Easy to use, guided fixes and great web support

I'm a relative newbie when it comes to editing videos and as a Dad to a new son, i know that I will be taking tons of videos and pictures of him and his siblings. I have the new iPhone 11 Pro Max and while im still getting used to the ins and outs of its features, having this software adds to the fun and ease of editing.
My biggest problem has always been shooting videos either out of focus or in low light. Adobe Premiere Elements easily makes repairing those issues with a simple drag and drop. If you want to add effects or make the video darker or lighter, another drag and drop effect. You also have guided text to give step by step instructions on what you are doing. There is also the smart fix feature which analyzes your video and make the corrections it thinks are needed.
All in all, i think I will have a lot of fun with this software and with my newest addition, he will be the star of many family videos.

Good case, but you see every fingerprint

I just got this case today and although it provides great a great grip when I’m holding it, you will definitely see every single fingerprint smudge on it. I’m not usually a clear case type of guy but since I bought the green iPhone 11 Pro Max, I wanted it to be seen a bit.
All in all, as a case, it will work just fine and will protect your phone well enough.

Great addition to my home security setup

I’ve been using this for about a week now and I’m very impressed with the overall performance of this camera. You definitely want to use it in high definition mode for a clearer resolution and the included (and upgradeable) 16gb memory card is a welcome plus. I may upgrade it later but so far it’s been more than sufficient.
Installation is simple and includes a template to mark the holes and also includes an extension cable in case your outlet is further than 15 feet away.
I mounted this above my garage and other than having to climb into the crawl space to run the wire, it was easy. The only suggestion I would make is to the mount. The mount can be adjusted up and down, but not left to right. I didn’t know this before I installed it so my camera is a little off center but it still works for my installation.
The app works great and you can also record audio but you can’t have a two way conversation, but that’s not that big of a deal at this price point.

Works well, but with a few minor bugs

I've had this installed on both my windows PC and MacBook Pro for several days now and all in all its not bad. You definitely have to tweak the settings a bit to get it to work well with either operating system.
Installation was simple and easy and took about 10-15 minutes to complete. Once installed, I ran an initial scan and it found almost 30gb of data that could be cleaned, broken registry files and several items that I could keep from running to speed up my system. I have an SSD drive, so speed wasn't that big of a deal to me, but getting rid of unnecessary files was huge as it saved me a ton of hard drive space.
The one feature you want to make sure you tweak before you start is the Blocked & Allowed Apps. If you click on an app to open it and it wont work, its because it hasn't been listed on the allowed apps section of the settings. I also had issues accessing websites, such as Google without adjusting those settings as well.
After using this for several days, I've learned how to adjust some of the settings and it has worked really well for me so far. Im used to some of the other brands of software, but this works just as well and in some cases better than the big names. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed.

Great concept, App/Pairing needs work

The concept behind this piece of exercise equipment is great, but the app is where this fails in my opinion. The fact that i can get multiple weight settings (12-42 lbs) with just one kettle bell is awesome and saves a lot of space in my already crowded workout room. Switching weights, literally took seconds to do and couldnt have been easier.
While this has great potential, the exercise tracking is where it let me down. I have multiple apps that I use for tracking my workouts and i use my Apple Watch as well. I tried pairing the kettle bell to my iPhone X, 11 Pro Max and Google Pixel XL and I wasn't successful at any of them. This is the reason i gave it 4 out of 5 for the overall rating.
The JaxJox website has some great workouts that can be used with the kettle bell and if you have a smart tv with a web browser in your workout room, you can watch them online or you can just use your phone.
If the app connection wasnt a necessity for me, i would easily give this 5 out of 5, but until i am able to pair and track my workouts, its just a 4 for me. I would still recommend this.

Easy to use, easy to clean

I ordered this coffeemaker to use in my home office in my basement so I wouldn't have to keep running upstairs each time I wanted another cup. The online pictures dont look as nice as the actual product. This looks and feels much more high end.
After unpacking any item that I use for to make something edible, the first thing I do is break out the dish detergent and bleach. Fortunately, with this coffeemaker, everything with the except of the bottom part is dishwasher safe. I was a bit skeptical because I assumed something would come out melted or deformed from the heat of it drying. I was pleasantly surprised that all was well after I took the parts out.
One of my favorite features of this coffeemaker is the auto-pause feature. A lot of times I just dont want to wait for the entire pot to complete before having a cup and with this system, you just lift the carafe, pour your cup and place it back down. The coffee making resumes afterwards. Definitely a plus for me.
All in all, this is a really nice coffeemaker from a reliable brand. You won't go wrong with this one.

Best Robovac I've used so far

I've had this for about a week or so and compared to the two other models that I have, this one is my favorite. I love the dirt collection bin which keeps me from having to empty the vac after each use. Setup was pretty simple and i was up and running in minutes.
It is important to make sure that any wires or random items are removed or tucked away and then just let her rip! The only negative thing that I can say about this robovac and the reason I took off one star, is the mapping feature. I've run the vac at least four times and the map is only 7% complete. The mapping is great when you want to block certain areas from being vacuumed. You can program it run automatically or just when you want to within the app.
As i said previously, this is my third robovac and each is from a different manufacturer and this is hands down my favorite.

Another great Ninja product

This is probably my third or fourth Ninja small appliance and I am definitely a fan. The grill has a relatively small footprint compared to another indoor grill that I have, but this one is pretty much plug it in, set the temp, put on the food and set the timer. Easy as pie.
The grill came with a recipe book so i paged through it and found a burger recipe. I added my own seasonings, but i pretty much followed the directions for the cook time. I knew that I liked my burgers cooked through a bit more, so i put the timer on for 11 minutes. My kids love "baby burgers" so i made them slider size and was able to put all six in at once.
They turned out pretty good, but i had to cook them through a little longer. There is a learning curve to determine how long you need to cook food to reach optimal temperature. I placed the buns in for a minute and they were nice and toasty, but not burned. You can see from the photos how everything turned out.
I really liked the timer stop feature. When you lift the lid to check the food, the timer automatically stops until its closed again. There was also no need to flip the burgers because the grill cooks all around. It cooks fast and there was very little, if any smoke which was great. Next I'm going to make some teriyaki wings and see how they turn out. I'm a gadget guy and anything that i can use to speed up my cook time and minimize my mess, I'm all for. This will be a staple in my kitchen, at least when i cook!

Much better than expected

Every time I upgrade my phone, I find myself on this endless journey to find the perfect case for it. I prefer something slim, black and one that will work with a belt clip. I typically stay away from silicone type cases, because they don't work well with belt clips and they generally collect a lot of dust. This case is the exception.
I've had this case for a couple of days now and I'm really very impressed with it. Its not bulky, but definitely protects my iPhone X and although it's not entirely a silicone case, it balances a nice protective shell, with a good grip on the outer shell. I also haven't had any issues with pocket lint, tempered glass screen protector or scratches. It also has anti-microbial technology for added protection against germs. This case fits into my holster from another brand, not perfectly snug, but well enough for me not to worry about it falling out when i wear it.
All in all, this is a great minimalistic case, with great grip and simple design. I would definitely recommend this case.

Good modem, Wifi could be better

I was in the process of switching internet providers when I ordered this to avoid paying a monthly fee to rent the internet company. I finally switched from Spectrum to Wow, yesterday and I know that Arris is a big player in the modem market so I assumed this would be a better replacement than the one provide. The box is about the same size as the one provided by WOW, which is to say it’s a pretty decent sized box. It does have four Ethernet ports on the back, which is a plus, but no USB input for added networking. For a router at this price point, I would think that would be standard.
Setup was painless and it actually took me more time to get through to my provider than it did to get up and running. I was hoping this would provide enough coverage to allow me to unplug my Orbi mesh router, but of course it did not. My home is about 3500 square feet, not including the basement and the signal was fine on the main floor, but trailed off a bit on the second floor as well as the basement. However, when I turned off the router’s wifi and connected to the Orbi, my signal improved significantly.
This modem broadcasts in both 2.4ghz and 5.0ghz which is pretty standard but does not support MIMO. When I switched providers, I upgraded to 500mbps download from the 100mbps I had previously and I didn’t notice any significant increases or decreases in upload and download speeds. So honestly, other than saving me $10/month on my bill, there is no real benefit to this modem in my situation. Then I found out that when I added WOW’s whole home DVR service, the modem was included in the package, so there is even less benefit for me with this modem.
Based upon my needs and usage, I would not recommend this modem. I reconnected the modem from my provider and will keep this as a backup in the event my situation changes. At $300, if I was paying the $10 monthly fee for the provider, it would take me 2 1/2 years to get my money back and by then, there will be something better with more features on the market. It is a good modem, but the wifi connection isn’t that great. I would look elsewhere.

The brightness is adjustable. It can give off light equivalent to a standard 60 watt bulb (default) but with the app, you can make the light brighter. If I remember correctly, its about 2400 lumens. For example, a 60 watt bulb is about 750-850 lumens.

When I call someone they cannot hear me on the other end how do I fix this
I had that problem too initially, but I took the phone out and re-installed the phone into the case paying careful attention to making sure that the volume/vibrate button was installed correctly in the slot. Once i did that, the mic must have lined up the way it was supposed to and I havent had any problems since. Hope that helps.
