here's a change

"Touched" is the the song that originally drew me to this album. And, I am definitely happy that I checked it out. Reading some of its reviews before I bought it, I saw that Lars from Metallica said that this is one of the best debut albums that he had heard in a while. After listening to the entire album, I would agree with Lars. The sound is different, and the style is rare, which makes it pleasing to the ears.
For the layout of the album, I love the first four songs. The others are pretty good, but I could almost put the first four on repeat.
What's great about it: very different from your typical new rock
What's not so great: some of the songs sound similar
I would recommend this to a friend!

Of all of NIN's albums, this is definitely my favorite. Other albums may have had better singles than this album did, but overall, I love this album's flow. It almost seems as if each song is fused to the next. My favorite of the album is "Meet Your Master", which I would put in the top five NIN songs of all time (at least my list).
This album is a definite buy for any NIN fan, or first time listener of NIN.
What's great about it: smooth flow from one song to another
What's not so great: it ended

Precision gameplay is now a hands-length away. The Wii Nunchuk Controller is used in conjunction with the Wii Remote and connects easily via the expansion port to get you into the swing of things. When combined, the input device duo becomes your sword and shield to combat charging assailants, your defense against a brawny linebacker and so much more. Because the Wii Remote and Nunchuk Controller are relatively dependent on each other, feel free to hold each controller in whichever hand is most comfortable. The ambidextrous design grants matchless accessibility for greater control over gameplay.Formulated with the same motion-sensing technology enabled in the Wii Remote controller, but with an analog stick to assist in character movement, the Wii Nunchuk thrusts you into a fully immersive gaming experience. In several games, you can use the analog stick to move your playable character, while the Wii Remote performs a specific action, such as throwing a pass or aiming a weapon, for the utmost in teamwork. Contoured perfectly to fit in the palm of your hand, the Nunchuk Controller is also equipped with conveniently located buttons for lightning-quick access.

You'll need this item

If you play Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy, Resident Evil 4, Madden 08, or many of the other Wii games, you're going to need this item, more than likely. Even though you just spent $40 on the Wii remote, you'll have to spend $20 on this nunchuk. But hey, Nintendo's got to make money. Overall, this item is worth the price just based on the fact that it adds some control factors such as a joystick, two more buttons, and its motion sensored, which is very nice.
Not much negative about the nunchuk, other than a package deal with the Wii remote would be nice.
What's great about it: adds control
What's not so great: hmmm.......maybe a package deal with the Wii remote

Having a bad day? Do what I do, pop this cd in and away we go. But be careful in the car, this cd is pure adrenaline and speed. Lots of good rock riffs and violent vocals. The best thing is that it covers the entire span of Limp Bizkit, so if you dig any of their music, you'll be pleased.
What's great about it: Good Ole Road Rage Music
What's not so great: may lead to tickets (speeding or wreckless driving)

Tops my list of current cd's. I'm not a super huge fan of Radiohead, but I do own some of their older stuff. And I honestly believe that this cd can hang with their older music. Parts of this cd touch brilliance, and obviously each person is going to have their favorites. My favorites were songs #5 All I Need, #6 FAUST ARP, and #7 Reckoner.
What's great about it: almost all the songs are very good
What's not so great: couple of the songs I could do without

one of my top five movies

Gunna keep this short and sweet. Didn't love the movie the first time. But, it kept coming on Cinemax and HBO, and I kept watching it. Before I knew it, I was looking at HBO's schedule to see when it was coming on again. Now I own the DVD and I probably watch it once every week or two. The cast could not have been picked any better, especially Ray Winstone as French. This is definitely one of my favorite gangster movies, if not the favorite.
What's great about it: Look at the cast!
What's not so great: none to think of

Probably one of the most honored epics on recent television, HBO's mini-series Band of Brothers was produced by the powerhouse team of Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. It won the Golden Globe for Best Mini-series and is nominated for 19 Emmys. The 6-disc DVD set comes in an embossed metallic case. It has an extraordinary amount of information in addition to the 10-part true-life story of the men of Easy Company in the 506th Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. To start with, it contains the documentary "We Stand Alone Together: The Men of Easy Company," which interviews the real men of Easy Company as they tell their stories, inner-cut with film footage and rare and archival photos. Also included is a making-of feature on the mini-series, actor Ron Livingston's video diary that shows behind-the-scenes footage from the actor's perspective, and a featurette of the screening on the beaches of Normandy. There is also an optional enhanced viewing "Field Guide," which extensively references people, places and events connected to Easy Company and their campaign through Europe and WWII as a whole. Additionally included are character bios, web-links to the Band of Brothers living memorial, as well as other pertinent sites, a still photo gallery, episodic previews and scene selection menus. The DVD is released in widescreen only with a 16:9 aspect ratio from High Definition digital masters, the audio is DTS English and 5.1 Surround as well as English, French and Spanish Dolby Surround. Spanish subtitles and English closed-captioning is also included. This is a must-own DVD set, especially for history buffs and collectors of World War II information.

MUST HAVE for any military movie fan. Honestly, the best DVD or DVD set I have ever bought. Even my wife loves all of the episodes (and she doesn't dig military movies). Its an amazing story that shows a lot of the struggles of a soldier. But, my favorite part of the entire set is the older guys (vets) talking about the war.
What's great about it: Entertaining and Long
What's not so great: some stuff not appropriate for kids

Show me a better than average game for $20 and you have my attention. Solid gameplay with a decent soundtrack for the gameplay. I wasn't sure about the game at first, but now I'm definitely glad I bought it. Lots of levels with a lot of difficulty through some of the levels.
What's great about it: PRICE and gameplay
What's not so great: none

Top Level for Wii
on January 20, 2008

TOPS, TOPS, TOPS, the list for the Wii. I have approximately 10 games for the Wii, and I compared all of them against Twilight Princess before I bought them. I wasn't much of a Zelda fan until this game. But now, I'm in. If you're wanting a game that pulls you in and entertains your gaming desire, there's no better choice than this. Also, you may get hung up along the way. My advice, do an internet search for a Twilight Princess walkthrough and it'll help (a lot).
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Takes a while, but that's good if you enjoy the game

how many tv inputs does the tv need to have to be able to play the wii

You only need one input. Yet, the one input should be the yellow/red/white input. Sometimes, you'll only have a yellow and a white input. The yellow is the video, and the white & red are the audio. If you don't have these, you'll have to get your hands on a coax converter, which hooks you into the 'threaded' device on the back of the tv, cable box, etc.

Hope this helps.....

Set up?

Is the Wii difficult to set up? Im not very tech talented.
Not at all. Its very simple and basic. Your 2 biggest questions will be if you want the Wii to be on its side or up. Then, where will you want the sensor bar. For me, I have the Wii in its stand, which is included in the box. And, I have the sensor bar at the bottom of my TV. Then, just plug in the power cable. And, finally hook up your red/white/yellow jacks to your TV. Congrats! Your now gaming like never before. Other than what I've mentioned, everything else is explained in the booklets that come with your Wii.
Hope this helps.

what is best deal for family of 7

Want to buy Wii console for Christmas, want to know what is best deal for our family of 7 ages 2-47. How many extra controller should I get (up to 4) ? Recommended games for beginners?
My advice, or what I did was as follows: buy Wii console, which comes with 1 controller and 1 nunchuk; buy Wii Play, which comes with a game and a controller (so the game is basically $10); buy an extra nunchuk; and, two extra controllers are luxuries, not necessarily must-haves, but you'll probably want them eventually (so that's ultimately up to you)

As for games for beginners, I would recommend WarioWare Smooth Moves. Which, its kinda goofy but still very fun, especially for the younger bunch. A newer game that TONS of people seem to like is Wii Sports Resort. It comes with a Wii MotionPlus accessory, which makes the Wii Remote more sensitive and accurate. If you get that game, I advise that you pick up another Wii MotionPlus accessory, which is $20. And, another favorite is Mario Kart Wii. A great racing game, and its definitely one of my favorites.

Hope this helps.

wii fit vs. wii fit plus

is there a difference betwee the wii fit and wii fit plus?
Wii Fit Plus offers the same package as Wii Fit (the original). Wii Fit Plus has the same workouts as Wii Fit, but with a few extra workouts. Your best bet would be to get Wii Fit Plus.

Other games compatible with Beatles R.B instruments

I just bought Beatles Rock Band Value Pack for my kids for christmas and I was wondering if the instruments and microphone is compatible with any Hero games? When I bought the bundle for Wii I was told they would work but now I have heard differently... really irritating. Stupid to have more than one set of instruments lying around.
I'm pretty sure that the Rock Band Beatles equip does not work with Guitar Hero games. However, the Guitar Hero equip works with Rock Band Beatles and Rock Band 2. But, not Rock Band (the original). My advice, would be to take back the Value Pack (if it isn't open), buy the Guitar Hero World Tour set for $99 (a lot of retailers have it for this amount, but not sure about Best Buy), buy the Rock Band Beatles software, and enjoy the tunes. All said and done, you should come out around the same price with an extra game. Rock Band's web page has a compatibility chart if you wanna check for sure. Hope this helps.
