Future your Baby Monitoring, with Nanit!
on March 8, 2019

The Nanit Plus Baby Monitor is the newest smart home technology you will want to get your hands on. Some baby monitors on the market offer technology, but, they are not the "smartest" out there; Nanit is here to change your mind.
Unboxing and installing: The Nanit comes with the camera, stand/wall mount, a long power cable with cable concealing included (plastic concealers that stick to the wall and hide the 10' + cord), and mounting hardware. Everything was easy to put together, including the plastic concealing (it includes a sticky backside to stick to the wall). However, the mounting screws are made cheap. I appreciate Nanit including a drilling template, but what good is that if the screws are not strong enough to hold the camera up in drywall? I wound up buying anchors and better screws from the hardware store. After my failed attempt to mount the camera the first time, I patched and placed the camera on the wall, above our crib (baby crying and all). This system is designed to give you a "birds-eye" view of your baby sleeping; this is the only way to use the system, and it's functions (such as the sleep analysis functions). Keep in mind that, you cannot rotate the orientation of the camera. The camera is essentially positioned one way after you installed it (more of a 90-degree angle above the crib).
Smart Features:
First, you will need to sign up for an account and install the Nanit App. Nanit offers a 30-day trial period, which includes sleep monitoring (heat signatures to tell you the temperature of the room, and baby), as well as information such as "how long your baby slept today" etc. Also, there is two-way communication between you and your baby. So now you can hear the baby snore slightly and talk sweet nothings to it. Also, the sound and picture quality is great (especially at night with the night vision on). One function I appreciated was the "nature sounds" playlist when my baby was fussy. Simply open up the app on your phone and select the "sound" you want the baby to fall asleep to. More so, the app tracks the number of times you visited your baby during the night too.
Additionally, the sleep movement technology learned my baby's sleep habits and let me know if anything unusual was happening. The technology is exceptional since there were obvious times the baby could not sleep and I attended to his needs. However, there were times that I did not know our baby woke up, even for a few minutes, because they were uncomfortable. This happened during a couple of nights that our baby was not fussy; the baby woke up and eventually fell back asleep. I later looked at the history in the app, watched the video that was recorded, and determined that the baby was uncomfortable sleeping, due to the outfit he was wearing. Again, on those nights that I did not know he woke up, I watched the history and figured it out on my own.
After each night, the app displays your child's sleep statistics (a scoring system that lets you know how long they slept, and how "inefficiently" they slept). Also, in the App, you can add your partners so that they can log in and view activity, too.
Once our trial runs out, I plan on picking up their insights subscription. Again, if you are concerned about your baby's sleep analysis, expert tips, and time-lapse playback (like most smart home cameras). , this is something you should consider.
Overall, the Nanit Plus baby monitor is a smart choice, and one of the better baby monitors out there. Be mindful of the hardware installation, as well as the lack of stand (if you want this version, you will have to purchase it; Nanit does not offer a floor stand separately).

A Good Start for Sevenhugs
on December 6, 2018
Posted by: Veganrichy
from Elk Grove Village, Illinois
Sevenhugs first smart home universal remote is a solid start. However, it does have its quirks.
I have owned multiple universal remotes, and they were not easy to program. More than likely, you downloaded software to your PC, and you had to input every model number manually. One of the best features of Sevenhugs remote is the intuitive approach. All the user has to do is download their smart remote app from the Apple or Google Play store. Once installed, create an account and have your remote ready nearby.
Through the phone app, you select the device you want. Then, you point the remote at the object, and it downloads the information. Since this was a simplistic approach, I was able to download everything including my receiver, cable box, television, and my 4K player in under 5 minutes. Additionally, I was able to add Wi-Fi devices including my Philips HUE lights. Again, the amount of time and ease to do this is simple, and a fantastic design approach.
The remote itself is very light and comfortable to hold in your hands. I am not a fan of the overall plastic design, because it feels cheap. However, using the plastic Sevenhugs used allows the user to hold and control the remote with ease. One of the flaws to this remote is the battery life. After charging the remote for five-plus hours, I was surprised to have limited battery life with it. I used the remote for one day to control everything in my home theater, and lights. Afterward, I set the remote down until the next day. The remote had a quarter battery life left. I continued to use it, and then I received a message to "place the remote on the stand to charge." Again, the battery life of the remote is not good. Hopefully Sevenhugs, in the future, puts a better longer-lasting battery in the remote.
While using the remote, the user can scroll through their devices by swiping left on the LCD screen. I had some infrared issues initially. I had to hold the remote just right to use my cable box, which was frustrating. However, I was surprised when I was able to use my receiver and 4K blu-ray player through our foggy cabinet windows. Despite what other reviewers said about this, I had no issues using the remote through glass cabinets.
With programming, I was able to use my Philips Hue lights and adjust the colors of my light strips with this remote. The LCD screen displays the color picker and options on the remote well. Another option I went with was creating a "scene" with the remote. I created a useful "All ON/Off" function using both the app and universal remote. Again, Sevenhugs nailed the programming function. I was able to program my scene in minutes. Now my lights and home theater turn on and off at the press of the "All On/Off" scene I created.
Sevenhugs advertised the idea of "point and control" feature throughout their campaign. This design is patent-pending and futuristic. Sevenhugs included three white "hockey puck" sensors with the product to use this feature. Unfortunately, you need to place these pucks in your primary space, in-line with one another, to use it. The other issue is, you have to play around with the placement so that the sensors can pick up your "point" function in the room. Plus, placing the white "hockey puck" sensors on the wall is not practical, unfortunately. The sensors stick out on the wall in the room. Unless you can conceal them within bookshelves or near other objects, unfortunately, the sensors are noticeable. After playing around with the placement of the sensors, and using the included 3M command strip stickers to place them on the wall, I successfully pointed and used the remote. Though, the feature is a nice one, the remote often selected the wrong device. I am not sure if this is due to the design of the product, or my placement of the sensors, but this function was not ideal for use.
Also, some smart home devices are not available just yet, including Nest thermostats (as advertised). However, Sevenhugs states that they will include Nest products in December; hopefully soon.
Overall, the Sevenhugs remote offers an intuitive design and functionality. However, where the remote loses its edge is the sensors included with the device and battery life. In the future, Sevenhugs should upgrade the battery in the remote for a longer lifespan. Also, Sevenhugs should consider changing their "hockey puck" sensors, or limit the amount you need. Placing three of these on different walls in my living room was not ideal; they stick out like a sore thumb. But, for a universal remote, this is a solid choice on the market. It is easy to use and program. Plus, it is a comfortable remote to use.

Beautiful Design with some hiccups
on November 13, 2018
Posted by: Veganrichy
from Elk Grove Village, Illinois
The HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 laptop features a metal design, with a sleek look and colors. However, the body design is questionable. While working on my desk, I felt the laptop wobble a bit. I am not sure if the rubber feet in place are stable enough. Since this is a 15" display, it is a bit bulkier than other 2-in-1 laptops in its class. You cannot use the stylus on-the-go like other 2-in-1 laptops. The stylus comes separate from the shell; it does require you to carry it with the laptop which is not necessarily convenient. However, that is because of the 15" screen size and thin body. HP did include a nice leather case with it that does hold the laptop and the stylus. So this makes up for the "pop-out" feature that most 2-in-1 laptops feature.
While using it in tablet mode, I felt that the Spectre was again, too bulky, because of the large screen size and weight the laptop carries. I would not recommend using it in tablet mode since it is cumbersome to use. It was not easy to take notes on it or test the pen features.
One feature that is prevalent in the Spectre x360 is the SD card slot; it is a full-size slot. Those who upload photographs or other data will like this feature. In previous 2-in-1 laptops, I have owned, there was no SD card slot. Also included are an HDMI out port and a 3.1 USB port for fast data upload. Seeing an HDMI port in the Spectre x360 is refreshing since my old 2-in-1 required a conversion cable for this.
The display is a 4K video display (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) and 60hz refresh rate. While testing 4K video content on YouTube and other websites, the laptop started humming loudly and overheating. When I scaled down the video, the Spectre x360 did not hum loudly or overheat. I am not sure why this happened since the Spectre x360 features an AMD RX Vega M graphics chip. Not to mention it has an i7 core processor. I continued to test 4K video content with, unfortunately, the same results. Again, it has a stunning display with bright colors, but I am cautious to continue playing 4K content when the laptop continues to overheat, and the fans continue to "hum" loudly.
The keyboard is OK; the keys are too low, unfortunately. I frequently pressed other keys on the keyboard and it did not feel comfortable under my fingers. However, the keyboard is backlight functional, which the user can turn on or off with ease. What some 2-in-1 laptops, like the Spectre x360, are doing is including a fingerprint scanner for faster sign-on functions, as well as security. The fingerprint sign-on feature for me is easier to use, and I commend HP for including it in the Spectre x360.
The battery life of the Spectre x360 is ok; while running background apps and updates (on a full charge) for about an hour, the battery already drained to 70%. While watching the 4K video on YouTube (the battery drained to 60% in about twenty minutes). My suggestion is to find a middle ground and not run 4K video and be careful with what you run in the background of the Spectre x360. Multitasking seems to drain the battery at a fast rate, but the processor does allow you to multitask without a hangup, which is a plus.
Overall, the HP Spectre x360 is a beautiful looking laptop, with questionable designs to the keyboard and mobility (weight and bulky exterior for tablet usage). The 4K display is stunning, but only for a short time until it heats up, and the fans hum loudly. HP still has some work to do with the Spectre line. However, they are trending in the right direction with most of their design choices.

Great Tools and Features
on October 15, 2018

Office 365 is a wonderful tool to use. The entire Microsoft suite is there, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Publisher. There are new features, such as customizations to ribbons, new templates to use and a sleeker design. The bonus to this is, you may back up your files with the included 1TB of cloud storage so that you can open your work, on the go, on any device. As long as you can log in to your Microsoft account from any computer with internet, you can download the file and continue working on a different PC, or you can work on the file directly online. Again, this is a very nice feature because it eliminates the use of a flash drive. The one issue that I feel Microsoft missed with 365 is the use of the annual subscription.
Once you purchase the 365 pack, you need to renew your subscription, again, the following year of your purchase date. This to me is the worst decision Microsoft made. Yes, all of that cloud storage and access you have on-the-go is terrific, but it is quite costly. Especially if you have to renew your subscription each year. Yes, in order for you to continue using the Microsoft suite to edit files, you need to renew your subscription. You definitely keep your files, and you can open them. However, do not expect to reopen and work on your files after the subscription ends after one-year unless you plan to renew.
Overall, the suite is still functional and the features and options are wonderful. However, where Microsoft failed is having people pay every year to use their software, which to me is the worst decision Microsoft made.

Sleek 2-in-1 with a bold design!
on October 13, 2018
Posted by: Veganrichy
from Elk Grove Village, Illinois
PROS: Fast; Sleek Design; Lightweight; Beautiful Display; Superb Sound.
CONS: Bulky tablet (mode) design; No SD Card Reader.
Full Review:
The Lenovo 2 Yoga C930 2-in-1 laptop is replacing an old laptop of mine. Like any Lenovo product, they kept a sleek, aluminum case design with the C930 and upgraded the performance in this very stylish and fast performing laptop.
The laptop is lightweight, allowing you to carry it around without the burden of a normal laptop weighing you down. I used mine on the plane, airport and a local coffee shop. It has a 13.9" touch-screen display, which is just right in terms of size. Again, portability with the Yoga C930 is ideal for the person on-the-go who needs a lightweight and small enough laptop to get work done and to entertain themselves with, too. The touchscreen is very accurate and I did not have to calibrate or speed up the touch sensitivity. You can also fold the screen over and use it as a tablet design, which I did briefly. This this the only con I have with this device is that the 13.9" screen felt bulky to me in the form of a tablet, and the keyboard (folded behind the screen) got in the way slightly.
However, while using the included pen to take some quick notes, I found the pen easy to use and the touch of it to the screen very accurate. The included button on the pen allows you to change the weight of the "pen" with ease. Lenovo took a note of the Samsung design allowing you to quickly press and release the pen when needed; the spring-loaded design allows you to easily grab the pen when you need it. The keyboard does not feel bulky, and the keys are easy to type on. One of the features that made Windows 10 sign on useful, was the use of a fingerprint scanner which the Yoga C930 includes. In addition to, the Yoga C930 includes an integrated webcam, which some same class 2-in-1 laptops fail to include.
Speaking of the 13.9" touch-screen display, it includes Dolby vision (HDR) and 4K capability to view stunning videos in 4K with like-like colors. The Yoga C930 has a beautiful display; while testing out 4K content on YouTube, I found the colors true, accurate, and the black levels were deep and rich. I did not experience any judding in the fast-moving 4K videos I was watching.
Other features, such as the 12GB of ram, I found ideal when I was switching back and forth from the internet and excel documents I was working on. The point here is, the 12GB of ram allows you to freely multi-task without experiencing any lock-up issues that other 2-in-1 laptops have in the class. This was a superb choice to have in terms of performance. Additionally, the included i7 processor is fast, and it should beat other 2-in-1 laptops in the same class. The 250GB of storage included is plenty of space needed for the Yoga C930. With cloud storage today, you do not need a lot of room to store files, music, and pictures; this is plenty of space.
The last feature that the Yoga C930 includes is Dolby Atmos speakers. Think of this as a soundbar for a television; the Yoga C930 includes that same soundbar underneath the screen. A position that does not muffle the sound when in laptop mode. Though, when I moved into tablet mode, I did not think the sound was as clear as was when the 2-in-1 was positioned in laptop mode. However, the sound is still excellent with good bass levels and a solid punch for watching videos or listening to music.
Though Yoga C930 does not include an SD card reader, it does have one USB 3.1 port for those times when you need to connect flash drives or other devices to quickly navigate, save and open documents. Battery life is stellar; on a full charge, I was able to get at least 8 hours on a bright display while on my flight and when I landed. If you dim the screen and cut down the performance of the laptop, you will get more than 9 hours of battery life. This is especially true if you are watching Netflix, or on the internet watching YouTube videos. Again, battery performance holds up which allows you to use the laptop for a longer period of time without a charge.
Overall, the Yoga C930 offers a sleek, stellar design with powerful components that set itself apart from the competition. The fast i7 processor and 12GB of ram speak for itself. Honestly, you can put the Yoga C930 in its own class, personally. However, in a world of 2-in-1 laptops, the Yoga C930 stands tall.

Great for plane and all day use!
on September 21, 2018
Posted by: Veganrichy
from Elk Grove Village, Illinois
In the past, I have used other noise canceling headphones on planes, at school and in the house during the night. The first and most important step was using the Sony WH-1000xm3 on the plane and to me this was the ultimate test. After my flight took off, I immediately plugged the headphones in to watch Netflix films I downloaded for my flight. Let me be the first to say, I could not hear anything from the outside, period. Oftentimes with other headsets, I could hear the noise from the plane in the air and it was eventually white noise, but the Sony WH-1000xm3 headphones completely tuned that out! The sound was crystal clear and, there was significant bass coming through the set during scenes where car chases were prevelant. The voices from actors were clear and I could hear what was going on in the background in the scenes, too. Again, a huge bonus when earbuds and other headsets did not capture the same clarity. I can honestly say, I was deeply involved with what I was listening to during my flight to even remember to buckle up before landing. I actually had a flight attendant come by, tap me on the shoulder and tell me we were landing and to fasten my seatbelt, oops.
Fast forward to my conference, I brought these with and used the bluetooth function instead of the cord. The bluetooth on this was great and I did not have any pairing issues, or loss of sound quality. I will say, I did notice a slight decrease in battery length when using the bluetooth function, which makes sense, but other than that small complaint, these are great headphones to use. Even during my conference breaks, I did not hear the noise of the loud hall and other attendees walking by.
Furthermore, I am impressed with how easy it is to charge and the fact that it uses USB charging C. I only brought one cable with for both my note 8 and these headphones because they use the same cable. I have to tip my hat to Sony for providing that type of charging (though it is going to be a standard soon). In addition to that, it took about an hour to fully charge this, which is terrific since I spent at least 3 days (countless hours) using them on a full charge (using the provided 3.5mm headphone jack).
Additionally, since these are over the ear headphones, I experienced discomfort in the past with other headphones similar to these, especially around the ears. Sony, again, hit it out of the park with the comfort of these. I wore the WH-1000xm3 headphones throughout the day without discomfort and my ears felt the best in years wearing these. The headphone cups fit perfectly and they are padded, which is a huge bonus.
Overall, the Sony WH-1000xm3 passed the airplane test and they in fact cancel out all the outside noise as intended. They are comfortable and there is no comparison to other headphones in the same class. Charging is simple, and the sound is completely clear; it is so clear that I am able to hear music scores, actors and bass (when applicable) in film scenes. If you are looking for noise canceling headphones, this is the pair you want, hands down.

Solid monitor from HP
on August 25, 2018
Posted by: Veganrichy
from Elk Grove Village, Illinois
The HP 27q LED QHD monitor provides an OK viewing angle, with beautiful colors (over 3 million colors). Black levels look great on this, especially when playing Blu-ray movies on my computer and video games. Even from the side of the monitor, the colors seem crisp and vibrant. Black and white levels suffer a bit, unfortunately. Though the picture quality does not seem as focused as it does when you are looking head on, either.
I also tested both a video game and Blu-ray movie on my computer to compare quality, and latency. While playing GTA 5 on PC, the colors stood out very well and in a high police chase scene there were no latency issues, which is a plus with the 60hz refresh rate. However, when I popped in a blu-ray movie on my PC latency issues persisted. I was specifically watching a fight scene in Taken and a chase scene. Both scenes provided light "judding" from the fast movements, which is odd because I did not see this present while playing a PC game.
The monitor's build is great; it is a solid piece and the base snaps easily into the monitor. A Phillip's head is needed to securely fasten the the monitor in place to the stand. I was impressed with the thin bezel, too.
Depending on your room, you may need to tweak the black levels, of course, which is what I did and again the colors and levels are stunning.
It only has one HDMI port, unfortunately. However, I would recommend a switch especially if you plan to hook up your gaming systems to this as well. That way you do not have to unplug the monitor and plug in your systems periodically.
Overall, it is a solid monitor to use. The latency I received in specific scenes of films might be a fluke, but the refresh rate I felt was not high enough. The viewing angle was OK, except from the sides. Furthermore, the colors are bright and vivid and the black levels are great. Again, a solid monitor to use regularly for gaming and video, as long as the judding is not in place.

Great headset for less
on August 16, 2018
Posted by: Veganrichy
from Elk Grove Village, Illinois
As an avid gamer, I used a lot of headsets. I spent a lot of money on my old headset, and unfortunately the cable recently started failing (sound was cutting in and out). I decided to get another pair of headphones that suit my needs for less.
When I first opened the Plantronics RIG 500 Headset, I was pleased to see how easy it was to assemble. All you need to do is connect the boom mic to the headset itself, the cable and the jack into your ps4 controller and you are ready to go.
While gaming I have to say, this headset is very comfortable. There is an additional strap at the top of the headphones to keep them from sliding off of your head, which is a blessing compared to my previous one.
The most practical feature is the quick volume control, which you will find on the jack that plugs into your ps4 controller. There were times when playing in my party that I had to turn the volume up and this was much easier in terms of functionality.
The headset is made of plastic and it feels flimsy. However, the light weight feeling of the headset is what makes it very unique compared to others -- its comfortable, as I aforementioned. While wearing these during my raid sessions on Destiny 2 -- this was honestly ideal compared to my old headset.
The sound by the way was incredible. I have a 7.2 channel surround on while I game, and that might be a problem to some gamers and it can be, however, the noise canceling feature allows me to hear my party members without sound from the outside leaking through. I was actually very impressed when I switched the audio to go through the headset. I specifically played pvp matches and I was able to clearly hear enemies on the other team sneaking up behind me through these.
With previous headsets, I would either have too long of a cable or too short of a cable. This one is 1.3m, which is actually just right; I'm no longer strangling myself while moving or switching positions when gaming. Or unplugging the headset if I accidentally sat on the cable.
Now what I found even more impressive is, the earcups are easily removable in case you ever want to replace them. Though I must say, there is an adjustment feature I find very impressive for placing the earcups at a level that suits the player. Simply pop the earcup out and place it in the next bracket. Again, this is a feature I have not had on previous headsets so this made adjusting the headset to my comfort level much easier.
Overall, I would recommend the headset. The comfort of wearing them is above what I was used to; if you can look past the cheap plastic feel, you will find a lightweight design that is suited for lasting comfort. The volume adjustment is conveniently located on the input jack on the controller, for ease of access. Last, the 50mm driver provides a clear crisp sound, whether you are in a chat party, or when you need to quiet down the home at night and want the sound to penatrate your ears through the headset.

A lot of fun with the watch, initially. I enjoy the interface, and the step tracker seems to be a lot better than the one on my Charge HR. Had to fool around with my Note 5 to get the notifications to work. If you get multiple texts, you will not be able to read them per se. You may only see one text at a time, as it comes in. Bad news though, and I am rating this a 3, is because I've had this product for no more than 6 hours, and already the home button popped off the device (button on the left side of the screen).
I now have to go back to the store and return it, or get an exchange. Not sure how you are supposed to be active with this watch if the buttons pop off of it. No idea how it happened, either, I just went for a run; this is quite frustrating. Otherwise, I would have given it a solid 4 or 5 so far for the use. Furthermore, I'd like to compliment the 4 optional watch clock faces you can change via the app.

It's not bad, but it's not great either.

I bought this soundbar system for my parents; a nice Christmas gift since last year, I got them a t.v -- figured I'd upgrade their sound, too. Anyway, the unboxing was easy, and setup was incredibly easy; most if not all Samsung products are very easy to setup, so thank you Samsung for keeping up with that trend. When the bar was on, the subwoofer did turn on as well (it's a wireless subwoofer, and this is perfect since it's about 6 feet from the television, and behind the couch, and no cables as present except for a power adapter). The system came with an optical cable, which by the way, your t.v should have an optical port on the back to connect to. This is great; however for the best sound -- it is best to have an HDMI cable, instead. Though, if your TV does NOT have an HDMI ARC input on it -- HDMI is useless. This means that, the HDMI ARC allows for sound to pass through that port specifically. Check your TV manual, or look at the back of your television to make sure you can get the optimum sound, otherwise, you can connect with the optical cable provided. My parents do not have HD cable (I tried to convert them) so it's rather difficult to tell how live broadcasts are for sound. Yet, using the bluray player through this is great. I tested MAD MAX FURY ROAD for sound, and it was ridiculous. Cannot tell that much with sound, with the optical cable versus an HDMI cable installed. However, I'd still encourage the use of HDMI. It's easy to program; you can turn the bar off with the power on and off button; though sound controls are "eh." There are a vast array of settings for sound features (such as cinema, sports etc.) Yet, the best use is by messing around with the treble and bass controls to find your liking. Overall, it sounds ok; at times, it still sounds muffled and the sound doesn't seem to carry out and around as much. Again, that could be the issue with the cable my parents typically use, but bluray film watching might be best to get the full sound features.

*** Watch Update ***
March 11, 2016
After a 25 minute ride in the suburbs to the nearest Best Buy that had a replacement for my watch, I am happy to say that the watch has been a success so far.
There are still some sync issues with texts coming in; I sometimes do not receive texts, but that could be based on my range near the device. Also, if anyone has a Galaxy Note 5, you will not be able to slide your finger on the device when someone is calling in to "accept," or "reject" the call. Based on Fitbit's support site, the Galaxy Note 5 is not supported -- yet -- for this feature. However, if this is not a "make or break" deal for you, then the watch would be just fine. I can still see who is calling me on the watch, which is fine. If I wanted to do the above aforementioned feature, I would have bought a gear s2 watch, instead.
Another issue I have is, if you want to buy another band for the watch, it will cost you $100 for either a Leather or Chain link watch. To me, that's a bit of robbery. Likewise, be careful if you do purchase another watch band, taking the little piece of screen out of it's housing shell is a pain in the toosh. I am serious; even when you go to charge the Fitbit Blaze, you have to pop the sucker out of the housing unit in order to place it into a cradle to charge. This to me is the WORST feature on this watch. I assume that is why one of my buttons popped off the watch, already.

Strike a perfect balance between study time and play time with Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE, the tablet designed to bring your projects to life.

Can the storage capacity be expanded

It contains up to 128 GB of storage. However, you can add additional storage (up to 1TB) with a Micro SD card. Depending on how many photos you take, songs you download, and notes, it is not a terrible idea to purchase a micro SD card to install on the tablet to expand your storage.

I have an OLD Samsung Tab S, 16 GB. How hard is it to transfer data from an old tablet to this new one?

As long as you have Smart switch installed, you should be able to transfer your old files to this one.

The Shark Cordless Pet Plus Vacuum with Anti-Allergen Complete Seal combines powerful suction with cordless convenience to deliver deep cleaning on all floor types. Its lightweight design and removable hand vac allow for cleaning from floor to ceiling.

Will this vacuum lay flat to clean under beds, furniture etc. ?

Hi there,

It "can" to some level, but because the actual headpiece of this gets in the way, you can only get so far underneath a bed where it cannot reach anymore. I will say that it does pick up any dust that settled under furniture well. Also, you can remove the long wand, and attach it to the accessories that come with it by itself, thus making it easier to get into small spaces.

The advanced lens provides superior image quality and a wider field of view, and allows you to track and zoom on moving objects with clarity. Hear and speak to visitors clearly with two-way audio. Personalize what you get notified for and create custom activity zones to ensure you only get alerts for what matters, reducing those that are less important. Arlo Secure includes cloud recordings of video clips at 2K or lower resolution for 30 days. Renewal of an Arlo Secure plan is required to maintain Arlo Secure features, including cloud storage and activity zones.

I currently have the Arlo Pro 2 with 5 cameras and want just one more. Can I use the PRO 4 as a sTANDalone hooked directly to Wi FI and do I have to purchase a SMART PLAN TO USE IT?

You will need to purchase the plan if you want it to record for you. If you do not, then your camera is a brick at this point, and will only be useful for viewing "live" feeds. The plan will allow you to record, and receive alerts.

Am I able to split the 4 cameras ( 2 cameras at different locations)?

Yes, but I would suggest checking your internet, and bandwidth connection at home to make sure you can have this many cameras connected to your home network. I have two cameras in two different locations so far, and I am not experiencing any issues.

Get immersed in high-fidelity audio with this Sonance 8-inch in-ceiling speaker. A 1-inch silk dome tweeter delivers crisp high-end frequencies, while the 8-inch glass fiber cone woofer fills the air with deep, resounding bass. This Sonance 8-inch in-ceiling speaker is easy to install and includes a paintable grille that blends into surrounding decor.

How many watts are these speakers?

Hi Don!

These speakers are 150 watts, per channel. Ideally, you want a receiver that can output, at the very least, 100 watts (or more) per channel to get the full-range of these.

Do the 8" speakers have an enclosure accessory for improvement of base quality?

Hi Deb!

No, they do not. However, Sonance offers fireboxes for these, as well as a way to insulate them better. Another idea is to take insulation and place it around the speakers, as to keep sound from resonating to other rooms in your home (that is at least one idea, although not necessary). I have a smaller home, and I cannot hear the speakers in the rooms from the MAG8Rs. However, my home theater system is loud as it is, so there is that.

Increase your productivity when you use Office Suite 2.0 for word processing. It can read and write .doc and .docx files you need for work or school, and spell check and a hyphenation dictionary prevent errors. Desktop publishing functions in Office Suite 2.0 are easy-to-use ways to create Web pages.

Will this program help me while I am writing a novel? I have a Lenovo laptop with a Windows10 upgrade. Currently I do not have any word processing software installed.

Yes, when purchasing the Office 365 software you will receive Microsoft Word (a word processing software), Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint. However, keep in mind that on a yearly basis you will need to purchase a subscription to keep using the software.
