Excellent pressure washer for around the house.

I was really impressed with the Greenworks 3000 PSI Pro Electric Pressure Washer, this is my first electric pressure washer and it as at least as powerful, or more, than previous gas pressure washers I have used. The best part is that this is so much more quieter and less annoying to use than a traditional gas pressure washer. The included tips, the long cord/hose, and the good sized detergent tank make this a great choice for work around the house and makes quick work of any cleaning job you may need to do. This is not a professional or industrial pressure washer, so if you need that kind of work then I would look elsewhere, but for pretty much any work you may need to do around the house or on your vehicles this is a perfect fit.
I spent a weekend using this to clean up various things around my house, camping gear, patio, cleaning the car, and a few other tasks/chores and I was really impressed with the performance that this pressure washer is capable of. I had no issues getting these tasks done and without feeling the fatigue from the loud annoying gas motor of a traditional pressure washer. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to get a pressure washer for use around their house.

The Insignia Trend Hard-Shell Case for the iPhone 14 Pro Max is a great hard-shell case for your iPhone, it is very durable with a variety of nice trendy designs. This particular design, the spring flowers, is very nice and looks good on a case. The image itself is printed between different layers meaning that unlike cheaper designed cases there is very little risk of the design getting scratched or faded with use, especially if you frequently like to change cases so I am very pleased with the overall quality of the Insignia case.
The hard-shell case provides excellent protection for your iPhone protecting it against drops, scratches, and other daily issues that could cause damage to an otherwise unprotected iPhone. The only drawback is that this case is not MagSafe compatible, it does not claim to be, but it would be nice if it was as it would make charging your phone much simpler for those who prefer to make use of MagSafe charging. Other than that one minor personal complaint, the Insignia Trend Hard-Shell Case is an excellent case for your phone and I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes having a hard-shell case with a nice design on your phone.

Overall the Best Buy essentials magnetic wireless portable charger is not a bad product for anyone who is looking for a MagSafe/Qi charger for their compatible phone. It does what it is meant to do which is charge your compatible devices and it even features a kickstand which I have not seen on other portable chargers, so that is a nice addition, and I would say overall you can't beat the value of this device.
Other than that though there really isn't anything special about this charge, and I would say that there are better and faster alternatives for anyone who needs to get their devices charged on the go. This device is MagSafe compatible, but is not MagSafe certified which is a big distinction in regards to how quickly it will charge your compatible iPhones. Other reviews have also pointed out the lack of charge indication on this device and I will reiterate it as well, there is only a single light that will show orange when the battery is low or green when it is not, but it does not show the specific charge level and the fact that the only indication that it is done charging is a solid green light instead of a slowly blinking green light is not a great way to handle showing the charge status and can be confusing. I have used other portable chargers and they featured several lights indicating the charge level and would fill or deplete as used or charged, and would also stop charging once fully charged rather than continually pumping electricity into them.
Overall this isn't a bad product and if all you need is a way to charge your devices then I would say that it is a great value and it does what it is meant to, but there are also better alternatives that you could look into if you need better features.

The Blink outdoor wired camera with floodlight makes a great security camera to add to your house. With motion activated lights and recording it is super simple to keep track of what is going on in key areas of your house. This is a wired camera so it does require installation and wiring to house power, if you are not comfortable with this make sure to have either a professional install this or check out the wireless version of this same camera. The one downfall with this being wired is if for whatever the reason the power is cut this device will be offline since it does not have any sort of battery inside to keep recording.
I like the fact that Amazon has allowed the Blink devices to work fully without a subscription as long as you have the newer sync modules and a USB thumb drive you are able to record events locally without a subscription. There are some nice extras that are included with the subscription, but just for basic functionality no subscription is required and this is nice compared to some of the competition.
Overall I am extremely pleased with this camera and floodlight combo and would recommend it to anyone looking to expand their Blink security system.

Good beard trimmer, adequate nose trimmer.

Overall, I think the Philips Norelco Multigroom 5000 makes for a good trimmer, there are a lot of additional pieces which allow you to get the cut you want, it is quiet, and it charges quickly and lasts a long time on a charge. My only real complaints are the fact that it doesn't cut as close as I would like it so I still end up using shaving cream and a razor afterwards to get a close trim, and the ear/nose trimmer is not great at cleaning up ear/nose hair, it does the job but it takes a lot of going back and forth for it to get the job done.
Others have mentioned that it would be nice to have a better carrying case to neatly organize all of the loose parts and while I agree I personally only use this for trimming my beard and cleaning up my nose hair so I just keep the few attachments I need out and the rest go in the bag under the sink. The one thing that really annoyed me is the fact that it does not come with a charging brick for charging the trimmer, it only includes a USB cable which is great for travel where you can charge it on a power bank or your computer or whatever, but I think including the charging brick so I can actually plug it in as well isn't too much to ask for.
Other than those small complaints though it's a great trimmer that gets the job done and easily lasts for a week or more on a single charge.

I've seen bone conduction headphones for years and always assumed they wouldn't be that great compared to traditional headphones, however, after using the Shokz OpenComm headphones for some time now I can say for a fact that these are some of the best headphones I have used in quite some time. The bone conduction technology used by Shokz is really outstanding and gives good sound quality no matter the content you are listening to, I will say that if you prefer "bassy" headphones then these probably aren't the best, but for almost anything else I would highly recommend them.
I found these to be extremely comfortable since they aren't going in or over your ears you don't end up with any pressure on your ears, and they are lose enough on your head to not be uncomfortable but they are firm enough to stay on while running. I do have some complaints about the bar that goes behind your head since it will occasionally push the headphones up and into your ear if you are looking up or have any kind of equipment on your back or neck for them to bump into, but otherwise I think these are extremely comfortable and well designed.
The headphones use the newer bluetooth standard and the range is great while on bluetooth, I did notice that while using the computer dongle the range was not as far as while on bluetooth, so if you need additional range it will probably be better to use bluetooth on these. One other issue I've noticed while using the computer dongle is that there seems to be a noticeable delay whereas while using bluetooth I didn't notice this delay.
While the headphone audio quality is great, the microphone quality is not the best and the audio ends up sounding a bit hollow even with the mic as close to your mouth as possible, I would love to see them improve the microphone quality but I am still really impressed with these headphones and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good pair of headphones for work or video calls. The battery lasts forever as well and it makes it easy to get through a full 8 hour workday without having to even worry about the battery, if your workday is a bit longer than this you can put the headphones on the charger during your lunch and since these charge super quick you may even have a full charge depending on how long your lunch is.

I really like this sound bar, it has great sound quality, compact size, and a wireless subwoofer making it a great option for anyone looking to get a good sound bar for their audio needs. I really like that the hardware for wall mounting the sound bar comes included, although the instructions for wall mounting are only available in the online manual and not the included setup manual, but this is easy to get since there is a QR code for getting to the Samsung support website with the full documentation.
The only reason I don't give this 5 stars is that I wish it included an HDMI with eARC input so that I could fully control the sound bar with just my TV remote, instead this only has bluetooth and an optical input to connect to your TV and neither of these options allow you to control the sound bar from the television. The best option I have found is to set the sound bar at about 20 and then using the bluetooth connection to my TV I can control the output volume on the TV to adjust the volume, I still have to use the sound bar remote to power on and off the sound bar, since I don't like to leave it in stand by, but this is fine for me with the available inputs on this sound bar.
I do like that there is a usb input on the sound bar so you can hook up and use either a thumb drive or hard drive to play media straight off a usb device. So if you have a bunch of albums on a usb device you can plug it straight into this sound bar and play directly off of the usb drive which is really cool in my opinion.

The Skullcandy earbuds are an overall great product, while the sound isn't the greatest, it is customizable and everything else is just great overall. These aren't the best of the best by any means but for a budget pair of earbuds they fit well, pair consistently, have a great range, and the battery lasts for a super long time, which is just great at this price point. You would be hard pressed to find a better pair of earbuds at such a great value.
I have used these in place of an older pair of fruit branded earbuds that I have had for years and the Skullcandy earbuds seem to pair more easily and quickly than my other earbuds and they fit better in my ear making it a much more comfortable experience. Like I've said the sound isn't as great as some other options, but these also don't cost an arm and a leg, and many of the other features have worked better on these than alternatives that I have tried. The battery life has been great with several hours of use and relatively quick charging, I typically use one earbud at a time while charging the other which extends my use of them throughout the workday. I've been really happy with these earbuds and I plan on continuing to use them for work as they are really comfortable and last such a long time.

The Hyper DUO Pro 7-in-2 USB-C Hub is an excellent choice for anyone who owns a 2016-2022 MacBook Pro or Air and is looking for a great hub. The Duo Pro comes in space-grey so it matches the look of the MacBook Pro and it fits directly into the Thunderbolt ports on the side of the MacBook which makes it look as though it was meant to go with the MacBook. I really appreciate that the look and the style match the MacBook and the fit and finish of the product is really great.
This hub uses the newer USB4 standard which is fully compatible with ThunderBolt4 and allows this hub to provide full 40Gbps, 100W power delivery, or up to 6K 60Hz video on the USB4 port and still have full speed and capability on the additional 6 ports. I like that the ethernet port is full Gigabit and it latches open to keep the slim profile of the hub matching with the look of the MacBook.
Due to the way this sits on the side of the MacBook, with the plastic adaptor that also provides a magnetic grip to the MacBook itself, the lid of your MacBook may or may not be able to fully close as some others have reported on this hub. But, I think personally this is fine as I don't feel that it is really wise to travel around with this hub still attached to the side of your MacBook. it uses the 2 ThunderBolt ports and the plastic adaptor to stay attached to your laptop and trying to jam this and your MacBook into a bag or to walk around with it still attached for long distances just seems like a bad idea to me in the first place, so the fact that it doesn't allow the MacBook lid to close fully is fine in my book.

Excellent tools for beginners who want to edit!

Adobe's Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements for the 2023 year is an excellent tool for anyone who wants to quickly and easily edit their photos or videos and for anyone who doesn't like Adobe's Creative Cloud payment options. There are a lot of great tools included in both of these versions that will help people create pictures or videos that look like a professional edited them and most of those tools have a guided walkthrough or tips on how to use them, making it incredibly easy to use some really powerful tools. The interface is a bit dated and of course it doesn't feature all of the nice to have tools that Photoshop and Premiere feature, but I think overall this is a much better product for someone who is new or knows what they want. I have a harder time using the full versions of Premiere and Photoshop just because their is so much there and if you have no idea what you are doing it can be a bit overwhelming, whereas the Elements versions of Premiere and Photoshop have a lot of great tools and walkthroughs to help you use them effectively.
I think this is a great bundle for anyone who only infrequently edits photo and videos or for someone who only needs the basic tools (not basic at all imo) and doesn't need all the additional bloat that comes with the full versions of these. Also, as I mentioned, this is great for anyone who doesn't want to deal with the Creative Cloud subscription and would rather just own their software outright. If you are interested in getting started with photo/video editing, or if you know that these have the tools that you need I would fully recommend the Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Elements bundle if you need/want both, if you only need one or the other these are also sold individually.

What is the current standard for secured WI-FI?
I am interested in putting together a wireless network. I understand that WPA, WEP, WEP2, and TKIP have been compromised. What is the current standard for secured WI-FI?
WPA and WPA2 are still the most used security standards used and as long as you are not using a weak short password and instead use a longer more secure password (letters, numbers, and symbols), it is still a very secure standard. However, on routers that have WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) enabled, it can be used as a backdoor into your network through brute force. On most routers this is easily disabled, and in my opinion unnecessary on your own home network, but on other routers it is unable to be disabled leaving a way for your network to be hacked into. As with all security it is impossible to create a system that will not at some point be circumvented with enough time and patience, however for networking security standards WPA is still the best and safest option due to the enormous amount of time and effort involved with actually hacking into it if a good password is used.
As a note if you have any devices using WEP replace them as soon as possible since it is a matter of minutes to hack into devices using that method of security.
