for indoor/outdoor placement with 100ft night vision and an 80 degree viewing angle which is okay, but I wish it was a little wider. The cameras include built in deterrent spotlight that can be activated by motion or via the Bluetooth app manually along with 2-way audio for listening or speaking just like the other big name brands. One feature that I greatly like is the microSD card slot on board the camera for backup of monitoring. This ensures that if there is spotty WiFi connection at any time, the camera is still recording. Although the cameras are not true wireless, I have grown to like this feature of AC power much better than the battery-operated cameras. For one, I do not have to get up to the camera and remove the battery every 20 -30 days to recharge it. I currently have 1 battery operated wireless camera and have had the battery die and not charge or replace the battery for several days. The only down fall is finding a suitable location for proper video surveillance while being close enough to an electrical outlet. For an outdoor home security system this is a preliminary problem for setup, but you can tap into or extend power from an existing outlet or junction box and run a short length of Romex wire to place an outlet where needed. I do recommend a certified electrician to perform this work for you. You can also drill a small hole through the wall and run the 9-10ft wire from the adapter to plug in to an outlet inside or just place the cameras inside near a window. Now if you are planning on getting this system for a business or indoor monitoring of your home, this is the easiest and perfect solution for that.
Now if you are willing to shell out some additional funds for some wireless cameras, the Night Owl system's Flex Protect ecosystem gives the ability to mix and match compatible wireless cameras with this system for a tailored security monitoring to meet any unique needs. I have yet to go this route but if I'm expanding coverage outdoors, monitoring specific zones, or enhancing indoor security, I know that I can do so with this system.
With the Bluetooth app and the Wi-Fi IP cameras, I was able to establish a connection between the cameras and my network, granting me access to real-time feeds and recorded footage. The 2K resolution of the cameras display a level of clarity and detail that's truly remarkable. I am able to identify facial features to almost deciphering license plate numbers depending on the distance. The app allows several features and settings of the cameras from the motion sensitivity to deterrent alerts from the spotlight or audible siren. It is also very easy to save and/or export recordings when needed.
In conclusion, the Night Owl 10 channel 4K WiFi NVR security system has added a new dimension and flexibility for home and business security systems. With its AC powered cameras, secure independent wireless network, effortless Bluetooth app setup, and the adaptive Flex Protect ecosystem, this system allows for growth and ease of setup. As a homeowner who values security and adaptability, I can confidently attest that Night Owl has delivered a solution that is second to none. For anyone seeking a comprehensive, customizable, and user-centric security system, the Night Owl 10 channel 4K WiFi NVR security system is an investment that will continue to pay for itself. Just remember that initially out of the box, it is AC powered cameras but can add additional wireless cameras if needed.

I recently added another headset to my gaming setup with the HyperX Cloud 3 Gaming Headphones and I have been impressed thus far. Spending so much time at my work/gaming station, I look specifically for comfort, performance, usability, adaptive compatibility with a little bit of style, and these headphones deliver on all fronts.
The HyperX Cloud 3 headphones provide a surprising level of comfort. The memory foam ear cushions and adjustable head band gently cradle my head and ears with no undue pressure. The ear cushions completely cover my ears eliminating any discomfort or fatigue. Even after hours of wear, I am still comfortable and not overwhelmed by warmth like from other headphones that I use. The adjustable headband ensures a perfect fit, and I hardly notice I'm wearing them.
The sound quality of the HyperX Cloud 3 headphones is where they truly shine. They come with 53mm drivers that deliver rich and immersive audio. They have the perfect balance between highs, mids, and lows allowing me to hear every detail with impressive clarity. The detachable mic is very flexible and sits at the perfect distance to be both out of the way and too far to be heard. Included is the built-in mute button and indicator which is a small yet incredibly useful feature. The red LED light on the detachable microphone is a clear and intuitive visual cue that lets me know when I'm muted. The braided cord is very long with a 3.5mm attachment placed about halfway allowing for free movement and quick detachment if I want to transition from pc to console in a snap. It is accompanied by a USB dongle and a USB-C to USB-A adapter allowing for cross platform compatibility. The USB dongle effortlessly harnesses the potential of the headphones' spatial audio capabilities, turning your gaming space into an auditory playground.
These headphones are a true masterpiece in terms of aesthetics. The sleek and modern design is very stylish with black matte and red brushed aluminum finish and subtle HyperX branding. The attention to detail is evident, and I love the combination of form and function that the HyperX Cloud 3 headphones bring to the table.

The Crucial T700 2TB SSD PCIe 5x4 NVMe with heatsink is a must have for gamers and creators alike. This SSD not only provides lightning-fast performance but also boasts an efficient cooling solution with its integrated heatsink.
Installation was a breeze, thanks to the easy-to-follow instructions available on Crucial’s website. Not only are there easy to follow instructions, but free cloning software to copy, duplicate, and/or delete your old drive. The SSD fit perfectly into my motherboard's M.2 slot with the heatsink securely attached without any issues. Crucial's reputation for reliability and quality shines through in the overall build and construction of this SSD.
The speed of this SSD is simply impressive. With its PCIe 5x4 interface, system boot and data transfers are lightning fast, resulting in significantly reduced loading times for applications and games. It is incredibly small and sleek, making it easy to fit into my bedroom without obstructing the space. Its minimalist design adds an aesthetic vibe to the room, blending seamlessly with any decor.
The HEPASilent filtration system effectively captures 99.97% of airborne pollutants, including dust, pet dander, pollen, and even microscopic particles. I can tell that the system is working because the automatic fan and filtration system automatically adjusts to when the air quality is compromised by perfumes, sprays, and cooking smells. I can already feel the difference in the air quality after just a few days of using it. My allergies have significantly reduced, I am able to sleep more soundly with less effort to breathe and I wake up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

After using it for a while, I can confidently say that it's a fantastic device that offers a great balance of features and performance for the price and it easily fits in with all that I have going on from the google Chromebook to google home and all the smart devices connected. It feels right at home!
First thing, set up was a breeze with just signing in with my google account and installing all my apps and settings seamlessly. The easiest transfer of apps and files I’ve ever had with a new phone. The phone is beautiful and feels good in hand. Not too big to overwhelm your hand holding for awhile but large enough with the 6.1 display to comfortably view any photo, video or app. The screen is also made with scratch proof gorilla glass which seems pretty durable from me testing with light scratching as I didn’t want to go full out and ruin my new phone. The display is also upgraded to the 90Hz screen which looks beautiful. It's a subtle but noticeable improvement over the standard 60Hz screens found on most smartphones, making everything feel smoother and more fluid. Combined with the Google Tensor G2 sensor which is found on all the other higher end Google phones, this phone excels in photos, speed, and security provided with Google’s ever improving AI “Hey Google”. The phone security is pretty intuitive with an added duo biometric sign in (face recognition and fingerprint sensor). You can also use a pin if you choose. To tie up the security, Google offers their free VPN which is a nice touch.
The front and rear cameras are both dynamic with a ton of features and settings that make every photo pop. Google Ai also does some automatic photo adjustments taking the guess work out of it. The low light or night sight feature is pretty decent once you get the hang of it for taking extremely low light photos. I do enjoy the super zoom which I will get a full test of at my daughter’s dance performance soon, however, some photos taken with the super zoom were a little grainy for my taste. But as I said, there are a ton of features and settings with the Google photos platform that may take some time to master.
Moving on to battery life, battery easily lasts a full day of use with moderate to heavy usage. There is an Extreme Battery Saver setting that can extend life up to over a day or two. I used it pretty heavily the first day and still had battery left to spare. But in a pinch the phone allows for rapid charging, and I got a full charge with only 10% remaining battery in about 1 ½ hours. That is impressive for the size battery. In addition to fast charging, this phone has been upgraded with wireless charging.
This is a convenient feature that's becoming more and more common on high-end smartphones, and the Pixel 7a is no exception. I found that it's fast and efficient, and it works seamlessly with compatible wireless charging pads. It's a small touch, but one that makes a big difference in day-to-day usage.

The call quality is very good with clear voice, but I usually use some type of ear buds to make calls which I think negates the call feature built into the phone. Otherwise the phone does make clear calls.
There are a ton more features that I am having fun exploring and learning with Google assistant.. All in all, I would highly recommend the Google Pixel 7a to anyone looking for a solid mid-range smartphone with excellent camera quality, wireless charging, good battery life, a smooth 90Hz screen, and more than adequate processing power. It's a well-rounded device that's definitely worth considering and is priced just right.

Beautiful, Vintage, and Powerful

The Marshall Stanmore 3 Bluetooth Speaker is a simplistic but aesthetically vintage inspired designed speaker. The speaker is straight forward and user friendly with minimal or basic controls (Power toggle switch, vintage turn knobs for volume, bass, treble, and a rocker switch for play controls. Bluetooth works great allowing you to connect it to your tablet, laptop, or cell phone. There are also AUX 3.5mm input jack and rca inputs for an additionally vintage feel and sound.
The first thing I loved about the Marshall Stanmore 3 is its classic, vintage look that's reminiscent of the iconic Marshall guitar amps. It has a black textured vinyl covering that looks great with any décor and feels sturdy. The woven grille with golden trim and controls adds a touch of elegance to the design. The speaker is a little big with some weight but compact enough in size that makes it easy to fit on a shelf, entertainment center, or desk.
The sound quality of this speaker is very soothing to the ears. It produces a well-balanced full spectrum and clear sound. The speaker has a powerful bass response without overwhelming the midrange and highs. The sound easily fills any room with enough volume and is still able to produce soothing sounds in a small room at low volume. I actually enjoy using this speaker in my bedroom to play soothing rain sounds to fall asleep to. The Sound produced is very realistic and I was able to play at a low enough volume to make the speaker placement inconspicuous on my shelf but still fill the room satisfactorily.
When playing some old school tunes it almost had that vintage vinyl sound that some audiophiles love. I absolutely love this speaker. The only thing that would make it perfect is if it came with a rechargeable battery and handle to make it portable. But of course, this was made with a vintage Marshall feel for home theatre which it excels.

JVC a long competitor in the music business has put out some very competitive wireless earbuds with these Marshmallow plus. They are small but come packed with a powerful punch!
I love the case that is included that doubles as a charging station for extended use with up to 28 hours which is an honest assessment. I have been using these earbuds for days on a single initial charge while always placing the buds back in the case after each use. I have yet to charge the case after several days of use for music, phone calls, and a very light gaming. The case is a hard plastic that protects the earbuds from the elements even though they are rated as "rain proof". I have dropped my case a few times and the ear buds have flew out when the case top opened up on impact, so I guess I wish the case was a little more secure with a stronger magnet, but it is still a very impressive case with small size.
Speaking of small, these earbuds are small in size which helps keep them inconspicuous when wearing. This does not take away from the powerful beat hitting sounds that they produce! It's hard to find a good pair of wireless earbuds that hit hard for a good price. These are it. Full spectrum of highs and lows, clear voice, deep bass, and VOLUME. These buds get LOUD and do not distort very much if at all. I cant even listen for very long at the highest level because they get that loud. My previous buds had to be turned almost all the way up to get the desired sound.
They come with the traditional silicon varying size ear pieces to get the perfect fit but also come with the oh so comfortable memory foam ear pieces. I keep the memory foam ear pieces installed on mine. They fit perfect and are very comfortable for long use without over heating of the ear canal. The memory foam also block out all ambient noise to where I could only wear one ear bud so I could hear people speaking to me or just to feel safe when moving around. They are very similar to the safety foam ear pieces used on construction sites or gun range. There is a setting to allow ambient noise in via the touch controls, but that setting automatedly lowers the volume output to undesirable level.
The touch controls are alright but a bit confusing for multiple taps on either the left or right bud. I just find my wanted settings initially and leave them set. These buds are awesome for music, streaming your favorite shows or movie, and gaming. Phone calls are a little miss as the person on the other end can hear all background noise so I'm assuming the mic is not noise cancelling. The low latency feature is hit or miss. Sometimes it seems to work fine for gaming but video phone calls seem to be dubbed sometimes looking at the person and hearing their voice a fraction of a second later.
I'm not too concerned for that because the music quality is so above average and powerful for such a small form factor. The memory foam ear pieces set it off with the added comfort. A good pair of buds for the music enthusiast.
