This is my second or third keyboard from Brydge and i continue to be impressed by their lineup of accessories for the iPad. This case takes it to a new level with the Otterbox case that i like because it prevents my tablet from getting scratched up and its as bulky as i would have thought.
I like the backlit keyboard and something that the iOS offerings dont have, which is a top row of functional keys for volume, brightness settings, lock button and media playback keys. The trackpad is a nice feature as well, although i am so used to the touchscreen that im going to have to retrain myself into using the trackpad.
The case is sturdy and well built and the only concern i really have is when disconnecting the tablet from the keyboard. Im not sure how long the clamps will hold up with repetitive use, but only time will tell. All in all, i think this is a well designed case, with minimal bulk, excellent protection and great features. I do wish they had the smart connectors so that I could do away with bluetooth and keep me from having to carry another cable, but that is a small cross to bear.

This is the second drone that I’ve gotten from DJI and I have to say that it is by far my favorite. Ive had other drones before from less reputable brands and when I got my first real one, which was the Mavic Mini, I knew I could never go back to a lesser brand. You can pay $100-$200 for something just to play around with in the backyard with the kids, but if you really want something quality and has a ton of features, the AIR 2S is the way to go. Of course you can go with more expensive models, but for me, this one fit the bill.
I must have checked my Fedex shipping status everyday waiting for this to come and when I got it, I broke it open to see all of the nice accessories that came with the Fly More Combo. The filters, bag, extra blades and batteries in the Fly More Combo makes this set worth getting over just the standalone Air 2S. That is unless you have the Air 2, which I believe everything is compatible with this one.
Let me apologize in advance for the lengthy review, but there is just too much to write about to not give it, its just due. First, I’ll tell you about the camera sensor. I don’t really want to do a comparison review between this one and the Mavic Mini but I will just say the picture and video quality are heads and shoulders about any other model that I have flown. The clarity is unreal and the video quality is unparalleled to anything I’ve flown. I attached some photos that I took with the drone camera, which were taken on a very sunny day, without using any of the ND filters. Even without a filter, the quality is amazing. Had I not been so excited to get it up and running, I would have taken the time to figure out how to take off the filter and put a different one on that was more suitable for the conditions, but that is my fault for lacking the patience to read the user guide. The thing about these photos is that these were taken as JPEG’s, not RAW files. The RAW files are larger, but with that you get greater color detail and the ability to edit them afterwards using aftermarket software. The detail in those photos is incredible to say the least. The resolution and accurate color detail, particularly with darker shades was impressive and I was able to edit them even more using my MacBook Pro. I cant wait to take it to the Lake Erie and get some night shots of the city and the water. That is one thing I wish I could have done before writing this review.
Next, I’ll talk about the obstacle avoidance. This version can detect obstacles in front, back, upward and downward which is great for beginners and helps when you are using ActiveTrack which is another awesome feature. I was at a local park with my drone and I met a guy who was walking with his wife and he was definitely a drone guy. I asked him if I could video him and his wife while the walked down the path so that I could evaluate the tracking feature. They were all for it and waved to the drone while I was filming. There were numerous trees around the park and the drone automatically avoided them and still maintained the camera on the couple. He came back and I showed him the video and he was impressed, just as much as I was.
The AIR 2S has a range of roughly 6 miles, although I didn’t take it that far out, I never had any interference and had clear recording and photos throughout my first flight. This is probably due to the dual frequency (2.4ghz and 5.8ghz) that eliminates a lot of the interference.
I really wish I could post some of the amazing videos that I shot with this drone. I mean the features are amazing. The Hyperlapse recording is one of my favorite features for toying around. I recorded my kids playing in the backyard. Going from the trampoline to the jungle gym and just running around and the detail and clarity were much more than I expected. I had fun also using the Sphere setting while recording. I will admit I need more practice with that, but I see some epic videos in my future with that feature. It shoots the video in a circle from the highest to lowest point and still maintains clarity.
Although I was using an iPhone 11 with my controller and constantly found myself fighting with the brightness of the sun to really see what I was doing, I had a tremendous amount of fun tracking subjects and taking photos. The DJI Fly app is very intuitive and powerful. You can adjust all of the settings from maximum height and distance, to resolution, image type and various other settings. I touched the screen on my phone to select my sons running and recorded some good video. The gimbal automatically followed them and all I had to do was maintain control of the drone.
Another great use that I found for this drone is taking aerial shots of our various rental properties. I had a new roof put on one of the houses a few months ago and I was able to fly above it and check out the work that was done. We had a decent storm come through after the roof was put on and I was able to see if there was any damage done and see the quality of their work.
I can go on and on about how much I enjoy this new toy, but if you really want to see the benefits of it, you will really need to go out and get one. The only downside to using this drone in bright areas is using my phone. Although my phone has a decent display, it dampened my enjoyment a bit trying to see the screen. I would recommend getting the DJI Smart Controller if you are serious about using your drone. Its pricey and I’ve decided that I’m going to save up and purchase one. My neighbor has one for his Mavic Pro and FPV drones and he let me try it out and it is so much more superior than any phone that I can imagine using with the drone. I’ve already been dropping hints to my wife about Father’s day and my birthday coming up and what would be a great gift, so maybe I’ll get lucky. I wont hold my breath though.
I truly cant give this thing high enough praise. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking into this as a hobby or profession. I didn’t speak about the registration or classes you need to take in order to use this for business purposes, but that information is readily available online.

As an army veteran, I’m used to shaving with razors and although they cut very close, my skin was always irritated and i often developed shave bumps afterwards. Now that, I’m a civilian, I don’t need to shave so close and have been searching for something that saves my skin the agony of the razor.
This shaver doesn’t cut as close as a razor but i also don’t need it to. It has some good weight and balance to it and it does a pretty good job of shaving my goatee. It’s not something that i can use in the morning without waking up my wife because of how loud it is, but its definitely the best shaver I’ve used in a while. It comes with a carrying case, but the case wont hold the charger which doesn’t make much sense. I’m not sure how long the trimmer holds a charge, so if its significant, that could be the reason why.
It has a nice design and looks pretty futuristic which added to my appeal about this trimmer. All in all, this is a nice trimmer and i would recommend it.

I’m an Apple guy, so whenever I see something that says AirPlay, I’m pretty much going to get it. This speaker to put it mildly is pretty awesome.
To look at the size of this speaker and then to listen to it, I wouldn’t have believed it. The quality is amazing with no discernible distortion at the audio level I played it at and it has some pretty good low end for a speaker of this size. Incredible to say the least.
I had some trouble setting it up with my iPhone, but I reached out to their customer service and after a few back and forth emails, my problem was resolved. If you are setting this up with an iPhone, you have to make sure you allow “local network” when going through the app. A simple fix and then I was up and running. Kudos to their customer support who responded within 30 minutes. I was expecting several days before I received a response so I was more than satisfied with the service.
Unlike most apps that are really only beneficial during setup, updates and adjusting a few settings, this one is very useful. You can program three of your favorite radio stations to the buttons on the top of the speaker, which is a great feature if you have multiple users. Although I only have one speaker (at least for now), if you have multiples you can play a different source on each speaker. My speaker is setup in my office, but if I had one in another part of the house, that speaker could play something completely different. This is great when my wife wants to listen to podcasts in the kitchen and I’m in baby’s room trying to put him to sleep lullabies.
I tried playing a movie on Netflix using the speaker and I noticed there was a slight delay. I saw in the manual some troubleshooting tips to correct this, but since this is going to be used primary for music, I didn’t try to correct it.
If you have a hi definition audio subscription such as Tidal or Amazon HD music, you will truly appreciate the quality of this speaker. The sound was amazing while playing Amazon and even better on Tidal. I also played some Pandora and Apple Music tracks and it still produced great audio.
I literally have no complaints about the quality of this speaker and I will definitely be adding at least one or two more to my collection. The only thing The OCD in me noticed, was on one of the setup screens, the word “please” was misspelled. You can see it in the screen shot that I took. Pretty minor as it doesn’t affect anything but just something I noticed.
All in all this a great little speaker and I don’t think you can go wrong with it.

Nice PC, better than most entry level PC's

Since I have two boys working from home due to COVID, i thought this would be a good setup for them to have in addition to their school issued laptops, which can be pretty sluggish. I have the big sister to this one that has the i7 processor and 512 SSD, which is perfect for me and overkill for my kids.
I hooked up a second monitor to this AIO and its pretty much the perfect setup for my kids to do their homework and do research at the same time. I particularly like the pop up webcam, that gives me greater assurance that it is not being used inadvertently. The processor mixed with the SSD gives this better performance than i expected. There is a noticeable difference between this one and the larger model that i use, but there should be. This model is probably considered entry level, but it performs much better than that.
This is a nice desktop and in the week that i have had it, my kids and i have enjoyed setting it up and customizing it for their needs. I would definitely recommend it.

Necessary accessory for AirPod Pro’s

I’ve used these in the past for Bluetooth headsets and was always impressed. These are no different. I’ve had these on my AirPod Pros for some months now after trying different options to get a tight seal in my ears. The OEM tips are ok, but I always felt like they would slip out, so I constantly found myself pushing them back in.
The thing I really like is that they actually click onto the AirPods like the OEM tips. After that , squeeze them a bit and pop them in and the right seal is apparent. They also improve the noise cancelling feature. They are super comfortable and I like that they are black as opposed to white because no matter how clean your ears are, they always end up with wax on them. They also fit nicely inside of the charging case with no problem.
These are an awesome accessory to a great product. I definitely recommend these.

Best small business scanner yet

This is my second scanner from Epson and although I thought my first one was the bees knees, this one is much better.
The scanner itself has a small footprint and sets up very easily. I plugged it in, set it up, downloaded the drivers and software and I was up and running.
The scanning speeds are so fast that I was shocked that it had not only scanned it correctly, without errors but the clarity was impressive at 300 DPI.
The included software is definitely a much appreciated bonus. There are two included software programs. One is for organizing business cards and the other is for organizing receipts. The receipt software is primarily why I got this. The software reads the receipts and identifies the date, retailer and amount for you automatically. It isn’t 100% accurate but it’s been pretty good so far. You can then export the files to accounting software, to cloud services or a thumb drive which is inconveniently located on the back of the scanner.
This is a great little powerhouse for us and I would certainly recommend it to anyone.
The color touch screen is very responsive, even with my big mitts.

Not bad, big footprint

I ordered this because I have a 15 month old who doesn’t sleep as well as he should through the night. I thought this would be a good thing to try out in his room. I must admit it was much larger than I thought it would be but it covers a large area so I guess that’s the trade off.
It can be very loud until it gets the air at the appropriate level and you can adjust the fan speeds so that it isn’t as loud. It will take longer but that is the trade off. When I first unboxed it and plugged it in, I let it run at high until it was bedtime. I’m not sure if the air was really bad but I ended up turning it down to night mode so that he could sleep. He had been sleeping longer than usual since I’ve plugged it in so it was definitely worth it for us. I do think it should come with a remote control or an app that can be controlled via Bluetooth so that I can adjust it without having to go to the unit. It’s not that inconvenient to adjust the speeds but I would think something at this price point would include one of those options.
Overall, I think this is a good purifier than works in a large area and the air is noticeably cleaner in his room. I would recommend this but there are probably other units on the market that have more features.

I have a larger Bissell carpet cleaner that is really good but a pain to drag up and down the stairs. This one is perfect for small areas and cleaning rugs. I had a rental property that I was cleaning up prior to the tenants moving in, so I thought I would test this out. It took a while because it’s not very wide but it did an excellent job of cleaning the carpet.
The handle collapses and makes it smaller and easier to move around the house and it has a 1/2 gallon tank. Like I said before, this is ideal for smaller areas so I had to empty the tank and refill the bottle multiple times but that was to be expected. I bought some of the Bissell cleaner that has Febreze in it and it left a very pleasant scent. This is a nice little carpet cleaner and I would definitely recommend it.

Difficult interface for Mac

I’ve wanted to get this software for a while now, mainly just to create memes and have some fun photoshopping my friends and family onto different people, but the interface is pretty tricky and I haven’t quite mastered the techniques. I don’t know if the user interface is better with Windows, but I have had a hard time with it on my MacBook.
The software does have guided instructions and expert level guidance and I like that it has instruction based on what you want do. However, I didn’t see anything in regards to putting someone’s head on another person’s body or creating GIF’s and memes with photos. Maybe the GIF’s are created using different software, but I thought Photoshop had that ability. I’m probably going to search YouTube and see if there are some videos that I can use to have fun with the software.
I don’t consider myself to be a beginner when it comes to computers and software, but after using this software, I’m starting to re-evaluate myself.
I gave it three stars because it’s quite possible that I don’t know what I’m doing or I’m in the wrong section, but I will assume it’s user error and not the software. Hopefully i’ll find some good instructions on the interweb. Lol.

This case uses Apple's proprietary Smart Connector thus eliminating the need for another charger or cable. One of the best features of this case in my opinion.

how bright is this?
The brightness is adjustable. It can give off light equivalent to a standard 60 watt bulb (default) but with the app, you can make the light brighter. If I remember correctly, its about 2400 lumens. For example, a 60 watt bulb is about 750-850 lumens.

When I call someone they cannot hear me on the other end how do I fix this
I had that problem too initially, but I took the phone out and re-installed the phone into the case paying careful attention to making sure that the volume/vibrate button was installed correctly in the slot. Once i did that, the mic must have lined up the way it was supposed to and I havent had any problems since. Hope that helps.
