Wow, what a disappointment

I found this product on sale for $12.99. So, I immediately ordered the last two from my local store. Bad idea......... It would not stay connected with the phone. And, it usually would not connect with the phone. I have a S7 Active, and my wife has an Edge. It was the same results for both of us. I was so excited to get this charger. Then, it turned out to be one of my most disappointing purchases. Now I know why this item was on sale. Such a shame.
Next time, I'll spend the extra $ for the regular charging pad.

The 2.4 GHz connection of this HP wireless mouse ensures instant communication with your laptop or desktop computer, eliminating lag and errant clicks.

great idea, good result

To be fair, I really do like the concept of this game. Take an alien suit, and become a super soldier roaming around with a compound bow. Including the following perks: stealth, super strength, super armor, etc. However, the game has been glitchy, and the campaign is pretty short. As for the online aspect, I've enjoyed it greatly. Yet, there are just too few of people online playing it on the Xbox 360. $60 is a bit steep for this game. I recommend picking it up when it gets down to the $30 range. I know most people will enjoy this game, but they'll enjoy it more for less dough.

Far Cry 3 is an open world first-person shooter set on an island unlike any other. A place where heavily armed warlords traffic in slaves. Where outsiders are hunted for ransom. And as you embark on a desperate quest to rescue your friends, you realize that the only way to escape this darkness — is to embrace it.

Mass confusion in a wild, wild world

This is my first experience with the Far Cry series, and I'm greatly enjoying it. Its a great game with TONS to do. From the main quest to the side adventures, you'll always be busy. A few helpful tips are as follows. First off, you always have to watch your back. Enemies are numerous and always around. Stealth and your ability to sneak, are your best assets. So, get familiar with your bow & arrows. Secondly, be sure to check out your cyber surroundings. Spending time harvesting the wildlife and plantlife in the game will prove extremely beneficial when you want larger loot rucksacks, medicines, etc. Thirdly, this isn't a game for kids. Tons of violence and language for the appropriate audiences. Lastly, as for the online element, I can't say. I have yet to try the online features, because I've enjoyed the Singleplayer gameplay so much. Which, speaks volumes about this game. Because, I would consider myself more of an online player. Overall, I highly recommend this game to any gamer, of appropriate age.
What's great about it: Always something to do
What's not so great: Slight repetition in some gameplay

Good game that's a tad over-priced. $20-$30 is probably a better range. Most people who get this game have already downloaded it as an app on their phones. Like me. But, there are a few things that I highly enjoy about this game. First, there's a button designated to 'retry' a level. Second, no 'ads' whatsoever. Yes, I realize that's only a small fee for Iphones and Droids. Thirdly, and most importantly, I dig the gameplay on a 40 inch tv screen. Nothing against my Droid, but, sometimes bigger is better. The graphics and sound are great.
So in conclusion,
Buy this game if you have an extra $40 to spend. If not, wait a few months til it drops.
What's great about it: Ummmm....... you can now play it while you're in your recliner
What's not so great: Oh wait, you could play it while you were in your recliner already

great movie about the ONE and ONLY book

This movie instantly became one of my favorites from the first time I watched it. For one thing, its an apocalyptic setting, which I love. Secondly, its Denzel Washington as the good guy, and Gary Oldman as the bad guy. Those two actors are enough to carry a movie, regardless of the supporting cast. Yet, the supporting cast was very good as well. Thirdly, the movie had a great twist, which is noticed at the end. I won't describe, because I don't want to spoil it for you. But, I will say even though I know what the twist is, I still have watched this movie 5+ times since my first viewing. Great movie.

I only gave this item 4 stars because my daughter has had two Leapster Explorers. The first one locked up on Christmas morning, and continued to lock up until we could exchange it. Luckily, Santa left a receipt. But, the new one that she has now is working great. And, so far, she absolutely loves it. The main comparison for the Leapster Explorer for me would be the Nintendo DS. I watched my little girl play with a family member's DS during her initial Leapster crisis, and she enjoyed it. But, she seems to enjoy the Leapster even more due to her age. Plus, the Leapster Explorer is half the price of the cheapest Nintendo DS. The games that she has are fun and inviting. Most of all, THEY'RE EDUCATIONAL. The 'Tangled' game seems to be very fun.
As for its durablility, its been dropped already and its still ticking. As for its 'usability', its very easy to grasp. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase that I, errr I mean Santa, made.
What's great about it: educational, and cheaper price than Nintendo DS
What's not so great: 1st one locked up; hope it was a fluke

Great game for all. You don't have to be a gamer to enjoy this one. My wife and daughter love, love, love it. And, even though I don't play it, I still get a kick out of watching them try to 'bust a move', lol. This game is good for social gatherings with friends and family members, because you will all be able to tease each other after spectating their various dance moves. In addition, the option of downloading new songs is a nice touch.

another hit in the Call of Duty series

The first thing I did when I played this was to compare Black Ops with Modern Warfare 2. In my opinion, I liked the campaign on MW2 better more initially but eventually leaned my interest towards BO. The extras as far as Zombies mode and the hidden games on the main menu are a VERY nice touch.
As for the online version, BO has very awesome online maps. Plus, everything in the online version is for purchase. Want a new gun with a snazzy new purple crosshair instead of a red dot? Well, go buy one.
Another thing I noticed is that there are a lot less 'quirks' in these online maps. In MW2, you would find people on ledges, in rocks, flying out of the map, etc. I have yet to run across anyone doing anything like this on BO. Plus, BO's multiplayer's seems far less glitchy. Obviously, lag will always be an issue, but it seems to have been trimmed.
Overall, great purchase.
What's great about it: no Stopping Power, game feels simpler
What's not so great: I liked the guns in Modern Warfare 2 more

Fantastic Game

Being new to this game and the XBox 360, I was fairly unsure about what this game had to offer. But, now that I own it, I love it.
My three favorite things about this game are as follows: online, online, and online. Of all the internet gaming i've done, this is by far my most enjoyable experience. As soon as you buy this game, please make sure you've got your XBox Gold Membership up and running, or else you'll miss out.
As for the gameplay, its laid out perfectly and you have a ton of different weapons at your fingertips. The scenery is awesome, and it changes constantly. So, don't worry about getting bored. As I stated above, the campaign is kinda short, but thats a small price to pay for the entire package.
As for controls, the controller set-up is pretty easy to figure out, and eventually will become instinctive for you. I own a Wii and was VERY used to the motion and point controller, but I still got used to the 360's controller set-up for this game pretty quick. So, seasoned 360 owners should have no issues.
Some requirements that I recommend: XBox Gold, a good headset, and a wireless controller. Energy drinks are optional because you'll be playing into the wee early hours of the morning, lol. Other than that, don't sweat getting 'waxed' when you first start playing. There's a learning curve that everyone has to endure.
**Note** Please do not buy this game for a kid. There's already enough kiddos who are online playing this that use profanity constantly. 15/16 year olds and above should play this game.
What's great about it: online gameplay
What's not so great: campaign is kinda short

how many tv inputs does the tv need to have to be able to play the wii

You only need one input. Yet, the one input should be the yellow/red/white input. Sometimes, you'll only have a yellow and a white input. The yellow is the video, and the white & red are the audio. If you don't have these, you'll have to get your hands on a coax converter, which hooks you into the 'threaded' device on the back of the tv, cable box, etc.

Hope this helps.....

Set up?

Is the Wii difficult to set up? Im not very tech talented.
Not at all. Its very simple and basic. Your 2 biggest questions will be if you want the Wii to be on its side or up. Then, where will you want the sensor bar. For me, I have the Wii in its stand, which is included in the box. And, I have the sensor bar at the bottom of my TV. Then, just plug in the power cable. And, finally hook up your red/white/yellow jacks to your TV. Congrats! Your now gaming like never before. Other than what I've mentioned, everything else is explained in the booklets that come with your Wii.
Hope this helps.

what is best deal for family of 7

Want to buy Wii console for Christmas, want to know what is best deal for our family of 7 ages 2-47. How many extra controller should I get (up to 4) ? Recommended games for beginners?
My advice, or what I did was as follows: buy Wii console, which comes with 1 controller and 1 nunchuk; buy Wii Play, which comes with a game and a controller (so the game is basically $10); buy an extra nunchuk; and, two extra controllers are luxuries, not necessarily must-haves, but you'll probably want them eventually (so that's ultimately up to you)

As for games for beginners, I would recommend WarioWare Smooth Moves. Which, its kinda goofy but still very fun, especially for the younger bunch. A newer game that TONS of people seem to like is Wii Sports Resort. It comes with a Wii MotionPlus accessory, which makes the Wii Remote more sensitive and accurate. If you get that game, I advise that you pick up another Wii MotionPlus accessory, which is $20. And, another favorite is Mario Kart Wii. A great racing game, and its definitely one of my favorites.

Hope this helps.

Other games compatible with Beatles R.B instruments

I just bought Beatles Rock Band Value Pack for my kids for christmas and I was wondering if the instruments and microphone is compatible with any Hero games? When I bought the bundle for Wii I was told they would work but now I have heard differently... really irritating. Stupid to have more than one set of instruments lying around.
I'm pretty sure that the Rock Band Beatles equip does not work with Guitar Hero games. However, the Guitar Hero equip works with Rock Band Beatles and Rock Band 2. But, not Rock Band (the original). My advice, would be to take back the Value Pack (if it isn't open), buy the Guitar Hero World Tour set for $99 (a lot of retailers have it for this amount, but not sure about Best Buy), buy the Rock Band Beatles software, and enjoy the tunes. All said and done, you should come out around the same price with an extra game. Rock Band's web page has a compatibility chart if you wanna check for sure. Hope this helps.
