Great sound Quality

The Audio Technica is a over the ear Bluetooth headset that holds back no punches when it comes to audio clarity and sound quality. Right out of the box the headphones look like they are built of good quality and contain a very sleek and stylish look. Along with the headset you are given a traveling pouch and micro usb cable. The one thing i found weird was the fact that they give you a usb cable to charge it but no power adapter to dock it to. So you end up having to charge the headset on your computer or use the same power adapter your cellphone uses if its a micro usb. It takes about 5 hours to fully charge the head set and so far i have gotten a little over 10 hours of battery life. Now this headset will allow you to hook up to any computer, laptop or mobile device. It also allows for hands free calling so you can accept calls and make calls all through your headset. Also there is a feature built in to the headset that allows you to pull up your personal A.I. assistant (i.e. siri or google assistant) on your cellphone all with the touch of a button on the headset. Linking the device is as simple as any bluetooth device and takes a matter of seconds. Also the headset allows for ease of linking via the NFC tethering capability. Basically if the device provides NFC, which most cellphones do, simply touch the two devices together and they will tether or link up. There is one feature i did not like however, and that is the pause/play button. The button you use to answer calls or pause/play your music seems to use a type of optical sensor that sits on the back of the left ear phone directly above the volume button. The sensor is flush with the headset making it harder to find when your wearing the headphones, but the real problem i ran across was that the sensor was so sensitive that when i would go to raise the volume on the headset my finger would accidentally brush the sensor and it would constantly stop or play my music. Also when i would get a call i would be stumbling around trying to find that sensor so i could pick up the phone call. Not a huge problem or even a big enough set back just more of a nuisance then anything. Now lets get to the sound quality. The quality is awesome, you can hear everything crystal clear and i mean everything. Now don't make the same mistake i did. When i first put the headset on i was not impressed with the quality or sound. Reason being is this headset is a quality built headset and requires you adjust the sound properly via an equalizer. Once i dialed in my equalizer i truly saw the capability of what these headsets can produce. I listen to all kinds of music but what i truly like is deep sounding bass. Now depending on the quality and type of equalizer you are using these headphones had no problem putting out deep rich bass sound without taking away from my vocals or my mids and highs. Truly when i was listening to my music it was so clean it almost sounded like i was listening to the same track for the very first time. I was a little worried about sound quality and drop offs with this being a bluetooth device but the audio processor that has been put in the headsets had no problem or issues whatsoever. The Audio Technica also does an awesome job keeping out outside noises so that you can truly enjoy your sound quality. Now as far as how you want to use them you should have no problem using them in any workout routines rather it be cycling, running, weight lifting or even doing sit ups. These headsets fit firmly on your head without taking away from any comfort. All in all this headset is a no brainer for me. It provides everything your going to want and need from a good quality headset.

Easy maintenance

This is a wet/dry trimmer that allows for usage either in a dry condition or wet condition i.e. the shower. Dont get this mistaken for an electric shaver, this is a beard trimmer and while it will not give you a skin close shave it gets very close to it. Right out of the box this your basic trimmer. It comes with a detectable adapter and has 10 different trim settings. The one thing i did not like was the charger. It mounts directly to the electrical outlet instead of being corded with a seperate base. The reason i have an issue with this is due to the fact that when you go to mount the trimmer in the charger it requires a bit of effort to snap it in to place and to pull it back out. It almost feels like im going to break the charger or wall socket due to the force needed to mount and unmount the trimmer. Maintenance on the trimmer however is very quick and easy and requires no tools. You simple push the bottom part of the blade off with your thumbs and you can expose the inner blades and cavity. Since this is a wet trimmer everything inside is sealed so all you have to do is rinse out with water snap everything back together and your all set. Literally takes less then a minute to clean. This is a good trimmer that provides quick, easy maintenance that allows you to use in the shower.

Right off the bat this blow dryer definitely looks like a salon style dryer however it performs on a very average scale with no noticeable difference that sets it apart from an average low end dryer. First off out of the box you get 3 attachments with one of them being a diffuser. There are only 2 speed settings and 3 heat settings. Well the blower dryer does the obivious which is dry out your hair it fails to live up to some of its promises. One of the promises is faster drying with fuller, more volume hair. I gave this to my daughters and wife to try out seeing as how my hair isn't long enough to actually test that statement. The drying speed actually took longer then some of our lower end blower dryers and didnt even come close to produce the same amount of volume. The only good note i found was that even at its highest heat setting the heat wasn't that hot. The reason i say this is a good thing is due to the fact that you are less likely to damage your hair. Im assuming this is also where the promise of fuller hair comes from. Its probably due to the fact that at the hottest setting you won't scorch your hair. All in all this comes down to personal preference and style. Not every individuals hair is the same therefore you may not have the same results. However salon style dryers usually come with a salon style price and for me this dryer just doesn't seem to fit the bill.

Great home wi-fi for families

The Ally Plus, is this the right fit for your home? Lets talk about some of the pros and cons and help figure out if this will be the right move for your home. Right out of the box you will receive two units, the actual wireless router and the second unit will serve as an extender. These units come backed by AVG protection from malware and other suspicious activity. Set up on this unit is actually quite easy and doesn't require you to be too tech savvy. Since the extender is already equipped with software built in to recognize its companion router there is no additional programming necessary. Simply follow the step by step instructions and set up should be done within a matter of 5 to 10 minutes. Without getting too technical on the specs the router is set up to be able to handle high speed gaming and 4K streaming on multiple devices in a home with approximately anywhere to 2,000 to 5,000 sq. ft. I myself live in a home that is 3,000 sq. ft. with multiple levels and drop outs can usually be a concern, the Ally Plus had no issue covering my entire home and property for that matter including coverage of my back and front yard. One issue i noticed almost immediately after using the WiFi system was the lack of a dedicated third band which allows for backhaul. What this means in a simplistic tone is that the extender in a sense will act like the middle man for anyone trying to connect to the internet. For example, lets say the router is connected to your second floor office and your extender is on the main level and you are in your basement on your laptop surfing the web. Due to the large gap you will obviously be tapped into the extender since it is the closest to you, however anyone tapped in to the extender will have reduced speed and performance. The reason being is because the extender will pick up what site you want to go to, then relay it the main router, which then sends the signal to the internet telling it where you want to go then sends all the information back the same way. This can create lag at times and reduce performance up to almost 50 percent for any users that are bouncing information off the extender. Don't let this detour you though, because where this unit really shines is in its ability to provide safe and well managed internet streaming for a family that has young ones. The unit allows for an optional app download which helps you manage your WiFi settings, and i highly recommend using the app. In order to use the app service you need to sign up for an AVG account due to the fact that it is protected by AVG and there services. Once you have set up your app and you are connected to your WiFi settings there are countless options available at your disposal. First off you can see if any unwanted guest has gotten into your WiFi, maybe a neighbor? You can block groups or device from visiting certain websites or categories you may deem unappropriated. You can even monitor what websites devices in your home have visited during a set period that you appoint. You can even pause the internet for certain devices both manually or you can even set up a schedule. For example lets say you set up the WiFi to pause the internet for 3 hours after your kids get home from school allowing them to focus on homework before they are allowed to surf the web. After the set time has been met the internet will resume allowing said devices to gain internet access. These were the features i was actually very impressed with. All in all if you are single or married without kids you may want to get something a little stronger but if you have multiple members in your home all ranging in different ages then this device is a must.

Good Bluetooth speaker with some setbacks.

The Bose Revolve bluetooth wireless speaker is a unique design with some minor setbacks that i was not expecting to see from a Bose line. Lets talk about the ins and outs. First off out of the box the speaker is shaped a lot like a lantern but maintains a nice sleek design. Out of the box you are provided a charging cable which is a standard usb micro cable that you find on just about everything out there today, including cell phones. I highly recommend the charging dock due to the location of the actual port to plug in the charging cable on the Bose speaker. The port sits directly at the bottom and is kind of in a weird position which could make connection difficult and may even lead to damage. Pairing is easy and is done in a matter of seconds. Charge time on a dead battery took about a little over a hour for me which was not bad at all. Lets talk about the sound quality, after all that is what Bose is known for and probably why you would want to go with one. The Bluetooth speaker is a 360 speaker offering sound at all angles. I will say this is done quite well and you truly do get the effect of sound at all angles. Upon powering it up i immediately played some tunes to see how the sound was. I have to say i was a little disappointed. The sound was good and was not terrible by any means, but i own a few other Bose products along with a few other competitor bluetooth speakers that i got at a much cheaper price. I can honestly say that while the sound was not terrible my lesser brand speakers out performed the Bose Revolve. The sound was clear and i could pick up very easily on my lows and mids. The bass however was lacking. If you are a big fan of bass and hard hitting sounds you may be disappointed. Bose offers an app with there products including the Revolve. However the app really doesn't provide much, in fact it acts more like a music player allowing you to see the music you are playing and move on to the next track. The part that was disappointing was the fact that at this current time of writing this, there is no built in equalizer in the app to adjust sound preference. One way you can get around this that i found was to play your music off an app other than the Bose app that has a built in equalizer into the actual music player app. This a Bose and i did want to see how it would perform so i took the speaker into my work place which happens to be a large Automotive shop. I will say this, Bose really does perform in the way of 360 sound. The quality sounded good no matter if i was standing right in front of it or all the way at the end of the shop. I could hear perfectly all the lyrics and sound. The battery life lasted a full 8 hours, not too bad for being a wireless speaker. Speaking of which that is another key feature i did like and that is the fact that it sounds good and is wireless. If you are entertaining guest or are having a BBQ you can simply place this speaker wherever you like without the hassle of cords. Another nice feature that this speaker has that my wife actually pointed out to me was that you can receive calls and talk hands free directly through the speaker. So lets say your in the kitchen cooking dinner listening to some tunes and all of a sudden you get a phone call. Well if the speaker is paired to your cellphone all you have to do is simply press the button to answer on the Bose speaker and you can talk directly hands free via a built in mic directly on top of the speaker. Now you go back to cooking while talking hands free to whoever may be on the other line. All in all this really is a good speaker and for me the two main reasons for the 3 star score is lack of a built in equalizer and the fact that i was not blown away by the sound quality. Like i said its not bad sound quality at all its just not what i was expecting from a Bose product. While also writing this review there is no set price yet for this product that would also effect the rating too. If the price for this speaker is in range of its lower end competitors then i would give it a 4 or 5 star rating.

easy to use

This charging cradle is pretty much a no brainer. It makes charging so much easier due to the fact that all you need to do is simply set the bose revolve on top of it. Charging speed on a dead battery took about an hour which was not bad at all. The dock looks similar to Samsungs quick charge where you simply place your phone over the pad and it charges, however that is not the case with the bose dock. It actually has gold platted tabs on both the dock and bose speaker that need to mate. Mating is done very easily and there were never any charging issues. Half the time i just threw it on there and it always mated perfectly.

phenomenal stick vacuum

The Dyson v8 animal is a step up from the v6 model with some slight upgrades. This vacuum is a must for anyone who owns pets or even a business that may deal with pet grooming. Lets figure out if this is the right set up for your everyday needs. First off this is a stick style set up which also comes with a few attachments and easily breaks down for those hard to reach places and for ease of cleaning. Right out of the box comes everything you need to get your set up going. This product is designed to mount to the wall and comes equipped with only one battery pack. 5 hours of charge time is recommend before you start and Dyson claims about 45 minutes of run time. At first that's kinda of a hefty charge time for such a short amount of run time but Dyson claims that's adequate time for an average size house. On a personal level i own a 3500 sq. ft. house and i can honestly say the amount of time was more then enough and i never ran into any real issues. The main reason this is adequate is due to the fact that you have a pistol grip handle with a trigger on/off button so no constant run time, and you also are given a MAX button on top of the vacuum head for those stubborn pet hairs or deeply rooted food particles. Believe me when i say there is definitely a huge difference in suction power when you hit the MAX button. Not only does the sound increase but it will actually lift the carpet up so caution is necessary for those more expensive carpeted floors. I want to talk about something technical for a minute. The Dyson uses a direct drive set up for the head which is a feature that allows quality and suction power. So what does this mean exactly? Well on my cheaper vacuum cleaners that i own they are belt driven. Basically what this means is over time the belt will wear down and start to become loose similar to a Tee shirt that gets pulled on. What happens is as the belt becomes loose tension is lost and therefore suction power is lost with it. This means you can no longer dive deep into the carpet to grab debris that has rested deep in the base. Dyson eliminates this by using a direct drive set up. Basically all you need to know is there is no belt drive because it uses geared teeth meshing with other geared teeth similar to the cogs of a clock. Anyways what this means is your suction power should stay constant through the life of the vacuum spelling quality and power for years to come. I have two long hair dogs and the vacuum had no issue pulling up dog hair. But i wanted to really see was how this would stand up against a stress test. I have a friend who owns a dog grooming place so i spent the day there and allowed them to use the vacuum with all the attachments given to see how well it would perform and how long before the vacuum would die. First off the the attachments helped break down the vacuum and make it smaller and more portable to make it a lot easier to clean the dog kennels. One thing i noticed right away is how easily it cleans on hard surfaces. Not once did i need to use the MAX button. I did start to notice some minor set backs, although nothing too off putting i did notice the bag would need quite a bit of emptying, since it is portable it does not offer much in the place of waste storage. Now this is a bag-less set up so it was not much of a big deal. Simple hold the canister over the trash, release the trap door and bam your all ready to go. It emptied all the dog hair quite easily without me having to stick my hand in there and pull out any excess hair that did not empty out. Another thing i noticed was that by the end of the day the brushes were beginning to get some of the longer dog hair stuck on the brushes. Now this is designed for animals so it was a minimal amount, but luckily Dyson kept this in mind and allowed for a very easily removable brush head so you can wash it out. Simply turn the side slotted screw and the head comes out for ease of cleaning. Also one thing i forgot to mention but is pretty much a given is that since this is meant for animal hair the vacuum does come equipped with a hepa filter helping to eliminate those pet and dander allergies. Over all the vacuum held up better then i expected and battery life didn't run out till almost closing time which was a 10 hour day. 45 minutes of run time did not seem to be as big of an issue as i was expecting. All in all this is a truly impressive cordless stick style vacuum that can be used from everyday household cleaning all the way down to vacuuming out your personal vehicle from any dirt or hair you have acquired. At the end of the day the only few complaints i have is the small waste storage and 45 min run time. However this is not enough to take away from its awesome performance and mobility. If you do not own any pets then i would suggest maybe going with the v6 series but if you own at least one long haired animal then this is a must. You are going to want suction power that will last for years to come.

good workout headphones

The Under Armour heart rate wireless earbuds is definitely a unique set up and the first in ear heart rate monitor i have ever tried. So lets talk about some of the features that set it apart. First off not too much differs from most wireless around the neck style earbuds. The UA ear buds come with various bud inserts to fit all ear sizes. The control tab allows for call answering, volume control and the ability to skip tracks. UA claims about 5 hours on a full charge which in my opinion is pretty low. I got roughly a little over 5 hours of use, but that was with limited heart rate playback and medium volume settings. The sound quality coming out of the earbuds is decent. After all these are JBL headsets so you should expect clear and crisp audio which is exactly what it delivers. The bass quality was average, I personally have other ear buds with better sounding bass so if bass is what your after don't expect this headset to blow you out of the water. It's not terrible by any means it's just not jaw dropping. Now one of the features that makes this style unique is the twist in locking function of the headset. Simply rotate the ear buds backwards and they twist lock in to place making jogging or running worry free without the hassle of them falling out. Believe me, when they twist in to place they definitely feel more secure then any earbud i have worn. Now where this wireless headset really shines in my opinion is the heart rate and workout tracker. This earbud set up allows for your heart rate to be taken directly through the ear canal. I have to be honest, i was very skeptical as to how accurate this would actually be. I spend alot of time at the gym so while working out i had a chest rate monitor and a watch wrist monitor and compared all 3 of them together. During my workout i saw maybe only a 3 beat difference from my ear bud heart rate monitor compared to my other two heart rate monitors. Personally i found this pretty impressive and reliable enough to go off of. So how does it work? Actually its simple, while working out simply hold or press the button on the right ear bud and a voice will come through the headset telling you where your current heart rate is. This feature eliminates the need to look at your phone or any other monitor you may have. Now this does need to be linked up to your cell phone or other such bluetooth device you may use for fitness. Now if you don't have a workout program or you are new to fitness, Under Armour offers a free 12 month trial of their fitness software. While its not the best i've seen it is still very good and easy to use. It will track and record heart rate monitor, steps taken, distance traveled, calories burned and much more. Whats pretty cool is there is a feedback coach that will let you know when you have reached your peak performance and encourage you to keep pushing yourself. One thing i forgot to mention is this unit is sweat and moisture proof. Simply put its perfect for working out not so good for taking in the shower. Over all this is an awesome unit and a must for any avid runner or fitness buff. Though there are a few features i dislike it is not enough to detour me from recommend this product as a good buy.

Versatile Vacuum

This is a great mid grade level vacuum cleaner that actually does quite a bit and comes with a few options which make it versatile for just about any home. First off lets talk about some of the functions this shark comes with. One of the nice features i noticed on this set up is the ability to adjust suction level. Now there are only two adjustments which seems to be all it really needs. There is a Max and Min adjustment for suction power. The reason why i really like this feature is lets say someone spills something on your carpet and it soaks through to the baseboard, you can use the max suction to pull it up. And let me tell you this vacuum actually has decent power, it will lift some carpets up. Now lets say you have really nice carpets or an expensive area rug and you don't want to ruin or damage the material, this is where the low setting comes in to place. It will kick down or reduce the push pull feeling in turn reducing suction power to help eliminate lifting up and pulling away your carpet or area rug fibers. The vacuum comes with an option to clean hard wood floors. Simply move the switch over to hard wood flloors and the brush rollers will turn off giving you suction only making cleaning alot easier. The vacuum really shines with its lift away mode in which you can basically detach the caddy away from the roller head and extend the nozzle or neck while holding the suction bag in hand to be able to reach all those hard places. Why is this a good feature? Because you get to anything you need to. You can use this to clean the seat cushions and floors of your vehicle or get underneath the refrigerator base. You can get to areas that are really high like the top of your ceiling fan blades or crown molding. Really there is no restriction to what you can get to while in this mode. The one big set back i do have to say about this vacuum cleaner is that it really isn't that pet friendly. Although it does come with a hepa filter i don't think the vacuum can really handle long haired animals. I noticed the brushes would get tangled quite often with hair and i found myself using hardwood mode on my carpets simply to reduce the amount of hair that would tangle in the brushes. The vacuum comes with a bagless system that allows you to dump waste with the push of a button but with long haired animals i found that sometimes the hair would stick and would not dump out making me having to stick my hand in there and manually dumping the bag. Overall this is an awesome vacuum cleaner and you will not be disappointed.

Great sound but awkward design

The sony extra bass XB70BT is a around the neck wireless headset that offers sound pushing bass with HD voice quality for cell phone talk. Right out of the box one of the first noticeable thing was the quality of the band. The band that rest around your neck appears to be a flexible silicon base product. While this may seem ideal in the way of sturdiness this tends to be a nuisance for those seeking to do heavy workouts or running. The band has no rigidity so you are able to twist it and even lay it flat on the table in a straight line. Paring the device is easy and just takes a matter of seconds all you need is a device which offers Bluetooth, which basically covers almost any current product made now. I decided to take this product to the gym to see how the head set would hold up in some high intensity workouts. One of the first things i noticed was it did not rest around my neck in a position that allowed me to tuck it away under my collar line. In fact in my opinion it looked awkward and could not be easily displaced. As i began running i noticed the headset started to shift down to my left side making it even more awkward around my neck, i assume this was due to the fact that this side probably carried more weight and without the rigidity of a normal neckband there was really nothing there to stop if from sliding. Sony provides a clip that allows you to hold your earbud wires together and adjust there position but this did not help the situation too much as far as movement was concerned. As i began to sweat more i noticed the neck band became more unstable around my neck and slid around alot more easily. I did notice the earbuds did fit firmly in my ear canal and never once did i feel they were about to fall out. The ear buds come with three different sizes to fit all needs so you shouldn't have a problem fitting them. Aside from the awkward band lets talk about sound quality, after all that's what Sony is really known for. The sound quality was awesome. I am a big fan of products that can really push the bass out without taking away from vocals and my highs or mids. One of the biggest problems i have found with wireless headsets is there ability to put out some heavy hitting bass. Now while the more expensive over the ear style will do a better job, these headsets are definitely no push over. The sound quality significantly made up for the poor design. And while i wish the battery life would of been longer, 9 hours of battery life is more then adequate to enjoy some of the superb sound quality your songs will have to offer. At the end of the day this is a good headset for the price and the main reason for 3 stars is the weird silicon design for the band.

How do the cameras attach to the house?
the outdoor cameras are attached via magnets to the base. The only item that requires 2 screws to mount is the base plate. Once the base plate is mounted then the cameras are attached and removed via magnets.

Do you have tonoay for monthly monitoring
you dont have to pay for a monthly subscription however keep in mind the free plan is very basic and i mean very basic. The free plan only allows for you to disarm and arm the system and allows the siren to go off if the alarm is triggered however they will not call the police and they will not allow for your video footage to be recorded. So it basically forces you in to a monthly plan but keep in mind there is no contract so you can cancel at any time.

does this camera system run on a 5g mhz speed wifi i have at&t fiber internet and my camera system that i have now BLINK only works off of 2.4 mhz speed .
Good question. On my Linksys it runs on the 2.4 band and as of right now there is no option on the Simplisafe app to move it over to the 5g band.

Can cameras be plugged into power while mounted to wall or do they have to be charged then put up. And pull down to charge when dead
So the wireless cameras can either be mounted wirelessly or hardwired in to a wall outlet. If you dont feel like charging the battery every month or so then you do have the option to wire them in as well. As far as charging goes the batteries are removable from the cameras so this way when it comes time to charge them you dont need to charge the whole camera unit just simply the battery pack.

What are the triggers like on this controller? Are they like normal Xbox controller triggers with a long pull or do they use any trigger stops for a shorter pull?
The triggers can not be adjusted as you would find on a Astro controller. As far as pull goes it feels very similar to a xbox trigger pull and has medium senisitivity. The pull is not short but does not feel long either. Most actions seem to activate after about pulling a 1/4 of a inch.

Can you use a wireless headset with this controller? It's a Turtle Beach stealth gen 2
No you can not as the there are only two ports, a usb-c port for connection and a 3.5mm port for audio cable hook up.
