Most elegant, beautiful sounding headphones!

These Master & Dynamic MH30 headphones have the smoothest response I have ever heard. Sound is rich, warm, clear and gorgeous. They are also very comfortable to wear.
The first thing I thought of when unboxing them was “Elegant”. The Gunmetal finish is beautiful. The fit and finish are impeccable.
Included are two different cables: one for audio only, and one with a mic and remote control for use with phone/tablet. The cords are a beautiful braided cloth material, and come with a 1/8" to 1/4" adapter and a leather case!
There is also a cloth case to carry the headphones included.
The only possible downside is these do not have any wireless connectivity/Bluetooth. They are strictly wired, but I didn’t mind that, as I normally listen to music from my PC at my desk at work.
The other feature “missing”, which I did not want anyway, is Noise-Cancellation. I’ve tried phones with that feature in the past, I and don’t like being that isolated. I just want to enjoy the music!

Not as great as I had hoped!

I had high hopes for the Amped Wireless - Ally Plus “Whole Home Smart Wi-Fi System”. It is advertised as easy to configure, and able to provide seamless Wi-Fi for up to 15,000 square feet. I was hoping to use it to improve the wireless coverage for a church where I do IT support.
The primary unit is very easy to configure, but does require a smartphone and an app download. I was hoping that this unit would have better coverage than my existing N-speed wireless router, but in actual use the coverage was almost identical.
The big selling point for this unit is the included range extender, which is supposed to greatly extend the coverage. The extender is easy to set up – you just plug it in and wait for the flashing light to go solid. Green means you are in a good location, yellow means OK, and red means you are too far away from the router.
This is where I was really disappointed, as I first tried it about 50’ feet from the main router, a few rooms away. Red light. Moved it one room closer, still red, then moved it to a room about 20’ feet away, and under a window that faced toward the room where the router is. Still got a red light.
This is where I decided to give up, because if I moved it any closer, they would be in the same room. I didn’t see the point in spending $300 on a system that was no better than the $75 router I was previously using

Great pre-configured gaming PC!

This HP OMEN is a fantastic gaming PC, especially for users who don't want to spend the time and effort building their own rig. The NVIDIA 1070 card is a great choice, and together with the Terabyte 7200 RPM drive and the 16GB of DDR4 RAM this PC handled any game I could throw at it.
The case is very slick, and the color-changing LED panel on the front is sexy. There is plenty of room for additional drives and RAM. My only upgrade for this unit would possibly be an SSD drive - and HP does sell other OMEN units that come with a SSD drive.
One potential downside - there are not a lot of audio output options, but with most gamers using USB headsets these days, that is kind of a moot point.
There is some HP software built-in that you may not need, but it didn't seem to affect the performance at all.
All-in-all, this a great pre-configured gaming PC at a great price.

Great pre-configured gaming PC!

This HP Omen PC is a great choice for serious gamers who don't want to spend the time and effort building their own rig. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 is an amazing video card, and could handle any game I threw at it!
The included Terabyte hard drive and 16 GB DDR4 memory are more than capable, and there's plenty of room for additional drives and RAM. I would have preferred an SSD drive, but HP does make other OMEN models with SSD.
The case on this unit is very attractive, and I like the additional ports on top vs being right on the front. And the color-changing light bar on the front is really sexy.
The only real downside to this unit is the sound outputs are just standard 1/8" jacks, or the HDMI out from the NVIDIA card. No optical audio out. This was not a problem for me, but could be for some folks.
All-in-all, a good deal for a very impressive gaming PC.

Fantastic vacuum - built to last!

I was excited to receive this new Dyson Ball Animal 2 vacuum, because I have been using a Dyson DC25 for 4 or 5 years now, and really wanted to try the ball-style model. This vacuum did not disappoint!
Pros:
Dyson quality – very solid build, easy to assemble. I know it is built to last.

The ball makes this unit very maneuverable, and it easily moves from wood floors to rugs and carpet. My old one had to be tilted to get onto rugs.
No more bending over to switch the brush on – the button next to the power switch is a great addition.
The suction is even better than my old DC25, and did a great job on wood floors, tile, and rugs.
The front of the vacuum is lower/thinner than before. This makes it better at getting under cabinets, chairs, etc.
The upholstery brush works well on our couch to remove dog hair. This is a new attachment that our DC25 didn’t have.
The unit has a nice heft to it, without being too heavy.
The dirt container is easy to remove and empty.
The power cord is longer and sturdier than before.
Cons:
The attachment holder only holds two of the three attachments.

It’s a little harder to lock in upright position than my old one. Of course, I’ve only had it two days, so it may take some practice.
No headlight.
Overall – this is a great vacuum, well worth the money. Based on my experience with my DC25, I expect this to last 10 years or more.

This Logitech Spotlight Presentation Remote is a joy to use, and feels really good in your hand. It came very well packaged, and includes a nice carrying case. There is also a charging cable, and a USB dongle which fits into the end of the remote for storage.
The Spotlight remote can connect to any PC via Bluetooth, and will work quite well to advance slides in programs like PowerPoint. The forward button is larger than the reverse button and the special programmable top button, so there should be no trouble using the remote without looking at it.
Where the spotlight really shines is by using the included USB dongle, and downloading and installing the Logitech Spotlight software. This software allows you to customize how the buttons work. The top button can perform 2 of 3 special activities at a time (double-tapping the button switched modes) – Magnify, Highlight (a circular spotlight), or Circle pointer. The forward and backward buttons can also be programmed to handle other functions when held down – blank the screen, scroll, fast forward, volume control (which you use by pointing the remote up or down), or even custom keystrokes.
I was very impressed when first unboxing this remote, and it felt and performed well upon first use. Once I installed the dongle and the software I was blown away. While there is no traditional “laser pointer” function, I didn’t miss it at all once I explored the options of this Spotlight Remote.
The only downside I can see is that you don’t have the extra functionality when using a PC without the Logitech software loaded. However, if you travel with a laptop, or use a dedicated PC for presentations, you can’t do any better than the Logitech Spotlight Presentation Remote.

Awesome way to REALLY clean you floors!

I have to start by saying I have not actually used this Shark steam mop - my wife hasn't let me yet! She loves how easy it is to use, and how clean it gets our floors. She has used it on both hardwood and tile floors, and is very happy with it! She says she can tell the floors really FEEL cleaner after using the steam mop.
I like how easy it is to install and remove the pads, and the washability of the pads is a great feature. I feel that this mop is a good investment, because it doesn't use disposable pads - there is nothing else to buy with this mop. Just fill with water, and go!
We highly recommend the Shark steam mop!

Great headphones for working out!

I loved these Sony - Xb80bs Extra Bass Sports Wireless In-ear Headphones! They fit great in my ears, and stayed in while I was working out. The sound was crystal clear, and I didn't notice the sound from the connecting wire that other reviewers have noticed.
The Bluetooth range was great, and I had no trouble connecting them to both an iPhone 6 and an LG Android phone.
Also, I really prefer the black color on these, as some "workout" headphones seem to come in some pretty wild colors.
I can heartily recommend these headphones, especially for use while active/working out.

If you own a Philips Sonicare toothbrush, you will need these heads. They are a perfect fit, and are great if you have multiple users in the family. And if not, you will eventually want to replace your original head, Especially since the toothbrush app will tell you when it's time!

Great dental care system!!

I was really curious about this new toothbrush, because I couldn’t understand why it would cost $200, or need Bluetooth! While waiting for the delivery, I used Google to find this description: “sensors send your brushing data to the Sonicare app via Bluetooth®, providing you personalized coaching and feedback for a complete clean.”
When I saw the images of the iPhone app for the toothbrush, I was under the impression that the toothbrush would actually create a map of your teeth as you brush.
What it really does if show you a diagram of a normal mouth, and then walks you through brushing your teeth in six separate areas. Each area is allotted twenty seconds, for a total of two minutes brushing time. The sensors in the brush can tell whether you are doing the inside or outside of your teeth, but not exactly which section you are doing.
If you follow the 20-second pattern, and do both sides of your teeth, the diagram will highlight which sections you’ve cleaned. If you miss a spot, that spot will be highlighted. The brush shuts off after the two minutes, but if you start it back up it app will continue to track the rest of your cleaning. The app also asks if you have flossed, rinsed your mouth, and scraped your tongue.
Also, before you brush the first time, the app walks you through a survey regarding your dental health. The app will keep track of your progress as you brush, and you can even generate a report to send to your dentist.
The handle of the brush has several different settings, including three different cleaning modes and three different intensities. Big tip – load up your toothpaste, but do NOT turn on the brush until it is in your mouth. I sent some toothpaste FLYING across the sink.
After using this brush for a week, I am very impressed with how clean my mouth feels. I think it is a combination of the action of the brush and the focus on making sure I clean each section for the proper length of time.
I did get extra heads with the brush, and my wife has also been using it. She agrees that she also likes the way her teeth feel after using this brush.
Spending this type of money on a toothbrush might seem a little weird, but for someone who has always hated going to the dentist, something this advanced that can actually help me take better care of my mouth is a good investment.

What are the benefits of the NEW ROKU 3 over the ROKU 2XS version (mine is 2-3 years old)?
I believe the processor is faster, which makes things runs smoother. It has the latest Wi-Fi, plus an ethernet port. Does the 2XS have Ethernet?
