First, i would like to point out i have never played any of the witcher games. So, going in to this one, i had low expectations, especially with everyone saying the game was downgraded for the consoles. Well, it is a fantastic game to me. No other ways to describe it.
GRAPHICS - The graphics are more than solid good. The animation is simply out of this world with the occasional frame rate drop, but nothing which harm this game. Hey, not as bad as Fallout 3, New Vegas and Skyrim (I owned all 3 of them and they were buggy, but fun). Those graphics are crisp and sharp. Every area is distinct from one another which means you know when you get to another area of the game. I really like the background where you can almost see like other levels far away. This is top notch to me. The water area could use some upgrades, but it still get the job done. It is pure pleasure just to go through this world and look at all the details (and i am just in the prologue still...lol).
SOUND - The music in this game is just phenomenal. Man, talk about putting you in the mood. The voice acting is superb and whoever wrote their texts are really good. Overall, the sound effect is plain fun. Nothing else to say about it.
GAMEPLAY – The game so far is very responsive. You can easily navigate and the character does exactly what you want. I don't find it too hard to get used to Gerald and his moves. I was playing a lot of Bloodborne before this game, so i am used by now to rolling and dodging. I have gotten stuck once or twice on rocks, but it happens rarely. You have to watch where you go or you could die easily falling of a cliff.
STORY – This is a very innovative story to me. As mentioned, i have not followed the witcher story at all. I did not find i was at a total loss. I really want to find out what has happened and why. This game is apparently supposed to last approx.. 25h to 30h just with the main story. Should last close to 200h with all the side quests. The whole witcher world is captivating to me. All those monsters to hunt and the hundreds of NPC's to listen to. There is a lot to do here.
FUN - There seems to be a lot of collectibles to find in this game, from weapons to weapons upgrades to various items and secrets. You can also find journals here and there. I did not think you could have more than skyrim, but this game may just prove me wrong. That is just awesome. The menus are a bit hard to navigate and it is a bit confusing. However, once you get it, it may takes a bit of work to get there, but it works. Who knows, maybe a patches in the future will address that. Overall, there is just a ton of fun to get with this game.
CONCLUSION - This game is phenomenal period. I love the developper for getting us free DLC's (there are 16 coming soon). Yeah, they may ask money for 2 expensions later on, but at least, the DLC's are free and that's the way it should be. I suggest supporting those guys who made us a great game instead of supporting the practice of a game company releasing a horribly unfinished product and expecting the customers to pay full price. Yeah EA and Ubisoft, I am looking at you. I recommend the witcher 3 all the way. I mean, 60$ for 200 hours of game... Hell yeah!

3DS Charged

There is no question that when it has came down to video games on the go, Nintendo has been the reigning champion of knowing what the gamer wants with fun, and they have shown that with great games for over 25 years of portable fun. With the Nintendo 3DS, you have a great deal of fun with games like Mario Kart 7, Pilotwings Resort, and Super Mario 3D Land. Still, when the battery does die down, you need a really good charge to keep the system from failing and that is where the Nintendo 3DS Adapter comes into play. It works very well at keeping your system charged up, whether it is the 3DS, 2DS, or Nintendo DSi. It works very well, and doesn't lose its stamina unlike other AC Adapters for DS systems past and present. I definitely recommend that if you need a extra charger for the 3DS or 3DS XL, than I absolutely recommend you get the Nintendo 3DS AC Adapter.

Baseball is your passion and no one can deny your love for the game, but what you're really in it for is The Show. The feeling you get as you run out into the middle of the ballpark, awash in bright stadium lighting. The rows and rows of roaring fans that send thunderous reverberations rocketing up through the soles of your feet. You become enveloped in the raw emotion coursing around you. As you step up to the plate, your calloused fingers feel the smooth grain of the familiar bat, choking up on the wood until it becomes almost an extension of your own body. You try to read the pitcher's slight movements in the microseconds before he whips a ball in your direction, spiraling at seemingly lightning speeds. Your body reacts, followed by a deafening crack as your bat lines up with the ball. You can tell without even looking that you've just hit the first homer of the night. The highly rated sports franchise that you've grown to love over the years is back with new, exciting ways to play, more realistic gameplay physics and the most authentic MLB experience yet in MLB 15: The Show. This 10th edition of the MLB franchise provides year-to-year saves, so you can seamlessly continue your progress and gameplay from MLB 14 into MLB 15 — plus future releases. Partnerships with various brands bring MLB-accurate licensed equipment to the game, so you can enjoy realistic bats, gloves, cleats and more. You can earn Stubs just by playing the game, which can then be spent on licensed equipment, Road to the Show improvements and virtual baseball cards. MLB 15 introduces 30 MLB alumni players into the virtual player card pool, spanning the last 70 years and including one representative from each team, offering you the chance to find a historic virtual player and add them to your collection to be utilized throughout the game. Feel as if you're truly a part of the scene thanks to major graphical improvements, including real-time seasonal sun and shadows, realistic night and stadium lighting and enhanced player personalities. Players and teams feature more unique personalities and styles, exhibiting a diverse range of emotional reactions to occurrences both on and off the field. MLB 15 is the best edition yet with revamped commentary, improved load times, an action-packed field, an overhauled franchise mode and much, much more. Swing for the fences and celebrate the franchise with this 10th Anniversary Edition, which features the game and a host of bonus items, including an exclusive Steelbook and cover, 12K in Stubs, 15 bonus item packs, all 30 MLB Dynamic Themes and a MLB 15 Dynamic Theme. See if you have what it takes to round the bases in MLB 15: The Show.

MLB the Show 15 isn't a revolutionary change to the game. It does what other yearly sports games generally do. It adds a few new features. Improves the graphics. Improves the physics engine and maybe the AI. MLB the Show 15 is a refinement of an already great game that allows for year to year saves, which to me is huge as a big Road to the Show and Franchise player. I don't lose all the time invested in those modes with the change over in years to get the new features. I get to keep vying for that Cy Young award with my Road to the Show pitcher. I get to keep cheering for my staff ace and MVP caliber third basemen I so carefully cultivated through the minor league in Franchise. It's a great feeling that makes the game a lot more fun to pick up and play right away. I don't need to work through building things up again. I get to enjoy what I've made already and keep going.
Getting the easy stuff out of the way, the game plays the same as in the past. There is Franchise, Road to the Show, Diamond Dynasty, Challenges and Online. If you haven't played previous iterations in Franchise you control a (or multiple if you want) team as both GM and manager. You have a minor league system, draft players, handle contracts, make trades, deal with arbitration. The system isn't nearly as deep as something like Outside of the Park Baseball, but this isn't a hardcore management sim. It's more about building a team you want to play with. Road to the Show is the career mode where you start out as a prospect being drafted and working your way up through the minors. Diamond Dynasty is the standard card collecting mode where you buy packs to get players and build a team to play with. Online is, well, online competitive play as you would find in any sports game.
There are a few nice refinements to the gameplay that improve on the in the game action. When pitching you are shown a trajectory of the ball rather than a ball with arrows to show the general break of the pitch. When batting it's much easier to distinguish where you're trying to influence the ball to go. There's more personality to the players, which is nice when you're seeing the game over and over. There are also numerous additional customization options with new branded gear.
There are also some more major additions to the game, mostly in the way or equipment and sponsorships. You gain these items by opening packs you buy with stubs or they can be rewarded at the end of games, at least if you play in Franchise. The equipment is usable in Road to the Show or Diamond Dynasty to improve stats and add new looks. The sponsorships are used in Franchise to provide boosts to your budget. They would definitely be nice for a small market team to improve the budget. In my franchise I have a White Sox team, who admittedly start with a nice budget, that I've improved over several seasons so I have little need for extra budget room but it's still nice to have an extra incentive to go for things. To try to steal more, shoehorn in a save, throw a complete game or go for more strikeouts instead of pitching to contact low in the zone. If you're budget is established you could ignore the sponsorships, but it's still fun to go for the things.
The graphics are improved from last year. The crowds look great. Players have improved movement and graphics. The hair no long looks weird like it did on the PS4 for MLB 14 when you played in the games. The parks look awesome and the lighting is improved. The in game sound is mostly on par with last years, though there are new commentating statements which are nice. There is also an announcer for the main menu of a mode that announces what's happening in the league. It's a nice addition. It makes the league feel more alive. A couple years in there are a lot of computer generated players I don't know, and usually am only cognizant of the ones who are vying for MVP or Cy Young or a major award during the year. This brings more players to life and makes the league seem alive.
There are a couple issues with the game. The management AI is mostly the same. You can still take advantage of teams for trades and players will sign ridiculous 10 year contracts. Like I said before, this isn't a hardcore management sim. It is a little too easy to build an elite squad after a couple years, but it's still deep enough for me to feel like I need to put in effort to be in control. Players will transition awkwardly at times. A player will run like a bat out of hell toward first, be thrown out and suddenly just be walking casually toward the dugout. Or if a play isn't possible on a ball a player will awkwardly crouch until the play is over, waiting to throw. There are also more errors it seems like. Errors were admittedly pretty rare in previous iterations, but this time it feels like it's gone overboard. It's now not too uncommon to see Darwin Barney level defenders making errors which is a bit frustrating. A slider adjustment could change it, but I don't like to mess with the sliders. It feels cheap.
The collectors edition items are nice, but not essential, and the value is way overblown. The free packs of in-game cards are nice, and the stubs have value in the game. The case is actually pretty nice and will look good sitting on my shelf of video games. The value of the themes is wildly overblown. They're barely dynamic and realistically you will use one theme. I set the Chicago White Sox theme on, and will probably not change it again until I put something not baseball related on there.
There has, so far, been one gamebreaking bug. I can't play Diamond Dynasty. When I try to enter a team abbreviation it won't let me, so I can't access Diamond Dynasty, which is frustrating.
Baseball is Better is the motto of the series. While I will admit I prefer watching the Chicago Bears more than the Chicago White Sox, when it comes to sports games it really is true. MLB the Show continues its run of being the best game for franchise and career mode play. It may not be the behemoth that Madden or FIFA are, and probably for good reason, but it's an awesome game for anyone who enjoys baseball. I would recommend the move from MLB 14 for anyone considering it, and would label MLB 15 as a great buy for anyone who even a passing interest in baseball or franchise mode who likes sports game.
