Another great Infinity figure!
As a whole, all the Jedi are fun to play with in Disney Infinity, and Obi-Wan is no different. Of all the characters made younger for the prequel trilogy and now part of the cartoons, Obi-Wan is perhaps the most interesting- seeing him as a young warrior as vs the older, wiser teacher from the movies I grew up with is great.
Once again, another greatly-posed, solid looking figure that's just as cool to display as it is to put on the Infinity Base to play the game with!

Love them!

My 3 year old and I love the Disney Infinity characters and games. I've just begun introducing him to the Star Wars movies, and he loves Chewbacca and Han Solo. Han has become a favorite of ours to play with- and he loves just playing with the figures even outside the video game.
And while all the figures are always well crafted and sturdy, Han has a classic pose, but I'd have to say that among them all, Han is probably bears the least resemblance to his real life actor... It's not a horrible likeness, but in comparison to the others, he's not quite as close in the face. Still, these aren't 1:1 representations, they're toys, and in that regards, he's still wonderful.

Another great Infinity figure that's not only fun in the game world (Baloo alternates between various fruit to throw as his attack,) but yet another wonderfully posed statue, as he boogies to "Bear Necessities". A new favorite!

Great expansion!

Love this one! Lots of races, race types, lots of fun to be had in the Speedway hub world, various piece unlocks- but, best of all, even my 3 year old just loves driving around in the hub world.
This is a fine addition to Infinity (despite its impending closure,) and one of only a couple themed expansions that allows you to use any figures in it from 1.0-3.0. Essentially, a kart racer featuring the Infinity cast, and while it may not be quite as extensive as some dedicated full-on kart games, as an expansion at its price point, it provides plenty of bang for your buck.
Pros: 3 race types (time trial (race solo,) classic race (first to win 3 laps in a field of six,) or combat racing (the typical kart race with power-ups along the track- think Mario Kart)).
3 "styles" or cc ratings for vehicles to race, adding replayability to the tracks.
Fun hub world- free "gas station" that adds boost so you don't have to manually drift. Free "tire shop" that upgrades your vehicle to monster truck tires to race with. Even trains can end up with monster tires- only ones that won't upgrade are the Motorcycles and hovering vehicles. Hub world has plenty of little tricks to pull off, appearing very much like a skate park, complete with rings to attempt to try and collect- it's own little mini-game.
Ability to play with ANY of the Infinity figures from any version. Very few (I believe this and Toy Box Takeover) allow you to cross-play with the various versions outside of the Infinity Toy Box. While this isn't a story as many would have loved to see, it's still nice not to have to think about what characters you can or can't use.
Cons: this is a mild con, but I would have liked to have seen more tracks- believe there's 6 or 8, with various hidden paths, but they're also not very large, bordering on "smaller map size in most kart racers". Not a deal-breaker at all, but it feels like it's "just enough" added to bring the Speedway to the public. A little more, even a touch more, would have made this incredible.
If you haven't unlocked many vehicles through your standard Toy Box or Play Set playing sessions, there's not a lot to choose from with the included vehicles. In fact, the 4 standard included are just 4 generic race cars with a different color. If you believe you'll be driving the Tron light cycle or a Landspeeder out of the box, you'll be disappointed; you'll need to go back and play some with the rest of the base game and play sets before you can do this.
As I said in the cons, there's times when it feels like there's only just enough in Speedway to have gotten it made- but, at the price point, it's hard to fault them too much. But, that does make it a touch sad, because what's here really is pretty fun- and if you have a little one that loves cars as much as mine does, it really made him happy- that's what matters more than my opinion, even if I always play with him. The added knowledge that Speedway is such a solid kart racer that, with success, could have been made larger and addressed some of the minor issues just won't happen now that Disney has cancelled Infinity just adds to the disappointment in playing a game that could have been even more fun with a Speedway 2.

I'm an older gamer (44, closer to 45 than I care to admit,) but have a 3 year old, who due to two serious eye issues, may never get the chance to play sports because of the chance of injury. While I'm teaching him to love sports, to enjoy drawing, I'm hoping he'll also take my passion for gaming, to see the technical wonders I won't, and learn to get excited for them as I have.
Disney's Infinity is a wonderful game, with an amazing experience that includes learning and building along with the gaming aspect. I chose this as our "toys to life" game to share right after he was born, believing that with Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars all backing it, it was a no-lose proposition. I was wrong with the announcement that the Infinity game and figures will cease after 2016, and I'm beyond disappointed. All 3 universes are timeless, and as a kid growing up with Star Wars & Marvel (I always hated Disney as a kid,) I had really hoped we would have this in common, these characters who have become modern-day myths. My disappointment in Disney's decision aside, the game will continue, minus new figures and DLC, and I know it will (or I hope) keep us busy for some time before he wants to move on from "toys to life"- too many, aside from Lego, are too current, beyond my generation, for me to become genuinely excited for with him.
This black suit Spidey is yet another fantastic character in the Disney Infinity lineup. Before there was Venom, Spidey came home from Secret Wars with a brand new black suit, and I gobbled up the comics, finally thinking Spidey was cool and on par with my favorite, the X-Men.
I cannot compare it to the regular Spidey they released years back, as that one is not part of our collection, but his powers align properly, and outside of suspected similar powers, I'd bet there's enough differences to still make it a worthwhile purchase. Example being that we have both Iron Man and Hulkbuster Iron Man, and while there's a few shared powers, they're different enough that I'm glad we own both.
Even if we didn't own the game itself, these toy statues are wonderfully crafted- I was originally hesitant on the art style, but once it grew on me, I've fallen in love with it. We have an entire display case for them for friends & family to see, they're so perfect, striking a balance between whimsy for the younger players, and respect/ cool factor for the older ones. Best of all, they're so sturdy, with very little exception (only visibly "challenged" ones, like the thin arms/ legs of Mike from Monsters, Inc.) that my 3 year old plays with them as action figures and has only ever "damaged" the aforementioned Mike... And even then, it was only Mike pulling free of his base, where pegs entered holes in his feet... A quick drop of superglue fixed it up immediately, with no real damage done.
If you own Infinity, it's a no-brainer to buy up what you can while its available. If you like Spidey, then you should already own it. Heck, just based on my found love of the art in these statues, they're worth it if you're just a fan of geek culture.

It's a heavy heart hearing Disney is shutting down Infinity production. I specifically chose Infinity as the "toy/game" game to invest in not long after my son was born as a way to hopefully work him into my pastime of gaming once he gets older, for a variety of reasons, mostly due to the long-term commitment to it that would seemingly be in Disney's favor, owning the rights to not only their history of characters, but that of Marvel and Star Wars, as well.
While it's a shame production will end, Boba Fett carries on the Disney craftsmanship of the toy itself- a style I never would have thought I'd like, but grew on me within our first characters. His in-game abilities & talent tree make him one of the best and more fun characters to play with; and that's not a sleight against any other Infinity characters... Even the most mundane of them have been given thought behind their abilities: they may not always accurately depict what we've seen in movies (mostly on the Disney lineup,) but they do reflect logical steps of what you can imagine the characters could accomplish.
The game itself will remain playable after production shuts down, it's just a shame that so many untapped characters will not be produced. My son and I love the charming craftsmanship put into even the more sinister of characters so much, we've even put our entire collection on display. In the meantime, while many will never be made, at least many of the fan favorites HAVE, including my favorite as a kid, Boba Fett!

Fun addition to Elder Scrolls series
on May 28, 2016
Posted by: doc8998
Verified Purchase:Yes
When Elder Scrolls Online launched, it was met with some mixed reviews- some enjoyed it, others didn't, and some fans of the series of single-player games wanted to like it, but just couldn't. Others, like myself, held off for quite some time as the developers worked with feedback from the rabid fan base to make ESO become the game people wanted.
And, I'm happy to report, with the changes they made, it's quite good! With the exception of ESO, all my previous Elder Scrolls experience has come from the PC- and, while I own every game in the series, (thanks to ESAnthology, which includes the original first 2 DOS-based games, plus all the add-on content for the games... Shameless plug for Best Buy sales; if you're a fan of the series and have not purchased this AMAZING box set, complete with every game, every official DLC, maps, and a gorgeous case, you're doing yourself a disservice by not checking to see if Best Buy has it in-stock, one of my MANY great purchases from my local BB... Just look it up AFTER this review, and a "helpful" vote! LOL!)
Back to ESO. While I'm a fan of the series, and of open-world games, as well as MMORPGs, I'll give you this caveat. I'm not part of the fan base that can tell you the entire myth of Elder Scrolls, and while I buy just about every open-world game that hits the market, I rarely finish them (ES series included,) at some point, it's just TOO much to do, and I need something fresh to play.
That said, I LOVE & have gotten to much of end-content (at least story-wise) from MMORPGs, mostly because I play those that friends join in on. WoW, Guild Wars, Guild Wars 2, etc., have always become addictions for some time now, BUT due to some health issues, gaming on the PC hasn't been happening. So, while I've been recovering over the past two years, I've been looking for my MMORPG fix on PS4. I began with the excellent The Division... But, it's updates began causing issues, so I picked up ESO on sale, and between my discount through the Gamer's Club and Reward Zone certificates, I paid a whopping $6. The original sale price of $20 would have been a bargain, but $6 was a steal!
Now, the game has been out for some time, so the downside is that a majority of players in the game are veterans, and have seen most of the game, so you'll be among the few "ground floor" players. But, the flipside to this is you aren't dealing with many of the updates they used to get the game where it is today.
One of my fears heading into ESO was how a game that's always been best played on a PC would translate to a PS4 controller. They managed to do it wonderfully, and it will make me consider playing any future games on the console.
While the mythology of ESO will be more familiar to those more "into" the games, it takes place long before the popular Oblivian, but I'd be hard-pressed to tell you that the world looks much different. The races and classes are all familiar, although the classes are limited (but malleable to fit your style, regardless of how you start). One of my favorite areas of the Elder Scrolls series has been how the classes can ultimately change based on how you play. Skills, spells, weapons all level based on your use of them. That favorite system remains in place in ESO.
In summary, if you've enjoyed the rest of the series, there's no reason to avoid ESO any longer. No monthly subscription, (although one is available that offers exclusive currency that can be used to purchase DLC and cosmetic items such as mounts... However, you can also buy these "crowns" in one-time buys should just one or two items catch your interest,) solid, familiar systems and gameplay, and an excellently ported control scheme that takes full advantage of the PS4 controller without it seeming like a second thought. Go visit Tamriel, you'll love it!

I love PS Plus. This generation of consoles pretty much require this subscription if you want to play online, and while I've been primarily a single player gamer on consoles up until this past year, PS+ drew me in when we got the PS4.
Having been home bound for awhile & lots more to come when the PS4 was purchased, (meaning no paycheck) I was also gifted some extra cash for two games. I chose, instead, to grab one game & get the PS+ membership, due to the 2 free games per month- and, considering I still own a PS3, that meant 4 games per month. (PS+ offers 2 games for each system; PS3, PS4, PS Vita- and sometimes, there's even unannounced freebies if you look hard enough).
This has offered me several things. Free games, online multiplayer, extra discounts on PS Store purchases. Now, while there haven't been many AAA titles offered on PS4, (outside of Injustice) they have offered some great games I NEVER would have given a chance to by purchasing outright, despite great reviews. Many came across as just not being "my type" of game, but turned out every bit as great as the reviews- Rocket League is perhaps the most shining example of all. I was far from the only one who wouldn't have purchased it (judged by online stories of PS+ members) and Sony gave it away free on its very first day available, turning it into an AMAZING success.
While lack of AAA freebies on PS4 can be disheartening at times, PS3 continues to get some huge titles, and while PS3's life cycle is over among major developers, the system itself still has plenty of life and fun left in it- shame on you if you traded yours in!
The only downside that detractors (and XBox fans) like to point out is that your "free games" aren't really free; and they're correct. The games will become unplayable if you let your subscription lapse- however, should you renew that subscription a year later, those games will return to working order. In that regard, it's best to think of the free games as unlimited rentals.
That said, for less than the cost of one brand new game, you would be better served, if it came down to it, to hold off on that game and renew the subscription, it's absolutely worth it.
I've pushed this towards 2 different friends who were purchasing PS4s, and one recently renewed, the other just purchased his, both enjoy the perks. If you don't have the membership yet, you're shorting yourself.

Tom Clancy's The Division is a revolutionary next-gen experience that brings the RPG into a modern military setting for the first time. In the wake of a devastating pandemic that sweeps through New York City, basic services fail one by one, and without access to food orwater, the city quickly descends into chaos. As an agent of The Division, you'll specialize, modify, and level up your gear, weapons, and skills to take back New York on your own terms.

The Division is a funny game to rate. I initially had no interest in this game, but as reviews began pouring in and I took notice of the story and gameplay, it piqued my interest to invest in the purchase.
What I found was beyond a pleasant surprise. The balance it has struck in an "MMORPG" style game, but with plenty to play solo is very well done. I had hoped a couple friends might also invest in The Division, but they haven't as of yet. But, here's the thing... Unless you're planning on entering "The Dark Zone" it's unnecessary to group up. Some missions may be more difficult to tackle solo, but through level 15, I've hit everything thrown my way with some challenge, but no major frustration.
Certainly, The Dark Zone is where the game wants you to go at some point, but UbiSoft's bugs and issues have been well-documented, and, as a minimum of level 10 is necessary to enter, I've stayed away until they iron things out.
The DZ itself has an interesting concept; the best loot and hardest enemies are located there, and the entire zone is multiplayer, friendly-fire enabled. All loot grabbed here is contaminated, and must be airlifted out. Once you've collected your goodies and send up a flare for pick-up, all players in the zone will see said flare, essentially giving away your location and telling all players "here I am, with some great stuff!" As there's no in-game voice chat, players approaching you may be there to help protect you or kill you and steal the loot you just spent time collecting. Even players you have teamed up with inside the Zone can be using you to help kill that big bad boss, only to turn on you as you await pickup.
That said, there is a downside... Agents who do this end up with a "Rogue Agent" title within the Zone, and those who choose to can, in turn, hunt them down for bonus XP and also steal their loot with no "Rogue" tag applied.
Returning to the single player for a moment, I've never seen an MMORPG-style game accomplish what The Division has on such a scale. Upon leaving your safe house or base, the entire whole of New York becomes an "instance" for you (no other players will be there with you, UNLESS you group with them prior to leaving). While you must be connected online to play, I've played the entire story out as a single player game. Another interesting thing they've accomplished happens within the main base; as you run missions and collect necessities around the city, the interior of the base changes. More vendors, more refugees, the interior, it all reflects what you've accomplished. However, as a hub for this community of players, others will only see the base as far as they've "fixed" it. Very cool.
As a gun-based MMORPG, The Division plays out very much like a hybrid- as opposed to say, World of Warcraft or Guild Wars, where a ridiculous amount of hits may be necessary to kill opponents, The Division falls back into a Gears of War style of play, where falling behind cover is necessary, as 1, 2, 3 hits may take you or the enemy out, with some exceptions in MAJOR boss fights. There's occasional "bullet-sponginess" that occurs, but I find that to follow the typical tropes of MMORPGs. A sniper rifle head shot however, still takes out an opponent in one hit.
The Division also features a crafting system like most MMORPGs, but at this moment, it's very light. Recipes are handed out at levels and story missions- there's no hunting for them in obscure places in the world. And while this ease of only a few materials is nice, one thing I haven't encountered is recipes that give specific bonuses. Every crafting session is a gamble on whether it will add a stat you're actually hoping to get. Hopefully, this is something they'll change, as it has led to some frustration.
The Division takes a lot of chances in a genre that seems to be content with their typical gameplay, and they're better for it. Not every gamble is perfect, and there's still some ironing out to do (not unexpected in the genre) but the game is excellent for the majority of it, and the ability to enjoy it as a single player game is an unexpected bonus.

Great example of storytelling in games

Let's get this out of the way now- If you dislike QTE's in games, you're more than likely not going to enjoy Until Dawn.
With that out of the way, if you're still here, let's get into precisely why THIS is what I've been waiting for.
Too many people look forward to the next-gen of consoles almost primarily on the shiny overhaul of graphics- and there's nothing particularly wrong with that, but UD shows just what the horsepower of our now current-gen machines really can do- tell a story that makes it YOUR story, chock full of action-reaction, choice and consequence. Oh, sure, you can make the case that UD is the best looking game on the PS4 as of now. Like PS3's Quantic Dreams' games (in particular, Beyond Two Souls) they've digitized live actors into the game world and given you control over them.
And while Quantic Dreams gave us great opportunities of choice, the levels of such decision-making pale in comparison to UD. In controlling every character at various times, and thus, interacting with your friends, your choices in what you say and how you speak to them will influence how they treat you as the game progresses.
UD's Butterfly Effect system kicks in with every important decision you make, all with a fluttering of the insects in the corner of the screen to let you know you've made a choice that could have been handled otherwise and will, in all likelihood, play some larger role later in your playthrough.
Until Dawn as a game is perhaps better than 75% of the horror movies it borrows heavily from, and in handing you the reigns of the characters, removes the need to scream at your television set "why would you do something that STUPID?!?" If it was a stupid choice made in UD, you're the guilty party.
The premise is simple, with a group of friends gathering at a giant lodge, trying to help their friend (the son of the owner of this abandoned building) through a rough time- at their last get-together the year prior, his twin sisters died when a prank went wrong.
And, like all teen horror flicks, the power will go out, the lodge (conveniently located atop a mountain where the only way up is via cable car, and the only neighboring building is an abandoned sanitarium,) will be cut off from all help, cell phones will be useless, and blood will flow.
Never before have I felt so in control over the characters I was given guardianship over- it's amazing knowing that every choice, big or small, very well could lead to it rewarding you down the line... Or biting you in the backside.
The graphics are gorgeous, but it can be a shame with the setting calling for so much darkness, that you don't always get to appreciate them fully.
The game is played in chapters, often leaving on a cliffhanger, and you'll be taken to the office of "Dr. Hill" (played with scene-chewing deliciousness by the wonderful Peter Stormare) where he'll talk to you as your psychiatrist- Usually about your fears... And of course, the game is learning about you as you answer his questions, making subtle changes to the setting and happenings in the game to try and get the best possible frights from you.
And it will scare you- it's a game best played with the lights off, the sound up, and as late as possible. For the gore-hounds, UD also delivers, blending these sides of horror unlike most movies do, where it's usually one or the other.
This is precisely the type of game I LOVE. ( I enjoy just about every type of game known to man, but no sports, no FPS, no racing game are going to get you as involved in the characters as well as a game in which you can sculpt the characters AND the story). While I love games, Until Dawn is best described as an experience.
And while I give the game a 5 star rating, a 4.5 would still be best served for UD. Despite all its wonderful qualities, it still has some minor issues.
Another great addition is NO PLAYER SAVES in your first playthrough... The game saves itself and does so FREQUENTLY (no technical issues with this) to make your first attempt at UD as "fresh" as possible. There is no going back. No changing a choice you might have regretted making as you heard the timer ticking down. No saving a character you let die because you weren't still enough.
(Yes, "still enough"- the game will require you to remain almost perfectly still at times.)
The story is great, but is far from perfect- like most teen horror flicks. You won't need many of the scattered clues lying around to figure things out as you play.
Another negative is the voice-acting. NOT with the actors themselves, nor is it game sound (which is actually excellent). But no matter where the characters are, they all seem to sound as if they're talking in a sound studio. It's bothersome, but eventually you'll get used to it and it will cease to be as major of a nuisance as it is when you first hear it.
Unfortunately, the isometric camera angle is here with the ugly "walking tank" controls, as well. Ever since the original Resident Evil employed this, it has frustrated me. Fortunately, UD never has seemed to get me killed because of this choice in control/ camera, it's still an unnatural feel to be walking in one direction, only for the camera to change and you're holding the control stick in the opposite direction of which way your character is walking. Putting the stick in neutral for a moment corrects this, but it takes you out of the immersion ever so slightly.
The only other negative I can point to, and I know it was done intentionally, is a slightly too common reliance on "misdirected" jump-scares... The old animal jumping out of the closet is a pretty standard horror trope, but those similar type scares that don't involve the actual killer, appear a few times more than I'd care. They'll still make you jump... You'll just catch yourself asking when the real reason to be scared is going to happen.
Until Dawn is what this new generation of consoles needs to investigate- choice and consequence. If some company can make a game that makes you care this much for your characters, all while delivering with less QTE's, they're going to score big. If they can manage to combine it with the action of a God of War or GTA, they'll have created perhaps one of the best games ever. Unfortunately, it seems to be a choice (ha) the devs make- focus super heavy into the story or super heavy into the action. Until then, games like The Order: 1886 and Until Dawn are going to have their supporters (although UD seems to have gathered more support than the Order- probably due to the subject matter of the two. Horror buffs are going to love UD even if they have to put up with the QTE heavy play they normally wouldn't with any other game) of which I am one. I'm a sucker for story that keeps me interested all the way through- one that doesn't just assign me to kill the next round of bad guys.
Until Dawn is a game that should be in the hands of fans that enjoy horror, enjoy gaming as an experience, or that are simply tired of "blowing stuff up real good".
Here's hoping they make a sequel!

Hi...My grandson is turning 6yrs old next week and he got a Nintendo 2DS for Christmas.. I wanted to know if I switch to a 2DS XL will he be able to use the old games with the new system? And is it worth the change? Thank u

All Nintendo DS games are compatible between the 2DS, 2DSXL, 3DS, and 3DSXL.
If a game is 2D however, it won't have 3D graphics on the 3DS systems. If a game is 3D, it will only show 2D graphics on a 2DS.
In my opinion, if he's upgrading from a 2DS, you'd be best served to upgrades to the 3DSXL.
The 3DSXL plays compatible 3D games in 3D without the need for glasses (which is really neat, being able to see 3D without the glasses they'd use for 3D movies) and still will play all his older games just fine.

Enjoy extreme computing power and uncompromising reliability with this CybertronPC Palladium gaming desktop. Its liquid cooling system keeps its powerful 4.0GHz Intel Core i7 processor from overheating, and the included 32GB of RAM handles the most demanding games. This CybertronPC Palladium gaming desktop has a 3TB hard drive to hold entire libraries of multimedia files.

Is there any possible customizable optionss for this device. Blu-ray player, front usb drives, etc.

There are 2 front/ top USB3.0 ports (they're angled).
There was an issue with the product description, which stated 10 USB ports. Mine arrived with the 2 front facing and only 4 or 5 in back. (Don't have access to PC, out of country atm). Best Buy did rectify the situation for me after bringing this to their attention by supplying me with a USB hub. As the PC appeared to be built as ordered, I cannot claim to whether this was an error by CyberTronic or an error in product description. (And number of USB ports may not be as big an issue for you).
This PC is built as a gaming "rig" and easily handles Virtual Reality (Oculus Rift,) and can handle having an external blu ray with no issues. There's plenty of power under the hood here, and I've been beyond happy with my purchase.
That said, if you do not do much gaming, this PC may be overkill, but it will handle modern games and VR handily, as well as video creation, which can hog memory, as well. Connecting an external blu ray player should be a matter of minutes and a quick install, and it should run smooth as butter with plenty left to spare.
