Barry Levinson's Academy Award-winning comedy drama about a callow young man who learns a great deal during a road trip with his autistic brother gets a top-flight presentation for this special-edition DVD release. Rain Man has been given a letterboxed transfer to disc in the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1, which has also been enhanced for anamorphic playback on 16 x 9 monitors. The original English soundtrack has been remixed for playback in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a dubbed French version appears in Dolby Digital Surround and a Spanish track is in Dolby Digital Mono. The feature also includes optional subtitles in English, French, and Spanish. Headlining the list of bonus materials are no fewer than three commentary tracks from director Barry Levinson and screenwriters Ronald Bass and Barry Morrow. Also included is a deleted scene, a short feature on the making of Rain Man, a gallery of still photos, and the original theatrical trailer.
Wow. What a movie! Great story. Great actors. Watch tom cruise go from being the careless tuff guy who wants his fathers fortune, to becoming the kind hearted man who just wants to take care of his brother. Great great great movie.
Just buy this. If you love Tool you are already gonna be buying it. If you are debating if Tool is for you: just buy it. The music is beautiful and the lyrics are very thought provoking. You can never go wrong with Tool. Its just one of those bands you know what you're getting yourself into when you buy it.
I love Shakira. She's beautiful and has a fantastic voice. I don't speak spanish but I love listening to her. This is her most mainstream album yet. Many may not like that. I don't mind it.
I admit it. I bought the first cd because Jill is a babe. We all know she is. K with that aside....she is an amazing singer! Some of her screeching can take getting used to, but she definitely knows how to front a metal band.
They are back! And stronger than ever before. This has got to be the best comeback cd of the decade. Many were disappointed with Nastradomus. I loved it, but wasn't my favorite. This one has something for everybody. Every song sounds like it was written with the intentions of becoming a hit. Make sure you buy the deluxe edition. Extra songs are DEFINITELY worth it. They got a pretty cool THANK YOU ALL song at the end too. I sincerely hope this isn't the end of the mighty priest!!
This boys are from Salt Lake City Utah and I couldn't be more proud of these guys. They have come along way and this is by far their strongest release. Every song is jaw dropping. Makes sure you listen to it LOUD
I love Suicide Silence. They are one of the death metal bands that I can really appreciate. Mitch had amazing vocals and kept the band sounding heavy and fresh. With his death, many thought it was the end for this band. NOPE! This is their best cd. New vocalist. Same sound. Even heavier. More melodic. Incredible guest appearances. This release is gold!
