The Amped Ally plus wireless router comes with an extender and the package is very clearly marked as to how to set them up and connect it to the modem.
The setup of both the primary router and extender was quick and easy. The primary router has 4 gig ethernet ports, a wps button and a usb port. The extender has a single gig port and a sync button to connect to the primary router. This was the easiest setup of any extender so far and the multicolor led light on front of the device clearly indicates the status. No configuration on the extender is required.
The coverage is really really good and I have not experienced any loss of signal. However there are a few shortcoming with the usb storage port. I had to reboot the router everytime a usb device was attached and it would be awesome if this is fixed in a future uodate. The device however shows is DLNA enabled and shows up as a network share. Streaming to both wired and wireless worked great.
The app is very easy to use and you can assign devices to users and then control the way they access internet. You can block typical social apps easily as well.
The only issue I had was when one day none of the devices worked when connected to wifi. After rebooting manually the router returned to factory defaults and I had to run a quick setup. best part was I wasnt at home and was able to do this remotely. Remote access is through app only I believe.

Hear Everything with this Kraken

We all know how headphones somehow fall short of expectations especially when there is a bit of a noise where you are using them and its a constant effort to find something better.
These Kraken headphones do deliver as promised. The frequency response is 12Hz ti 28kHz with and impedance of 32ohms at 1kHz. A high sensitivity rating with 50mm neo magnet drivers. Being USB it allows you to connect it to many devices. It also worked fine with a usb to audio adapter without any loss in performance.
The cable length is 2m or 6.6 ft and is long enough for most of the things you would be doing with the headset on.The mic on this is very very sensitive and picks up the lowest of sounds. The SNR of 55dB is quite excellent along with the sensitivity it offers. This microphone also supports unidirectional pickup patterns.
The headset works with PC and Mac and the drivers did not pose any issues. Excellent quality and comfort.

Worked for AT&T and T-mobile

Our family uses both AT&T and T-mobile and both of the carriers have had poor signal coverage for LTE. We receive only 1 bar and mostly rely on wifi calling at home.
I was really hoping that the Weboost would provide a better coverage and to my surprise it did. Initially it was a struggle to find an appropriate place for this and after some research I found that the best place is to keep it closest to the largest window in the house and the antenna facing inwards. The other antenna can be places hig up on the wall.
We are extremely pleased with this device as it provides really good boost of the weak provider signals for both the carriers. We have been using this for almost 3 weeks now and the signal in the house is usually around 4 to 5 bars and the call quality has been reliable. Also we have noticed significant improvement in LTE data speeds.
The box did seem a little big and I was worried it was going to be an eyesore, however it blended just fine. The box comes with everything you need and is easy to setup.
This is a must have device if you have poor provider signals in your house.

The box for. Linksys Velop is pretty big and it is nice to see how simple and organised the contents inside are. The 3 wifi units each come in a sleeve to protect them and 3 power adapters neatly stored in place. There is minimum literature inside and most of the features are listed on the box itself. Also comes with a CAT6 flst ethernrt cable.
Bottom of each unit has an ssid and password imprinted and it is advised to have them on hand before you begin the installation. There are 2 Ethernet ports on each unit sllowing you to connect any devices that need a physical connection to the network. Any of the 3 units can connect to the modem of the internet provider leaving you with a port for physical on the first unit and a couple on the others. The power adapters do seem to be a bit large and will block side ports on the wall. The status of the unit can be determed by a single multicolored blinking LED.
The setup for velop can only be done using an app for IOS or Android and the access page cannot be reached by web on the PC or Mac. This is a serious step towards pc independence for wifi configuration. The setup however is quick and easy, just make sure your old wifi is off or else everytime the velop boots you would connect to another wifi and the setup would break. I did have to close my iphone app a couple of times but it was not frustrating at all. Once connected to velop the app has a step by step guide to run through the entire setup allowing you to change the network ssid and password. The advanced setup is only available after initial setup is complete and there is not much there.
Coverage of velop is the best I have ever experienced in my home and the devices work seamlessly moving from one corner of the house to the other. Also since there are no external antenna you almost forget its in the room. The browsing and file copying across multiple devices is superfast. At some point you do forget that wifi is around and you barely notice any changes. There are no frustration as with the traditional wifi model and I personally believe this wifi mesh model will be the future of home networking.
The only thing I would add to velop is the capacity to have around 4 physical ports and a couple of usb ports for sharing data and adding a network drive. However for something like velop this is an excellent step forward. You will not be dissapointed with velop and the simplicity and reliability it brings to home wifi.

The base is very sturdy and does not move at all while being used on the countertop and you do not have to keep holding the top as in traditional blenders. We found the power cable to be long enough for our needs. The labels really pop up with the black and silver classic finish and the different modes do the job as expected.We really like the extract feature to make perfect fruit and vegetable mixed blends for the baby.
With the 3 cups for smoothies it makes it easier to blend juices without having to go clean them just because somebody in the family needs other ingredients or has some condition that does not permit particular foods. We found the blades to be very good compared to other blenders and easy to clean.

Nice multi-use portable battery

If you own both an apple watch and an iphone this is an excellent portable battery. It works flawlessly to charge both the apple watch and iphone at the same time.
Pros - Easy charging for both iphone and apple watch
Cons -
low mAh yeild - I have charged it multiple times and used it to charge devices from dead. It appears to have provided around 5000 mAh and not 6700 as advertised.
Simultaneous charging - You cannot charge the battery while charging devices connected. This feature would have been nice to have.

Versatile multigroom tool

I have used this trimmer for almost two months and have found it to be so good that I travel with it weekly. One charge has lasted me more that 2 weeks with daily use.
One of the biggest differences from other such tools is how quiet this shaver is. Quiet enough to use it in a room with baby sleeping and not waking the little one up.
It comes with seven attachments that can handle all the trimming needs from hair to body and the cut quality is outstanding. The carry and store away bag is of excellent quality and large enough to fit everything.
The multi voltage charger charges quickly and can come handy while traveling.
Excellent Multigroom tool from a trusted brand.

An open source router gives you the flexibility to use open source software from DD-WRT or OpenWRT to update the firmware that can be customized to your needs that range from setting up vpn, web server, manage hotspots, analyze network traffic, detect intrusion and so on
Setup - If you like a step by step setup process this router is awesome. However for power users you cannot skip to the advanced configuration without going through the basic setup. Also if you do stop in the middle you need to do a hard reset to get it back to initial setup. A skip to manual confihuration would have been nice.
Coverage - I found the coverage to be really good in a 1500 square feet house with 3 rooms. The signal stregth for both 2.4 and 5 GHz network was very stable and none of the 15-20 devices in the house had any issues.
Speed - This router has a very fast processor on board and is rated to handle up to 3.2 Gbps of data. It supports a/b/g/n networks and is backward compatible with older devices. All the ports are gigabit ports and it also has 2 usb ports.
Media Server - In todays worls we record a lot of videos and save them to a hard drive. The best way to backup and use the data is to connect the drive to a network server and then streaming it wirelessly to all DLNA devices. This router worked perfectly to stream videos to Fire tv and never had an issue.
Software - Since this router supports open source software it will be very interesting to see what firmwares come out from DDWRT and OpenWRT in the future to customize it to your needs. The included software is good as is and one of the best feature is to see the dashboard and see how much data is being used on the internet connection.
All in all this router is an excellent network device that offers more for the increasing demands of todays devices and support digital lifestlye.

Acer makes some really good electronics for the mid market and the Acer Iconia One 10 is an good entry level 10 inch screen tablet.
Whats Included - Tablet, Wall Adapter with micro usb cable and an acer tripod stand.
Screen - The Acer Iconia One 10 has a 10.1 inch diagonal IPS 1280 x 800 screen which looks pretty good when viewing photos and videos. From my experience it worked fairly well in sunlight and the auto brightness worked as expected.
OS - Out of the box it runs Android 6 Marshmallow and the experience is very smooth. There was no lag when playing basic games like Angry Birds, Candy crush and so on.
Hardware Specs - This runs a 1.3 GHz quad core MTK MT8163 processor which has surprisingly good results with the included android marshmallow. This had a 32GB ROM with an expandable micro sd slot making it easy to supplement increasing memory needs for data, photos and movies. The 1 GB ram is low but good enough for an entry level tablet. It has two front stereo speakers and the sound quality is pretty good.
Camera - It has a 5MP rear and a2MP front camera. The quality of the picture is decent but definitely leaves room for improvement. I believe this is a way for Acer to keep cost low while providing a balance for quality. I am sure no one would buy this to take high quality pictures.
Wifi - This does have a/b/g/n compatible wifi and can connect to 5 GHz networks. Browsing experience was good enough using the wifi and it holds the signal well without any drops.
Overall a very good android 10.1 inch tablet with decent performance.
