Sleek and Slim Lines

Setup of this laptop was very simple and straight forward. From an aesthetic standpoint, I really appreciate the slim lines and "low profile". Of course, Also, the machine is lightweight and easily transportable in a backpack, purse, or even a large purse. This unit literally runs in a low profile mode since it is silent with its solid state components.
I personally like the 2 in 1 feature so that it can be used either as a laptop or a tablet and the touch screen feature is easily executable. It would have been nice to have Dell include a pen for this 2 in 1 because some manufacturers do include that as part of the package. I am not a gamer so I cannot evaluate the speed meant for that functions. However, the screen resolution is high and defined, crystal clear. Since I am a CPA by trade, it would have been a nice design item to have a 10 key pad since there is plenty of room for it, but only a CPA would think in those terms.
I have read the negative reviews for this unit on Best Buy's website. I received this machine about 5 months ago, but since I have other numerous desktop devices because of my profession, this laptop is not a day to day device for me, rather it is when I go on vacation and need something mobile, but bigger than a smartphone to load pictures on, keep up with email, and use the internet.

Stunningly Beautiful and Useful

I did not realize the wonderful goodies that were meticulously,

Since this is titled as the space saving cookware, the first thing that I did after unpacking the many layers of pans packed in the big and heavy box, I re-stacked the pans and their lids to that are pictured with this review. After that, I put one of the frying pans on a gas burner at medium to medium-high temperature to see if the pan's handle or the lid used to cover that pan would get hot with the gas going. I left the pan on the burner near 5 minutes and the riveted handles were cool to the touch which makes them so useful and handy, states that the stainless steel handles are stay cool while cooking. .
So, we have a gas cooktop, but writing on the box states that these pans are good for gas, electric, and glass top stoves- note that induction is not mentioned. Bottom line, it is fun to cook with these stunning pots and pan. Just a side note, I also have a pot rack hanging centered over my island and from an aesthetic point of view, the look with these pans is professional and dramatic. Although the box says that metallic utensils can be used with this non-stick surface, in an effort to be careful, I did not try using metal utensils; I am using both wood, plastic, and rubber all successfully.
I only got this cookware within the last week and so I have not had enough time or use to determine how they will hold up over time, heat, and use. The handles are riveted on so I do not think that will ever be an issue. However, I wonder how the outside and underneath side of the pans will wear as they might start oxidizing from the carbon thrown off by the gas heat at high temps and force. That is what I do not know now at this early junction. Although I have not put them in the oven yet, per the box, they are safe in there up to temps of 450 degrees.
The pan heats thoroughly and evenly. Give it a chance

Easy Setup and Good Router

So, I am capable of reading instructions well and applying tech principles in usage. However, I am not a tech guru. I have a large 2 story home with a basement and had previously been using an older Linksys router and a Velop system. In all honesty, I would have trouble, from time to time, connecting and maintaining Wi-Fi connectivity in certain areas of the home. I would often have to wait to connect my HP laptop/tablet in the far west corner of my 2nd story.
The setup was easy, just follow the Setup Guide. If you have not done so already, download the Linksys app, disconnect the old, plug in the new, and then connect. As a matter of fact, there was a postcard sized paper with a toll free number that is operational 7 days a week from 8 am to 8 pm PST to help with any assistance; I wonder if this will remain open once the early release period has abated.
I love that in my case, they included an additional Mesh Wi-Fi extender that is the white rectangular box featured on the left side of the attached photo. I put this mesh (repeater) in my home office located at the far west side of the 2nd story. Just plug this box into a power source and then install the additional Mesh Wi-Fi extender as prompted by the app.
I do pay a higher monthly fee for more bandwidth with my internet provider. Bottom line, I want to be able to run all my wireless devices and not have them stop and stall. I have only had this working for a short time so I cannot vouch for long term use, but so far so good.

Love Shark Vacuums

I love Shark vacuums. This Shark Ion Duo Clean F80 is no exception. What I love most is its ability to effectively pick up dirt while being cordless. The unit comes with 2 batteries so that it can be used, non-stop, for up to 80 minutes-40 minutes each. The unit also comes with the battery, power pack, charger, an 8: crevice tool, and an upholstery tool.. It is simply a very lightweight and easily moveable and portable machine.
I wanted to pass along a way to use this machine in an interesting configuration. I saw a Shark rep on QVC this past weekend detach the hand-held top vacuum motor from the long pole and directly plug it into the bottom duo clean head to use for stair vacuuming application. I never realized that this was possible, but it makes vacuuming the stair tread, the riser, and the curve around where the riser and the tread meet so much easier vs. doing it in the elongated position.
I have included pictures of this vacuum in its compact storage position and also in its flexible reach position which allows the user to really be efficient, not have to move many pieces of furniture, and get under low profile furniture.
I think this is a great tool in your arsenal to keep your carpets and hard surface floors clean

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

The Brother ADS-1700W arrived on a very timely basis and the manufacturer securely packs the machine against damage from either the day to day trivial bumping to the catastrophic dropping by either shipper or warehouse worker.
The good-this scanning machine is very lightweight and easy to transport from area to area, if need be. It essentially folds into itself with a cover that closes over the machine and its LCD screen. It is so ergonomic that it is quite easy to use only one hand to open, close, position the paper, and scan. On the left side of the top of the scanner there are two icons to set up scanning through, either the back doc feeder or the front for smaller items such as credit cards, business cards, driver's licenses, medial id cards, etc.. The back doc feeder has what I call "rabbit ears" that easily go up and then fold back into the machine to guide longer papers.
The bad-Brother wanted to get this scanner out so quickly that according to their 1-800 customer service technician, had not yet issued directions to diagnose and help fix items. I think this customer service call center is offshore, but I was still able to understand him. He did not try to help by going into my computer remotely. I was having trouble getting my computer to, by Wi-Fi, recognize the scanner. We reloaded their scanning software and eventually got it to recognize the scanner. The machine is quick in scanning, but unfortunately, I could only initiate the scan from the computer and could not get it to scan using the commands from the scanner's LCD screen itself. We never did resolve that issue and that is troublesome to me;.the technician could not 100% determine why this was going on-whether it was a firewall or something else.
The ugly was that within days of loading this scanner onto my computer, I determined that my software used to scan with my Fujitsu FI-7160 no loner worked. Thankfully, Fujitsu also allows their customers to also use their 1-800 customer service for free for life, too. Their technician wound up going in remotely and about 3 1/2 hours later, after much checking and re-checking, we found a corrupt file that both the Brother and Fujitsu. It was very time consuming to find this file and neutralize it. That was a real bummer. I plan to load this scanner to another computer that does not interact with the Fujitsu scanner. I am not a coder or programmer and should not have to be one in order for this to properly operate. While I cannot prove that the download from Brother created a corrupt file that caused all those problems for the Fujitsu, it is too coincidental that the Fujitsu scanning operation that I have used for almost 2 years all of a sudden did not work.
Honestly, I do not know what to think. If this had not happened, I would have thought that the Brother ADS-1700W scanner was just fine. Confused in Kansas.

Small and Cute With A Great Sound

The Sony-SRS-XB01 portable speaker has good sound with a very nice price tag, MSRP of $34.99. This small, black unit that is all of 3 inches long (east to west), 2 inches deep (back to front), and 2 inches high is easy to transport because it is so light, small, and comes with a wristband that is attachable to the right side of the speaker by the compartment where the USB charging cord and/or the headphone jack are.
After charging it for awhile, until the light turns blue, the speaker starts, once turned on, starts looking to pair with a device once the Bluetooth button is pressed on the control panel located on top of the speaker. I initially used this with my Android smartphone to play music. Easy Peasy to link and the battery charge maintains itself for a long time. This speaker can work with any Bluetooth device.
Not once did the speaker drop the signal with my device and played my music for hours, uninterrupted. I really enjoyed the songs that were played and I also loved that it took very little effort to accomplish this.
Much better sound than my small HP speakers that I have plugged into my desktop. I would definitely recommend this item.

Very Nice

Like other reviews posted, I too found the packaging of the HP - 27f 27" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor in Natural Silver well-done and in great shape, and the setup was effortless because only the monitor's stand needed to be attached. The only items that accompanied the monitor in the box were the stand, carefully wrapped to prevent damage, an HDMI cable, the power source, and a quick setup guide.
The design is very sleek from an aesthetics standpoint and it does have both HDMI and VGA ports on the back of the screen which allows it to be used on both old and new computers that may or may not have HDMI ports. So, since I initially attached this monitor to an older computer, I needed VGA cables to make the connection and unfortunately, those were not included. While that is not a deal breaker in any way, it would have been nice to have both type of cables included since HP does not know what type of monitor ports are on the computer being attached.
The connection is seamless and easy to make. The picture is beautiful and the screen resolution is crisp and clear. I like that the monitor screen is wide enough so that it is easy to minimize a few screens and line them up next to each other so that I can simultaneously be working on various tasks.
The matte finish on the monitor is a great anti-glare feature since the lighting in my office is overhead fluorescent back from the 1980's. I am a CPA and tax season hours can create huge eye strain.. I also like that it is easy to get a good view from the sides without distortions, in case you get up, but still want to reference the data on the screen.
All the setting controls are on the far right side, underneath, of the screen. I did go onto HP's website and download their more in depth user guide, which informs you about all the various settings that are available.

Good but Not Great

These headphones arrived in great shape. They were very easy to setup right out of the box and like most other electronic-oriented products, come with a fairly detailed quick setup guide.
I must say that they are what I would call low profile because they are not massive or bulky in size, but rather quite light, comfortable and fit well on the head. In my opinion, not only is the sound experience important, but there must be satisfaction with the aesthetics and general ease when wearing them. If you would buy a great looking pair of shoes that pinched and hurt your feet they would stay in the closet, no matter how on trend they might be.
I believe that this headset would be great for beginning to mid level or hobby gamers, but advanced gamers would probably want the ability to control the game sound separately from the gamer to gamer volume.
I think that this does satisfy the spot between form and function and cost.

Very Nice Indeed

The printer arrived well packed and the machine, as well as the other related contents involved with its operation arrived unharmed.
Setup was easy. The "Inkvestment Tank" is different than other Officejet printer cartridges. This is a liquid-type ink in a cartridge-you receive 4 cartridges and must only shake, about 15 times, the black one before putting them in assigned slots. It takes a little bit more time for the printer to load the respective tanks with the contents.
After that, I loaded the DVD into my desktop's drive and let it essentially install itself so that this computer would talk to the printer. It connected, in my case by Wi-Fi, and effortlessly found the machine. I just let the setup proceed through its numerous steps, even allowing registration of the product. What I love about this case is that Brother will offer support for free for the life of the machine, whereas, HP only allows free support for 1 year after purchase. I hate that because if you are lucky to have your product last more than 1 year there are numerous times when something goes awry and we still need assistance. Does HP not think their product should last more than 1 year?
At any rate, my observations:
1. The 2.7 inch LCD screen is easy to read and follow directions if initiating a transaction through the printer itself.
2. I love that once you have hit print on the computer the turn around time for 1st page printing is fast and that the job is out in no time at all and all of this done quietly.
3. This printer has a slim. low-profile appearance and can easily be tucked away in a bookshelf, freeing up valuable real estate on my desk or other tables or work spaces adjacent to my desk that hold my Fujitsu 7160 scanner and my HP LaserJet printer. My LaserJet is black only print, since I run a CPA office, so this colored Officejet is a great addition to my arsenal of printing tools.
4. Scanning is easy and quick, but it would be unfair to compare it to a dedicated scanner like the Fujitsu 7160 that I mentioned above. However, if you do not have a scanner this is great and easy to use, whether initiating the scan feature from the computer or the printer itself. This is cloud print ready, able to print with mobile devices, Obviously, at this time I can account for how long the ink will last, the box says a 2 year amount, but I hope that Brother would not make claims that they could not deliver on. Best Buy has advertised on their website the high-yield color replacements, 3033XL priced at $23.49, but the box says the 3033 are good for 3000 pages while the 3035 the higher yield for 5000 pages. .

Enjoy hours of reliability and speed with this HP Pavilion desktop. Its AMD Ryzen 5 processor and 12GB of RAM let you accomplish multiple tasks at the same time, and its 1TB hard drive provides plenty of space for file storage. This HP Pavilion desktop comes with a wired keyboard and mouse for interacting with Windows 10 Home.

Pretty Good But Not Great

So, keep in mind that if you need lightening speed as a hard core gamer or maybe a coder, this is probably not the computer for you. For instance, I noticed that its boot up speed is not really fast, but the preloaded McAfee anti-virus may have something to do with this. It can be uninstalled and the use of Windows may be better.
However, if you are using this in the day to day business of life for light gaming, internet, email, small business, research and homework then everything is all good. I am a desktop user in my office and my home office and enjoy using a computer in this way since you can attach a nice big monitor or multiple monitors.
I love that this HP model has kept some of the oldie but goodie desktop favorites: the internal DVD/CD- rom player (drive), and multiple USB and various-sized SD Card reader ports on the front of the machine for ease and comfort of the user.
Also, this is a slim line version of a desktop and is so easy to put under or even on top of a desk or work surface. Not so great was the inclusion of the wired mouse and keyboard. Now I know that was not part of the deal, but really HP who uses wired anymore when wireless is so much easier, kind of a waste since I noticed most reviewers immediately replaced those items.
More pros- only 5 to 10 minutes to set up with the quick setup guide that was included.
