Plenty of Gameplay and Cinematics (and Horror)

I purchased this well after it was initially released, and once I began, I regretted not getting it sooner.
I'm impressed with the realistic graphics, and I think it suits the type of game rather well. It definitely pushes the PS4 to its limits and runs at 30 frames per second, though it can occasionally dip just a small amount.
My girlfriend and I both play it together. That is to say, she controls everything that's going on, and I watch. What's great is that there's enough of a cinematic experience that I am enjoying watching it just as much as she is playing it.
And there are plenty of scares throughout. I can count how many times my girlfriend has screamed or jumped. There are many creepy moments when it's not attempting to jump-scare you.
Once my girlfriend is finished, I will get to run through all of it again but with different decisions which will create a nearly entirely different story and outcome. This is one feature taken from the likes of Heavy Rain but that Until Dawn does so much better. Every choice matters.
Don't pass this game up if you enjoy horror games or even movies.

Before I owned this TV, I had an LG 47-inch 1080p 3D TV. Though I said I'd never need to go bigger, I needed to go bigger. I like and trust the LG brand, so I was certain I'd get an LG TV, and ended up choosing this one, having in mind that it would last me several years.
The primary reason for picking up this TV was for how long it could last me. Namely, the size and the resolution. A 65-inch screen is perfect for me, someone who watches a lot of movies and plays a lot of games. Though it's a 4K TV, it can scale to 1080p perfectly.
Unfortunately, there isn't much support for 4K at this moment in time, and it's clear why: 4K is massive. Current Blu-Ray technology in the hands of consumers doesn't support files as large as these for media such as movies and games, so the only support we have right now is broadcasting and streaming. Then there's the data rate and bandwidth for cable through much of the U.S.; it's lacking and hardly measures up to the average of many other countries. This results in some artifacting when watching fast-moving or very fluid pictures. But I'll stop there with this slight tangent; the reason for explaining this was to say that this is new technology that is slowly but surely getting into the hands of consumers, and once there's more of it out there, we will see more support for 4K media. For now, I can enjoy beautiful YouTube videos of nature.
The picture quality that this TV provides is superb. Everything I see looks great. The colors are nearly eye-popping and rather impressing compared to my previous TV. The 3D is just the same as my previous TV, tested with TRON: Legacy 3D.
The sound output seems average for a TV, though I don't use the sound from the TV itself and instead utilize an LG sound bar.
My previous TV was not a Smart TV. It's not imperative to me, as I have multiple consoles and a Fire TV, but it's very convenient being able to start up Netflix without having to do so through another device first.
Lastly, the Magic Remote that comes with the TV is wonderful. I like it a lot. The cursor mirrors the movement of the remote very precisely, and I enjoy being able to push a button and speak a source (such as HDMI2) to instantly access a different source than what I'm on. Sometimes it will automatically change to the new source, for instance if I turn on the corresponding device, but I haven't figured out why sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't.
All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase. LG hasn't failed me, and everything that comes packed into the TV is perfect for me, someone who is somewhat deep into visual media.

I purchased this after having purchased and played the PS3 version when it was first released. Tomb Raider is one of my favorite games, and i'm drawn by its open-world features, setting, and survival system. The reboot also calls for much more combat, which is fine by me.
Being able to explore many parts of a lost island gives you much freedom that you would never find in previous Tomb Raider titles. Many western games now are compelled to have some form of open world, which is why it's happening now rather than before, but it's also because of the kind of game Tomb Raider is--hunting and exploring lost treasures.
By no means is the survival system robust, and you don't rely on it in order to actually survive and progress, but it adds a great touch to the game.
The only qualm I have with Tomb Raider is that the tomb puzzle areas feel like modules and aren't naturally integrated. In no way does this put a damper on the rest of the game despite this.
I'd recommend getting this if you enjoy previous Tomb Raider titles or playing the Uncharted series.

My girlfriend adores Animal Crossing, and after I gifted her Happy Home Designer, I got her a few of these packs to go along with it. I used to enjoy Animal Crossing but haven't found the time. But for anyone that does play it, these are great to add to the game and collect.

Glad I Didn't Pass It Up

I've been a Halo fan since the days when Bungie showed off concept cinematics for Combat Evolved. I've followed Halo closely, and I've enjoyed each and every one--especially campaign co-op. I came very close to "retiring" from Halo after Halo 4, simply because of my interest in other things, but I bit the bullet and picked up Guardians, though it was not my reason for purchasing an Xbox One.
I've been really enjoying all aspects of the game, including multiplayer's Warzone. It feels somewhat like Battlefield, but it retains its Halo elements. It still sings a tune that resonates with all its predecessors, despite its evolution--something much needed to stay alive in this industry, even with its name. And I'm very glad I didn't pass it up!

I'm a fan of the Uncharted series, and I was happy to see a remaster of the first three to come to PS4.
What I like most about the collection isn't the 60 frames per second or updated graphics; rather, I like that the collection preserves only the singleplayer experience, throwing away any multiplayer modes found in 2 and 3. I loved multiplayer, but singleplayer is where the game is really at. I also have a new difficulty mode to look forward to.

I read a fair amount of reviews before making this purchase, and I wanted something that would work perfectly with my PS4 and Vita. The Gold Wireless Stereo Headset does not fail.
The headset fits perfectly over my ears and rather comfortably. Often times I forget it's even there, as it's that comfortable and supported. I sometimes get the buttons confused (there are more than a few buttons on the side of one of the speakers), but it's not too much of a hassle to figure it out in the instance I do forget. I like being able to switch the wireless adapter back and forth between my PS3 and PS4, and when I want to use it with my Vita, the 3.5mm audio cable can be connected. I like the quick versatility that it offers. It sounds great to boot!

I'm a big fan of the DualShock 4 controller, primarily due to the fact that your thumbs can't roll off the sides as it could with the DualShock 2 and 3, and with better ergonomic trigger buttons. It just feels perfect in my hands.
