Powerful and Portable Sound

I give the JBL FREE True Wireless In-Ear Headphones high marks for design, sound quality, and comfort. They sound great, are very comfortable to wear, and the wireless design makes them perfect for taking on the go.
--DESIGN AND USE--
Included are silicone ear tips in small, medium and large. The gel sleeves come in medium and large. An important first step is to choose the ear tips that best fit your ear size best because to get the best sound and most secure seating, the ear tips must completely seal over your ear canal. The included gel sleeve is not necessary to use, but provides a more secure fit when you are on the go. It will also provide some protection if they are dropped.
The hard case and right and left headphones function as an integrated system. The case not only protects and stores them, but it also is an external battery that charges them. To charge them you simply insert them into the case and then connect the case to a charger with the included micro USB cable. This is a very effective design because it minimizes the risk of loss of the headphones by compelling you to habitually store the them in the case. They feel magnetically seated in the case.
I really like that these headphones automatically turn on when removed from the case. So when I remove the right one from the case, it turns on automatically and pairs to my iPhone. Then I remove the left one and it automatically turn on and pairs to the right one. I like this much better than having to power each one individually like some other wireless headphones that I have used.
The left headphone can’t be used without the right one. The right one can be used by itself, if you only want to use one, but the left one can’t be used independently. The left headphone can only be paired to the right one.
It took about two hours to fully charge the case. The headphones last about 4 hours after being fully charged. The case can charge the headphones for an additional 20 hours. So if they are both fully charged, the headphones and case can last a very impressive 24 hours!
A 15 minute charge can provide one hour of listening.

The multi-function button takes some getting used too, but feels solid and reliably controls the headphones.
The headphones are very lightweight and because of the silicone ear tips very comfortable to wear. It is very easy to forget that you are wearing them.

SOUND QUALITY:
JBL is known for premium sound quality and these headphones deliver! Music and movies sound detailed and full range. They put out an impressive amount of volume and bass for their size. If you are upgrading from the earbuds that came with your phone, then you are going to be amazed at how good they sound and how much sonic detail you were missing.
The call quality is typical for compact headphones. When on a call they default to mono sound, but there is still some echo. The microphone picks up my voice adequately enough to be intelligible to the other caller, but once again sounds typical of a compact headphone. As with all headphones, the outside call quality is dependent on the wind and other environmental factors.
I did have an occasional issue with the left unit disconnecting. When it did happen it usually reconnected on its own. It seems that the left and right unit must be kept very close together or they will lose their connection. Once I figured out to keep them in close proximity of each other, this issue was minimized.
--BOTTOM LINE--
These headphones are expensive but are worth the price because they sound as good as most full size headphones, but in a portable and convenient to use package.. They are not only very comfortable to wear, but also look great while being worn.

Ultimate Wireless Sport Headphones

Jaybird has a reputation for quality, so I expected a lot from their flagship Tarah Pro Wireless Headphones. Not only did their performance meet my expectations, but they exceeded them in every way. They are expensive but are worth the price if you want the ultimate active lifestyle in-ear headphones. They sound great, have an incredibly long 14 hour battery life, and can survive anywhere you need them to go.
SOUND QUALITY:
I listened to many hours of music and found the sound to be full range, detailed, and accurate. They put out a surprising amount of bass for such a compact design. If you are upgrading from the earbuds that came with your phone, then you will really hear what you have been missing.
The Jaybird App has several different EQ presets available to help customize the sound. There is also a customizable EQ, so that you can adjust the sound to your individual preference and to accommodate various content. This is critical because content can be mixed at such different levels that adjusting the EQ can help greatly with performance.
Bluetooth 5.0 compatibility allows a higher bit rate signal that will sound better because it is less compressed than the earlier Bluetooth standards.
DESIGN:
I am very impressed with the feature set, design, and build quality. They have some very neat features that make using and wearing them a pleasure.
The earpieces are magnetic and snap together so that when they are not in use they securely hang around my neck.
The Speed Cinch allows me to tighten the cord, so I can keep it tight around my neck and shoulders.

The cord is made of a comfortable fabric that is also reflective.
The in-line remote is close to the earpiece so it is not dangling on the back of my neck. The buttons feel solid and durable.
They are water resistant (IPX7) and can handle exposure to the elements. I am reluctant to take some of my other expensive headphones on the go because I am worried about them getting damaged. I do not have that concern with these headphones.
They can be worn under or over the ear. I find that over the ear provides a more secure fit. Under the ear allows easier access to the inline remote.
They are very lightweight and the ear gels make them so comfortable that it almost feels like I have nothing on.
A huge benefit is the incredibly long 14 hour battery life, as opposed to most other compact in-ear headphones that top out at 5 to 6 hours. It only takes about 2 hours to fully charge them, and a quick 5 minute charge can power them for 2 hours. I am able to confirm that the battery lasts as long as the 14 hours it is rated. After using it for about 2 hours a day, I have only had to charge them once after about one week of use.
They use a proprietary charger that magnetically snaps into the remote to charge. This method is effective and looks very elegant when connected. Per the brochure I received from Jaybird, the benefit to doing it this way is that the inline remote can be made lighter and thinner because some of the circuitry is incorporated into the charger. This also helps with the waterproofing by not having an exposed charging port on the headphones. The drawback to this of course is that if you lose or damage the charger then you will have to get a replacement from Jaybird
A soft pouch is included that fits both the headphones and charger.
VERDICT:
I give the Jaybird Tarah Pro Headphones top marks for design, sound quality, durability, and comfort. The battery lasts incredibly long, they sound good, are comfortable to wear, and are virtually impervious to water. If you need headphones that can survive extreme conditions, then they are everything you would want and more.

The Lenovo Yoga Convertible Chromebook is elegantly designed to function as either a powerful laptop or tablet.
It has the system memory, feature set, and processing power to handle my daily productivity and entertainment needs with ease.
--Setup--
Was as simple as charging it for a short time and turning it on. I was then prompted to sign on to my Wi-Fi network and then Google. I already have a Google account, so my saved settings synced right up, and I was up and running immediately.
Included is a 45-watt power brick that attaches to a USB C charging cord. Because USB C is becoming widespread I don’t have to bring the power brick with me on the go and can instead charge it with the same power adapter that I use for my phone, wireless earbuds, and Bluetooth speaker. Using a phone or tablet power adapter will charge slower but is a useful trade off for the added versatility.
--Design and Features—
There are four different modes: Notebook, Stand, Tent, and Tablet. I found the Stand, Tent, and Tablet orientations to be especially useful for watching videos and using Apps. The display orientation automatically adjusts when the laptop is transformed to a different mode.
Lenovo cleverly placed one USB C port on both the right and left side. Both can take a charge, so the charging side can be adapted to the side has an available power outlet.
The battery charges fully in a few hours and lasts the rated 10 hours.
The flash hard drive greatly improves the system speed. If you have never used one before you will immediately notice the improvement as opposed to a solid state hard drive.
The screen is 1080P HD capable. The color, contrast, and sharpness are superb. Exactly what I would expect at this price point.
The touch screen is responsive and works well.
Above the numbers keys are a row of dedicated shortcut keys. They are: Back, Forward, Reload, Full Screen, Switch, Brightness Up/Down, Mute, Volume Down/Down, Lock, and Search.

--Build Quality and Appearance—
The build quality is impressive. The aluminum chassis makes it thin, light, and easy to handle.
The color (midnight blue) is a very attractive blue/gray hue.
--Verdict—
Equipped with processing power and system memory that far exceed the minimum requirements for the Chrome Operating System, this hybrid laptop/tablet is an excellent choice for the user that wants premium performance, capability, and features.

Hits sweet spot for great sound and affordability

The JLAB Fit Sport 3 wireless earbuds are an outstanding value for the money. Not only do they sound much better than the wired earbuds that come with a tablet or smart phone, but they also sound as good as some other earbuds that cost much more.
--DESIGN—
The build quality and feature set are far above what is to be expected at this price point.
It is obvious that a lot of effort was put into designing them to be very lightweight and comfortable to wear.
The numerous included gel ear tips feel great and make all the difference in terms of fit and comfort.
The flexible wire allowed me to shape the ear hooks, so they perfectly wrap around my ears. Once they were shaped I never felt as if they would fall off and they will keep their shape until they are changed.
Another nice feature is that they are IP55 water resistant, which is important if you want to use it outside or anywhere that they can get wet.
Using a micro USB cable, they take about 1 hour to charge and last about 6 hours.
--SOUND QUALITY—
The sound quality of these earbuds is exceptional and comparable to other more expensive headsets. They really sound that good!
Included is an adjustable EQ which is unheard of at this price point. Being able to adjust the EQ based on what you are listening too makes a big difference regarding audio quality. The three EQ options are Signature, Balanced, and Bass Boost.
After several hours of listening, I found the sound to be pleasingly full range and accurate. In fact, this headset rivals other more expensive headsets that I have used.
--VERDICT—
These JLAB earbuds are easy to use, sound great, and are comfortable to wear.
I recommend them if you are in the market for earbuds that hit the midrange sweet spot between great sound and affordability.

I am very impressed with the brewing capability of this Ninja Coffee Brewer, and how perfectly it makes great tasting coffee.
DESIGN AND CONTROLS:
This is my third Ninja kitchen appliance. I absolutely loved the previous two (a blender, and an air fryer), so I was expecting another winner. I am happy to say that I was not disappointed.
This coffee brewer could not be easier to use. All the settings are logically labeled and self-explanatory. All it takes is putting coffee in the reusable filter and pushing a few buttons.

It can make up to 12 cups of coffee, which is the equivalent of about 6 large mugs.
The Delay Brew function can be programmed to have hot coffee waiting for you when you wake up.
The components are easy to take out and clean after use. Just rinse, and dry and they are ready for the next day.
APPEARANCE:
This coffee maker has a premium appearance and will look great in any style kitchen.
VERDICT:
The Ninja Coffee Maker is the best coffee maker I have ever owned. It looks good, has a nice feature set, and most importantly makes a delicious cup of coffee.

Perfect for when portability is the priority

I give the insignia True Wireless Earbuds high marks for convenience, design, and sound quality. The system utilizes a very clever hard case to charge and protect the earbuds.
--DESIGN AND USE--
This integrated system consists of the right earbud (main), the left earbud (secondary), and hard case.
The earbuds charge by inserting them in the case and then charging the case with a micro USB cable. The case then charges the earbuds.
I really like this design because it requires the use of the hard case which is essential to protecting the earbuds from getting damaged or lost.
The left earbud cannot be operated independently and must be within about seven inches of the right one.
After being fully charged the earbuds can be used for about 5 hours. The case doubles as a rechargeable battery and can charge the earbuds about 3 times, for a total of about 15 hours of usage.
Be aware that the left earbud cannot be used without the right one. So, if you intend to use only one earbud, it must always be the right one.

They are very lightweight and comfortable to wear.
The build quality of the case and earbuds are excellent. The ear clips secured them to my ears, so they never felt as if they were going to fall off.

The sound quality for music and movies is excellent. The sound is full range and puts out a surprising amount of bass for such small earbuds. They certainly sound much better than the earbuds that come with a cell phone or tablet.
The call audio quality is excellent for Bluetooth. The electronics do an admirable job of balancing the sound, so I only heard the slightest hints of echo when on a call with both earbuds on.

Limitless control and a pleasant soft white light

These smart LED light bulbs came with no instructions but once I got them set up they worked quite well and produced a very pleasant soft white light that can be dimmed to suit your preference.
They do not require a bridge to use. They can be configured and controlled by the C by GE App.
--Setup—
I did not configure them with a bridge. I used the C by GE App. Once I had the GE App installed on my iPhone, it was simple to link the bulbs and configure them.
The GE App works via Bluetooth, so if you go this route you are limited to short range control.
--FEATURES--
The App provides a very complete and extensive level of configuration to create scenes, control the dimming levels, and set a schedule.
Each bulb can be customized individually or as a group.
--VERDICT--
Not only am I very impressed with the comprehensive level of customization, which appears to be nearly limitless, but the illumination is very pleasing and perfect for home use. I plan to get more!
--TIPS—
The APP settings can be overridden by switching the light switch off and on rapidly.

Ultimate Wireless Range and Performance

The Linksys Velop Mesh System creates a powerful, reliable, and consistent Wi-Fi signal throughout my 2,400 square foot two story home.
---SETUP AND PLACEMENT---
I immediately noticed the premium build quality. It very well packaged and has an attractive white finish that easily blends with my decor.
The setup process is very easy and consists of connecting the main node to ethernet and power cables, plugging the satellite nodes into a wall outlet, and setting up the system with the Linksys App. I am very impressed with how intuitive and smooth the Linkys App is. It makes setting up and managing the network simple, while also allowing for a comprehensive level of network management and customization.
The combined mesh system is rated to cover 5,000 square feet. The main node is Tri-Band (5 GHz, 5 GHz, 2.4 GHz) and covers 2,000 square feet. The plug in nodes are Dual-Band (5 GHz, 2.4 GHz) and cover 1,500 square feet.
Proper placement of the nodes is important for adequate coverage. I have a two-story house, so I placed one node downstairs and another one upstairs. I placed the third node near my front door to provide a close connection for my outside doorbell camera. If I need coverage in my backyard or patio I will move a node near the back door. Also the Linksys App will confirm that the placement is functional.
--USE AND PERFORMANCE--
Review the Info gallery for a detailed technical explanation of how this system works. But rest assured it works as well as promised! The wireless network in my home is now incredibly powerful, consistent, and long range. Each of these nodes is as powerful as a traditional router and they work together to create one seamless and powerful wireless network.
This system simultaneously and invisibly creates a single band comprised of both the 2.4 GHz and a 5 GHz bands. Creating a unified network from all of the bands greatly simplifies connection and use because I no longer have to select between the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band. Once I connect to my single network, the mesh system intelligently and seamlessly detects the capability of the device and configures itself.
I have about 15 devices connected, and the performance is flawless.
--VERDICT—
The performance of the Linksys Velop Mesh System is nothing short of OUTSTANDING! Once you have it up and running, you will not be disappointed.
Even though it is expensive compared to a router, it is well worth the price if you want a wireless network that has the ultimate range and performance.
--TIPS—
Move the nodes around and experiment with the placement to determine the optimal layout. The only limitations are that the Tri-Band node must be located near your modem and a power outlet, and the Dual-Band nodes must be plugged into a power outlet.
If you need temporary coverage outside your home, place a plug in node near that location to extend the coverage even further. The other nodes are powerful enough to compensate.

All in One Printer/Scanner/Copier that is perfect for home use.
Seamlessly makes printing, scanning, and copying as easy as connecting to a network and pushing a button.
SETUP:
Setup is easy and consisted of plugging it in, connecting it to my Wi-Fi network, and downloading the software.
There is also an option to use it in wired mode with a USB cable.
GENERAL USE:
Once connected to my Wi-Fi network, printing wirelessly is as easy as pushing a button from my laptop or wireless device. It is really that easy and convenient!
I am even able to print from my iPhone and iPad! This is important because I spend as much or more time on my phone and tablet as I do on my laptop.
Since this printer is wireless, you are not limited to placement in any specific area. It can be placed anywhere that is convenient or where you have space.
PRINTING:
The print quality is excellent and is much better than the average inkjet. It even looks good with the toner save mode on.
It wakes up and prints quickly and quietly.
COPYING:
I only need to make copies from time to time, but it is very nice to have the ability to make copies at home.
SCANNING:
I am going to use the scan function frequently. This way I can get rid of documents that I only need an electronic copy of.
Scanning quality is excellent and scans are in color.
TONER:
Since I don't need to print in color, there are many benefits to having a laser printer.
The toner powder doesn't dry out, and page for page is cheaper than inkjet cartridges. This is especially important to me because I don't print a lot, and in the past I have wound up getting rid of inkjet cartridges that have dried out.
VERDICT:
This is the all in one device that I have been waiting for. I have had printers before but have been disappointed because they have not met my needs. I have now found the perfect all in one printer.
USEFUL TIP:
Turn on the toner save mode to make the toner last even longer. In this mode the print quality is suitable for most applications. I will only turn this mode off for the times I need the page to look really good.

Full size power in a low profile design

This vacuum has the power and suction of a full-size vacuum in a go anywhere, reach anywhere, low profile design.
Setup:
The components fit together perfectly and can be easily configured in a few different ways. Once I did it a few times, it is easy to use and configure.
Design and Use:
The two basic configurations are: standard floor and hand held.
In the standard floor mode, the steering and maneuverability are the best I have ever used. I can get to places with this vacuum that I could never reach with my old vacuum.
It comes with a nice assortment of attachment tools that can be used to reach the tightest of spaces.
Even though this vacuum is slim and light, it is very powerful. The powerful suction deeply cleans, and I was impressed with how much dust and particles it captured.

I was especially impressed that the brush roll does not get tangled. I don’t know how it works, but can confirm that it does truly works! No more cutting annoying hairs and fibers out of roller head.
The dust cup is very easy to snap on and off, and I like that it empties straight down with the push of a button. Just hold it over the trash can, and the particles fall straight in.
The hand and floor sections have bright LED lights.
The hand vacuum is especially useful for keeping an automobile clean when used with the crevice tools

Verdict:
There is a lot to like about this vacuum. It is lightweight, cleverly designed to have several different configurations, has a ridiculous amount of suction, and goes places other vacuums could never fit.
Tips and Tricks:
There are two configurations for storage. The configuration I am using is to place the hand unit directly on top of the floor section. This allows me to store it upright on the floor.
The other configuration is to hang it on the wall using the included wall mount.

Replaced an old SXRD Sony 60" from 8 years ago. Tried the 65" 930 model and that picture was good however not like the 940D. Full array backlighting makes a big difference. First one upon delivery had a line all along the right side of the screen and a horizontal line about 6 inches up from the bottom of the screen. Magnolia came out a few days later with a replacement and this one is much better. Remote control is not user friendly, poor design, Arc audio does not work with my 2 year old Yamaha receiver so must use separate fibre optic cable to allow audio to services. Sony 3D nothing like the Samsung. 4 free movies promotion was difficult to set up and must supply credit card info to get promo and only 8 titles to choose from. I wish they would have included the 3D glasses instead of free movies with a $6500 TV. Overall happy with the purchase and would recommend as a great home theater TV with lots of smart features.

Cable Box breaks ARC

Are you using a cable box? Cable and satellite boxes are notorious for breaking ARC. When I disconnected the cable box HDMI cable from the chain, ARC started working. I am going to get a HDMI "CEC less adapter" and connect it to the cable box which should fix the problem.

It is about as loud as any powerful vacuum. To my ear no more or no less. I do not know the exact decibel level. But my pets run and hide from it.

What is the charging setup - does it need to be charged on a wall-mounted dock or can you just plug it in anywhere with an AC adapter while it's folded over? Can the battery be removed easily and swapped, assuming they start selling batteries separately?
The battery can be charged while attached to the vacuum, either when it is folded over or upright. The battery can be removed and charged while removed. The battery is very easy to remove and attach.

No it can not. This camera does not have electrical connections for a junction box.

I want to use wireless assuming it has an internal battery you can remove, bring inside and charge then insert it back in unit? How does it work wirelessly?
The camera housing snaps out of the wall mount by pressing a button. You bring the entire unit in for charging. It is a very simple method.
