Not sure it’s an improvement over my TV speakers

I was pretty excited to get this sound bar by Sony, mainly because it’s the perfect size for a bedroom and seemed pretty promising given my usual experiences with the brand. The device is very simple to set up and includes an optical cable should you need it. It also supports HDMI/ARC configuration which I have not yet tested since no cable was included. An advantage to this setup is that volume is controlled by the TV - meaning one less remote.
I ran a variety of sources through the sound bar to gauge audio performance and where i found it fell short is on TV shows with a lot of dialogue. Voices were actually less clear than my TV speakers, and I found myself wanting to switch back to them. I played with the various EQ settings via the remote and just couldn’t find a way to make them sound any better.
For music the device is pretty good for this size. It offers a bass boost functionality that fills in the audio using a downward firing “subwoofer” - my hand is bigger than this speaker so i struggle with the use of that terminology a bit. It also supports Bluetooth and can serve as a great alternative for playing music off your phone with decent quality.
Overall i feel like this one might end up back in the box if i can’t find a way to make voices sound more coherent.

I have a mobile business and frequently need to scan documents and receipts for tax purposes or to quickly send to a customer. I used to think using a phone app would suffice, but often times it felt like a lot more work than it should be. Enter the Brother portable scanner! This device connects via USB, WiFi to the cloud, or can scan directly to an SD card if you are somewhere without a computer or internet connectivity. Everything works as advertised and I have been pleased with the small form factor and overall performance. The only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars was the initial software installation process. It ran at the speed of molasses and it wasn’t really evident if it was frozen in place or just taking a really long time. The software itself is simple to use; i just would have liked more directions included and a better gauge as to how the install was coming along.
Overall this is definitely a product that I would recommend to anyone who needs this kind of portable productivity solution.

I’ve always operated under the assumption that shaving with an electric razor would be faster or easier than the old fashioned method. I now stand corrected, as nearly 10 minutes under my chin with just a few days growth seemed pretty excessive when I compare it to breaking out the razor and shaving cream. While the 4D heads do a nice job of conforming to your face as advertised, that didn’t equate to actual hair removal. Round and round and round I went, and not enough of anything happened. It is also very important to note this is a corded model - if you want something rechargeable you will want to look elsewhere. Overall I couldn’t recommend this product based on the inefficiency of the blades and the bare bones feature set.

Great keystroke action and a light show too

I had no idea how much i was going to enjoy my upgrade from a 400 series version of this keyboard from last year. The unique options that Logitech offer in terms of keystroke feel wouldn’t have made any difference to me until i had two completely different keyboards to compare. The version I selected is very smooth, just the right amount of clickiness, and easy to type fast on. The software allows for infinite possibilities in terms of lighting effects and a number of other adjustments that I’m sure will make gamers very happy. I would recommend trying out the various versions of this product to find the best one for your personal preferences, but I found this one to be perfect for me.

I’ve definitely had my patience tried by this device over the past week. I know this device is supposed to improve productivity and creativity but instead I have found it infuriating.
The bamboo paper software that is bundled in does not work properly. You have to open it on your monitor, open the book you are writing into, and then drag it over to the tablet. Once it’s there, you cannot open the book, and I’ve experienced tons of glitches from the pen no longer writing into the app, the app freezing when you try to add a page to the book, and just being generally difficult to use. Other apps work with full pen functionality, and it only ever becomes an issue with Bamboo paper. I have worked with Wacom support over the past few days and nothing has resolved the issue.
I also have some significant questions about the durability of the pen, particularly the nibs. I found that after barely any use, and within 24 hours of opening the box, my nib broke off and could not be removed from the pen. Add to this the fact that the pen is product specific - you can’t just go buy a different Wacom/Bamboo pen for this unit, and it makes me fear I’ll be doing this again somewhere down the road.
I believe this device could be useful if it just performed consistently, and that is unfortunately not something I can be optimistic about until the software catches up.

So I admittedly had never heard of this brand when I picked these up and that immediately left me a bit skeptical about performance. If I had to base everything on quality of materials and packaging, these wireless headphones would get 6 stars. The materials are luxurious, the charging case is very useful and holds multiple rounds of charge, and the tortoiseshell look is something different that stands out in a crowded product space. There are also a bunch of adapters to tailor the fit to your individual needs - something that will become very important as you start using them.
How is the sound, you ask? Pretty good overall. If they aren’t seated perfectly in your ears, though, the audio range is limited and flat at best. If you can get them fitting properly, you will absolutely know the difference and find better than average clarity and range for a true wireless product. Bluetooth pairing is effortless, and you can use one by itself if you want to be able to hear what’s going on around you - or just activate the ambient sound mode and get a similar effect with a reduction in audio quality. Noise cancellation is good - not amazing - but would do the trick in an office environment or not-crowded coffee shop.
Overall i think you have to weigh the quality of the overall package with some of its limitations - the main one being price - and determine if these are best for you. I’m definitely not disappointed in any way, but know there are plenty of products in this category at all price points that might give similar performance and this one is a true matter of taste and wallet combined.

We live in an era where technology is constantly getting faster, smaller, and more powerful. This Seagate SSD is a perfect example of something i never would have imagined even 5 years ago but is now available and outstanding.
When compared to something like my wallet (see photo) you truly appreciate the diminutive size of this device. And with a terabyte of storage you can easily backup what is most important to you with room to spare.
You’ll want to make sure you keep the supplied cable close by, as it does have a unrecognized plug on one end but is super speed USB on the other.
The drive works right out of the box and does come with some additional offers for Adobe Creative Cloud and a few other helper apps. Seagate doesn’t force anything on you and registration was quick and painless.

First thing’s first - there are a lot of people out there who would say their greatest hesitation for buying this product is rooted in concerns around privacy and security. If you are one of those people, you probably can stop reading now.
If you like the idea of a more immersive experience and the promise of additional functionality for the future, then keep reading.
I’ve experimented with connecting to other portal users, messenger users, and WhatsApp users. Each time the connection behaved very well, the video was pretty clear, and i was able to hang out on the couch and catch up with someone effortlessly.
The same could not be said for setup, given no HDMI cable was to be found in the box, and the software update required out of the box hung up quicker than when a telemarketer trying to sell me an auto warranty calls.
Once it did finally go through, i found the interface and remote simple to follow, though i managed to accidentally call someone more than once when fumbling around.
additionally, the portal has Alexa built in - and she is a little too powerful for her own good. My unit in the bedroom will miss a command but Portal, which is one room over, will hear it. That can be really great or really bad depending on if you are actually trying to use Alexa, or if she gets excited about something you said that wasn’t even meant for her.
All things considered, this device is great for families who want to stay connected in a more meaningful way. I found myself enjoying my conversations more when i could see everyone on the big screen, and ultimately i will keep using Portal any chance I get to bring those people that matter most “into” my home.

I have quite a few audio devices floating around between what I use at the gym, for travel, and for work. Not thinking of Adidas as a device company, I didn’t have very high expectations of these headphones.
Right away I was impressed with the design and how incredibly comfortable they are compared to my other on-ear headphones from the brand who shall remain nameless. The construction is very adaptive to your size and unusually comfortable. The materials remind me a lot of what Adidas uses to make shoes, and the cups cover my ears perfectly.
Another big surprise was the companion app. With multiple EQ settings including the ability to customize, Siri support, and even functionality to trigger actions in Spotify with the multifunction button - it’s easy to see a lot of thought was put into the quality of this product.
By now you should be asking, “well how do they SOUND?”
Pretty darn good, to be honest. Deep bass, clear highs, and an all around balanced sound make listening to these so much better than anything else I have laying around the house. It sounds like they have awesome staying power as well, with an up to 40 hour battery life.
The only thing I would have done differently is the multifunction control, and this is a minor gripe i have with most wireless headphones these days and not exclusive to this product. It’s not naturally easy to find, and when you do it’s not a natural thing to remember which way you’re pushing and what it does. It’s kind of like playing Simon your eyes closed.
I can’t stress this enough - these are worth the $ even compared to the established leaders in this space. Definitely check them out!

I've always laughed about the whole idea of getting a phone in a particular color only to cover it up with a bulky, bland case. When it came time to pick up the latest iPhone I opted for the unique green color and needed a case that would be durable and yet show off the color of the phone. In the past, I've found that clear cases were either made of hard plastic that cracked on the first drop, or turned colors very quickly.
While I can't speak to the color changing principles for this case since I haven't had it long enough, I can say it was night and day easier to apply and remove than the Apple branded clear case I initially picked up with the phone. I always felt like i was going to break something by removing it, and with the Tech21 it comes off smoothly and is very easy to reapply.
Another prime difference between the two cases is that I can actually engage the mute switch without a fingernail jammed into the slot, since the hole around the switch is much more accommodating on the Tech21. Because of the softer case material, the buttons themselves also have more "give" and just feel more natural to use.
Bottom line - this case is absolutely the one you want if you have the iPhone 11 Pro Max and don't want to hide your green phone, and feels like it will be durable for all those unfortunate bounces and drops we all try to avoid now that phones are more expensive than mortgage payments.

Is it normal for this mouse to make clicking noises when the computer boots up? It clicks as if I were toggling the scroll mode, but I'm not touching the mouse.
I don’t know about whether or not it’s normal but mine does it too. Didn’t even put two and two together until i read your question. It sounds like the clutch on the scroll wheel engaging and disengaging as the power to the USB port changes.
