---SOUND QUALITY---
I am going to cover sound quality first because to put it simply this speaker rocks!!!
Normally there are limits to the amount of bass and mid-bass that can be produced by a speaker of this size, but Bose engineering has overcome that limitation, which is something that that I did not think possible. This speaker belts out tight and detailed bass that is comparable to a much larger speaker. The bass response really makes a difference by making the music sound very dynamic.
Not only is the sound very detailed and full range, but the sound stage is also very wide and non-directional. There is only one speaker, but it fills the entire room with sound that seems to be coming from everywhere at once.
---SETUP---
The first step is to download the Bose Music App and create an account, if you don’t already have one. Then plug the speaker in and wait for it to come on line. The App will then prompt you to connect and go through a pairing process that includes setting up Wi-Fi, Goggle Assistant or Amazon Alexa, and selecting the music providers you are going to use.
It is possible to use this speaker solely with Bluetooth without using the App or connecting Wi-Fi, but that will strip the speaker of the smart functions.
---DESIGN AND USE---
I was immediately impressed by the packaging. Bose put quite a bit off effort into the presentation and it shows.
Likewise, the visual appeal of the speaker itself does not disappoint. It feels very solid and well-made and looks fabulous in my bedroom.
The small footprint makes it easy to move around the house but be aware that it must be plugged in wherever it is placed.
The speaker itself can be controlled by the Bose Music App or the touch buttons on the top of the speaker. The touch buttons are responsive and work well once you get used to them because some of them are multi-function. The Bose App is very intuitive and allows a comprehensive level of control and customization.
This speaker offers a few different ways to connect wirelessly: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Apple Airplay 2. It is not necessary to use the App to use Bluetooth, but to use Wi-Fi or AirPlay the App must be connected to the speaker. Using the music providers in the App will allow the sound to be streamed over Wi-Fi which will provide greater range than Bluetooth, and potentially sound better because of the stronger signal. Apple AirPlay natively uses Wi-Fi and works through the Apple Music App if the speaker is connected to Wi-Fi.
Within the App is a wide array of music and entertainment providers that can be used. Most of the prominent services are available but also numerous radio, talk, and news channels.
This speaker is compatible with Google Assistant or Apple Alexa (but not both).
There is an Aux input that accepts a 3.5 mm audio cable for wired compatibility.
---BOTTOM LINE---
This speaker sounds superb and if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Yes, it is expensive but if you want the best sound in its size class then it is certainly worth the price. Once you hear it for the first time you will really notice the difference and find it hard to listen to anything else. It sounds that good!

The crevice tools stores securely under the vacuum and I really appreciate that it does not easily slip off like other tools tend too.
The battery and charging stand have lights to indicate the battery charge level and the charging status.
The battery lasts for about 15 minutes and takes about 3 hours to fully charge. Since the battery is Lithium-Ion it will not discharge rapidly while being stored.
The filter is rinseable and reusable.
---USE AND PERFORMANCE---
This handheld vacuum is extremely powerful for its size. I was impressed by the strong suction and how much dust and dirt it captures.
The dust cup is easily removed with the push of a button. Turn it upside down over a trash can and the dirt easily falls in.
It is perfect for small jobs around the house, and for cleaning up places like the car where a plug is not readily available.

I have used a few cordless handheld vacuums over the years and can say without reservation that this is the most powerful one that I have ever used! It has powerful suction, is very portable and lightweight, and can easily reach places that other vacuums can’t.

I found using this device to be very easy to figure out. The first step is to plug it in using the included 9-foot micro USB cable. Then connect the desired audio cable (optical or 3.5 mm).
There are two main modes: Transmission (TX) and Receiver (RX). Once you decide what mode you want to use, you set the selector switch to the desired mode.

There is a third bypass mode that allows this device to function as an audio converter without using the Bluetooth function.

---USE AND PERFORMANCE---
Once I put this device and my wireless headphones in pairing mode they connected instantaneously. Once paired, they both connected immediately every subsequent time that I used them. Once connected the pairing was rock solid and reliable. Two pair a second set of headphones was as simple as pairing the first.
The sound quality was not only excellent, but also completely lag free. I could not tell the difference between listening wirelessly as opposed to listening wired on my Sony Headphones. The advanced apt x codecs will really make a difference if your headphones are apt x compatible.
I immediately noticed the impressive signal strength and range of this Bluetooth transmitter. It is advertised as up 100 feet, and very impressively I had no problem receiving a signal anywhere in my two-story house.
I am not going to use the Receiver mode at this time, but appreciate that it has the capability.
---BOTTOM LINE---
Get this device if you want the very best Bluetooth performance that is out there. Yes it is expensive, but it has the premium performance, range, and versatility to match the price. The transmitter in this device has at least double (maybe triple) the range of any other Bluetooth device that I have used.
The superb sound quality and capability to use two pairs of wireless headphones at the same time, makes this my new favorite device!

The speaker and sub have an attractive black finish. The sleek and compact design complements my flat panel TV very nicely.
Setup was simple and consisted of plugging in the soundbar and sub, and connecting the soundbar to the TV with an HDMI or optical cable. I tried both the optical and HDMI cable and found the sound to be identical. Using an HDMI cable is preferable if you want to use the ARC function which will help cut down on cables. The sub and soundbar automatically paired every time I turned them on.
I really like that the soundbar automatically selects the proper input (HDMI or optical) based on the signal being received.. It also detected my TV brand and automatically took over the volume function so when I raised or lowered the volume with the TV remote, it controlled the soundbar volume. Just remember to go into your TV settings and disable the TV speakers.
This system is Bluetooth capable and I found connecting my phone to the system to be easy and reliable.
Included accessories: remote, optional feet to change the height, and a wall mount bracket.
---SOUND QUALITY---
For a speaker with such a slim footprint, the sound quality is superb! The movies and music I listened too sounded full, detailed, and pleasing to the ears. I especially noticed a remarkable improvement in dialogue.
The laws of physics dictate that there are limits to the amount of bass that can be produced by speakers of this size, but that is to be expected from a small sub. The sub is wireless but be careful about placing it to far away from the screen and soundbar, because that can cause the sound stage to collapse if the bass becomes localized.
I experimented with various sound effects modes and decided to use the standard setting for TV shows and DTS Virtual X for movies.
---BOTTOM LINE---
If you don’t have the room, budget, or desire for a separate surround sound system, then this system is a perfect option. I am very impressed that such a compact system sounds this good!
Going from using your TV speakers for sound to this system results in what I would describe as a night and day improvement in sound quality. The improvement in dialogue intelligibility was especially noticeable.

Setup is easy and straightforward. If you can handle changing a light fixture, than you can install this floodlight camera. The wiring harness exactly matches the wiring configuration in all standard junction boxes. Included in the box are the accessories (mounting bracket, screws, wire caps, etc.) to accommodate most installations.
Swann has an excellent installation video on their website that shows the installation process step by step, and I highly recommend to review it prior to installation.
After it is installed, the next step is to download the Safe by Swann App and pair the floodlight camera to your phone and Wi-Fi network. This pairing process was simple and took less than 2 minutes.
---USE AND PERFORMANCE---
The floodlight itself is very well made and feel capable of standing up well to outdoor use. Since it is made for outdoor placement is is rated as weatherproof (IP65).
The video and sound quality is very crisp and detailed. People, animals, and objects are easily recognizable. The video quality can be set to low, medium, and high based on your needs and network strength. Be aware that streaming and uploading 1080P video requires a strong and stable internet/data network. I have a very fast broadband internet service and strong Wi-Fi network, and found the sound and video handling and transmission to be very stable.
The Safe by Swann App is very intuitive and makes accessing and controlling the floodlight camera very easy. The App allows a great degree of customization of all of the functions.
The motion detection is very sensitive and accurate. Fortunately, it is adjustable from low to high sensitivity depending on your preference and needs. In my backyard I set it to medium/high and had no issues with false wind or light alerts.
The camera has three modes: Home, Away, and Night. All the modes are customizable based on the camera being armed, motion detection sensitivity, and light and siren response. The modes have to be manually set and there is no way to schedule the modes. I am hoping that a scheduling function is added in a future App update.
The floodlight uses super bright (5000K/2500 Lumens) LED bulbs! I really like that they are dimmable in the App from full brightness down to one percent brightness. I keep them on at night at one percent brightness and find that my backyard is illuminated perfectly in the evening and at night.
The night vision capability works well in low light conditions, but when the floodlight are activated they are usually bright enough to switch to full color recording.
The siren can be set to low, medium, or high.
The microphone is sensitive and picks up conversations well. The intercom likewise functions well.
The unit has built in storage for about 7 days and offers 2 days of free online backup.
Compatible with Siri, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
---BOTTOM LINE---
Overall I found the operation and function of the Swann Floodlight Security Camera to be flawless! The Safe by Swann App is very fast and stable, and makes practically every function easily customizable. It looks very nice installed in my backyard, and I am looking forward to many years of use.

These in the ear headphones are very lightweight and comfortable to wear. The ear gels hold them tightly in my ear canal which in turn helps them stay put and sound good. With this type of design, it is critical to make sure that the ear gels are tightly inserted in the ear canal. If you don’t establish a secure fit the sound quality will suffer.
The hard case and left and right earbuds are an integrated system. The case doubles as an external battery that charges them while protecting and storing them. To charge them simply insert them into the case and close the lid. To charge the case connect it to a charger with the included USB-C cable. It takes about 4 hours to fully charge the case and headphones.
The battery last for about 6 hours. If fully charged, the carrying case can provide another 6 hours of charge for a combined 12 hours of charge. Just be aware that after they are drained, you must put them back in the case to charge before they can be used again. After using them for a couple of days I have found the rated battery life to be accurate.
They automatically turn on when taken out of the case and automatically turn off when put back in the case. I prefer this design to having to press and hold a button to turn on and off. Once paired they will automatically connect when turned on.
The Bluetooth pairing process was very easy. Once paired subsequent connections were fast and proved to be very stable.
They are certified as being sweat and water resistant (IPX4).
The control buttons that take some practice to learn, but once you get the hang of them they work adequately. However, I prefer to use my phone to control them.
The right unit cannot be used without the left one. The left one is the primary and can be used by itself, if you only want to use one, but the right one can’t be used independently. The right unit can only be paired to the left one.
---SOUND QUALITY---
The overall sound quality of these headphones is excellent! The sound is very musical, clear, and full range. They also belt out a surprising amount of hard-hitting bass for such small earbuds!
The call quality is typical for Bluetooth compact headphones. When on a call they default to mono sound, which is preferable so there is not an annoying echo. As with all headphones, call quality can be negatively affected by wind noise and other ambient sounds.
It uses Bluetooth version 4.2 which offers less compression that the original codec and creates a stable Bluetooth connection.
---BOTTOM LINE---
The Skullcandy Push True Wireless In-Ear Headphones sound great and are perfect for active lifestyles. They are easy to take on the go and sound great for the price. If you are still using the earbuds that came with your cell phone or tablet, then you are in for a treat because the improvement in sound quality will be what I describe as night and day.

These full-size headphones are very lightweight and comfortable. They feature swiveling earcups for a custom fit.
They have a USB-C port for charging. It takes 4 hours to fully charge them and a quick 10 minute charge can provide about 90 minutes of use. A short USB-C cable is included.
They also have a standard 3.5 mm audio input which allows them to be used in an optional wired mode. Included is a high quality detachable audio cable.
The battery is rated to last about 30 hours. I have been testing them for about a week at moderate volume levels and the 30 hour rating is accurate. These headphones truly offers exceptional battery life!

The sound quality of these headphones is excellent. They are exceptionally musical and pleasing to the ear. The soundstage is wide and balanced. The sound produced is clear, detailed, and full range. Bass response is off the charts and hard hitting. If you have been using basic headphones, then you will be blown away by how good these headphones sound. This is likely mostly due to the quality drivers that Sony put in them.
The bass response is very impressive. They were not kidding when they marketed these headphones as Extra Bass. Since heavy bass is not everyone’s cup of tea, the Extra Bass feature can be disabled.
The Sony Connect App has several different EQ presets available to help customize the sound. There is also a customizable EQ, so that you can adjust the sound to your individual preference and to accommodate various content. This is critical because content can be mixed at such different levels that adjusting the EQ can help greatly with performance.

I give these Sony Headphones top marks for sound quality, design, and comfort. They sound nearly as good as some of the more expensive headphones on the market. These headphones are comfortable, very well made, and feel capable of standing up well to regular indoor and outdoor use.
They are certified as being rain and dust resistant. The water resistance could prove to be invaluable if you plan to use it outside.
They use a USB-C port for charging. It takes about 2 hours to fully charge them and a 15 minute charge can provide 5 hours of use. A short USB-C cable is provided and it fits nicely in the included hard carrying case.
The battery is rated to last as long as 36 hours. I have been using them extensively for the last week and can confirm that the 36 hour rating is accurate. I used them on a round trip from New York to London, and after 9 hours of use each way I had a very impressive 80 percent of the battery remaining. These headphones offers the very best battery life available.
They also have an optional 3.5 mm audio input. A flight adapter and audio cable is included, and they both fit in the carrying case.
Also included is a hard carrying case that will do an excellent job of protecting them while traveling.
There is not a power button. To turn them on you rotate the ear cups to the open position. To turn them off you rotate the ear cups to the closed position.
There are numerous control buttons that take some practice to learn, but once you get the hang of them they work well.
Compatible with Siri, Google Assistant, and Alexa.
---CALL QUALITY---
Jabra is known for making products that offer premium call quality and these headphones live up to that reputation. I own several pairs of high quality headphones and I can say without hesitation that the call clarity of these headphones is better than anything I have ever used.

The overall sound quality of these headphones is excellent. I found them to be very pleasing to the ear and they produced sound that was very clear, detailed and full range.
After testing them extensively in flight and at home, I can confirm that the Adaptive Noise Cancellation works well. If they had been released 2 years ago I would say they were the state of the art, but considering the stiff competition I would rate them as a very close second to the Sony WH-1000XM3.

If you need the very best call quality you can get, then the Jabra 85h headphones are the ones to get. In the area of call quality, they exceed anything else on the market, even my beloved Sony WH-1000XM3’s.
In the area of noise cancellation, the Sony WH-1000XM3’s have a slight edge. But most people under most conditions, will be very impressed with the adaptive noise cancellation that these headphones offer.
If you are not in a very challenging noise environment you may not even notice any difference between these and the more expensive Sony’s. So if you want to save some money these headphones are certainly worth a look.

---DESIGN---
This speaker has an attractive finish that feels capable of standing up well to outside use. It is very easy to use. All that is needed is simply to charge it, and then pair it to a Bluetooth device.
It uses a micro USB port for charging and a micro USB cable is included.
The battery is rated to last as long as 16 hours. I have been using it for a few days at moderate volume levels and find the 16 hour rating to be accurate.
Since it is so small and light, taking it on the go is easy. It is hard to appreciate how small it is until you actually hold it in your hand. An included detachable strap allows it to be hanged or carried in various different ways.
If you plan to use it outside, an invaluable feature is that it is waterproof (IP67 rating). This means that it can handle being submerged in water. It is also rated as dustproof.
The speaker has a 3.5 mm audio input. If used with an audio cable instead of Bluetooth, the battery will last longer since you are not using the wireless receiver.

---SOUND QUALITY---
For such a small speaker the sound quality is excellent! All of the music I listened too sounded pleasingly full and detailed.
There are limits to the amount of bass that can be produced by a speaker of this size but Sony uses a passive radiator to provide extra bass response. Passive radiators are normally found on expensive speakers and make music sound more dynamic.
It uses Bluetooth version 4.2 which which is more efficient and sounds better than the original Bluetooth codec..
Two XB12 speakers can be paired for stereo sound. I was not able to test this, but using two speakers would create a wider soundstage.

If you are looking for a portable speaker, then this speaker is a perfect choice because of the powerful sound and long-lasting battery. It is easy to move around the home, take to the beach or the pool, or wherever else you want to have nice sounding music. It is simply amazing that a speaker that fits in one hand sounds so good!

Replaced an old SXRD Sony 60" from 8 years ago. Tried the 65" 930 model and that picture was good however not like the 940D. Full array backlighting makes a big difference. First one upon delivery had a line all along the right side of the screen and a horizontal line about 6 inches up from the bottom of the screen. Magnolia came out a few days later with a replacement and this one is much better. Remote control is not user friendly, poor design, Arc audio does not work with my 2 year old Yamaha receiver so must use separate fibre optic cable to allow audio to services. Sony 3D nothing like the Samsung. 4 free movies promotion was difficult to set up and must supply credit card info to get promo and only 8 titles to choose from. I wish they would have included the 3D glasses instead of free movies with a $6500 TV. Overall happy with the purchase and would recommend as a great home theater TV with lots of smart features.

Cable Box breaks ARC

Are you using a cable box? Cable and satellite boxes are notorious for breaking ARC. When I disconnected the cable box HDMI cable from the chain, ARC started working. I am going to get a HDMI "CEC less adapter" and connect it to the cable box which should fix the problem.

It is about as loud as any powerful vacuum. To my ear no more or no less. I do not know the exact decibel level. But my pets run and hide from it.

What is the charging setup - does it need to be charged on a wall-mounted dock or can you just plug it in anywhere with an AC adapter while it's folded over? Can the battery be removed easily and swapped, assuming they start selling batteries separately?
The battery can be charged while attached to the vacuum, either when it is folded over or upright. The battery can be removed and charged while removed. The battery is very easy to remove and attach.

No it can not. This camera does not have electrical connections for a junction box.

I want to use wireless assuming it has an internal battery you can remove, bring inside and charge then insert it back in unit? How does it work wirelessly?
The camera housing snaps out of the wall mount by pressing a button. You bring the entire unit in for charging. It is a very simple method.
