I suffer from Meniere's Disease, and I have mild hearing loss in my right ear. The sound that I do receive through my ear canal is what I would describe as sound coming from a "blown speaker". Not great for someone who really enjoys music, but that's life. I have no idea if bone conduction _should_ help someone with my condition, but my perception is that it does in my case. I heard good quality sound.
The headset connected via Bluetooth easily with my phone - zero issues. I have not yet tried connecting via NFC.
The headset has a lot of great features for listening to audio and controlling your phone's media player. Playing a song, pausing a song, skipping to the next song, etc. is all facilitated via two buttons.
In summary:
Pros: Light headset with pretty intuitive controls. Great audio quality. Very stable on the head during activity (Peloton, running, etc.).
Cons: I have not found any yet

I have been using a GoPro HERO8 Black for a while now, and like its features. But when I saw the HERO9 feature set, I knew it was for me. The HERO9 provides about 30 percent more battery life. Perhaps that does not seem like a great deal, but it gets me up to or better than an hour of 4K recording time. Still image quality is over 20 megapixels (23.6 to be exact), which provides for stunning images. Add SuperPhoto to the mix, and you are guaranteed that "just right" shot. 5K is also a new feature for the HERO9 if you want even higher resolution video. For me, 4K is plenty good, and I like to ability to set the digital zoom for my specific applications without losing significant resolution. Another new feature is HyperSmooth 3.0. It finds and sets the horizon so that your videos are not just the smoothest ever, but they are also level and aligned with the horizon. Depending on your specific use, HindSight could be beneficial. The camera samples and maintains video for 30 seconds prior to you beginning to record.
GoPro is introducing a yet-wider angle lens. My use-case would benefit from a slight zoom lens rather than the digital zoom feature (which impacts the video resolution). I hope such a lens is in the making!
There are many, many more features added to the HERO9, and I’d encourage you to check them out to see if they would address any gaps or limitations that your current camera may have for your particular situation.

Just because a product is powered by batteries does not mean it will not perform. The LG CordZero Bagless Cordless Stick Vac with Kompressor Technology is proof of that. We got this primarily for our carpeted stairs, where dragging a power cord around is undesirable (and potentially dangerous). I should mention that we have three dogs in the house, so picking up pet fur was a must - and it did that very well.
Power was not an issue with this vacuum. Carpet pile stood up after use! A nice practical feature is a combination storage and charging stand. It has a boost mode for increased power/suction, but you would not want to use this continuously since the mode consumes a lot of power and therefore reduces the runtime obtained from a single battery. Speaking of batteries... this model comes with two, which makes larger vacuuming tasks easier to accomplish without running out of power.
Well-designed product by LG! I recommend it for anyone like us who have good solutions for upstairs and downstairs, but were struggling to find the perfect solution for stairs.

I used this tonight in my first cleaning using the Hoover SmartWash Pet Complete carpet cleaner. The results were outstanding. The look and smell of the carpet when I finished was really nice. I would recommend it for families that have both carpet and pets!

I will say that I presently own and had been using a competitor's carpet cleaner (aka "the tank"), and the Hoover SmartWash Pet Complete absolutely runs circles around it. It is light, yet does a great job in both putting down the carpet cleaning solution and vacuuming up the remaining liquid / dirt residue from the carpet. Lighter means it's easier to push in order to apply the shampoo and water mixture, and also to pull in order to vacuum the liquid residue (and pet hair!) from the carpet. I've had two spinal surgeries, so a lighter device that does a better job than "the tank" means it will be used more frequently and without reservation. And without a sore back afterwards.
Beyond what I've already mentioned, Hoover reimagined what a carpet cleaner should be. One that is simple: No measuring and mixing the cleaner with water. Just fill the water tank, and ensure there is Hoover cleaning solution in the separate cleaning solution tank on the cleaner, and you're ready to go. One that Deep Cleans: based on my initial use tonight, it truly deep cleans the carpet - after making a pass over my carpet, it looks like new again and smells great!
We have three miniature long-haired Dachshunds, and accidents do happen. To treat those, there is a separate "spot chaser" pre-treat wand that makes short work out of those areas. On my next use, I plan to clean a couple of fabric covered chairs in our living room with the included antimicrobial pet tool.
Hoover markets this cleaner to be "as easy as vacuuming". I can attest that this is truly the case and not just marketing-speak. Every cleaner needs to be emptied, the brushes cleaned, etc when the job of cleaning the carpet is done. Any parts that need to be removed for this effort were carefully thought out so that they are very easily removed, cleaned and reinstalled. This makes the cleanup of the machine much less of a chore than any other machine I've used in the past.
There are two things that would have made the product even better. One is to have provided a slightly longer power cord. As provided, the cord is long enough to clean within a reasonably-sized room, but not much longer. Another 6-8 feet of power cord would have provided a bit more cleaning flexibility. The other thing is that the power cord exits the cleaner from the back of the machine near the very bottom. Having to reach down and keep the cord in your hand when backing the machine does not help a bad back. It would have been better (for folks in my situation at least) if the cord exited the machine a bit higher so that it was not necessary to bend over to manage the cord when backing.
That said, the Hoover SmartWash Pet Complete Automatic Carpet Cleaner is a revolutionary improvement in carpet cleaners. It is really apparent that they did a lot of thinking about how to deliver a much better design than other carpet cleaners available today.
Nicely done, Hoover, nicely done.

I just received this a day or two ago, and popped it open today. Nice and simple: a box containing a mouse, a USB cable, a USB interface, and a thumb rest for left-handed use. Oh, and instructions, warranty guide, and a rather thick "Safety and Compliance Information" booklet.
I charged the mouse via the USB cable, and after the charging was complete I plugged in the USB adapter and switched on the mouse. Immediately, Windows 10 recognized the mouse and I was in business. I downloaded the iCUE software and created a profile with my preferences. You have really good control over the lighting, and can use it in a variety of ways. I like mine just plain simple blue. Among other things in the profile, you set your preferred three mouse speeds that you can toggle through, along with your preferred "sniper" speed.
One clarification to the Best Buy description of this mouse... When they say "with Qi® Wireless Charging", this means that the mouse SUPPORTS Qi wireless charging. In order to take advantage of it, you will need their mouse pad that provides the Qi wireless charging. That is a separate product, and is not included with the mouse.
With that caveat, this is a great mouse with the latest and greatest optical sensor to help your gaming be even better with unfettered movement.

The initial experience I had with ibi was upon opening the package. Absolutely simplicity of setup! Download the ibi app on the phone, plug the device into an AC outlet, give it about one minute to wake up and go through its initialization, and then the app walks you through the process of getting ibi on your WiFi network and copying photos from your phone to ibi . It is literally that simple. ibi is small and unobtrusive, requiring a tiny amount of footprint on our kitchen countertop.
I got this for my wife, who loves to take photos using her iPhone. After that, it is nearly impossible to find what she wants to share unless it happens to be in the past few days. After getting ibi setup on our network, the app went to work loading her photos from the phone to ibi. ibi is much more than a phone photo archive though. It can preserve photos that are posted via social media, as well as photos on a network connected PC. Basically one-stop-shopping in terms of backup, organization, and sharing.
ibi will give us a shot at finally organizing our photos in an intuitive manner!

My previous headsets were, um let's just say they were a "few" years old. Older than I care to admit. When I began thinking about what I wanted in a replacement headset, wireless was at the top of the list. The Elite Atlas Aero from Turtle Beach had all the features that I was looking for - and a few more.
A metal headband should ensure a long life, and also provides a secure fit. The gel cushions are quite comfortable even after lengthy use. Another nice touch is that the earpieces articulate, so they tend to seat onto your ears naturally without a lot of adjustment. They also appear to be leather wrapped for long life. The specs say battery life is about 30 hours, but I haven't gotten that far yet.
In short, there's a lot of features in this headset for the price. I recommend them if you are looking to replace or upgrade your current headset.

I had been "blessed" with muscle spasms in my upper back since my mid-30s, and nothing I've found has been able to address them. This is my new hope! Initial results are good - the unit is more powerful than other much less expensive items I've tried. If you are in my situation, I recommend you give this one a try!

I replaced another wireless mouse with the Logitech G703 Hero. The prior mouse had issues of going to sleep for anywhere from 5 to 15 seconds while gaming, which is not conducive to a good k/d ratio.
ZERO complaints about the G703. I just received it today, and spent the afternoon gaming - purely in the spirit of research, of course. I had no dropouts whatsoever. The mouse performed well, and made for a good experience.
The G703 has a great feel to it - light, but not too light, in the hand. It also has adjustable movement speed so that I can select the movement speed that works best for me, as everyone is different in their preferences.
I highly recommend this mouse. No lag, no issues, A solid wireless mouse that helps remove clutter from your desk.

I have a very strong wifi network password: made up of several words and spaces, etc. During the setup process it told me it did not support such passwords.
Now, this is not unusual. It is standard WPA2, and I have many devices (computers, phone, printers, etc) that can handle the password just fine.
Thus the WeMo is useless.

New firmware

I just bought a WeMo outlet today, and was concerned that I would have problems with my WPA2/AES encryption. I was able to connect initially, but couldn't power the outlet on or off via my iPhone. After a few minutes, the iPhone application indicated that there was a new firmware update, which I applied and now the device works correctly. Not sure this will address your issue, but thought I'd throw it out there.

I bought this product thinking it would make timer settings and remote control of my light easy, but the iOS app was hard to use for scheduling and the connection was always a hit and miss, not reliable at all. I returned the product after using it for a week. I will wait for future releases.

Hi Whacknut, IFTTT will likely do what you want to do. Check out http://www.ifttt.com. I'm using it in conjunction with my WeMo Switches to turn heaters on and off on my boat when the marina temperature gets near freezing. It's a pretty slick tool.

I am an experienced and careful drone operator on typhoon and Dji models. Once it flew away on its own, unobstructed at an altitude of 160' only 9 minutes into a new battery over park land and lakes. Needless to say, I can't recommend this drone with the per flight cost I had! It was only 3 days old. Once it flew away, I went online and was floored by the number of DJI Drone owners with the same experience. I would have reconsidered buying such a new release.
Without a crashed drone I have no recourse. Nothing. I'm out $1500.

I'll start with the design. In typical HP fashion, the aesthetics really hit the mark for me. The Ash Silver aluminum frame is complemented by Gold (colored) trim.
The display is a 3000 x 2000 IPS panel with touchscreen (and a pen for good measure). Screen sharpness and intensity is very appealing to my eye, at least. The backlit keyboard attaches with magnets, and has a nice retention feel. It folds nicely and makes for a "laptop-like" look, or may be detached and used solely as a tablet.
Internal I/O is headlined by a PCI Express 3.0 SSD (aka NVM Express), which makes overall system performance really pop. This drive is approximately 3x the speed of standard SATA III SSDs, and the latency is much lower with NVMe. There are two USB 3.1 Type C ports, a headphone/mic jack, and a micro-SD slot for external I/O. Bluetooth and integrated WiFi are also included as part of the overall I/O.
Battery life is pretty reasonable given the attractive form-factor, yielding about 8 hours of use from a full charge.
This is a solidly designed product, typical of HP design standards, and given its performance should serve me well for a few years to come.

To the best of my knowledge, this is not a replaceable battery. It's a lithium ion battery that is internal to the doorbell and should be good for thousands of charge/discharge cycles.

No. I believe the cable that comes with the set is 9', which worked well for me, but my television and supporting components are located close to one another.

What is the max load it will handle? Can it control a window air conditioner (120 V, 12 Amps)
This is a great question that I have not been able to get an answer for. However, from an engineering perspective, we could deduce that since the outlet plugs into a 120VAC 15A-capable outlet, it should be able to handle that same level of current output. So if I were a betting man, I'd say it should support your application.

Does this require a monthly service fee?
Short answer: no. In your home, the device connects to your WiFi. However, you can also sign up for an IFFFT account and control your device from the cloud using a myriad of internet-based data. That account is also free, and one of the reasons I bought the device since it will be located far away from my home.

does this wemo support devices which wok on 220-240v
The outlet is designed to plug into a three-pronged 120VAC 15A style outlet. Its electronics are also powered off the outlet it plugs into, so I don't think I'd try powering off a 220/240VAC source.
