Fast load times with smoother frames

The Crucial Pro is a pretty easy choice to make for those looking to upgrade their hardware all without breaking the bank. And while there are no pretty RGB lighting options, these two sticks are a powerhouse to be reckoned with. The crucial pro is a perfect choice and easy fit for anyone using PCie 4 or 5. And while i have not personally tested this on the gen 3s i have read that it will work on that board. The Crucial sticks are very easy to install and at 32 gigs combined between the two this allows for additional memory slots to be freed up. Read and write speed is amazingly fast at a stock clock speed of 3200mhz. This truly requires no overclocking as load times between scene is done within seconds rather than minutes. You can expect smoother and more importantly steadier frame rates while gaming high pace games. If your a gamer looking for a upgrade and truly don't care for looks then this is simply an easy buy as the speeds are more than enough for anything your going to throw at it. If your new to the PC building world and your wondering whats the difference between these sticks and a set of $300 ones, not much honestly. The more expensive sticks are going to have RGB lighting and offer slightly more overclock however at 32 gigs at 3200mhz there is nothing in the gaming world at this point that i can think that would require more power and speed. If you truly don't care about lighting and looks then do yourself a favor and buy these sticks of RAM. They will be able to easily handle AAA gaming with the right set up.

Your one and done gaming monitor

The HP Omen offers a stunning 34" curved display that is sure to please most gamers out there. However at the strong price point that this unit is coming in at the real question is rather or not its the correct buy for your gaming needs.
Out of the box you get everything you need to get you started. You get an adjustable stand and adjustable tilt base. You can adjust height and up/down tilt. The monitor does come with built in speakers but trust me when i say to you that it really is pointless having speakers built in to this monitor. Sound quality is garbage and to be quite honest they could of freed up some space by leaving that option out of the equation. Not a big deal for me personally as i game with a headset on anyways. The back of the display does also allow for a Vesa mount, which is the way went vs the provided stand. Keep in mind you will have to buy your own Vesa mounts. The HP OMEN monitor is going to offer you an array of color options along with some prep-set options as well. You can expect to find your standard adaptive sync controls to help limit frame rate as well as an option for full adjustment of your refresh rate. At the highest refresh rate setting and sync controls off, i was able to play Call of Duty at ultra settings with zero lag or ghosting all while maintaining a full 80 frames. One really cool feature this monitor offers is on screen countdown timers and stopwatches to assist with speed runs. This is actually the first time i seen this built in to a gaming monitor and to be quite honest i think its a really cool feature for those looking to set personal best timed runs. Now lets talk picture quality for a second. I was honestly a little curious as to how well picture quality would be displayed at its current 3440x1440 resolution. Resolution is outstanding to say the very least. Games like the Last of Us or Final Fantasy IV were absolutely stunning with bright greens and reds shinning through and blacks that were so true they looked natural against a night sky. MMO battles are stunning and vibrant all while maintaining a cool 160 refresh rate. This monitor was able to handle everything i threw at it without missing a beat. So this is really a no brainer, if your looking to buy a monitor that is going to give you some future proofing, then this is the way to go. Picture quality is superb however there are other monitors that offer the same quality at a lower price point, but with that being said what truly sets this unit apart from the others is its array of options that truly allow you to fine tune your settings based on your desired game play. Rather your looking for that fast action refresh rate adjustment for FPS or deep rich colors with a steady frame rate for you mmo people, this monitor is going to allow for both sides of the spectrum.
This monitor honestly is going to fit just about everyone's needs regardless of what they are. This may be the last monitor you need for a very long time.

The Asus Vivobook laptop is a well rounded piece that offers performance at a price friendly point. Rather your looking for on the go content creation or a 30 min run of Call of Duty for some down time, this piece is sure to fit the bill.
Specs for the build can easily be found on Best Buy's website so i'm going to jump right in to the real reason why you would want this laptop and that is performance. The Vivobook is a jack of all trades but master of none laptop designed for the on the go young Business person or Student. I say this due to what it offers at its price point. The AMD Ryzen 7 is definitely a step above the Ryzen 5 series which allows for ease of use to be able to handle all your content creative ideas that you wish to produce. This means while streaming rather it be for gaming, design or business content you can easily host with multiple windows open and multiple task on going. While face timing for a business meeting i had, the built in speakers offered great sound quality which made everyones vocals crystal clear and live streaming video offered great color and content allowing everyone to be easily distinguished. But where it really shined was when i had to present a live video content all while going through a power point style presentation at the same time. The Vivobook handled this all with easy at a nice steady 60 frames and load hovering around 40%. By the way the build in discreet forward facing web cam was a very nice feature to have. As far as hardware goes there is enough to do your day to day needs. 512 gigs of SSD storage means that start up is going to be very fast as well as load times however at 500 gigs of storage don't expect to be using this set up as a primary gaming station as memory will fill up fast. Now don't mistake what im saying, just cause this piece is not designed as a primary gaming set up does not mean it can not be used for gaming for some much needed down time. The 12 gigs of RAM along with the dedicated AMD Radeon means that playing titles like God of War or Call of Duty can be achieved at 50 frames on ultra all while looking very stunning on a 16 inch LED display. All in all this is a very well rounded laptop that is meant to fit your day to day life. The Vivobook does allow for additional upgrade to the Ram and SSD so if you wish to take it a step further with upgrades, this can be accomplished with a little bit of know how.

The Marshall Stanmore III is going to have most you feeling nostalgic while you think back to those garage door band days. And for those of you wanting to relive the past or those looking for a bit of nostalgia with a touch of modern day tech then this may be right up your alley.
The Stanmore III is a stationary bluetooth speaker that requires direct AC power. While it does require direct power itself, the speaker is still light weight enough to be easily moved from room to room. This speaker has all the trim and fittings you would expect to receive from a genuine Marshall speaker. On the top of the speaker you have the traditional throw style power switch which is accompanied by three turn dial knobs. One for bass, treble and volume. Your given a 3.5 mm jack for direct connection or you can use the provided RCA if your wanting to rock some vintage records. The speaker does offer a app which you can download however don't expect a whole lot of functionality from the app itself. The apps lackluster ability to give me a decent EQ to work with lead me to basically just use the dial knobs to adjust the sound to where i wanted it. Connection through a mobile device can be easily accomplished via the built in bluetooth. Now lets talk sound for a minute, after all that's what they are truly known for. The Stanmore III stays true to its original roots meaning the sound quality is superb to say the least. All the highs and lows came in great and while playing some of my favorite rock songs at almost near full volume there was very little distortion which most people wont notice. While switching over to some hip hop the bass came through like a power house. Which each hit of the bass speaker it sent trembles through the ground. The adjustment of the bass knob gave me easy access to tune it when the song genre changed. In all tradition of design this is forward facing speaker so placement is very key to achieving the sound quality you wish. If your looking for modern day design then you need to look else where as this speaker does not offer 360 sound or anything of that nature. Don't mistake what im saying though, sound quality is awesome but the speakers are true to their native roots.
So is it worth the price tag? In my opinion it is so very worth it. Sound quality is awesome and the design is flawless as it lends looks true to what you remember from your childhood. There are a few things to be aware of first before buying this. There is no built in battery so this will require constant power. It is not water proof (obliviously if its wired in) so this is going to make it primarily a indoor speaker. The app has nothing breakthrough to brag about and the speaker does not offer 360 sound. If you are looking for a speaker that sounds great and offers a somewhat true vintage style with little modern day tech then this is the right fit for you. If your looking for modern day software and tech features then your going to want to pass on this as you will find yourself disappointed.

Great entry level race wheel and pedal

The Thrustmaster offers you the opportunity to feel what its like to get behind a race car and feel that immersion from behind the screen. And while this may not fill the needs of all, it is sure to be a great set up for those on the fence about buying their first set up.
Out of the box you get everything you need to get you going. Set up is very straight forward and really requires very little effort. There are a few things to be aware of though. As far as Playstation 4 and 5 go its simply plug and play no other effort needed. On PC keep in mind the set up will not work unless you download the latest plugin, which will require to do some research of your own. Once the plug in is installed everything works flawlessly. Also be aware that unlike some other pedal set ups the base of these pedals does not offer any type of friction pad to prevent it from sliding across the floor. You will slide badly across hardwood and carpet will offer more friction. This base is very clearly meant to be installed on a race chassis and left on a floor. Keep this in mind incase you are planning to lay the pedals down on hardwood instead of mounting it. The wheel mounts very easily via a provided bolt and clamp set up and should easily mount up to a 3 inch platform. Now lets get in to the real reason why you wanna buy it and that's the immersion. The steering wheel has a built in motor which based on what game you are playing will offer multiple resistance or road feedback. Maxing out the settings seems the give the most realism. While playing Need for Speed Heat i remember i was pushing about 150 mph on a highway and as i came across a bridge where the bridge connects to solid ground there was a small dip in the ground. As a came across that junction point the wheel jerked a bit and the car felt a bit unstable for a quick second almost as you would expect it to feel in real life. The fact that the steering wheel had adequate pressure meant that i was able to apex my turns appropriately without over steering. The pedals have great resistance and personally feel better than the pedals in my personal vehicle. The transition from closed throttle to wide open throttle was very smooth and made holding a certain speed effortless. Never once did i experience any glitch or dropout of the pedal sensors. Drifting with these pedals was so much easier now that both the brake and accelerator could be easily feathered. There is no feedback in the pedals as in the steering wheel so keep in mind you wont really feel the road force in the pedals.
Here's my take away from this set up. If your looking to get in to racing games but not really sure your gonna like it, then this is the perfect set up to start with. Out of all the wheels Thrustmaster makes, this is the best priced one that wont break the bank and should leave you with very little buyers remorse. But not just that it is actually a very good set up that offers great feedback and handling. The steering wheel is a little too small for my taste but thats to be expected with this set up. Now with that being said if your a avid racer looking to buy in to a new set up i'd personally recommend something of a higher tier as this may disappoint a bit. But all in all this is a awesome buy just keep in mind the pedals will require some kind of mounting or proper placement

WHCH720N Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones

The Sony 720N offers superb sound quality with amazing comfort at a price that wont break the bank. The ANC features allow you to drain out unwanted background noise and submerse yourself with a nice Ebook, Podcast, or song.
The Sony wireless headphones offer everything you would expect to get from a wireless set up. Easy connectivity can be made through either the app or your techs bluetooth setting. The earcups are extremely comfortable and combined with the long battery life will help keep you in the mix for as long as possible. Speaking of which this headset offers about 48 hours of playlife with ANC off and Claims 35 hours with ANC on. The headphones offer quick charge time capablities, and while i didn't try out all different times what i can say is that on a battery with only 10% life left i charged the headset for 10 minutes and got 50% life back which would equate to roughly 40% in 10 minutes. The frame has a very durable design and flexes with such easy that not once was there any cracking or creaking noises which should help to give you more structural longevity. The built in mic means you can take phone calls or be a part of voice chat without having to grab your phone. Voice quality is very good and while the headset does do a decent job filtering out background noise you need not worry about back ground noise drowning out your voice unless its wind noise. Noise canceling on the Sony WHCH720N is probably some of the best out there. Noise pollution does not completely go away however it becomes so distant that once sound is played through your headset its as if it completely vanishes. Speaking of which sound quality on this headset is phenomal however where it really shines is through the app. The app has so many advance features to enhance your spatial audio or 360 sounds. What i will tell you is that out of the box the sound quality is ok, after downloading the app and adjusting my outputs quality greatly improved. And while some may not pick up on this, but once burn time (or break in) was achieved audio quality improved noticeably. For what this headset offers and the price point in comes in at, this is a easy buy

Keyboard for your PC and Smartphone?

The Logitech wireless keyboard is a awesome low profile on the go keyboard that allows connectivity via either Bluetooth or the provided wireless USB receiver. The added slot to hold your smartphone while typing is a great feature which adds to the illusion of having a monitor.
Out of the box you get everything you need to get you started, (batteries even included!). First thing i noticed was how incredibly paper thin the keyboard was. About roughly a 1/4" thick. This made me really wonder if my larger size hands were going to be able to comfortably type on this thing for work. At first go it did feel a little awkward and i did not like the initial feel of the key strokes, however after about 10 mins in to my daily routine the keyboard felt natural and as someone who can type about 60 words per minute, i never once struggled to find my position on the board. The low profile design also added to a more ergonomical position for my wrist. With the keyboard being so thin it allowed it to sit almost flush with the table giving my arms a straight and more natural position. After hours of typing my wrist still felt great and i was not needing to use any can of wrist support. Now a really cool feature that i liked about this keyboard is the smartphone holder which allows my smartphone to act almost like a monitor. While on the go there are times where i don't feel like pulling out my laptop to answer emails and yet at the same time i don't feel like using the clumsy keys on my smartphone to type out a long email. What's nice is i can simply open my emails up, place the phone on the holder and begin to type with ease. The Keyboard comes equipped also with two profiles so that you can switch between PC and Smartphone within a matter of seconds. The Bluetooth connectivity worked great and never once did i experience any lag or dropped connections. Every keystroke feels fluid and natural and gives the feel of being tethered by a wired connection still. There were no issues using the command keys as well when connected to PC. My only real complaint with this keyboard is there is no windows key and when it comes time to remove the tray to access the batteries putting the cover back can be a pain. Overall this is a great keyboard which offers versatility and comfort. The drain on your wrist is minimal and each key input is received as if you were wired in. Some things to keep in mind before buying this unit. There is no backlight or RGB, the keys are not mechanical. Other than that this is a great buy.

Printer without the hassle of cartridges

The HP smart tank printer eliminates the hassle of having to do with cartridge replacements on the regular basis and substitutes that with ink tanks. While the ink tanks offer a nice solution to an alternative method they do come with some offsets to be aware of. The HP smart tank has 4 refillable ink tanks which offer more printing jobs without the need of having to go out and buy new cartridges on a regular basis. The tanks do in fact offer a more noticeable difference in the way how much you can print exactly. I have a house of 3 teenage kids who use the printer daily. On a normal cartridge style set up we were having to replace the ink monthly which got costly and had me end up opting in to a ink subscription plan. I have owned ink tank printers before and can tell you that i personally have gotten up to 6 months before needing to refill the tanks. So yes the difference in how many jobs you can do is noticeable. And dont worry the ink quality is still very good. Pages come out vibrant with no breaks in the ink or runs. The ink is almost immediately dry to the touch. Now while this does sound great on paper there are some things to be aware of with this set up. Since you are not changing out ink cartridges this means that you are reusing the same ink jets over and over again. This makes the printer more susceptible to clogs and therefore requires more regular maintenance than a regular cartridge style printer. This is especially true if you are a person that prints rarely as in a couple times a month. As far as features go you get all the standard features you would expect to get with modern day printers now. You can download the HP app which allows you to access printer functions as well as print directly from your phone to your printer. WiFi capabilities means that your PC or Laptop no longer need to be connected via a cable to print but can rather all can be done through your local wifi.
All in all this is a good printer that really just requires more maintenance. If you dont print very often or don't feel like the added work of keeping up with a the added needs then just stay with a regular cartridge style. However if printing is done on a daily basis then this is the way to go for sure

Dash cam without all the bells and whistles

The Nextbase 320XR is a great set up for those looking to get a front and rear camera set up without breaking the bank. And while it does offer 1080p footage both off the front and rear camera there are some features that are lacking that have become industry standard now on newer dash cams.
Out of the box you get everything needed to help get you set up. And while you do have to route the cables don't let this detour you from buying it as set up is very easy and you are given the tools necessary. You will need a high speed SD card to store and record footage. Picture quality is great however there are few things to be aware of. During day time there is no glare from the sunlight however brighter colors tend to come in with a bit of saturation which can take away a bit from the quality of the image. Night driving is pretty decent with video footage still coming in at 1080 however headlight glare is a big problem and can cause issues. Imagine being in a hit and run and you cant read the license plate due to tail light glare blurring the view. Just something to be aware. Let's talk about some of the features you can expect to receive from this unit. There is a auto sleep mode feature where when the unit detects the vehicle has been shut off it will power down the cameras and go in to a sleep mode. The unit does offer a acurate G-Sensor where when it detects an impact (rather the unit is on or off) it will spring to life and start recording and lock video footage. Now with that being said there is no GPS or SOS feature so if the vehicle detects a collision it will not notify emergency services. To be quite honest this was disappointing to not see this feature implemented on its newest flagship considering that most dash cams nowadays offer this feature as a standard set up. All in all that's really about it. The unit is pretty basic in way of its features however the camera angles and picture quality is pretty solid with some minor color saturation issues and light glare during night driving. At its price point this makes it a decent buy however if you are looking for some added features including safety features in particular you may want to pass on this unit however if you are looking for a dual camera set up which isn't going to cause you to go bankrupt then this is the route you may want to take it. For me its a solid set up but its lack of advance features and minor picture issues (which will be minor to most people) make it a average unit for me. However this is still a solid unit that offers a good image and is sure to please those looking for a basic set up.

Smart Projector to rule them all

Epson is the king when it comes to home projectors. The new Epson 2350 offers some vast improvements over its previous predecessors. Rather your in the market to build your own theater room or maybe you want something to project the local sports game in the backyard for a Sunday cookout, this projector is almost guaranteed to meet any needs you have. With the added 3 chip lcd technology you can now game on this projector as well at 1080p at 120hz.
Out of the box the new Epson 2350 by all accounts appears to be the same design for the most part as its previous predecessors. The projector is light weight and can still be ceiling mounted if your looking to add the unit in a top feature design. What got me very excited about this unit were two things, 3 chip design for better picture and gaming quality, and the added Android smart TV feature. In the past i have owned several Epson projectors and while picture quality was always good you were always limited to how to watch and display movies. Most times i had to either hook up my PC or run a separate third party system such as a Firestick. It is such a breathe of fresh air knowing that the 2350 series now has a Android TV stick as part of the unit. This is a big plus as i feel most people, myself included are starting to get away from cable TV and are now turning to streaming services. You can now stream all your live sports and TV shows directly off the Android app as well as watch all your purchased movies. The new Epson 2350 does allow for 4k streaming at 60hz which combined with a proper black back drop offers Movie Theater like picture quality. Upgraded features have been added allowing you more angles of picture adjustment with vertical adjustments set at +/- 60°. What this does is allow for easier installation given the fact that you have more room for adjustment. Now lets talk briefly about the gaming aspect of this unit as this is something new i've personally have yet to see on a projector. Now yes technically speaking you can game on just about any projector however true gaming experience was always been garbage and input lag was always horrendous. This is were the 3 chip design in my opinion truly shined. Picture quality has vastly improved over all for gaming with colors coming in more vibrant than some TVs on the market. Oviously true blacks are still going to be lacking but the improvement overall to all your RGB colors has made video game immersion now more possible with a projector. You can game up to 500 inches making games such as Mario Kart with four friends alot more fun and entertaining as everyone pretty much gets there own individual big screen square. While input lag has drastically improved, fast pace games such as Call of Duty or Apex are still reaching times of about 20ms of input lag. While this is a vast improvement for sure in the gaming department, the input lag alone is still enough to detour me back to PC gaming.
Overall this unit is a big improvement over it previous predecessors, and while picture quality and screen brightness have improved, input lag does set this back a bit from being a primary gaming solution. However the added Android TV feature makes this a almost must have projector for summertime cookouts allowing you to stream live TV for all your sporting events and watch all your favorite movies outside under a well light moon on a dark night. And while the MSRP may be a little steep, considering all that you get from this series it is very well justified. What this really boils down to is what your plans are for this projector. If your looking to break away from the everyday power point presentation feature and are looking for something to liven up the back yard or if your in the market for a home movie theater room, then this unit is a must have. Epson builds quality, and that's something i can personally attest to.

How do the cameras attach to the house?
the outdoor cameras are attached via magnets to the base. The only item that requires 2 screws to mount is the base plate. Once the base plate is mounted then the cameras are attached and removed via magnets.

Do you have tonoay for monthly monitoring
you dont have to pay for a monthly subscription however keep in mind the free plan is very basic and i mean very basic. The free plan only allows for you to disarm and arm the system and allows the siren to go off if the alarm is triggered however they will not call the police and they will not allow for your video footage to be recorded. So it basically forces you in to a monthly plan but keep in mind there is no contract so you can cancel at any time.

does this camera system run on a 5g mhz speed wifi i have at&t fiber internet and my camera system that i have now BLINK only works off of 2.4 mhz speed .
Good question. On my Linksys it runs on the 2.4 band and as of right now there is no option on the Simplisafe app to move it over to the 5g band.

Can cameras be plugged into power while mounted to wall or do they have to be charged then put up. And pull down to charge when dead
So the wireless cameras can either be mounted wirelessly or hardwired in to a wall outlet. If you dont feel like charging the battery every month or so then you do have the option to wire them in as well. As far as charging goes the batteries are removable from the cameras so this way when it comes time to charge them you dont need to charge the whole camera unit just simply the battery pack.

What are the triggers like on this controller? Are they like normal Xbox controller triggers with a long pull or do they use any trigger stops for a shorter pull?
The triggers can not be adjusted as you would find on a Astro controller. As far as pull goes it feels very similar to a xbox trigger pull and has medium senisitivity. The pull is not short but does not feel long either. Most actions seem to activate after about pulling a 1/4 of a inch.

Can you use a wireless headset with this controller? It's a Turtle Beach stealth gen 2
No you can not as the there are only two ports, a usb-c port for connection and a 3.5mm port for audio cable hook up.
