Necessary accessory for AirPod Pro’s

I’ve used these in the past for Bluetooth headsets and was always impressed. These are no different. I’ve had these on my AirPod Pros for some months now after trying different options to get a tight seal in my ears. The OEM tips are ok, but I always felt like they would slip out, so I constantly found myself pushing them back in.
The thing I really like is that they actually click onto the AirPods like the OEM tips. After that , squeeze them a bit and pop them in and the right seal is apparent. They also improve the noise cancelling feature. They are super comfortable and I like that they are black as opposed to white because no matter how clean your ears are, they always end up with wax on them. They also fit nicely inside of the charging case with no problem.
These are an awesome accessory to a great product. I definitely recommend these.

Best small business scanner yet

This is my second scanner from Epson and although I thought my first one was the bees knees, this one is much better.
The scanner itself has a small footprint and sets up very easily. I plugged it in, set it up, downloaded the drivers and software and I was up and running.
The scanning speeds are so fast that I was shocked that it had not only scanned it correctly, without errors but the clarity was impressive at 300 DPI.
The included software is definitely a much appreciated bonus. There are two included software programs. One is for organizing business cards and the other is for organizing receipts. The receipt software is primarily why I got this. The software reads the receipts and identifies the date, retailer and amount for you automatically. It isn’t 100% accurate but it’s been pretty good so far. You can then export the files to accounting software, to cloud services or a thumb drive which is inconveniently located on the back of the scanner.
This is a great little powerhouse for us and I would certainly recommend it to anyone.
The color touch screen is very responsive, even with my big mitts.

Not bad, big footprint

I ordered this because I have a 15 month old who doesn’t sleep as well as he should through the night. I thought this would be a good thing to try out in his room. I must admit it was much larger than I thought it would be but it covers a large area so I guess that’s the trade off.
It can be very loud until it gets the air at the appropriate level and you can adjust the fan speeds so that it isn’t as loud. It will take longer but that is the trade off. When I first unboxed it and plugged it in, I let it run at high until it was bedtime. I’m not sure if the air was really bad but I ended up turning it down to night mode so that he could sleep. He had been sleeping longer than usual since I’ve plugged it in so it was definitely worth it for us. I do think it should come with a remote control or an app that can be controlled via Bluetooth so that I can adjust it without having to go to the unit. It’s not that inconvenient to adjust the speeds but I would think something at this price point would include one of those options.
Overall, I think this is a good purifier than works in a large area and the air is noticeably cleaner in his room. I would recommend this but there are probably other units on the market that have more features.

I have a larger Bissell carpet cleaner that is really good but a pain to drag up and down the stairs. This one is perfect for small areas and cleaning rugs. I had a rental property that I was cleaning up prior to the tenants moving in, so I thought I would test this out. It took a while because it’s not very wide but it did an excellent job of cleaning the carpet.
The handle collapses and makes it smaller and easier to move around the house and it has a 1/2 gallon tank. Like I said before, this is ideal for smaller areas so I had to empty the tank and refill the bottle multiple times but that was to be expected. I bought some of the Bissell cleaner that has Febreze in it and it left a very pleasant scent. This is a nice little carpet cleaner and I would definitely recommend it.

Difficult interface for Mac

I’ve wanted to get this software for a while now, mainly just to create memes and have some fun photoshopping my friends and family onto different people, but the interface is pretty tricky and I haven’t quite mastered the techniques. I don’t know if the user interface is better with Windows, but I have had a hard time with it on my MacBook.
The software does have guided instructions and expert level guidance and I like that it has instruction based on what you want do. However, I didn’t see anything in regards to putting someone’s head on another person’s body or creating GIF’s and memes with photos. Maybe the GIF’s are created using different software, but I thought Photoshop had that ability. I’m probably going to search YouTube and see if there are some videos that I can use to have fun with the software.
I don’t consider myself to be a beginner when it comes to computers and software, but after using this software, I’m starting to re-evaluate myself.
I gave it three stars because it’s quite possible that I don’t know what I’m doing or I’m in the wrong section, but I will assume it’s user error and not the software. Hopefully i’ll find some good instructions on the interweb. Lol.

Perfect if you are renting or a heavy mobile user

I've been searching for a setup that can replace my current ADT Home security system. Something that is fully customizable to my needs and preferences, but also something that plays well with HomeKit or Alexa without breaking the bank in monthly fees. I thought I would give this setup a try and honestly, it was pretty underwhelming for me.
This equipment came well packaged and the parts were easy to identify and setup. Setup is done by downloading the Blue by ADT app and following the setup instructions. This couldnt have been easier and one of the highlights of this system. The hub, which is the brains of the outfit is pretty large and not something that you could mount on a wall.
This came with four door/window sensors and two motion sensors. This is similar to what I've seen in other systems, but the downside is there is no camera. I can add one according to their website, but one camera will cost me 2/3rds of what the entire system costs and that goes for the doorbell camera as well. This is what really turned me off about the system and is the main reasons i cant recommend this system.
The monitoring fees are reasonable and in line with their competitors and was one of the reasons I considered this system. Overall, I wasnt as impressed with the system as I thought I would be and I would actually recommend looking at other systems over this one.

Still the best brand for aftermarket mobile access

Belkin is by far my favorite brand of aftermarket mobile accessories. Their products are just well made and use quality materials. This charger is no different.
I was actually in the market for a dual USB-C charger to fast charge my iPhone and to charge my iPad Pro when I’m out and about. I had looked at several other brands that I considered before getting this one. The difference between this one and others I’ve researched are basically the wattage and the size of the charger itself.
This charger is smaller than most of the other models but still packs 36 watts. My iPad Pro came with a 20 watt USB-C charger and you can pretty much use any charger for the iPhone. I plugged this in on my way to work, which is about a 35 minute drive with my iPhone at roughly 83% and my iPad at roughly 87%. When I finally arrived at work the iPhone was charged to 92% and my iPad was at 97%. I was more than surprised at this.
Granted, this was no scientific study to determine the rate of charge or anything. Just a simple plug it in, notice the battery levels and see what they were when they stopped charging. I was more than happy with the results.
My only complaint would be that it doesn’t stay in the cigarette lighter very well. I often have to push it back in to seat it because it had come loose. Other than that, I really have no complaints or issues with this charger. Definitely a winner for me.

I thought it was cool, my kids felt otherwise

I have two boys ages 8 and 10 who are studying coding and other STEM lessons in school, so I thought this would be cool for them. After I packaging everything, downloading the app and charging the robot, we set out to give it a go. I was impressed with how intuitive it was and the different levels of learning based on skill level. You can draw, drive and it lights up as well. I thought being that they could use a tablet to program and play with it, the would enjoy it. However, I was wrong. My kids actually told me this is more Sega Genesis and they prefer Xbox One. I had to laugh at that because for one, I didn’t think they knew anything about Sega and the analogy was hilarious to me.
Even with that aside, I told them to give it a try and have some fun with it. They played with it for about an hour and lost interest in it. My one year old son seemed to enjoy it more because he could chase it around and watch it light up and make sounds and music.
I guess my one year old and I enjoyed it more than the two I got this for. With that being said, I do think it’s a great tool to introduce kids to coding and helping them to understand what they can do with it. I think the next time they are playing Fortnite, I will try to explain to them how coding makes that game work and maybe they will understand that the Sega Genesis really was an awesome gaming system, just like the robot can be with a little creativity and patience.

Good but could be so much better

I’ve got a hodgepodge of devices from varying companies but the Google devices always seem to be a bit more difficult to set routines with. I had already downloaded and installed Google Home and Assistant, so I just had to add the device to my setup. Once plugged in and on the Home app, setup was quick. It did have to download an update but that took less than 10 minutes.
I have a Google speaker, Nest Yale lock and several other components that I use regularly. I was hoping that the speaker would announce when the door was unlocked or when my garage opened but it did neither, so that was kind of a bummer but I can tell it to set an alarm or ask the weather and other things that most voice assistant’s can do.
The clock itself has a nice display that is easily visible in both the day and at night. It also has a USB-A port on the back that looks like it can charge another device. The clock displays the weather which is nice and automatically updated for daylight savings time.
I decided to put this in my kids room because instead of manually setting the alarm each night for the different times they need to wake up for home school or getting ready to catch the bus, I can do it with my voice. All in all this is an ok clock but I think there are other brands that may be able to provide a more feature rich experience.

I’ve wanted one of these for a while just because of the benefits of cooking more healthy versus frying things in a pan with oil. This one is on the smaller side and is most suitable for making french fries and a small amount of wings which is what I made with it.
Using an air fryer versus a pan takes a little more time but the clean up is much quicker and the benefits of healthier eating. I made french fries first and followed the directions on the package and cooked them for around 12 minutes. They were a little over cooked and burned a bit but were still more than edible. The next batch I cooked for about 8 minutes and they turned out perfectly.
Next I cooked some wings and from start to finish took about 25 minutes. This is much longer than it normally takes in hot oil but they turned out pretty good. After cooking them in the air fryer, I baked them with the sauce and they were very tasty.
I like that this came with a few recipes in the booklet and there are many more to be found online. The footprint of this fryer is pretty small and can easily be stored in my kitchen cabinet or pantry. All in all, I liked using this over pan frying and will probably get a larger model at some point. The benefit of the healthier cooking and basically just putting the food in and leaving it alone until it beeps works great. Especially when my kids can use it fir their lunches while they are home schooling. I definitely recommend this fryer.

The brightness is adjustable. It can give off light equivalent to a standard 60 watt bulb (default) but with the app, you can make the light brighter. If I remember correctly, its about 2400 lumens. For example, a 60 watt bulb is about 750-850 lumens.

When I call someone they cannot hear me on the other end how do I fix this
I had that problem too initially, but I took the phone out and re-installed the phone into the case paying careful attention to making sure that the volume/vibrate button was installed correctly in the slot. Once i did that, the mic must have lined up the way it was supposed to and I havent had any problems since. Hope that helps.
