Works great, very quiet except for startup

I ordered this to replace a unit in one of my rental properties. I usually go with a more popular brand but decided to give this one a try. I never knew Frigidare made garbage disposals, but I'm glad I gave them a shot.
It was pretty simple to install and i didnt need to replace the ring, but I did anyway. This thing is very powerful and does a great job of grinding down scraps of food and bones. I wouldnt recommend putting large bones in any garbage disposal, just smaller ones.
The feature i really liked is the magnetic ring that is installed around the top of the disposal. It actually catches metal before it goes into the drain and allows you to grab it before you start the disposal. A nice feature that I never thought I needed or wanted, but Im glad i have it. My pre-teen sons are tasked with dish duty and just like most kids, they just want to get the dishes done so they seldom pay much attention to whats in the drain.
They advertise a Bioshield which helps to keep the bad odors from emitting from the disposal. I cant really speak much to that since I replaced a five year old unit, but it does smell better. I guess time will tell on this feature.
Overall, I've been pretty impressed with it and am happy I got this one over some more expensive brands.

Perfect for school aged kids

I ordered these for my 10 year old who is headed into fifth grade and needed some headphones for school to pair with his laptop. I really like that they are wired and wireless capable and I also appreciate that they can be recharged using a USB-C cable as opposed to a micro usb. We have a ton of USB-C’s around our house so it’s always easy to find one.
They are very lightweight and extremely comfortable to wear. Pairing was quick and simple and took about 15 seconds from start to finish with my iPhone and the headphones were fully charged when I took them out of the box which allowed me to test them without having to charge them first.
The sound quality isn’t top tier, but I wouldn’t expect them to be, nor do I need them to be for my son’s usage. I’m not sure if it’s intentional, but even after cranking the volume all the me way up on my phone, the sound seem to be limited. To some this may not sit well, but I’m glad that the volume can’t be cranked up to a level that may cause hearing damage.
In my opinion, these are perfect for school aged kids. They are super portable, lightweight and Has great battery life. I haven’t run them down yet, so I don’t know how long it will take to re-charge them, but with the included aux cord, they can be plugged into the headphone jack on his computer to use.
Overall, I like these and ditto for my 10 year old.

Fun, customizable controller

I’m not as much into gaming as I used to be since they started adding 37 buttons to a game controller, but this one is pretty fun. My kids are both Xboxer’s and I’m more Atari, but we have fun playing together.
This controller is very customizable from the different pressure pads, to the weights, buttons and colors. RIG is a brand that I am familiar with so I have every confidence that it will take the wear and tear that we put on it. I have several wired and wireless controllers and this one is probably about the best for a wired controller. It feels natural in my hands and the fact that I can add or remove weight, makes it more user friendly and lets me get the feel that I want for the game I’m playing.
There are literally buttons everywhere on this thing. You have your typical controls on the front and top of the controller, but there are also four buttons on the underside of it that you can customize as well. These are a bit awkward to use at first, but once I got the hang of it, they came in handy in several games.
If you like the functionality of being able to customize your controller and enhance your game play, this controller is pretty much the best there is in my opinion.

Don’t sleep on this one…..

I have the first generation model of this thermostat and have been pretty happy with it, so I wanted to get this one for another floor in my house. My house has tri-zone heating and cooling so I have thermostats on all three floors. I have the Sensi ST75 on one floor, another brand on the main floor and added this one to my basement. Installation was pretty straight forward and didnt require calling someone out to install it for me. I’ve installed many of these between my house, in-laws and our AirBnB, so I knew what to do. If you are doing it yourself, I definitely recommend taking a picture of your old setup just in case something doesnt work right, you know how to put it back together.
I primarily use Apple HomeKit and Alexa, but have some Google products as well, so the fact that it works with most of those is an added plus for me. The display is nice and clean and was pretty easy to setup since I already had one of the thermostats installed and the app downloaded. This device doesnt have some of the features that more expensive units have, but the fact that I can control it remotely is really the biggest thing for me, since I have three different ones to monitor. With a wife, three kids and my in-laws all under one roof, being able to monitor utilities is a big plus for me.
I definitely recommend this unit for its ease of installation, setup and functionality.

Good entry-level dash cam

I’ve been having some problems with my current dash cam and in these days and times, I didn’t want to be without one so I ordered this one. Installation and setup were as to be expected with the hardest part being running the wire for the rear camera along the door sills to the back of my truck’s window. Fortunately, I already had hardwires from my previous dash cam so I just had to plug that in.
The suction cup mount didn’t really work well for me because my front windshield is lightly tinted and using the mount caused the tint to bubble. I had to improvise a bit with some extreme duty double sided tape that allowed me to mount in to the bottom of my rearview mirror which has held up well enough so far.
This dash cam is really a no frills, entry level camera. There is no WiFi syncing, no app to download to view files and just a bunch of other features that I had grown to like on my other unit. It doesn’t some with a memory card, so be mindful of that and honestly most of them don’t. The picture was clear enough and removing the memory card to view the recordings was easy.
There is really nothing special about this dash cam, but there really isn’t anything negative to say either. All in all, it’s a good basic dash cam.

Great software package, easy installation

Norton was one of the original antivirus software companies that I remember when I first got into computers and they are still around for a reason. Their products simply work and work well. With the constant fears of hacking and stolen identity, having some sort of protection is paramount. The fact that I can install this on 20 devices (both PC and Mac compatible) was the deciding factor in ordering this software. I have three kids and four adults in my house and they can all be online at any given time. Having every device protected is important. Also with kids, its important to block spyware and monitor the websites they visit and block the ones they shouldn't.
This package includes parental controls, password manager, antivirus, spyware and more. Installation was simple and I really liked that I could send the software to everyone in the family via email as opposed to going to each device to set them up myself with the code and account login information. With the ability to install on 20 devices, that is a huge timesaver.
I havent noticed any lagging or slower performance since I installed the software and basically it just works. Couldnt be easier and I feel protected. I would definitely recommend this software.

I really like this thing...

I've been looking into these for a while and finally got this one. I'm not completely certain it's better than flossing, but after several uses, I definitely feel like it works well. There are two different heads and multiple settings including deep cleaning. This thing is really messy though. So much so that I tend to use it in the shower as opposed to over the bathroom sink.
There is a built-in timer that vibrates after 15 seconds and lets you know when to go on to your next row of teeth. This is a great feature and the vibration is strong and then there is a brief pause, which could be a little longer, to let you know to go to the next row. The only real negative thing I can say about this is I wish the water reservoir was a little bigger. I can barely get through and entire regular cleaning, but I certainly cant get through a deep clean without having to pause to refill it. A slightly larger reservoir would solve that problem, but at the expense of adding some weight.
I am very happy with this so far and I'm sure I will get some good usage out of it.

I really wanted to like this setup with it being Wi-Fi 6 and can reportedly cover 7,000 square feet, but my experience has been less than stellar to date. I’m actually kind of sad about that because I do like their products. I currently run their Deco M4 mesh system and have really grown to like it, but there are some connection issues in certain parts of my house that i was hoping to resolve with this model.
There are several things that are really easy to like, such as the setup, adding nodes, setting up profiles and adding devices. Since I already had a Deco setup, all i had to do was go to the app and select “Create New Network”. The app was pretty straight forward and guided me through the setup process pretty well. After getting the first one setup, adding the nodes was simple. I set them up as directed on different floors of my house and in sort of a zig zag position.
I have an iPhone 13 Pro and the latest iPad Pro both of which use Wi-Fi 6. When I connected them and ran a Speedtest, the difference was noticeable. I pay for 1GB speed and although connecting wirelessly doesnt necessarily get any device to that speed, I went from 195-260mbps download to over 500mbps. Upload speed went from 17-20 mbps to a peak of about 40mbps. So the speed nearly doubled in each category.
I wish I could stop there, but now comes the bad part. All of the nodes were updated and i began adding devices and noticed that although i was in the same room as the main Deco, I wasn’t connected. I was actually using my cellular data which was connected to 5G. I went to each of the other locations and one location connected to the Deco and the other wouldn’t. I rebooted my phone and iPad and thought that would resolve the issue, but it has not. I then rebooted the router and things seem to be fixed, but not even 30 minutes later, i was on 5G again. I got online to see if TP-Link had any troubleshooting tips and found very few suggestions to resolve my issue. TP-Link has a chat bot that can help with certain issues, but after ten frustrating minutes, i gave up on it. I will have to reach out to them via email to see if I can get my issues resolved. I’m just glad i didnt start switching over all of my smart home items before i gave this a few days to make sure everything was working well.
The other negative aspect to this setup is the HomeShield service. I thought it would be something worthwhile to try out for the free trial, but when i went back to my original TP-Link network after not resolving the issues i mentioned before, I noticed that the features they are charging $54/year for are included for no charge. Features like parental controls, internet pause, etc. Furthermore the HomeShield service does not include any antivirus software (network protection is not the same thing). If you want antivirus software, unlimited VPN, secure browsing and several other tools, you can upgrade to the Total security packages that is $100/year for the first year and then $160/yr afterwords.

I will continue to troubleshoot it and see if I can get things to work, but I’m not sure its worth it when i will end up losing parental controls. I have two pre-teen boys at home for the summer. I'm definitely a Logitech fan

As you can see from the photos, I have several computing devices from Logitech and one more MX Keys keyboard and MX Vertical that I have at my office at work. Logitech is my go to brand for any accessories of this nature and including my iPad. These products are well made, reliable and have some great features. They are a little on higher side, but the quality is unrivaled.
One of the main reasons that I like this keyboard is that it can be used with three different devices using Bluetooth and work with both PC and Mac devices. You can switch between the paired devices with the touch of a button and the connection is flawless. If you download the optional software, you can customize the settings for each device. You can set app specific buttons and customize your entire top row of function keys. If you have multiple MX devices, you can pair them to one USB receiver so you dont have to take up multiple ports on your computer.
I really like how the backlight keyboard operates automatically when it senses motion above the keyboard. The battery life is going to vary based upon usage, but on my older keyboard, I can go several months using it Mon-Fri without having to charge it. I normally charge it up every 4-6 months just to be on the safe side, but you can use the keyboard while it's charging. It charges using a common USB-C to USB-A cable and can be charged using a charging brick or an available USB port on your computer.
The tactile keys are louder than on my MX Keys model by default, but they can be programmed for three different preferences. Tactile Quiet, Clicky and Linera. This keyboard is also deeper and since they arent encased in the keyboard, it is much easier to clean.
Overall, this is an awesome keyboard and I highly recommend it.

Simple, yet effective

Im someone who has struggled with skin care regiments since i was a teenager. Acne and skin irritations run in my family and after spending time on deployments in the desert and then returning to the cold weather of Ohio, my skin only got worse. About four years ago, i found out i have eczema and two of my kids have it as well. Needless to say, my skin has been through it.
I saw the Foreo Luna and thought i would give it a try. I can say that after using it for several weeks, I have been pleasantly surprised by the results. I initially used Noxzema with the Foreo and then switched over to the cream that came with it. This thing is very simple to use on a daily basis and has some great features when paired with the app. I use it every morning for about two minutes and then at night I do a facial massage. This thing is little, but packs quite the punch.
The app is where this thing really shines. You can download multiple programs to use with the Foreo and you can also adjust the time for some of them as well. They have programs for your eyes, chin and jawline and various others as well. The battery life has been really surprising. I generally charge it every three days or so, but I dont think its really necessary to charge it that often based on my usage.
I took some before and after pictures, but the before pictures didnt turn out well enough to publish, but i have some after pictures and I can honestly say that my skin is better and i have less irriation as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This case uses Apple's proprietary Smart Connector thus eliminating the need for another charger or cable. One of the best features of this case in my opinion.

The brightness is adjustable. It can give off light equivalent to a standard 60 watt bulb (default) but with the app, you can make the light brighter. If I remember correctly, its about 2400 lumens. For example, a 60 watt bulb is about 750-850 lumens.

You will need to have a "C" wire in order to use this. If you do not have one, there are additional instructions on how to wire it and it includes the wire you can use to jump it in your thermostat. If you have minor DIY skills, you should have no problem with the installation.

When I call someone they cannot hear me on the other end how do I fix this
I had that problem too initially, but I took the phone out and re-installed the phone into the case paying careful attention to making sure that the volume/vibrate button was installed correctly in the slot. Once i did that, the mic must have lined up the way it was supposed to and I havent had any problems since. Hope that helps.
