It works great as an accent light

I have a home theater room with two main light fixtures (each has two Phillips Hue multi-colored bulbs in them), a Phillips hue strip running under my couch, and a Bloom accent light sitting behind my projector screen (which is 103" in size). I was initially worried that the Bloom wouldn't be bright enough to be used as an accent light but it is. I can see the light its casting all around my screen making a nice frame that I can change to match the scenery.
I do wish it was a bit brighter, I also wish that Phillips would figure out how to make the power adapter smaller. My power strip is already cramped enough and the plug for the Bloom is bigger than anything else I have plugged in. But it still does the job, the light was easy to pair with my Hue Bridge, and the app connected to the light almost immediately.

A nice case, solid implementation

I went ahead and purchased these along with a pair of SoundSport wireless earbuds. The combined price ($200) put them on par with what I would pay for a pair of Jaybird Freedom earbuds or Powerbeats 2 when they aren't on sale.
The case isn't necessary but it is nice. The case is compact, securely stores the earbuds, and has plenty of space for a USB in the case's internal pocket. I usually rely on the case for charging my earbuds after they ran out of juice. It's really convenient as I will plug my earbuds into the case, zip them up, and leave them in my car overnight to charge (though it only takes about an hour). I'll do this about 3 times before the case needs to be recharged and I will do that either with a USB charger in my car or one in my office.
The case is a convenient way to charge your earbuds wherever and whenever you want. It has a multi-colored LED light that will let you know just what the case is doing whether it's charging its internal battery, charging the earbuds, or if you are just checking to see how much juice is left in the case's battery.
The case seems well-built though the outside soft rubber of mine is already showing signs of wear after putting the case in my pocket a total of three times (there's a scratch across the Bose logo). But they still work fine. I recommend these to anyone who wants a convenient, albeit completely unnecessary, way to charge their earbuds while protecting them.

Great wireless, sports earbuds

I've gone through quite a few pairs of wireless earbuds to find just the right ones. Models from JBL, Beats, Jaybird (including their new Freedom F5 earbuds), Sony, Samsung, and LG just never worked for me. They either relied on uncomfortable wing ear tips that would only push the actual ear tips into the sides of my ear canal (Jaybird), rely on ear clips that wouldn't actually clip the earbuds on (Beats), or use ear tips that didn't hold the earbuds in and they would just pop out after a minute or two (the rest).
Bose has really nailed the comfort factor with these. The earbuds may not look the best and they definitely aren't the sleekest option but I can wear them for hours without having to adjust the earbuds or take them out. They also don't fall out and I never have to adjust them while wearing. That's a huge feat for me as no other company has provided wireless earbuds that can do that.
Their sound signature is also great. Out of all the earbuds I tested, I preferred the Jaybird Freedom F5 earbuds as I could use Jaybird's app to make my own EQ. The Bose sound just like the Jaybird's whenever I tuned them but they have a wider sound stage. There is actual instrument separation with the drums, guitars, hi-hats, etc. that isn't there with other earbuds.
I usually get about 6-7 hours of battery life with these which is what Bose promises. I haven't had any issues getting these wet, they really are sweat and weather resistant. Some people have had issues with their earbuds not working after they are done with an exercise regiment but Bose found the issue (these people were sweating profusely) and has corrected it with newer models. They are also replacing any older earbuds whether people have experienced the problem or not.
These are the best wireless earbuds to hit the market. They are comfortable, stay in, offer sweat resistance, and sound great. The wire connecting the two earbuds is just the right length and it doesn't bounce around or pull on the earbuds. Bose even included a small clip just in case the wire bothers you, the clip lets you secure the wire to your shirt collar. I've worn these with regular t-shirts as well as shirts with collars and the wire is still fine.
I definitely recommend these headphones if you want the best wireless earbud experience. You can't wear them with a helmet and they do protrude from your ears more than other wireless earbuds but those are small prices to pay for quality earbuds like this. Lastly, these earbuds are priced just right. $50 less than competing Jaybird models and they are in the same price range as Powerbeats 2 when they're on sale. $150 well worth it.

I purchased this when it was on sale, I believe it was 50% off so I only paid $50 for it. Best Buy almost always has this on sale, it's currently $75 on their website. I'm not sure if I would pay the full $100 MSRP but that's just me being cheap.
I'm not quite sure why people are complaining about this. The setup was really easy. It took my wife and I about 12 minutes to have this setup and secured to the wall. The whole tower is in two parts: a bottom and top half. They were easy to line up and stack on top of one another. The backing material is broken into four sections that were extremely easy to lineup and secure. It's a textured back that looks nice, I also liked that they included screws to hold the back together with perforated holes that made everything line up. It wasn't like other backing material where you have to line it up manually and use small nails, which never work, to hold it in place.
My only complaint is the top half is secured to the bottom half using those weird metal spokes that are screwed into place. Those aren't really secure and they often allow the media towers and bookshelves they are used for to bend in the middle. It also means that you can't pick up the towers/cases by the top to move them.
Other than that, this is a solid media tower. I currently have over 500 Blu-ray movies in it and still have the whole bottom row before it's filled. It looks nice in my media room and stores all of my movies.

A great, inexpensive receiver

I was updating my surround sound system to a new set of speakers and a new receiver. My old receiver was not going to be powerful enough to drive the new speakers I purchased. I also wanted a receiver that would calibrate itself and be future proof allowing the pass through of 4K video. I only wanted a 5.1 system and the speakers I have aren't Atmos compatible.
All-in-all, this is a great, basic 5.1 receiver. My speakers are sufficiently powered, audio is clear and defined, setup and calibration was super easy and accurate (I didn't have to adjust anything after it self-calibrated), I like that I have two subwoofers hooked up to it now for even more intense bass (I just carried over my old subwoofer), I've used Bluetooth input far more than I thought I would, there are plenty of inputs on the back of the receiver for everything I have and then some, and it works fine with the 1080p, 3D video I throw at it.
I currently have an Xbox One, PS4, Apple TV, and cable receiver all hooked up to it with the main video being output to my projector. It's easy to switch between inputs, I experience zero lag, and it properly plays back all HD audio (DTS HD MA and Dolby TruHD). The receiver will even down-mix 7.1 content to 5.1. The version of Dolby Pro Logic is the most up to date and does a good job at "up-scaling" stereo content to 5.1, at least it does a good job for movies. It and DTS Neo do a terrible job when up-scaling for music as I can easily hear audible flaws. That's OK as I really only use Dolby Pro Logic for movies and TV shows, I just set the receiver to Stereo X2 for music.
I can't really find a fault in this receiver, not for the price. Sure, there are other, more powerful receivers but they are more expensive. This will easily fit the need of someone who is looking for a more basic, 5.1 receiver that has some bells and whistles but doesn't care about 7.1, Dolby Atmos, or anything else like that. It has paired well with my Bose Acoustimass 10 speakers.

I purchased this UE Roll knowing full well it was last generation's model. Having said that, it is well worth the price especially at the discounted mark. The UE Roll is rugged, waterproof (just in case you drop it in the pool), is small and lightweight, and it has good sound quality for its size. The UE Roll really emphasizes the highs in music while the mids and lows are neglected. That's par for the course when it comes to Bluetooth speakers of this size and price. You really need to spend at least $200 to get something with decent bass.
I've taken my UE Roll in the shower, out on the pool (I have a small pool floaty for it), on a river for some slow rafting days, and to the beach multiple times. The advertised battery life is accurate, the UE Roll actually lasts a bit longer than the advertised life. If you've owned any UE Boom product, this will be very similar. There's an app so you can customize the EQ and you can pair it up with another UE Roll for stereo sound.
All-in-all, this is the absolute best $50 Bluetooth speaker that you'll find on the market even compared to the second generation (which really only gets a little louder). Of course, the UE Boom 2 and UE Megaboom will sound better but they are far more expensive. If you're on the market for an inexpensive Bluetooth speaker, do yourself a favor and go with this as you won't regret it. Just make sure you keep your expectations in check and don't expect this to produce bass like a subwoofer can.

Great typing experience

This is my new daily keyboard for my MacBook Pro when it's docked at home. Apple finally updated their wireless keyboard to include a rechargeable battery (which lasts a long time and is charged quickly) and more modern design. The typing experience is about the same as the previous keyboard, in terms of key travel, but it's better overall as Apple increased the size of the keys.
The only feature I wish Apple would have included was a backlight. The keyboard is rather expensive and typing in the dark would have been improved had they included a backlight system. There are other keyboards in this price range that include a backlight. They aren't as compact or well-designed as Apple's keyboard but still.
Owners of the previous generation Apple Bluetooth keyboard should upgrade unless they purchased 3rd party rechargeable batteries. People with plastic keyboards and models that use a USB port will find that this is a huge upgrade.

Best Waterproof Case

This is the best waterproof case I have used with my iPhone 6s Plus. I have taken my phone to the beach, pool, and through various outdoor activities with this case and it has survived. Unfortunately, this case is terrible for everyday use as there is a fab between the screen and built-in protector. It's not bad for extreme use but typing in text is awful when using this case.
On a positive note, I was able to plug in every pair of headphones I have even when not using the Lifeproof headphone adapter. All-in-all, this is the most protective case you could ever get. It isn't the easiest to use or offer the easiest access to your iPhone but it protects against water, drops, dust, and snow. That's more than any other case and more than enough for me to use it while traveling and on vacation.
