Incredible game with a couple issues.

I thoroughly enjoyed Just Cause 2, and let's be honest - no one plays this series expecting riveting story telling. The shear level of destruction and mayhem you cause in this game is incredible, and a notch above it's predecessor. I played several hours following the storyline, then diverted to finding bases and wrecking havoc. It's really exhilarating stealing a chopper, getting hit by SAMs missles, then as you're parachuting away from the crashing rubble, you grapplehook onto an apache, and continue where you left off. This game is always taunting you to be creative in your approach, and the variety seems endless at times. The new wingsuit is a welcome addition, and completely changes the way you traverse through the environment. I must have clocked over 200 hours on JC2, and this game will no doubt be the same.
But it is plagued with some problems which prevent it from reaching 5 stars. The story is forgettable, and like in the last game, very predictable. The camera angles seem very finicky, and the motion blur effect while rotating around make it problematic at times to focus - whether it be driving, or flying. During flying it becomes tedious as you're constantly rotating to view below, or behind. The chopper isn't bad, but when flying with the F/22s it can prove to be disorienting. By no means is this unbearable.
The loading times on the PS4 are ridiculous. It's frustrating to wait several minutes to respawn - some have attributed this to memory leaks. Let's just say, I became more careful to avoid the extended wait times. The other issue that arises quite frequently is FPS dips, which can drop to what feels like 15 FPS, and really ruin the immersion of destruction.
Pros:
1) Amazing visuals, the water diving is incredible and some of the best I have seen on a console.
2) The shear level of destructible is insane, and you'll find yourself discovering bases just to wreck havoc.
3) JC2 car driving was terrible, this is definitely a notch-above and in the right direction.
4) If you enjoyed JC2, you'll love this game. One of the few games where the price is justified.
5) Highly re-playable
6) Wingsuit is a blast and makes moving around more fun
Cons:
1) Forgettable story
2) Annoying AI: Can spawn 3 feet from your direction after you've just cleared an area.
3) Camera angles can be troublesome.
4) Low FPS
5) Loading times can be 2 minutes + , with some reporting 15 minutes.
I hope the some of the above cons can be addressed in future patches. Regardless of the negatives, this game is well worth the purchase, and I will no doubt be playing for a long time to come.

See this Mario Maker level for it in action! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZtNAp6WGmE
On Mario Maker it is great! Don't know if you can unlock this amiibo or not so happy to have bought it. It is also on display (out of package)!
When Mario eats this Huge mushroom he can break through bocks of all kinds including question blocks (but not ground blocks)! Also the enemies change; for example: cannons shoot out Luigi and red cannons shoot out Toads! Is there a Lakitu in your level? Well, its Luigi up there now, throwing stuff at you!
Also, the screen turns grainy and has the illusion of being an Old School tube tv some of us grew up with!
Love it! Want to get the Modern Color version too

Very expensive and buggy game that still charms

The concept of taking various licensed LEGO properties and throwing them together is great. Some of the properties, like Portal and Doctor Who, have been treated with evident love by the game designers. The controls are less convoluted than some recent LEGO games (LEGO The Hobbit was especially overloaded).
But for all the fun in the idea, there's some big negatives.
First of all, there's the cost. The entry cost is $99, and that just lets you play part of the game. If you want to get all of the gold bricks and other extras, you're going to need to by expansion sets—and a lot of them. In previous LEGO games, you unlocked characters by finding character tokens; in Dimensions, you unlock characters by buying real-world packs with real money. Even if you don't want to collect all the characters, but you just want to access all the hidden areas, Dimensions will cost you several hundred dollars. Many things are hidden behind things that require one specific expansion character to unlock. While the various packs aren't priced particularly high compared to non-game LEGO building sets with similar parts counts, the fact that you will need so many sets just to get 100% on the basic storyline means that this game requires a substantial financial investment.
The game's story mode is short compared to recent LEGO games, although the "adventure worlds" make up for that somewhat. Likewise, the "level packs" that add new story levels are very brief.
As for the controls, TT has traded complex menus on-screen for the toy pad. In many places, you need to use the pad and your characters as controls, moving them to different slots on the pad. That adds a new kind of control complexity. You can't just sit down and play the game; you need to have your toy pad within reach. It needs to be on a non-metallic surface, away from any sources of RF interference. It needs to be within reach of your console; it uses a long USB cord to connect. It needs to be on a relatively level, stable surface. And you'll need to have room nearby for your collection of characters and vehicles so you can swap them in and out. The need to constantly shift attention to the toy pad draws you out of the game, especially when you find you need to remove characters from play to make room to swap others from section to section. Like the Wii U's second-screen, it's an idea that sounds good in the abstract but isn't very fun in reality. (At least in the 1.02 patch, some character abilities can be activated with a button press instead of requiring toy pad movement.)
The game also suffers from TT Games' long-standing LEGO game-engine bugs. After a decade of LEGO games, TT still hasn't fixed problems like characters getting stuck in places with no way out, or the game occasionally locking up for no apparent reason. (The Doctor Who level pack has a nasty bug where having the artifact-detector red brick enabled causes the game to crash reliably on multiple platforms, making the level unplayable until you disable the brick.) It also adds some new glitches, such as places where your character can fall through the world and die in the offstage area that you should never see... and then respawn offstage right above where you died, creating an infinite loop of falling, dying (and losing studs), and respawning that you can't escape without quitting the game (and losing progress). For a game that will cost several hundred dollars to complete, there's no excuse for not delivering a stable game without ancient bugs. It can be done—the Wii U-only LEGO City Undercover was virtually free of the typical TT Games LEGO bugs—but it wasn't done for Dimensions. If the game were free of these long-standing bugs—heck, if it were even free of bugs that should have been caught with minimal pre-release playtesting—it would be a four-star game. As it is, only the charm of the writing and the concept keep it from being a two-star game.
The various properties in Dimensions receive varying amounts of care. For example, the starter set characters all have fairly extensive dialogue from the original actors. The Doctor Who, Portal, and LEGO Movie characters also receive extensive voice acting from the original actors, including minor characters. The Lord of the Rings characters receive the same over-used movie sound bites as the standalone games, which are sometimes even appropriate to the situation. The Ghostbusters levels available so far seem to rely exclusively on movie sound clips. The Simpsons properties are missing dialogue for many of the characters.
If you have a lot of disposable income and a high tolerance for replaying levels due to game-ending glitches, LEGO Dimensions has a lot of fun in the way it lampoons its subjects and mashes them together. If spending $300 to $800 to play a buggy LEGO game doesn't appeal to you, you might want to skip it and just watch gameplay clips on YouTube.

Previous Experience: 100's of hours in Fallout 3 and Fallout NV - Completed them both a few times.
Playtime: A little over 3.5 hours.
Cons: Same engine, the game feels the same in many regards.
Graphics seem dated.
A lot has changed since 2008, npc movement for example. Enemies run towards you using the most direct path, bounding on top of some obstacles instantly.
It seems like some area's are a direct copy from fallout 3 (with new textures), so far that has been limited to an overpass.
Settlement Crafting can be annoying if you are missing 1 unique part, with no way of knowing how to get it.
There is a lot of junk you can break down, but it's tedious to do.
The beginning in vault 111 isn't a very fun story and it's a little too forced, unlike Fallout 3.
Minor Bugs or glitches:
The only one I experienced so far is dialog subtitles, they get stuck and quit working. It's a minor annoyance really and you might not even use them (disabled by default).
NPC's didn't use my selected in game name "Bob", thought it was on the list, maybe not.
Neutral:
Some PS4 controls aren't really intuitive, the good thing is the physical manual actually does have the default keymap in it. I've had to reference it a few times. Digital buyers I don't know about your manual.
Some of the music is exactly the same from fallout 3, maybe that's good for some of you, I was looking forward to an entirely new soundtrack.
Pro's
Settlement building is pretty neat and pretty fun.
Weapons are fun, and customization options are extreme but they depend on your skill set and salvaging abilities.
No more weapon breaking in the middle of a firefight.
The enemies are pretty fierce, be sure to wear your brown pants if deathclaws are around.
Powerarmor is even more fun, although wearing it is limited by your fusion fuel, still its a good balance. However it does also take damage and need repairs.
Shooting in general is a lot better, it does feel like a FPS if you don't use VATS for every shot, a mix of both is usually required in my experience.
Lots of new ground to explore, and living just northwest of Boston myself the game hits home.
The enveloping environment more than makes up for the dated graphics.
Takeaway: The game is fun and adds new elements as well as fixed old annoyances. If you loved Fallout 3, you will probably enjoy Fallout 4. If you've never played Fallout or Skyrim and think you might be interested in a new RPG, I'd say this wont disappoint you if you are willing to accept graphics that seem a little dated. It's really like it's own little world, and you get the feel of it quite well.
For these reasons I give it a B+

Smart changes make MLB 15 actually worth buying.

MLB 14 was definitely rushed so that it could make it onto the PS4, but this time around a few smart changes were made that make MLB 15 actually worth buying. The game hasn't changed by leaps & bounds, but it has been improved. Thankfully, Franchise and Road to the Show game data transfers from over MLB 14 to this years game and will also move into future games. Finally we don't have to start over from scratch every time a new game is released.
The most important change (in my opinion) is that the computer controlled outfielders are more true to life (meaning less accurate). Last year the computer outfielders caught the ball every gosh darn time. It really ruined the fun that they simply always knew exactly where the ball was going to land. This time around fielders take different paths to the ball based on their stats / skills (and sometimes they actually drop the ball!).
My favorite feature of MLB 2015 is the radio show that plays after you simulate an entire day. What’s cool is that it plays while you navigate screens looking at stats, etc. You don't have to watch some dumb video that slows down what you actually want to be doing. And it really adds to the feeling of an entire season existing as it highlights information from other teams and games you were not a part of. For me it really amps up the tension knowing I am facing a team that is in the middle of a winning streak, or a pitcher who just threw a perfect game.
I also appreciate that the game is better on the PS4 (as compared to the Vita & PS3). This is how it should be! The game shouldn't just have better graphics on the PS4, it should actually have more features - which it does (to a small degree). The PS4 holds more data content and so there is room for more player/team scenes that gives a sense of actual personality. Also, the PS4 has seasonal lighting. The game actually imports info from Google Earth so that shadows face the correct direction at each time of the year. I haven't noticed this yet, but it's a cool idea. It’s also cool to know that if I'm playing a night game, a bunch of extra innings can mean that I get to see the sun rise over the stadium.
If you played MLB 14, you can rest assured that MLB15 is slightly better. It's a less frustrating game & you can bring your season with you.
If MLB 15 is your first baseball game on the PlayStation, you can be fairly confident in your purchase knowing that as the game improves year after year, you will be able to bring your seasons with you. It's like paying for all of the new features without having to start over. Maybe someday we’ll only be charged for DLC season passes (that give us new players & updates without making us purchase a whole new game). Don't worry - I'm not holding my breath.

This is going to be a review for Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham for the WII U. This game is the perfect mixture of action and puzzle. Unlike earlier Lego games the puzzles are challenging enough to be fun, but not simple enough that they would frustrate an adult. This video game not only has 15 levels, there is a bonus level which is a tribute to the 1966 television series. The design of the levels are fun, and really plays a tribute to the rich comic history of Detective Comics. This being the third Lego game in the series, the character selection doesn’t feel repetitive or stale.
Pros:
-Outside of story mode, there is an entire world to explore including the bonus 1966 television series level, The Batcave, The Hall of Justice, The Legion of Doom headquarters, and The Watchtower.
-It is easier to explore levels with the ability to switch character costumes with the push of a button.
-Each level has enough new activities that this title doesn’t become boring and repetitive.
- When playing on the Wii U in two player mode player one can play while viewing the touch-pad screen, while player 2 can play while viewing the television. No longer have to play in 2 player mode with a split screen.
Con:
- This game has too many glitches. During the 15- Level story I experienced about 4 glitches, all which caused me to have to replay the level and loss the level progress.

Great Entertaining Game For Fans Of Yoshi Or Fun

As expected from first party title games from Nintendo Yoshi's Woolly World is a very fun though light-hearted type game like the Kirby and Mario games. If you've played Kirby's Epic Yarn for the Nintendo Wii a lot of this game is going to feel pretty familiar to you but not in a bad way from the yarn created Yoshi and characters to certain abilities that Yoshi gets throughout the game. The graphics are simply astounding showing the power the Wii U has to be able to play this game at this level and of course you have the addictive happy tempo music that's pretty standard with the first party Nintendo games.
The game is a great stress release to help lighten up your mood when you're feeling in a rut after some bad gaming with the more darker games(Alien:Isolation,Evil Within ,etc, etc.)either due to online team match ups, boss battles or just having messed up. Like with most Nintendo games yo have co-op if you want to play with a partner or just the single player if you're by yourself but once again you do need at least a pro controller if you're going to have someone play with you. At the end a great new Nintendo game has come out for fans and families to enjoy until the next game which by the way comes out in November(Mario Tennis Wii U) and December(Xenoblade) so until then let the fun and entertainment continue.

Ok, so I've only used it once so far, but I'm hooked. My vinyl floors seemed always dirty and a regular mop never got them clean, just swished around dirty water. The floor pattern has little indentations that trap dirt. After unpacking the mop this morning, I put it to the test. YES, my floor was much cleaner and the mop worked effortless. No more scrubbing on my hands & knees with bleach. I hope it continues to perform just as beautifully. I'm going to clean the floor at least once a week now!

I wouldn't say this improved my accuracy, and gameplay, but as someone who has put some wear on his launch PS4 controller, and the rubber is wearing off, I can say this remedies that problem well. I was concerned it would be uncomfortable having elevated sticks, but it really doesn't, in fact it is very comfortable and does help tone down fatigue on your fingers, as advertised. If you play a lot of games on playstation 4 it's really a great buy, even if only to protect those analog sticks.

Scary, Compelling and Effective

Chilling, well acted and with a lot of jump scares. It's just like watching a scary '80s-'90s horror movie (very much an homage to classics such as Scream, Ravenous, Saw, or modern movies like The Cabin In The Woods), but you control the action, and this "movie" is over 8 hours long.
The first few minutes really gets you emotionally involved in the plot, and while the reunion is a bit (a lot) forced, it works in terms of the scary movie genre that the game is paying homage to. The tension starts right away, and it does not let up for a moment. Even in quiet moments you're worried about what might be around the next corner. The game really gets the atmosphere right. Also, you care for each character, and while it's true that some of them are not wholly likable (in horror movie tradition, some are immature and they can be unkind, self-centered or unthinking), you really feel as if you want to get them all through the horror that is about to overtake them.
The game controls are intuitive and effective, movement is smooth and unlike a few other games that have appeared recently, the characters move effortlessly from one place to another, without getting annoyingly caught up on furniture or architecture.
The clues and collectibles in the game are very effective, and the in-game menus work well to help the player assess how well or poorly the game is going. During the action sequences, the player needs to make split-second decisions and controller inputs, and in my opinion (speaking as an older but experienced gamer) these are perfectly balanced to appeal to players of most abilities.
The graphics are amazing, from the facial textures to the snowfall, lighting and shadows, this game really uses this latest generation of consoles to bring out detail and atmosphere. Music is very atmospheric and extremely well integrated well into the action.
Replay value is wholly focused on survival, not on a branching plot. This is not a bad thing: while the overarching plot remains fixed, the fate of each character is very much decided by your actions and choices: any character or all of them can die. Conversely, any or all can be saved, but saving everyone is very hard: I only saved two of the eight characters the first time around (Sam and Emily). I'm looking forward to restarting in the hope that I can somehow get at least a few more people through "until dawn".
The most innovative aspect of the game is what the developers call "The Butterfly Effect": a build-up of small, seemingly insignificant changes that may have devastating consequences down the line. This feature shows itself even in the first play through, as an in-game menu screen tells you which decisions you've made and gives subtle hints as to how you're doing. It's not just the illusion of choice - if you mess up too often, people's allegiances change and their options may narrow, making it harder for them to survive. Sometimes, a small mistake will be recoverable, but the mistakes do mount up, and sometimes the choices made leave no way out. At the game's end the sun rises, but who will be there to see it is up to you.
My only criticisms so far (all are very minor):
1: The camera sometimes doesn't feel as if it's showing enough of the scenes, and it can make movement tricky in darker areas, but then again, that may be a conscious decision because of the need for a survival horror game to be claustrophobic.
2: The scenes with the psychiatrist take the player out of the action to some extent, but on the other hand, they do offer the player a break in what might otherwise be a very tense game, at least until later on, when even these scenes acquire some tension.
3: There is some very minor image freezing that lasts a split second, usually when performing an action (I think I noticed three examples throughout the whole game).
4: The voices are occasionally slightly out of sync with the characters' mouth movements (again, I noticed this maybe three times).
5: The characters' heads seem kinda wobbly at some points (whenever it's a close-up and two or more characters are close to each other and talking). It's very subtle, but it is noticeable.
6. There is no way to adjust the screen size in the game - on my TV it's still playable, but some items on the screen edges are clipped.
7. I would have liked a little more humor to break the tension at some points - it's a very tense game (I think I mentioned that).
8. The pre-order DLC is just a small inconsequential scene tacked on to the end of chapter 2. It's almost like a deleted scene in a movie and it kinda messes with the pacing. I was kind of expecting a little more.
Altogether, I had a blast with this game, and I think a lot of other players will too, even if this type of game is not their usual fare. For me, this is not just one of the best survival horror games I've ever played, but if it were a movie, I'd say it would be the best horror movie since The Cabin in the Woods. Yeah, it's that good. I will be very surprised if this game doesn't gather a few of the most prestigious Game of the Year awards.
