The mixing bowl rusted but GE fixed it

I recently acquired the GE Profile 7 Quart Bowl - Smart Stand Mixer with Auto Sense, and it has quickly become a staple in my kitchen. This appliance has exceeded my expectations in several key areas, making it a remarkable addition to my culinary toolkit.
First and foremost, the build quality is impressive. The mixer feels sturdy and well-constructed, which instills confidence in its longevity. It can handle even the most demanding mixing tasks without wobbling or feeling flimsy.
Performance-wise, the GE mixer is a powerhouse. Its motor is robust and provides consistent, reliable power. From whipping cream to kneading bread dough, this mixer tackles a wide range of tasks with ease. I particularly appreciate the various speed settings, which allow for precise control over the mixing process, ensuring that ingredients are perfectly incorporated.
What sets this mixer apart is its versatility. It comes with a selection of attachments that make it suitable for various kitchen applications. The included mixing bowl is a decent size, and the splash guard prevents messy accidents. The attachment swapping is straightforward, and the appliance itself is easy to clean. Also GE knows who the biggest competitor is in this space, therefore kitchenaid attachments are compatible with this mixer.
The noise level is relatively low for a mixer of this caliber, which is a pleasant surprise. You won't have to endure an earsplitting racket while using it, making for a more pleasant cooking experience.
One minor drawback is that it's slightly bulkier than some other mixers on the market, so it may require a bit more storage space. However, the overall performance more than compensates for this small inconvenience.
On MAJOR drawback is that the stainless steel bowl rusted along the rim of the bowl even though the user manual stated the bowl is dishwasher safe. GE immediately sent out a replacement bowl which also rusted along the rim of the bowl after being placed in the dishwasher. Most importantly, and as a result of my testing, GE reached out and said they got in Touch with their stainless steel bowl supplier and will be changing the polishing process to make sure the bowls do not rust. I was sent a third bowl which has a higher polish finish along the rim and it has not rusted after three bouts in the dishwasher. GE is standing behind their product which is good to see! If you are having the rusting issue, reach out and they will get it squared away.
In summary, the GE mixer has proven to be a reliable and versatile kitchen companion. Its impressive build, powerful motor, and range of attachments make it a fantastic addition to any home kitchen. If you're looking for a mixer that can handle a variety of tasks with ease and precision, this is a solid choice.

The Ray-Ban Wayfarer Meta Smart Glasses are a seamless blend of style and technology, almost indistinguishable from the classic Ray-Ban Wayfarer in terms of their sleek and stylish design. Surprisingly, despite housing advanced tech features, they maintain the slim profile and comfortable fit of the original Wayfarer.
These glasses offer a plethora of technological capabilities, with a notable mention going to the integrated camera. The picture and video quality are impressive, providing sharp and clear imagery. When recording videos, you have the flexibility to choose between 15-second, 30-second, and 1-minute clips, ensuring versatility in capturing your moments. Moreover, the livestreaming option allows you to continuously stream until your battery runs dry. Capturing photos and videos is a breeze, thanks to the intuitive button on the right side of the glasses or voice commands. However, it's worth noting that there is a slight delay when taking photos.
One common concern with smart glasses is privacy, but Ray-Ban has addressed this by incorporating an LED indicator that flashes when recording or taking photos. Although the LED is quite bright, it might go unnoticed by most people in public settings.
One pleasant surprise with these glasses is the audio quality. Despite the speakers being positioned above your ears rather than inside, akin to traditional headphones, the audio remains crystal clear. You can conveniently adjust the volume by swiping up and down along the right side of the glasses.
Considering that the standard Ray-Ban polarized Wayfarer sunglasses are priced at $220, the Meta Wayfarer Smart Glasses are a surprisingly reasonable upgrade, with only an additional $80, totaling $300. This makes them an attractive option for those looking to combine fashion and tech seamlessly.

Withings claims you experience a full health check up in 90 seconds, and I agree. First thing’s first lets make it clear that this scale is extremely accurate in measuring your weight. Set up was very easy and I just followed the step by step instructions in the Withings app. The scale connects to your WiFi network. Another useful feature is that the scale has a rechargeable battery and the connector is USB C.
I have never had a scale smart or not, that provided segmental body composition. Any time I wanted body composition I had to use the calipers and figure it out that way. The other interesting aspect is the cardiovascular health feature. The Withings Body Scan uses an ECG, Vascular age, and standing heart rate to measure your cardiovascular health. Now let’s refer back to that 90 second full health check up. I whopping 30 of those 90 seconds are solely for the ECG!
All of the data points are transmitted to your phone through the Withings app. I have an iPhone and granted Withings access to my health data. So when I log a run on my apple watch or iPhone, Withings pulls that health data into the Withings app and takes the activity into consideration. When I launch the Withings app I know what my muscle to fat composition is for the various parts of my body, how my heart health is looking, and if I am trending upwards or downwards in the weight loss department. The heart tracking and segmental body composition is what sets this scale apart. Another item the scale tracks is your Electrodermal Activity (EDA) score which measures the and assesses the activity of the sweat glands in the soles of your feet. This score tells you your stress levels over time. This smart scale is the smartest one out on the market and is definitely for those that are serious into their health and are not afraid of having a scale give them the level of detail that the body scan scale is capable of.

We currently own three Ring Cameras strategically positioned around our home – one by the front door, another overlooking the driveway, and the third in the backyard. The camera's robust build is weather-resistant and capable of withstanding the elements, be it rain or snow. This reliability ensures continuous operation even in adverse weather conditions, the camera has worked well on the outside deck for the past couple of days with no issues.

USB C cable works with iPhone

As an iPhone 15 Pro owner I needed to replace all of my lightning cables with USB C cables that worked. I had a few USB C cables laying around but they wouldn't charge my iPhone. I had 6 different cables from various brands and they would not work. They weren't up to the specifications needed by the iPhone 15 pro to function as a charge cable. I used the Insignia USB C cable with the same power source and I had no issues at all. This is how I confirmed the issue was with the cables and not the power source. This cable is protected by a nicely braided sleeve and there is enough length for me to plug it into the outlet and use it most anywhere around my productivity space. Now, for the times I do not need so much cable, there is a cable management tie attached/included which I have used to keep things neat and orderly. What I can say is that the cable works with my iPhone 15 pro and provides everything I need in a charge/data cable. The cable length is much longer than what is available from able, and it is of the same quality as what is provided by apple. So why spend more if you can get a better product for less?

Compared to other mini drones, the Mini 2 SE operates with significantly less noise, preserving the serenity of your surroundings while you capture stunning aerial shots. I hate it when people use noisy drones when I am out on a hike and while this drone minimizes that disturbance I still asked the people around me if they minded me flying the drone for 5-10 minutes. No one had any issues and two different people mentioned the drone was much quieter than other drones they have had the displeasure of being exposed to when trying to relax on a hike.

Even if you're a novice pilot, you'll find this drone fairly easy to fly and maneuver. However, I'd recommend practicing in open spaces away from buildings or water to master your skills safely. The drone handles wind well, but the more it fights the wind the faster the battery will drain, so I would not recommend flying the drone over water until you feel comfortable with it.

One minor drawback is the drone's flight time, which maxes out at 30 minutes under perfect conditions. It's worth considering if you plan to capture longer videos or cover vast areas. Also the return to home function was hit or miss but not a deal breaker for me. However, if you're advertising the feature then it better work more than 50% of the time.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend the DJI Mini 2 SE Fly More Combo to both newcomers and seasoned drone enthusiasts. Having previously enjoyed my GoPro Hero 11, I recently made the leap to the new GoPro Hero 12, and the experience has been nothing but positive. My primary use for this camera is to document our outdoor and water adventures with my family. I even managed to capture some incredible water polo moments with my nephew. The Hero 12 shines when it comes to capturing action in the water, providing stunning image quality that never disappoints.
The head and chest straps are essential for fast-paced activities and have proven to be invaluable accessories. Depending on your filming goals, I'd highly recommend considering the accessory kit to elevate your shooting experience.
In terms of design, the transition from the GoPro Hero 11 to the Hero 12 is relatively seamless. The sensor and processor remain the same, but there are notable upgrades that make the Hero 12 a worthy investment. The most prominent of these is the extended battery life, roughly double that of its predecessor. This means more time to capture those thrilling moments without worrying about recharging.
