Imagine being trapped inside a forest ranger station with your loved ones - and praying for your life as a fearsome, carnivorous creature lurks outside, waiting to clean up. This is the fate that befalls the young Danielle St. Claire (Cerina Vincent) and her boyfriend, Justin(Dominic Zamprogna) one evening, in acclaimed TV producer Stephen J. Cannell's made-for-television frightfest, It Waits. Traumatized by a recent auto accident that killed her friend - in which she was driving - St. Claire exiles herself to a ranger station in the San Bernardino Mountains. Meanwhile, a group of archaeology students from Princeton unwittingly open a nearby cave and unleash a centuries-old demon - that heads straight for Danielle. Underplayed and subtle, director Stephen R. Monroe leaves the goriest and most gruesome details off camera, allowing terror to build in the viewer's mind. Cannell co-scripted in addition to executive producing. Eric Schweig co-stars.

I bought this without seeing it because I was a fan of Cerina Vincent. This is a bit misleading if you judge based on the cover because you don't see the creature all that much. So if you are okay with that then great. Also if you are looking for nothing but gore this will disappoint you. The worst part of the kills are done offscreen and left to one's imagination. This is a very well done film with a good story and decent acting. This is a rare gem in an overcrowded direct to dvd market

A demon has come to Earth to force possessed women to bear its children, and it's up to a half-human/half-demon hybrid to save the human race in Earth vs. the Spider director Scott Ziehl's dark tale of satanic terror. As possession sweeps the land and the population of the planet lies helpless to defend themselves against the growing supernatural forces that surround them, the offspring of a demon and a human (Billy Drago) must fight to ensure the human race remains free from the murderous influences of Satan's minions.

Pretty good watch

I bought because I saw a preview for it. In some ways this is what the movie Constantine should have been like. This is a low budget film but I think it comes close to the spirit of Constantine in the comics. It is a cool movie but know that is low budget. I would give it a 3 and a half out of five. I don't know how or if I could do a half star

Just Ok

I will start this off saying that I enjoy pyschobilly. However, this cd is just ok. There are better pyschobilly bands out there. The Cramps and Reverend Horton Heat would be much better choices

William "One Shot" Beaudine's companion piece to the equally nonsensical Billy the Kid vs. Dracula represents a memorable closing to the eccentric "Z"-movie auteur's amusing body of work. The hare-brained concept finds the legendary outlaw Jesse James (John Lupton) stumbling into the decrepit lair of Maria Frankenstein (Narda Onyx) -- not the daughter but the granddaughter of the infamous monster-making Baron. Maria is, of course, following in Grandpa's footsteps by creating a creature of her own, transplanting the dormant but still-intact brain of Frankenstein's original monster into the body of one of James' cohorts. The lumbering, homicidal monster -- imaginatively dubbed "Igor" -- begins terrorizing townsfolk until the inevitable showdown between living and undead gunslingers. Though not as flamboyantly awful as its predecessor (mainly due to the absence of John Carradine), this is still worth a look for trash-movie completists.

This sounds like a very strange idea but it was alright. It is kinda slow in places but the movie has its moments and I don't see why someone who likes cheesey b movies wouldn't enjoy this

I got this cd at a time when I was against country music. I don't know why I chose to listen to this but it changed my mind. This was the first full Dwight album I had ever heard. It's great. I was a hardcore rocker and this opened my mind. I have to say that I don;t care for song number # 1 that much but this is near perfection

Watching this I was a bit disappointed. It felt very incomplete. I t would have been hard to do a comprehensive documentry about martial arts films but still I expected more. It starts out with animation and I was wondering if this was the right movie. It was but seems like a weird way to go through the history of kung fu. I am a huge kung fu geek so each section seemed incomplete and rushed. This probably should have been longer. This focuses on Chinese films only. I really think it should have been more complete. It should have included some samurai films and Tony Jaa's films Granted these are not technically kung fu but I still wish they had been mentioned. I do think this would be really good for a kung fu newbie. And it was cool that the movie Mr. Vampire was shown

The first sequel to the critically acclaimed Canadian horror film Ginger Snaps finds Katharine Isabelle and Emily Perkins returning to their roles under the direction of first-time feature filmmaker Brett Sullivan, who received a Genie Award nomination for his editing work on the first film. Released directly to DVD in the United States after a theatrical run in Canada, Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed finds Brigitte terrorizing a drug-rehab clinic when she's denied the serum that curbs her wolf-like tendencies. The film is presented in widescreen with the English soundtrack mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo. English and Spanish subtitles are available as well. Along with the film itself, the disc provides viewers with several bonuses, not the least of which is a feature-length audio commentary track. For an even more in-depth look at the making of the film, there is behind-the-scenes footage, a featurette focusing on the makeup department's task of transforming the actors into blood-thirsty beasts, and a collection of original storyboards. Last but not least, several deleted scenes are included, rounding out a nicely loaded package.

Worthy Sequel
on April 23, 2015

It is always hard to make a sequel to a classic but this movie comes close. The story picks up from the original. It is slow in some spots but not enough to take you out of the movie. It has a great ending that I wish would have continued in number 3 but number 3 was a prequel. This is a worthy sequel to a modern classic

Bridget (Emily Perkins) and Ginger (Katharine Isabelle) are back in Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning, a 19th century prequel to the first two successful entries in the Ginger Snaps film series. The film finds the doomed sisters wandering the wilderness when they stumble across a broken down outpost whose supplies have been cut off for nearly two months. Sadly, while they've been waiting, they've also been dying -- not of starvation, but from werewolf attacks. While Bridget recovers from an unfortunate encounter with a bear trap, the two lone women in the camp are faced with growing hostility stemmed from the fire and brimstone preacher (Hugh Dillon from the Canadian punk rock band the Headstones) and a dangerous secret that lands Ginger back in werewolf land once again. With tensions rising as the bloodthirsty creatures try to break down the fort walls, how will the group react when one of its own starts becoming the one thing that they want to keep out?

A Misfire

This is a prequel and most prequels are not worth much. Sadly that is the case with this. As a stand alone film this would be pretty good because the story and effects are pretty good. What hurts it is that it takes the stars of the original and their names and puts them in the 1800s. It is not fully explained if these are ancestors or not. It was very disappointing to me

Good But An Imitation

This cd is good but since the bands didn't get too creative with the arrangements it comes off as a imitation of the originals. Honestly this stuff could be heard in a rock bar every weekend somewhere in the united states by a local band
