Okay so you got the new iPad. And you know you'll need a case. Most people seem to get a basic folio case, a flip over and that is all they want to spend. Later, they see someone has a case with a keyboard, then they go buy that, and have spent twice for something they should have considered in the beginning. Why?
I've been using iPads since they came out. Even with the larger iPhones, the iPad is a great in between tool, between the iPhone and the MacBook. I know, I go through this daily it seems. The iPad is a smaller, easier solution, and is more flexible for things you might need it for - looking up a cooking video, or how to repair something video, something that isn't conducive to using your MacBook and the video might be too small for your phone. Or maybe you are using both? Who knows, but still, the iPad needs this case.
You can use it like a folio case and get the protection of that. But, you can also use it like a laptop. I found myself enjoying the iPad like my laptop because of this case. The back has a stiff tent slab that opens to suit your tastes for angle. And it stays there. It is easier to move around than a laptop and can instantly be turned back to a tablet and a folio case by a flip over. Or, if you want to keep it out as laptop, you can do that too. Very flexible and worth the money to buy this one time. OR, you can remove the keypad part easily by simply popping it off of it's magnetic connection. Very cool. So, the magnet hold is strong it won't just fall off. It must be done with intention to separate it from the keyboard. But it is another way to use this.
It uses the smart connector on your iPad (that you probably never noticed was there) to power the keyboard. Smart. It's there, no need to externally charge this like the other stuff you have to charge each day. Pop in the iPad and the connector marries up to it automatically.
The trackpad is very responsive and you won't find anything better. The keyboard feels natural and spaced properly with decent sized keys. No feeling of using a portable iPad keyboard, feels like a MacBook.
The material used is hard to describe, it feels like cloth, but it also feels like it is part of the construction - so no sagging, rips, or tears. Hard to describe, unique, and feels like something comfortable, not cold and plastic feeling. Will help when using as you won't feel a cold plastic surface. And seems you can clean it too, like a plastic cover. Weird, but very ingenious.
There isn't a reason to put off buying this - yes, it does cost more than a traditional folio, but this is way more than that. It allows you to use this like a computer, a tablet, etc. and has a great feel to it!

Great product, a few glitches, but overall great

HP always releases decent products, and this is no exception. This isn't a cheaply made printer by any means, it was well designed, packaged, and it works really well, once you get it setup.
The glitches had to do with the setup. What was supposed to happen did not. The app could not find the printer when using the WIFI setup, and could not find the network despite there being the 2.4GHZ needed for this printer. Locally, WIFI direct, was no problem. So, this was an app glitch. In going through the app, I found the network setup, which links you to a web page, which allowed me to get in and input the WIFI network settings into the printer. Then it worked fine. But to expect a non-tech type to do this is not reasonable and would have resulted in a tech support call, and probably a lengthy one to get through it all. This could have been avoided by more beta testing of app and its functions. My WIFI is broadcasting both 2.4 and 5GHZ signals, so that should not have been the holdup to completing the install. My WIFI is nothing special, so it wasn't my network.
Now, print quality is amazing, in HP tradition. The Auto Document Feeder (ADF) worked great, no multi-page mistakes. The scanning is very clear and crisp. There is a 2 year subscription to faxing as well, so you can scan and fax to a fax machine, for those times you are required to fax something - saves a trip to Staples or whatever to fax something.
My only other concern about this is the cost of ink replacements. In a move to get printers to come with plenty of ink, this comes with the standard yield cartridges and 2 free months of ink. I don't know how much a printer this size will use in 2 months, but seems like maybe the 2 free months isn't really going to be much of a help. I'd like to see high yield cartridges included and the price to be more amenable to the wallet - sometimes buying new cartridges is more expensive than buying a new printer.
So it isn't a secret, I use my printer to print shipping/return labels for things, more than anything else. My wife prints the bank statements and keeps them for awhile. Or the kids print some things for college. These things were all great. I don't print many photos, but a test photo did turn out to be very high quality using photo paper and the standard ink that comes with it.
Is this a quality printer that will last for quite some time? Yes, I know it will, their products always do. Will it be the most cost effective solution? Maybe or maybe not, but it is reliable, it will last a very long time, and you won't be cursing when trying to print your boarding pass at 4am for a flight and your printer won't work - that kind of thing. HP stuff works, works well, and this is no exception. Just wish the app hadn't been temperamental and we'd have been at 5 stars.

Excellent & purpose built, sound good not great

When I got these, I was curious how they'd stack up against the one pair of headphones/earbuds I have as my "go to" set. These are most certainly purpose built, for workouts, for running, for active lifestyles, hiking, etc. My go to set are none of these, and I go without during these times, well until now!
As for fit, there is no issue there, they fit like a dream. The wire over ear thingy holds them in place very well, and does not really interfere with glasses. This is a welcome change.
As for the design, being able to have them in, yet still hear what is going on around you, this is priceless when you are doing anything - if you are too well insulated from sound, you could miss a preventable and dangerous situation simply because you could not hear. There are many scenarios like traffic, your spouse yelling for you, etc. You can hear some background stuff with these on.
The case is well thought out, with magnetic pull of the headphones to the charging contacts. This works very well. The battery in the case does a great job of charing them. Really nice design and obviously someone designed these who has seen the shortcomings of other designs. Oh yes, sweat/moisture resistant too. You can tell the rubbery coating on the outside will keep moisture out of the electronics.
The only disappointment, and it isn't that bad, is the sound quality. These are not gonna blow you away with the most high end sound quality you've ever heard - they are, simply put, decent headphones for active lifestyles. In these scenarios, function of the design is more important than the sound quality - you aren't listening for all the highs, lows, and mid during a workout, hike, or run.
If you want a great active lifestyle set of buds, these are awesome. They stay put, they last a long time on a charge, sound good, and will be water/sweat resistant. What more could you want from a set of active headphones?

Everything that Logitech comes out with is a success. I’ve always been happy with all of the successful and creative products they introduce.
This iPad cover is no exception. It is a nice, cost effective and easy to use solution. You can use this in several modes. You can use your iPad like a laptop at the kitchen table. You will find it has a magnetic location for the case to “fold” into so that it can be used in this way. Of course you can simple fold it behind and use it as a traditional iPad cover and not use the keyboard. Or you can do what they call “sketch mode” for doing writing and using the Apple Pencil. Pretty cool, plus it has a place to hold your Apple Pencil.
I noticed it was already charged and ready to use out of the box, but did use the USB C connector to charge it up. It does have this advanced charging feature so that is pretty cool too. The info says a 3 month battery life, and I’m supposing that’s accurate based on their statement, as their other battery claims are always spot on.
There is protection from the daily grind of using your iPad....not heavy duty waterproof type protection, but basic stuff.
The beauty of this is that it has a great backlight, for the keys, which is cool, but that it has shortcut keys so you don’t have to keep pressing your screen and trying to type. Need the home screen? Press the button. Want to dim or brighten the keyboard backlight? Press the buttons. It’s got a row of shortcut keys along the top to make using this with an iPad more like a laptop. It takes a bit to get used to not touching your screen, but it comes quickly to you.
If you want a way to use that iPad as a laptop, while still using it as a iPad, this is a great solution! I have never been disappointed with the solutions Logitech comes out with, and this is no exception.

I was skeptical, in particular when I see "Up to" anything. But believe it, this SSD is capable of the speeds posted. Using the latest format and hardware, I was able to get the speeds posted. Even using older USB technology, I was getting speeds that were much faster than some of my other SSD drives I have here. So even if you don't have the latest and greatest hardware yet, you might as well go all in for this because it can do amazing speeds BUT it will also save you from having to buy it later when you get the latest hardware and want the best speeds.
The unit does get warm as you are using it to full capacity/specs, but it does have some vents on the bottom to help in this regard. It comes with a USB C to USB c cable and a traditional USB cable so you can use it with legacy USB ports on your equipment.
This is worth the price, in particular because of the great speed you'll get with or without the latest hardware, and frankly it is the path forward in the technology world. Plus it is super small, lightweight, and appears to be VERY sturdy.

I didn't think this would sound great, that it was more of a gimmicky kind of product vs. a good sounding speaker, but I was wrong. It sounds decent and on top of that, it is really cool!
The large base of this, which fills with a nice even light, and is adjustable for brightness, color, and flash patterns, is what gives the small speaker at the top it's UMPH. Of course the speaker itself is high quality, you can tell that, but the large volume of space behind it is what really drives it home. The speaker is covered with a burlap loop and is hard so it cannot be damaged if touched.
This comes with neat little cloth bags, one for the speaker/light unit, and one for the power cable and remote. I have repurposed these bags for a few pieces of expensive jewelry I've put in the safe. Very nice!
The remote is great, you can adjust sound up and down, turn the light on and off, and even adjust the brightness of the light. You can skip forward on songs too. And you can adjust the light for the way it displays both color and steady vs. rhythm.
You can charge via the supplied USB cable (you'll need your own power brick), or you can get a wireless charging plate and charge it wirelessly. Pretty cool for the price point on this speaker. Plus it has a long battery life of 2-4 hours of sound and 8-12 hours of light (rated) and my experimenting with this seemed that this is extremely accurate.
You will not get the same sound from this as you would from a $500 speaker, so please don't buy it if you want the highest quality fidelity, instead buy it because it is cool and funky, functional, and frankly has good sound quality. I really like the lights, and I know come winter, it will be even more important to have lights for those of us who suffer from light deprivation in the winter. I'm very pleased with this and I know you will be too!
P.S. - If you buy two of these, you can create stereo sound automatically as it will know to play through both of them at the same time! Kudo's for making this possible.

It was a pleasure to have time to listen to my CD collection on this very cool throwback CD player.
Call me old fashioned but I like to have devices that do what they were designed to do. A CD player or radio for music, a GPS for directions, etc. With streaming if I walk away, it stops playing music. But with this, the music continues to play. I really like that. And it plays mP3 files too, so that can give you much longer playtime than a regular CD.
Comes with nice earbuds that stay in!

A great keyboard that won’t break the bank!

I was impressed when I opened this and found a detachable wrist rest that is detachable with magnets. From there I was happy not to have to download anything to be able to change the lighting. Right now I have it on gentle changing lights.
So, it’s a keyboard, and it’s job is to be easy to type on. Or game. It does both well! The keys are raised and give you that feeling of using an old mechanical keyboard. I would say this is worth your while for an entry level gamer but also for an experienced typist. I’m both and really enjoy it. Currently I’m using this in a Mac.
You won’t be disappointed with this and if you are, you can always take advantage of Best Buy’s returns policy and find something else.

An excellent carpet cleaner, even on old stains

I had some really nasty stains floating around, from some dog accidents that happened about a month ago. While the carpet was clean (didn't smell) the stains remained and they looked pretty bad. So, I gave this a try and was quite pleased at the result. I had used other carpet cleaners and didn't get all the stains out. This Hoover product did get the final stains out and makes the carpet look like new. It did such a good job, it makes the rest of the carpet reveal it is dirty. I'll be getting the hoover carpet cleaning machine out during this time of being a shut-in and get all the carpets cleaned! I would recommend this for tough carpet stains, to get them out the first time, even ones you don't think can be fixed.

This is the best tax software, has been for years

I've been using this software for years now, and I've never had a disappointment, no errors from the IRS, and is very intuitive. Over the years I convinced my better half to try others, just to see if there was something better, only to find that after trying the new and different stuff that the H & R Block software was the best choice for our tax needs.
We have tried over and over again to get the best refund (or pay as little extra as necessary) and had also found mistakes or simple oversights in rival software when we did try others.
In a nutshell, if you want the best you can get, without having to live through the trial and error process we have made, just go with this and you won't be sorry later when you find out you missed out on something that would have lowered your tax obligations, or caused you to get flagged for an audit.
This year's version is just like previous years versions, except it does add a consultant service "on demand" to help you with problems you may be having during your tax preparations.
I would only tell you this based on my multiple years of experience with this software. Import previous year(s) tax returns, import your returns from competitive products, etc. All works like it should.

I got this camera for keeping an eye on my parents, they are older and at risk for falling and other issues, this camera has already paid for itself ten times over! Not only does it give you a sense of security, it also gives my parents a peace of mind known that they are not alone and are being watched, unfortunately my father has fallen twice in the time I bought this camera, it allowed me to see him on the floor and I was able to race home to help him up, if it wasn't for the camera who knows how long he would have been laying there. The picture is not perfect but more than good enough, I actually leave it in Night Vision mode and the picture is great, also the microphone is impressively good. You are able to rotate the camera via your smart phone or computer, it's a little slow but over all I have no complaints. Well worth the money, I went out and bought 2 more for the rest of the house, the smart phone app is very easy to use, set up was a little bit of a pain, I'd say 1 hour but again, not bad. Honestly the best thing I have bought in years and I buy a lot.

Is this a self-propelled vacuum? Is there a Bissell that is?
Not self propelled but is easy to maneuver because it has such a strong beater bar that kind of pulls it along. Bissell does not make a self propelled model that I am aware of.

Can you disable audio recording for these?
You can turn that feature off, but can also turn on the privacy shield to turn off video and audio by using an actual physical filter. Or you can simply turn off the mic function and nothing will be recorded. You can keep the speaker function, in case you want to say something, but turn off the mic function so your conversations won't be overheard.

How do I look up past recordings on the camera
In the app, you can go to the recorded library of images. If you don't have any, I'd ask if you set up any of the rules to get this to record. If not, you have to set up the things ou want to do and when, to get it to record. This is somewhat easier said than done, but it is better than it used to be. Contact tech support for help if needed.

On the Arlo Essential, can the IR be turned off? I’d like to position it behind glass.

How do I connect my indoor camera into my camera base I already have
In the app, you simply do "add camera" and go through the instructions. Easy peasy. Takes about 30 seconds to add.

Can this vacuum be used on concrete floors?
I'm sure it can be, it can be used on any hard or carpeted surface. It has a unique roller bar that is neither too hard or too soft, and should work just fine.

Would the mop attachment work on the previous CordZero model?
I'm confident they are interchangeable. As long as the connector looks the same, it'll work with it.

Can i use old a9 by attached A9 wet mop unit
I'm sure you can, as long as it is the same connection. The mop unit just swirls the cloth pads around and drips water out so it can be a kind of wet dust mop. It uses the power from the wand to do it. But it does not vacuum up anything, when in this mode.
