Traditional Timepiece With Smartwatch Features
on November 20, 2021
Posted by: Daniel
from Saint Paul, MN
PROS:
* Insane battery life
* ECG
* SpO2 sensor
* Fitness tracking
* Sleep tracking
* Looks amazing
* Luminous dials
CONS:
* Can't reply to messages
== SETUP ==
Before unboxing the ScanWatch, you'll want to download Withings' "Health Mate" from either the App Store or Google Play. The app will walk through each step, but all it really does it ensure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled, detects the ScanWatch, and you'll need to enter a code that's displayed on the ScanWatch into the app to confirm pairing. Once the watch is synced, the app will guide you through a quick tutorial highlighting the features.
It doesn't matter if your phone is an Android device or an iPhone, the ScanWatch works flawlessly. My primary phone is an iPhone and I have not run into any connection issues or bugs (I'm sure Apple would prefer I use their own smartwatch instead). My old Android phone was able to pair with the ScanWatch just as easily. There does not appear to be any favoritism from Withings regarding which phone OS you use.
== FITNESS TRACKING ==
Withings advertises that the ScanWatch will be able to detect whenever you start a workout. I've found that it was pretty good at picking up when I started jogging/running, but cycling was another story. Thankfully, you can use the dial to manually start a workout (running, swimming, cycling, walking, and "other" are your options).
All your workouts are instantly logged into the app, so I would highly recommend working out with your phone nearby. This isn't a problem for me, since I like to use my phone for music streaming.
== HEALTH FOCUS FEATURES ==
One of my favorite features of the ScanWatch is the sleep tracking. With an advertised battery life of up to 30 days (more on that in a min), it makes the ScanWatch an ideal sleep tracker compared to the more traditional smartwatches from other manufacturers.
The ScanWatch heartrate tracking seems pretty accurate and I have not run into any errors trying to take a reading. If you don't like your watches with a snug/tight fit, you might face occasional problems.
The SpO2 sensor is pretty good, but I don't have access to much more accurate medical-grade O2 sensors to compare it. I do have seasonal asthma, so it is quite helpful to be able to verify/gauge how well my inhaler is working when I have a bad attack.
Recording an ECG the same process as measuring your O2. The only difference is that your ECG setup needs to be "approved" before you can use it on a regular basis.
For nutrition tracking, Withings has partnered with the makers of the MyFitnessPal app (available for both iOS and Android). I'm very happy with their partnership, since I was already using MyFitnessPal for my food and weight logs.
== BATTERY LIFE & CHARGING ==
The ScanWatch uses a little magnetic puck to charge the watch. The charging cable uses USB-A, which is handy for if you want to charge using a laptop or many smartphone chargers.
Withings claims that you can get up to 30 days of battery life with the ScanWatch. Your actual battery life will really depend on what you're doing each day. If you're using the SpO2/ECG multiple times a day, or multiple workouts, you won't be hitting 30 days. I use the SpO2 a few times a week, record workouts every other day or so, and I'm getting around 25 days before I need to charge. This is NOT a complaint. I am absolutely thrilled to be able to have most smartwatch features, but only need to charge my watch once a month.
== BOTTOM LINE ==
I love all the features of modern smartwatches, but I miss the aesthetics of traditional timepieces. The ScanWatch gives me the best of both worlds. While I can't reply to messages, unlike other smartwatches, I don't need to charge my ScanWatch daily (unlike other smartwatches).
If you prefer to wear traditional timepieces, but want to avoid buying and wearing a 2nd device just for fitness/health tracking, I would HIGHLY recommend considering the ScanWatch.

It's Good*, But It Can Be Better
on November 19, 2021
Posted by: Daniel
from Saint Paul, MN
PROS:
* RTX 3050
* 6-core Ryzen 5 5600H
* DLSS
* Upgradable memory
* Two M.2 storage slots
* Rear power and display ports
CONS:
* One stick of RAM
* Poor display quality
* No Windows Hello
* USB 2.0 ports
* Smaller 56Wh battery
== SETUP ==
Setting up the G15 5515 is no different than any other Windows laptop. Once you power it on for the first time, you'll need to go through the Windows 10 setup process.
After running all necessary updates, the only bloatware that I wanted/needed to remove was McAfee. Dell does a decent job of keeping the 3rd party bloatware to a minimum. If you don't want all of Dell's included software, you can always just do a clean install of Windows.
== BUILD QUALITY ==
The G15 5515 is "unapologetically plastic", no aluminum or magnesium chassis here! It's a budget-focused gaming laptop, so I'm fine with it. The light gray plastic chassis has a very unique look, with dark gray speckles to help make this design stand out.
The screen is a FHD (1920x1080p) 120Hz panel, but isn't very bright at only 250 nits. Color accuracy is pretty low, with a color gamut of 45% NTSC and a contrast ratio of 600:1 certainly doesn't help. The worst part about the display is the response time: 35ms. If you're going to be playing competitive CS:GO, I would HIGHLY recommend using an external monitor.
The keyboard is "okay". The keys have decent travel and feel okay to type on, but I don't know if I would enjoy typing out a 10+ page report on the this keyboard. Thanks to the large size of the laptop, it does have a numpad (this also means that the qwerty keys are shifted to the left of the center when typing).
The camera is 720p with no Windows Hello support. It does support face-tracking with Windows and is "okay" for occasional video calls, but if you're planning on having your G15 5515 pulling double-duty (gaming/streaming and work), I would consider buying an external camera to use.
== PERFORMANCE ==
I found that there are four major use cases that will have noticeable impacts on gaming performance with this laptop: if the game supports Nvidia's DLSS feature, if you're using the laptop display, if you're using an external monitor, and if you have both RAM slots occupied.
Since people prioritize different metrics when gaming (FPS vs resolution), I focused on two popular games with built-in benchmarks for the sake of consistency: Far Cry 5 (FC5) and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Please note, all the benchmarks were run with high settings and my external monitor is a 24.5" 1080p 144Hz TN display (I also disabled the G15 display when connected to my monitor using the G15's HDMI 2.1 port).
Without using an external monitor AND using the single stick of memory, FC5 average FPS was about 68. With using an external monitor and the single stick of memory, FC5 saw an improvement, averaging around 76 FPS. After adding an additional 8GB stick of memory, and using an external monitor, the average frame rate was 85 FPS. That's a 25% improvement, just by using an external 1080p display AND having both RAM slots occupied.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider saw the most drastic differences, mostly due to the fact that it supports DLSS.
Without DLSS:
- Average of 57 FPS with a single stick of RAM and no external display.
- Average of 68 FPS with a single stick of RAM and an external display.
- Average of 77 FPS with two sticks of RAM and an external display.
WITH DLSS:
- Average of 66 FPS with a single stick of RAM and no external display.
- Average of 79 FPS with a single stick of RAM and an external display.
- Average of 112 FPS with two sticks of RAM and an external display.
By turning on DLSS, using two sticks of memory, AND using an external display, I was able to almost DOUBLE the performance! However, this game really shows how much of an impact is made by Dell only including one memory module. Just adding a 2nd stick of RAM saw an improvement of 41% when using DLSS with an external display.
== THERMALS ==
The dedicated "Game Shift" G key (F9) will cause the fans to spin at max speed to help with cooling when gaming. While using "Game Shift" and elevating my G15 on a laptop stand (for max airflow), I'm seeing CPU temps in the high 80s and low 90s. GPU temps are much better: the hotspot was showing temps in the high 60s and low 70s.
The GPU and CPU are on the "back" of the motherboard (you'll need to remove the motherboard from the chassis to access them), so if you wanted to repaste later it's going to take more effort+time compared to previous Dell gaming laptops.
== BATTERY LIFE ==
Nobody really buys a gaming laptop and expects stellar all-day battery life. I can't find anything from Dell with a battery life estimate, which makes sense, since it will greatly depend on what you're doing.
If you're trying to game on battery, you'll be lucky to get two hours (and even then, this really depends on what game you're playing, screen brightness, Bluetooth, etc.).
However, if you want to use this laptop for more than just gaming (such as for school), you can get decent battery life out of the smaller 56Wh battery. By setting the screen brightness to 60%, turning off Bluetooth, and changing the Windows Power Mode to "best power efficiency", I was able to get about 8 hours of video playback.
== USER UPGRADES ==
Getting into the laptop is pretty easy, since none of the screws are hidden under any stickers or rubber feet pads (unlike some other manufacturers). Once inside, you can upgrade/replace:
- The RAM (32GB max supported)
- The storage (two 2TB M.2 2280 Gen3 max)
- The battery
- The Wi-Fi card
Since the G15 5515 ships with only stick of memory, I would HIGHLY recommend adding a 2nd stick to help boost your gaming performance. The motherboard supports a maximum of 32GB, so if you want your laptop to pull double-duty of gaming and work (and you plan on running VMs), I would try to find two 16GB modules on sale.
Dell doesn't include the hardware needed to add a 2nd M.2 storage module, so you will need to either reach out to Dell customer support to order it or check online at various retailers for a 3rd party option.
The Killer 1650X card is decent (Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6), but is removable if something happens later on down the road.
The battery is only 56Wh, which is on the smaller size, especially when compared to the 86Wh that comes with the G15 with the RTX 3060. The 56Wh and 86Wh battery dimensions appear to be nearly identical (the 86Wh is only 0.3mm thicker), so in theory you COULD upgrade the battery, but I would reach out to Dell to verify before buying a new battery.
== BOTTOM LINE ==
This is designed/configured for someone looking for an entry-level gaming laptop on a budget. All budget/entry-level gaming laptops from ALL manufacturers will need to "cut corners" for the sake of hitting a lower price.
The display isn't great, it doesn't support Windows Hello, this G15 has a smaller battery, it has USB 2.0 ports, but the worst thing about this laptop is that it ships with only ONE stick of RAM.
Thankfully, you can upgrade the RAM and just use an external monitor to resolve two of my biggest complaints about the G15 5515.
Gaming performance is good, especially if you play any games that support Nvidia's DLSS. You can play any new AAA title, just keep in mind that you're going to need to lower the settings for maintaining 60+ FPS.
If you do plan on buying this, please do yourself a favor and buy an additional 8GB 3200Mhz stick of memory to populate both RAM slots. This isn't a "bad" laptop, but you'll to put in the time and money for upgrades to make it "really good".

Excellent pressure cooker and fryer
on October 26, 2021
Posted by: Daniel
from Saint Paul, MN
PROS:
- Easy to use
- Dishwasher safe
- Takes the role of multiple appliances
- Easy to read display
- Included recipe/cook book
CONS:
- A little bulky
== SETUP ==
Ninja included a crisping plate and cooking rack, which helps this cooker take over the role of multiple cooking appliances. They also included a nice little recipe/cook book to help you get the most out of your new pressure cooker.
One of my favorite things about this product is that the cooking pot, crisping plate, and rack are ALL dishwasher safe! So, when you get your new pressure cooker home, just toss the components in the dishwasher before your first use.
Compared to older pressure cookers, this Ninja unit has a smaller counter footprint, but it's still quite large so make sure you have enough space and that it's not going to be sitting directly under a cabinet (probably not a good idea to blast the bottom of your cabinet with steam).
== AS A PRESSURE COOKER ==
This is SUPER easy to use, even if you've never used a pressure cooker in the past. The silver lock will move into one of three positions: pressure cook, air fry, and "SteamCrisp". When you use the pressure setting, make sure to close the steam valve at the top of the cooker.
The first dish I made with this cooker was a beef stroganoff recipe that I love. It came out GREAT! While Ninja advises to let the cooker slowly release the steam/pressure, you can still just manually open the valve for any recipe that calls for the quick release.
== FOR FRYING FOOD ==
My test for how well an appliance that claims to fill multiple roles, especially as an air/steam fryer, is to make simple buffalo wings. Ninja's included recipe/cook book has a wing recipe that utilizes the "SteamCrisp" feature (just uses 1/2 cup of water with the steam plate).
I wasn't sure how crispy the wings would turn out with steam cooking, but all I can say is: wow. The last time I had wings come out this crispy was when I owned a dedicated air fryer. Ninja really did a great job.
== CLEANING ==
The cooking pot, crisping plate, and rack are all dishwasher safe, making cleanup super easy. The cooking pot is super easy to clean by hand if you need to. I can't find anything anything from Ninja stating that the cooking pot is nonstick, but it really seems to be based on how easy it is to clean.
== BOTTOM LINE ==
When Ninja claims that this appliance can replace multiple dedicated appliances, they mean it. Cleanup is as easy as it gets, which is a HUGE plus. This does an excellent job as a pressure cooker and does very well at filling in the role of a steam/air fryer.

Great, if your arms aren't too big
on October 3, 2021
Posted by: Daniel
from Saint Paul, MN
PROS:
- Multiple user profiles
- Bluetooth pairing with mobile app
- Large, easy to read display
- Included travel pouch
CONS:
- Only one cuff included (one size does NOT fit all)
== SETUP ==
Setting up the blood pressure monitor was pretty easy, the included instructions are very easy to read and follow. While the mobile app isn't required for use, I would HIGHLY recommend that you download and use it.
The app helps you manage user profiles and keep track of your readings. This is super helpful for your own personal use, but will really be beneficial if you and your doctor are trying to find any patterns/irregularities in both your heartrate and blood pressure.
== USING THE MONITOR ==
Even if you lose the instructions, the included cuff has directional arrows printed on it to ensure that you are properly wearing the cuff for accurate readings.
If you and someone in your home will be using the monitor, you can switch profiles with a single button before you begin measuring your heartrate and blood pressure.
My only complaint about this monitor is that it only includes one cuff size. My arms are too big, so trying to use the monitor will be very uncomfortable and provide inaccurate results. The monitor works great with my wife, who really loves that she can now have a daily blood pressure log on her phone. Beurer has several XL cuffs on their website, but not for the BM76 yet.
== BOTTOM LINE ==
If you don't have large arms (you use a standard cuff size at the doctor's office), this is a great tool to have to keep track of your daily blood pressure when paired with the app on your phone.

Works great and easy to clean!
on September 28, 2021
Posted by: Daniel
from Saint Paul, MN
PROS:
* 7 quart size for parties/guests
* Easy to clean
* Included food/sauce warmer
* Lighter than my old crockpot
CONS:
* No digital timer
* Food/sauce warmer is hand wash only
== Usage ==
The larger size is really great for bigger families or if you’re inviting guests over. Despite its size, it’s not as heavy as I was expecting, which is nice for getting the crockpot in/out of storage.
This particular crockpot does NOT included a digital timer, but rather has two time buttons for HIGH temp and two time buttons for LOW temp cooking. I’m fine with this since I can just use my phone’s virtual assistant to set a specific timer, but I certainly would have preferred a digital timer.
Just put in your ingredients, set the higher time than needed (and set a timer using your phone or a traditional kitchen timer), and then just go about your day.
== Cleaning ==
I am so happy that both the removable cooking stoneware AND the lid are dishwasher safe! The less items I need to wash by hand ONLY, the better. Unfortunately, the included food/sauce warmer needs to be hand washed, but I’m not that upset due to its small size and that I won’t be using it every time I use the crockpot.
== Bottom Line ==
In my opinion, if you have a kitchen, you should try to have a crockpot. There are so many recipients that are just flat-out BETTER if they’re slow-cooked. This is a simple to use (and super simple to clean) crockpot, and I recommend checking it out.

Great for apartments or small homes
on August 25, 2021
Posted by: Daniel
from Saint Paul, MN
PROS:
- Easy to setup
- Doesn’t take up much space
- Two cleaning tools in one!
- Really easy to use
- No chemicals needed, just water
- Reusable mop pad
CONS:
- No swivel join
- Water reservoir is really small
I really liked the idea of a combo device that I can use to both mop and vacuum, especially at the same time. No more sweeping up and using a dustpan before mopping? Yes, please!
When it comes to actually using the mop+vacuum combo, it works VERY well, if you keep you expectations in check. I would describe this as a steam mop that can vacuum up small amounts of dirt/crumbs. 90% of the time, I don’t need to sweep up before moping using this combo, thanks to being able to vacuum while moping.
What I love the most about this is that the mop pad is washable and I don’t need to bother buying chemicals for cleaning the floor. Just fill up the water chamber (Black and Decker recommends using distilled water), and use steam to clean.
My only real complaints are that it doesn’t use a swivel joint, so you have to maneuver it like the old vacuums before the 90s. I also wish the water chamber was a little bigger, but it’s not small enough to be a deal-breaker.

More Professional Than Your Gaming Headset
on July 18, 2021
Posted by: Daniel
from Saint Paul, MN
PROS:
- Excellent mic
- Lightweight
- In-line controls
- Flip mic up to mute
- Included USB-A to USB-C adaptor
- Included headphone pouch
CONS:
- Audio quality for music isn't great
- Headset doesn't fold in for storage
-- SETUP --
You can just plug the Zone 750 headset into your laptop/desktop and use it right away, but Logitech recommends installing their "LogiTune" software. The Zone 750 does use a USB-C connection, but if your laptop/desktop doesn't have a USB-C port Logitech does include a USB-C to USB-A adaptor (there's even a little pocket for the adaptor inside the included headphone pouch).
-- LogiTune --
With Logitech's LogiTune software, you can customize the Zone 750 to your liking. You can increase or disable sidetone (if you want to be able to hear your own voice), adjust the mic sensitivity, and access the EQ. You can use the headset without ever downloading LogiTune, but I would suggest at least giving it a try.
-- Mic Quality --
I really like the mic on the Zone 750. You can adjust the mic sensitivity in LogiTune as well. Logitech did a fantastic job ensuring that the mic doesn't pick up background noises (such as fans or AC vents above you) and doesn't really pick up breathing (unless you have a cold). To mute your mic you have two options: you can flip the mic up OR you can just press the "mute" button on the in-line controls.
-- Audio/Music Quality --
When working from home, it's nice to just use one headset throughout the day. While not in a meeting or on a call, I like to listen to music while working. While I have used headphones with worse audio quality, the Zone 750 are FAR from my favorite. I did notice that music with vocals were "okay", but I would still prefer to more music-focused headphones for enjoying music.
-- BOTTOM LINE --
If you value looking more professional for video calls and need an excellent mic to isolate your voice from background noise over listening to music, the Zone 750 is worth checking out.

Adorable and Powerful
on May 30, 2021
Posted by: Daniel
from Saint Paul, MN
PROS
- Great sound for such a small speaker
- Durable build quality
- USB-C charging
- My kids love the RGB lighting
- Water resistant
CONS
- The rubber bottom collects dirt/pebbles like it’s its job
== SETUP ==
Pairing the Soundcore Mini with your phone is super easy. You just need to hold the power button for a few seconds to power it on AND put it into pairing mode.
Anker also has an app you can install on your phone, which assists in pairing, but it’s best used to give you more control over the Mini and keep it updated.
== SOUND QUALITY ==
The Mini is smaller than a can of soda, so keep your expectations in check. However, for such a small speaker, the audio quality and volume is quite impressive. I think rock/pop sounds the best on this speaker, but you may disagree. This is a fun little speaker to bring along on a picnic, to keep around while BBQing, or while hanging out on the patio.
== DURABILITY ==
I haven’t put the Soundcore Mini through any “torture” tests, but it has been dropped from waist height a few times already, with NO damage seen/heard yet.
It does have a water resistant rating, so it should be fine if caught in the rain or sprinkler, but I would still avoid dropping it near the pool if you can.
== BOTTOM LINE ==
It’s small size, durable build, good audio quality, and RGB lighting makes this my kids favorite speaker to run around with while they’re playing outside. I like to use it while relaxing on the patio or when using the grill.
It may be small, but I think you will be pleasantly surprised with how good it sounds for its size.

- Amazing in-game audio when paired with Dolby Atmos
- Can be paired to your PC and phone at the same time
- Answer calls and still hear game audio at the same time!
- Detachable mic with LED to show the mic is on
- USB-C for charging/wired mode
- Headset pouch included
- Can be used with USB cable or headphone cable
CONS:
- Braided USB cable rubs against shirt and is audible in headset
- Music sounds good on PC when you use the equalizer, but not on mobile
== BUILD QUALITY ==
This is hands-down the most premium feeling headset I've used. It is solid and has some serious weight to it, which is weird since it feels very light on your head when you're using it. I can wear this all day without any problem. I appreciate that Corsair includes a headset pouch, but if I was traveling I would prefer to place this in a more study case. While at my desk, I just leave it on a headset stand when not in use or when it's charging.
== SETUP ==
I was having some issues with audio quality when I updated my iCUE software to support the new Virtuoso. Audio (both music and in-game effects) sounded REALLY bad for such a high-quality headset. After uninstalling and then re-installing the updated iCUE, the issue was resolved. Audio quality was great and what I expected. It might have just been my experience, but I would suggest re-installing iCUE just as a precaution.
== PAIRING ==
You can pair the Virtuoso with your PC and your phone at the same time. I use the "slipstream" USB dongle to pair the headset to my PC, and use Bluetooth to connect to my phone. What's really amazing is that I can answer phone calls while gaming, and I can STILL HEAR the game audio in the background of my call!
== GAME AUDIO ==
This is really a gaming headset first, so I want to go over my gaming experience first. While the Virtuoso doesn't have active noise-cancelling, the noise isolation from the earcup material works great!
Corsair recommends using Dolby Atmos, and I HIGHLY suggest you listen and install it. In-game audio is really good without it, but for the most immersion you really want Dolby Atmos as well. I'm able to more accurately able to determine how far away an opponent is and what direction they're moving when playing CoD or OW. The new Resident Evil is just SOOO much better with this level of immersion!
== MUSIC QUALITY ==
This is really my only complaint about the Virtuoso, the audio quality feels VERY lacking. When I'm using the equalizer within iCUE, my music sounds great when I'm using my desktop PC. I can customize it based on what I want to listen to. It's a minor annoyance that I need to disable Dolby Atmos to use the equalizer, but if I want to just listen to some music while getting some work done, it's worth it.
The problem is that the equalizer doesn't let you save the settings to the headset, so when I pair it with my phone to listen to music, the quality is quite poor in comparison to when listening to music on my PC.
== MIC QUALITY ==
Corsair advertises the microphone as "broadcast-grade", and I really can't argue with them on that claim. My friends said my mic sounded good in-game, but what was really impressive was how well the mic performed in virtual meetings. I actually have a "professional" headset that I used for work, but it's not nearly as comfortable to wear as the Virtuoso. Thankfully, Corsair did such an amazing job with the mic, I now use the Virtuoso for both gaming AND work.
== BATTERY LIFE ==
The Virtuoso is advertised as having up to 15 hours of battery life. I'm getting very close to this number, but it's really going to vary depending on what you're doing. On days I pair to both my PC and phone, battery life will take a small hit. HOWEVER, you can charge the headset and use it at the same time. I'm able to use a USB-C charging block from my phone to charge the headset, while it's still paired with my PC and phone. When the battery starts to get low, you will hear a "battery low" message in the headset. Just connect the USB-C cable, and you can keep playing/working.
== BOTTOM LINE ==
While I won't be using the Virtuoso to just listen to music from my phone, it's hands-down the best gaming headset to keep at my desk. In-game spatial audio is amazing, I can pair it with my PC and phone at the same time so I can answer calls while still playing, and I can use the iCUE equalizer to customize the audio quality when listening to various genres of music at my desk. While the headset feels heaving when holding in your hands, it's SUPER comfortable to wear all day.

Stop wasting money going out for iced coffee
on April 2, 2021

from Saint Paul, MN
PROS:
- VERY small footprint
- Easy to use
- Easy to clean
- Re-usable filter
- Included tumbler
CONS:
- I'm probably drinking too much coffee now
== Setup ==
While this for making iced coffee, the process is pretty much the same as making normal hot coffee with virtually any other coffee maker.
You have to remove the top "section" to add your water, then add your coffee grounds (there's an included scoop to make sure you have the perfect amount of grounds), and then brew your coffee.
The only difference here is that you need to fill up the included tumbler with ice before you start brewing coffee. At first it seems like you're putting in too much ice, but you honestly need ALL of that ice. The coffee is very concentrated, so a tumbler full of ice is for two reasons: ( 1 ) Chill the coffee and ( 2 ) Dilute the coffee.
== Daily Use ==
I really love how simple and easy it is to use this. Not only is it easy to operate, but it works really great. Cleanup makes it quick and simple, so making two (or three or four) more servings throughout the day doesn't feel like a hassle.
Since I use this at least once a day, I'll clean it out once a week. To do this, I just treat it like any other coffee maker in the past: run some vinegar+water through to clean, then run water a couple times after and you're good to go!
== Bottom Line ==
Stop wasting money going out to get iced coffee. I really can't find anything to complain about it. It takes up very little countertop space, it's easy to use+clean, but most importantly: it works!

How does this connect to the internet? Can I stream videos on it when I'm somewhere without a WiFi connection?

During the initial setup with your smartphone, you choose what network to connect the Quest to. After setup, you can access multiple TV apps, including Netflix and Sling TV. If an app isn't available, you can also use the Oculus web browser.

Hi, I have your Oculus Quest. I am very happy with the product but I cant cast beat saber to my tv. Very disappointing!! I am thinking maybe I should return this item for a pspro/vr. Any thoughts? Also,does the Oculus Quest cast sound to your tv? Thanks

How are you casting to your TV, and is it only Beat Saber that can't cast?

I've read that you should be able to cast to any TV with a Google Chromecast, but since I don't have one (yet), I haven't been able to test this out myself.

Do you have to hook these speakers up to your laptop with a cord or are they completely controlled by the laptop?

It's a bluetooth speaker, there's no need for it to be physically connected to anything to play music or make calls. The only time you would plug this into your computer would be to charge it.

Their built-in LDAC enhanced codec support and Bluetooth connectivity let you stream high-quality audio content for an enhanced listening experience while you’re on the move. The included cable adjuster and clip help ensure these Sony wireless sports headphones stay in place.

Do these come with a charger?

They come with a USB to micro USB cable (just like the cable for most Android phones), but no charging "brick" to plug into an outlet. You'll need to connect them to a computer or have a USB outlet to charge them.

If I have T-Mobile, will this phone work with it, or is it just for Verizon?

The phone is not SIM locked, you can use it on T-Mobile.

Verizon Wireless does not lock their 4G phones:

http://www.verizon.com/about/consumer-safety/device-unlocking-policy

The Pixel from Verizon Wireless does ship with the bootloader locked though. This just means you can't flash a custom ROM on the phone.
