A 3.5 star family comedy. Alexander has his horrible terrible days and thinks no one understands. When he makes a birthday wish for everyone to understand, each member of his family goes through an even worst horrible terrible bad day. Now that he knows they understand, the family grows closer. This movie has some funny and heart warming moments.

A Disney/Marvel collaboration that is a heart-warming and humor-filled story that children and adults alike can enjoy and appreciate. The screenplay does a good job of laying the back story for the adventure and the visuals are great. This is a very well made movie that uses terms and ideas of real robotics research. The story centers on a 14-year-old genius named Hiro Hamada who lives in the city of San Fransokyo and is too smart for school. His life changes when a tragedy strikes and he must apply himself and work with his new found friend, Baymax to solve the crime.

A clever, funny parody of 1970 disaster movies with so many jokes packed into each and every scene. The visual and sound effects are even gags. A model plane is used that is so fake it's hilarious and a prop plane sound effect is used even though the plane is obviously a jet.

The historical civil rights facts are somewhat spotty and disjointed but the movie shows how these changes affected this man’s life and family. The novel and screenplay were written by Laura Esquivel, and the film is directed by Laura Esquivel's husband, Alfonso Arau. This is a multi-sensory experience of a tale of forbidden love centered around the preparation and eating of food.
