Solid robot vac with some minor flaws

My first foray into the robot vaccuum market is iRobot's Roomba 890, and it is an excellent option for my home needs. Used mainly in the living room/dining room/kitchen area, the 890 is smaller than I expected and short enough to get underneath all of my furniture. On the hardwood and kitchen porcelain tile, it is somewhat louder than I had hoped, but on the area rug it is whisper quiet. Connecting with the recommended iRobot app is simple though spotty at times when encountering errors - I would have liked to have a separate remote to control the device, and other household users will have to manually press the "Clean" button on the Roomba at the charging station to get it going. I was, however, able to quickly connect it to Amazon's Alexa for voice activation, so if this is an option in your household, it is a definite plus.
Once on the move, it does all the things you should expect: consistent, impressive dirt pickup; careful mobility near the staircase; impressive battery life and charge awareness; constant device state notification; and reliable self-returning. All the benefits of a robot vacuum are showcased in this little cleaning machine.
The 890's dirt compartment filled up quite fast for me and required numerous stoppage and waste disposal notifications, which was a little bit of a turnoff - maybe it won't need as much attention after a more consistent cleaning schedule, but with a long-haired cat roaming my house, I expect my device will fill more quickly than a petless household. I was able to create a cleaning schedule for the device when I am not at home so it wouldn't be a distraction, and activating the Roomba away from home was a cinch, but I do worry about the quick waste fill during these away hours.
That being said, the device is easy to clean and troubleshoot (the app also provides a short video for these tasks). The 890 is packed with an extra filter for future use and also a virtual wall device which I set up next to the cat's food area to avoid water or food bowl spillage.
Despite a few minor issues, the Roomba 890 met all of my expectations. While easy to setup and forget, there is a slight, aesthetic joy in watching it perform its tasks (the future!). While it may note have the bells and whistles of some of the more expensive robot vacs, the Roomba 890 is a solid option and is highly recommended.

Comfortable earbuds, quality sound

JBL's Everest 110 earbuds are light and comfortable, and it comes with multiple interchangeable pod sizes to fit different ears. The gunmetal color is matte but subtly vibrant. The microphone doesn't stick out and doesn't feel excessive or heavy like some other headsets, and it doesn't take much pressure to use the buttons. Pairing to my mobile device was simple and quick, and I used the headphones for 2-3 hours on three separate occasions before requiring a quick recharge.
Conversations on this headset were passable. The item promotes echo cancellation for better hands-free calling, but I found that it still emits the usual hollowness that most headsets encounter. Music, video audio playback, and podcasts, on the other hand, shine on the Everest 110, with rich, fully formed sound quality and surprising, impressive lows.
Overall, a solid bluetooth headphone choice with quality feel and sound at a modest price. Full disclosure, I received this product for my unbiased, honest review.

Earbuds with some nice features, some flaws

The JLab Audio JBuds work as advertised. Proper sound, good comfort, decent battery life. The bluetooth paired quickly and flawlessly to my mobile phone - podcast sound was clear, and music quality was passable, though I would have liked some better bass lows. One nice feature is the battery power indicator when the headset is turned on, a nice touch. The build is very lightweight but almost feels too fragile in quality. I also felt the controls/microphone was much larger than other wireless headsets and somewhat invasive while hanging next to my cheek.
Overall, this earbuds option from JLab Audio does the job at an affordable price, but I would probably look elsewhere for a higher quality feel and sound.

MX Anywhere 2S by Logitech has a comfortable, easily mobile design and multiple control options that should cover all your computing needs from a mouse. The battery is rechargeable via the included micro-USB cable (lists 70-day usage on a full charge!), and it connects via USB or bluetooth with the ability to seamlessly switch controls between multiple computers and even to transfer files between them.
The best feature is undoubtedly its ability to work on virtually any surface. Tested on hardwood, glass, carpet, rigid couch fabrics, and even on body parts like hands and arms, this mouse had no trouble functioning properly.

Surprisingly robust sound for a soundbar

I won't pretend to know the sound quality differences among optical, bluetooth, WiFi, or HDMI audio, but testing the different settings and pairing with the HDTV (I have a Samsung KS8500 for reference) was simple with the included remote. The sound quality from the HDMI connection is noticeably clear, but not by a large margin from the WiFi sound. Also paired an Android phone with the bluetooth with ease.
The internal subwoofer is the main feature for my taste, and it did not disappoint. I found substantial lows at bass setting #3 (goes from 0-6). The volume at below 50% (really, even 25%) is more than enough to fill an average living room, and you do get the movie theater rumbling effect that a more conventional external subwoofer provides. This soundbar has a suitable number of presets, like clear voice, movie, sports, etc., though I would have liked more customizability. I was able to pair my TV remote with the soundbar relatively quickly, so it is unlikely that I will be using the proprietary remote all that much once I have settled on a sound setting I prefer.
The display on the far right is small with large scrolling letters, which is a little bit of a turnoff if you have equipment that doesn't match the LED color or the font displayed. The product is large, heavy, and comes with mounting pieces if needed. All wires are hidden properly when sitting below my mounted TV on a short console table, so I will not be mounting it. Overall, aside from a few aesthetic preferences, this soundbar is a solid choice for a family home theater.

Fun activity for the gadget-lover

Bose gives you the chance to build your own speaker with the BOSEbuild Speaker Cube. While I don't have a child at the 8+ years recommended age range, I was a kid once with interests in gadgets and electronics. This kit is akin to the science kits and build-a-radio kits of my youth (am I that old?), so it definitely has appeal to the imaginative or creative type.
The finished product, if you followed the instructions properly, provide you with the signature Bose sound and quality you'd expect from the signature brand. However, you're purchasing this for the building, learning, and creative aspects and this product shines in those respects. A curious child who excels in problem-solving will follow guided steps (with the included Apple app) and instructions, and they will find joy in creating his or her own customized speaker.
This product may not appeal to everyone; once completed, it's unlikely a person will want to take it apart and repeat, so this aspect of the product is somewhat finite. But those who do complete the project should find their efforts rewarded with a quality, personalized Bose speaker.

High end sound for the music connoisseur

Audio-Technica does not disappoint with these BT wireless headphones. The feel is comfortable and not too heavy during prolonged use. The battery lasts several days in my heavy commuting schedule. Getting acclimated to the button configuration takes a little time, and the touchpad button for playback function was at first somewhat a drawback. I've gotten used to it. The range is decent, having tested it to around 30 ft. before losing some connectivity to the play source. The headset comes with a storage pouch (if you're into that), they are very durable, and the ears swivel for DJ style use or for flat storage (though I prefer a fold storage personally).
Sound quality is amazing, with a very full, rich, immersive sound in my tests ranging from classical, to electronica, pop to heavy-bass hip-hop, guitar-heavy alternative to podcasts. These headphones handled all genres beautifully. Sound quality was never going to be the issue with these headphones.
Overall, the Audio-Technica DSR7BT lives up to its brand name, delivering high quality sound and durable, fashionable aesthetics for the serious audiophile. Worth it.

Full wifi coverage for the family

The Amped Wireless Whole Home Wifi System was easy to install and connect. The product arrived with everything you need to get wireless connectivity to a lot of square footage, as the accompanying range extender can be put on another floor of your home and has an LED indicator that confirms to you it is in a good location.
Getting seamless service to my devices was very simple; I have been able to connect a couple of laptops, an iPad, several mobile phones and video game consoles, and an Android tablet thus far with no discernable lag or major issues. However, it's somewhat annoying having to download and refer to a recommended proprietary app for my setup and technical support. It's not that bad and there are conventional setup options available on your computer, but I just hate having to download yet another thing onto my devices.
A big plus is the ease of blocking/limiting usage on specific devices, which is great for parents managing kids' screen time. I did have some issues streaming 4K video in the far reaches of my three-story house, but nothing that really ruined the experience. Overall, this is a very robust router/extender combination that should provide you with all the coverage you and your family will need. A very good product.

Clean mouth on record

At first I thought the bluetooth connectivity and activity tracker was ridiculous. And it still is, to an extent. If you do it properly and timely, brushing your teeth should be as routine as eating and sleeping. However, for many people who occasionally skip the routine, the Oral B Pro 6000 becomes that much more useful.
The package comes with one brush head, a travel case, a power cord, and a stand/case for home. Getting connected is very simple: download and open the app, turn on bluetooth on your phone or tablet, pair, and you're done.
The app gives you a recommended allotment of time for each "mouth zone" and goes through a checklist for your other mouthcare needs like flossing and mouthwash. It saves your activity so you can track your progress or you can delete and start fresh.
The brush itself is very powerful with a fast rotation and long battery life, considering it is using power to keep bluetooth connectivity. I would have liked to see an extra brush head packaged, but you should be able to get good use out of the one for a long time.
Overall, this is a must for people who need "smart" things to keep them on track. For those already on routine, the quality and build is good enough and will give your mouth that after-dentist feeling every day. A great product.

The Panasonic Nanoe is easy to use, with two speeds and three heat settings to customize to your liking. It comes with a few different nozzles as well to match your style. The selling point of this hair dryer, though, is it's "nanoe technology" which promises an infusion of moisture-rich particles into your hair while you dry in order to provide volume. This quality truly sets it apart from other dryers on the market. Blow drying with the Panasonic Nanoe provides salon-quality texture and volume. Hair is soft and healthy in a very short amount of time. A comparable salon blowout will add up over time, so there is definitely value in this machine.
Overall, the ease of use, salon quality volume, and very quick process make this a must-buy if you are serious about your hair.

is it a perfect fit on the wii u gamepad cradle that comes with the deluxe wii u bundle, or is it a bit too tight or do you have to take off the Rocketfish - Wii U InvisiShell - Transparent first, then you can charge the wii using the wii u gamepad cradle?
You can charge it on the cradle without taking off the casing. The case is designed to have enough open space near its bottom where the gamepad will rest on the cradle.
