Very funny movie with a great cast. Wiig's character has hit a rough patch but finds her life turned upside down when her best friend gets engaged and ask her to be her maid of honor. As she leads the bridesmaids down the road to the wedding, her life unravels and she becomes the maid of dishonor. Some laugh out loud moments.

One of my favorite films from my youth. Pfeiffer and Gibson steam up the screen in this action crime drama while Russell and Raul Julia play great supporting roles. It is a story of best friends who are on opposite sides of the law and involved with the same women. We follow the police investigation trying to take down a Mexican drug lord while we get involved in the relationship between Pfeiffer, Gibson and Russell.

Jay Chou steals the show

This movie is a jump off of the original Green Hornet comic book and television series. Seth Rogen is slightly awkward in the leading role as the Green Hornet but as the movie progresses his character becomes more likable through his relationship with Kato (Jay Chou). Kato and his cool gadgets were the star of the movie. I enjoyed the appearance of Cameron Diaz but found myself wanting to see her character get more into the action, so I guess that means if they make a sequel with the trio I will watch it. I found that I liked the movie better the second time I watched it, probably because I was not expecting the flavor of the original tv series this time.

It is a story of a normal family whose wife/mother is accused and convicted of a murder she says she didn't commit. The tension lies in the moral dilemma of what path the husband (Crowe) will take with his wife in prison.

This movie is a visually and emotionally rich timeless romantic story of good verses evil. It is meant to connect with the romantic optimistic viewer in all of us. I felt the power of love across time and the possibility of hidden miracles. The cast tells this story through their excellent performances! I found this to be one of Collin Farrell's best performances and really enjoyed Russell Crowe's powerful dark performance.
Blue-ray disc and packaging are good quality, the picture and sound are clear, however the aspect ratio is formatted to widescreen TVs and is not presented in the original movie format. The disc includes some deleted scenes and 2 featurettes.

This off beat crime drama/comedy is set in the 70's. The story follows some petty crooks on their get rich scheme. As the crime plot unfolds all is not as it seems with the criminals or the victims. The story is filled with twists and dry dark humor that some may find to down the middle but I enjoyed it as it was played. There is a subtlety in Jennifer Anniston's performance which suggest to me much more than the usual comedy queen antics. Tim Robbins is a delightful sleaze in his part as the "mark" and Bey and Hawkes are a good crime duo.

This is an average entertaining action drive-in flick that is presented in an unoriginal Tarantino style by a young director who tells the story by jumping back and forth in time with some slow mo violence. The three female lead characters are a fun addition. They work for crime boss, Bruce Willis who sends them to a dinner to intercept a truck and a drug deal. Things go wrong, thus the story unfolds and finally ends with a twist.

The discs are packaged in two blue plastic blu-ray disc holders which are housed in a cardboard slip cover. This is an ambitious HBO mini-series that was nominated for several Emmys. The story is a human drama that takes place in Rome and centers around the friendship of two historical figures, Pompey and Cesar. It begins with Cesar's return from an eight year war after conquering the Gauls and continues into his climb to power. The story unfolds through betrayal, family dysfunction and violence. It is unfortunate that more episodes were not produced.
