Solid Set of Wireless Earbuds

I've had a while to test the LG Tone-Free, and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. I've only paired it with my phone, but I think this is what almost anyone and everyone would do. I've also accessed more features with the Tone & Talk app, making this an even better product. With that said, let's get started!
To start off, the Tone Free neckband is what you'll be wearing during use. You don't have to wear it, as whatever device you're connected to actually communicates through the left earbud, but the ability to store your true wireless earbuds when you're not using them means the neckband shouldn't be out of reach. The band is sleek and has a low-profile largely due to its matte exterior. Most neckbands I've seen are glossy and shine—this also means I've seen tons of smudges on neckbands that others wear. If you don't want to attract attention by way of your neckband, the matte finish achieves that. But for those that might notice, it looks stylish. For someone who once thought wireless earbuds looked silly, the LG Tone Free is something I don't mind wearing.
As for the earbuds themselves, as mentioned earlier, these guys are real wireless; they detach from the neckband by the press of the separating button, and you've got no tangles to worry about. Ever. And with two different-size ear gels, you're more than likely to have a perfect fit when you wear them. When properly stored, you're less likely to misplace or lose the earbuds, as they snap back into the ends of the neckband, safe and secure. Docking them is extremely easy and can be done without looking. This is also how they'll charge, since the charging port is located on the side of the neckband.
The left earbud is the real star here: it communicates with whatever device it's connected with, and holds all the true functions you need. It'll send the incoming signal on to the sub earbud, too. The multi-function button is how you'll play or pause music, or accept or end calls. The batteries, which both earbuds have, last a long while. Though the box says they have a music-listening / talk time of 3 hours, and a standby time of 7-8 days, I feel like it's a lot longer than that. I've only charged them twice, and they go for an astonishing amount of time. But being a Bluetooth device, having a multi-function button, and containing a battery all mean the earbud is going to be a little bulky. Still, it doesn't look bad when worn, a steady balance of function and form. And it's not too noticeable either. It's not as low-profile as a wired earbud, but it's also not the size of some larger Bluetooth headsets which may be more about function than form.
The LG Tone Free itself is great. But it can be greater just by downloading the Tone & Talk app on your phone. Once you've done this, you've turned the neckband into an expanded notification device. Normally the neckband will vibrate when receiving an incoming call. With the Tone & Talk app, you can tell it to vibrate on receiving a notification from any app! You choose the apps, and it will vibrate when you get a notification. You can set the vibration frequency as well. But the app doesn't stop there. Say you're listening to a song, and you get an incoming call from your girlfriend. You know it's her because you've set up voice notifications to read incoming notifications from the Phone app, and you hear "Future Wifey Purple Heart Purple Heart." But you're driving. You know she expects you to answer no matter what. Instead of reaching for your phone snug in your pocket and swerving into another lane of traffic, you simply say "Answer", which connects you. Crisis averted, all because you installed the Tone & Talk app for this very reason. Likely scenario aside, sound initially doesn't come through as audible as you might first expect, but the app allows you to control that. I'd suggest downloading it for this reason alone. I've boosted the volume up to max, and sound comes through great. There are other minor features within the Tone & Talk app, but the focus of this review is the LG Tone Free.
I like to take my LG Tone Free out with me every chance I get, and I sometimes use it at home. It's extremely useful, and I love being hands-free from my phone whenever possible. If you're not prone to losing things and like to keep your hands free for other tasks, I'd recommend this product without any hesitation.

Powerful and Versatile

Let's get right to it. The Shark Powered Lift-Away with DuoClean is powerful. Very powerful. And all its workings, inside and out, combine to create a versatile, high-performance machine that I love using, especially with pets.
I'm no expert with vacuum cleaners, and I'd say in the last ten years that I've used a total of four or five different ones. I couldn't tell you what they were, but they were bagless, which I believe to be today's standard. What I can say is that this vacuum, without a doubt, blows the others out of the water. I've never been so satisfied with the performance of a vacuum cleaner once I'm finished cleaning. While I waited to receive the product, the carpeted floors were vacuumed once with what I had before this one. Two days later, I received the Shark vacuum and put it to the test immediately, and the results were really something. In fact, I used it again the next day and was still pulling out dirt and hair that the former machine failed to get out. The carpet looks great after vacuuming. Even the air feels cleaner.
What's great about this Shark vacuum is its ability to go anywhere. It's highly versatile and has all sorts of ways to reach what you need to, whether it's under the sofa or table, or in tight spaces, thanks to its lift-away feature and multiple included accessories. The head is relatively small and swivels and fits wherever you need it to. The handle is detachable for proximity cleaning. You can remove the wand for even more reach, whether its tight areas or hard-to-reach places, including ceiling fans. And you can attach accessories to either of these, allowing you to adapt it to any cleaning work that needs done. Then with the lift-away, you an take the vacuum underneath any furniture that sits at least approximately four inches off the ground. Even better, all of these reattach with extreme ease; there is no difficulty whatsoever here. When you're finished, remove the canister and press a button (and all of these features I've mentioned have buttons) on the front to open the door on the bottom. I like that I can keep the mess contained and not have to fumble with any of it. One last neat feature is the fact that this has headlights, something I thought was a thing of the past.
There wasn't really anything to dislike about this vacuum—it's not too loud, it's very powerful, and reaches practically anywhere with its low-profile head and multiple included accessories, not to mention the lift-away. The only fault I'd give the vacuum if I had to is that it's a bit heavy despite its size. All of its usefulness and versatility, however, make this one con totally excusable. I'd highly recommend this vacuum to anyone who requires power, has pets (or not), and has nooks and crannies, big and small, throughout their living space.

Great Headset for Proximity Gaming

Disclaimer: I used the Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 Headset on PlayStation 4 only.
Razer caters more toward competitive gaming (which isn't my scene), but I gave this headset a go on my PS4 Pro. I've only tested two games, including a rhythm game for a wide spectrum of audio, and a shooter where surround sound is required. I own a Sony PlayStation Gold Wireless Stereo Headset and compared the two for each game, as they're similar in price.
For both games, this headset output audio perfectly. All noise comes through loud and clean. The Kraken actually output at a higher volume compared to the Gold Wireless Headset. Initially there was some slight popping, but I unplugged it and plugged it back in, and the issue resolved itself. As for the microphone, everything comes through clearly. This is not so much the case with the other headset, as friends have often had some difficulty hearing me.
The Kraken did have its fair share of issues, though they're more nitpicks. It does not have the ability to adjust volume--it must be done in the settings of the device that it's connected to. And because it's a USB headset, it's not very suitable for living room gaming due to the cable extending approximately six feet. While the microphone level was great, what bothered me was the lack of any noise cancellation. It picked up the slightest noises from across the room. Anyone listening would be able to hear everything going on in whichever room you're in. The Kraken has active noise cancellation, but it wasn't happening for me on a PS4.
Overall, this is a great headset for proximity gaming. I often use my Gold Wireless headset so that I can sit at my sofa a fair distance from my TV, so there may not be many instances that I'd put these on over the aforementioned headset. If you usually sit far from your TV, I'd recommend a different headset unless you extend the reach.

Excellent Wi-Fi Product

While I am tech savvy, my knowledge of networking has little reach. I've had all kinds of networking issues with different devices through time, whether during setup or regular use (usually the latter), and I've never been able to solve them by myself, nor do I have much understanding of the solution when I find one. I simply apply the solution and hope it works.
My Wi-Fi provided through a standard company-provided modem just plain sucks. When I had a technician come out to fix an issue with my intermittent connection hiccups (which turned out to be some kind of interference issue), he even admitted that they weren't really good to begin with, which I'd say is common knowledge. Still, I didn't want to purchase a modem of my own to boost my range, and then I had the chance to try out this product that I'm reviewing.
I was expecting there to be a lengthy and possibly tedious setup involved with the Velop system, but there wasn't. It was actually very easy and going in a matter of minutes. I literally opened up the box, and the first and only step on a stocky card was to connect one of the nodes to the modem using the included ethernet cable, then download the Linksys app on a smartphone . It's worth mentioning that in the box are power cables for all three nodes. From there, you make sure the phone is connected to the new network that you're creating. Then came boosting the network to stretch my entire home! I placed the other two nodes in different rooms. One at a time, I plugged them into the wall, pressed the buttons on the top of the nodes, which allows your phone to find them, and watched their progress as they set themselves up. The entire setup process was smooth and easy, and lasted about 10-15 minutes. As a side note, with the app, you can also name the nodes and look at who's connected to the new network, among other small features.
Since I set up the system just over a month ago, I've had absolutely zero problems with my Wi-Fi. There has been no connection intermittence caused by when I was 20-25 feet from the modem, and I've had full 100% connection strength in every corner of my home. The power in these nodes is really amazing compared to what I'm used to. I wish I could share more about how it all works, but again, my knowledge in network is lacking. I'm thankful that the product was so very easy to set up and even manage, and undoubtedly it was built this way. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who isn't knowledgeable in networking. There may be better products out there, but this one will definitely work for me for a long while.

If you know amiibo, Luigi functions just like any other. If you don't, look into him and others! If you collect amiibo, chances are you already have Luigi, but if you don't, the price drop makes him worth picking up.

This is my first sound bar, so I cannot say as much as some can, but it's really hard to beat this sound bar's price point. The quality of the output is excellent, and the wireless subwoofer works great.
I have noticed that if you have a bit of a distance between the sound bar and the subwoofer, such as having the subwoofer next to your sofa or somewhere else in the room, crossing the signal path may intermittently cut out the signal to the subwoofer, causing the bass to drop completely for a moment. Since moving it elsewhere where no one comes between the two, I've not noticed this issue.
I have this sound bar connected to an LG TV, and I love being able to control both with one remote. I have come across one minor issue involving the Bluetooth, where if I connect a Bluetooth device for listening, there seems to be a chance of the sound bar forgetting being registered with the remote that I also use for the TV (or vice versa), and so when I try turning up volume when using it in conjunction with the TV, the remote will instead control the TV volume. I haven't used the Bluetooth feature frequently to give firm feedback on this matter. That being said, I have had no other Bluetooth issues.
In my opinion, this sound bar is great, especially if snagged at a sale price. I highly recommend it to others.

There really isn't much to say here. As with most amiibo, this one was crafted nicely and functions just as you'd expect. I do like being able to unlock 8-bit costumes in Super Mario Maker, as almost every amiibo works with the game. I have yet to train my amiibo in Super Smash Bros., but I'm looking forward to it!

Yes--the requirements in the booklet list PC, Mac, and PlayStation 4.
