Everything I expect from an Otterbox

I purchased this case for my wife's phone. I have previously purchased Otterbox cases for my tablet and phone. Like those cases, this one fits perfectly, provides excellent protection, and at the sale price was an excellent value. The only reason I don't give this case 5 stars is that because all of the similar cases I have purchased, the integrated screen protector is VERY glossy and can create some issues with glare, As this is only on certain lighting conditions it is not a deal breaker though. Also, it should be noted that the color is listed as wild orchid, but it is VER HOT, almost day-glow, pink. Fine for my wife who loves it, but maybe not for everyone.

While outwardly the new Chromecast looks like it just does what it predecessor does, it is just a bit better at it. I purchased this to put into my family room system so that I could move an older Chromecast to a shop TV. The new one is as easy to set up and get "casting" as the original and after playing with it for a few weeks I can say it is quite a bit faster to connect than the old one. Since it just does what it says it does I can't really knock it, and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I actually prefer the old "key" form rather than the new Dangling Disk. I had to do a bit of tucking so that it wasn't hanging strangely from my wall mounted TV, which has the HDMI ports fairly low.

Sleek, easy to assemble

I purchased this item not as a TV stand but as a component rack for my playback devices. I wanted something that would be sleek and match the look of the TV that is wall mounted just above and this stand works quite nicely. Assembly was very simple, the pieces lined up and all the fasteners tightened down nicely. The only reasons I didn't give this stand 5 stars is that the base has no mechanism for leveling if on an uneven floor (no adjustable feet, etc...), and the powder-coated metal parts came with a couple of scratches/damaged spots that appear to have come during manufacturing not shipping. Thankfully the damaged spots are not on the outer faces of the legs or I would have returned the item. All in all though this is exactly what I was looking for and the price seems reasonable for the materials used (tempered glass shelves and powder-coat metal frame).

Ok, but limited because of lighted clock face

I bought this to be my bedside alarm clock and phone charger. After trying it out for a bit I have found that it is not an ideal alarm clock solution. First the pros: bluetooth connectivity is easy and the sound is good, and it does work as an alarm clock with the music from my phone. Beyond that the USB port is a handy charging point for my phone and tablet as needed. Cons: the lighted clock is far too bright, even at the lowest "lighted" setting. There is a no-light setting, but that just makes the clock invisible in the dark. My wife has an iHome FM radio type clock radio on her side and it has a low setting that is enough to be seen at night without lighting the room up like a nightlight. To make matters worse, there is a small, but even brighter light in the front face to indicate when the clock is connected to a bluetooth device. Because of these flaws I cannot really use the clock as I had intended, it's just way too bright. I still have it bedside but I have found that I have to prop my phone against it and over the front to block the light...a less than ideal situation. I'm not sure if I will continue to use it, but I am for now.

I purchesed this keyboard to use with my ipad and iphone and have been extremely happy. I had been using another small portable keyboard for about 6 months and this one vastly superior. The keys are not as spongy and I haven't had a problem with "missed" keys that I know I hit but didn't register. I really like the fact that the keyboard has an integrated cover that doubles as a stand, particularly when used with my phone. This has allowed me to type lengthy emails/responses when away from my office computer without struggling with the very small touch keyboard on the phone in particular. The battery life has so far been excellent and it recharges quickly. Very happy with this item.

Nice Streaming Video Option

I purchased the Roku 2 to replace an older streaming media device. Since getting the Roku 2 I have been very impressed with the speed that it has not only within an app but when switching between apps, with very little load time. The biggest thing for me is the extensive array of available "channels" and services as well as the ability to add "private" channels not listed on the Roku website. This give a lot more options without having to shell out a bunch of money. I haven't used all of the devices capabilities, like the USB input, but everything I have used has been excellent. The reason I didn't give this device 5 stars is that I would prefer a way to turn the device off, without physically unplugging it. The device gets very warm even when it is not in use in what is basically a sleep mode and I don't really like the fact that it is burning electricity (even if it is a relatively small amount) the 20-22 or so hours a day it is just sitting and not doing anything.

I purchased this speaker wire to replace some older, very thin gauge wire for my surround sound speakers. Though the runs were not very long I was getting some distortion from the speakers and figured changing the wires could help, and it did. Though the outer sheathing of the wire is thick it is quite pliable and I was able to feed the wire through some very tight spaces without much trouble. In fact, the fact that the wire is pretty tough helped me push it through some places I might have had to "fish" a thinner, flimsier wire. Happy with the quality of construction and the sound I get now.

After living with this phone for over a month I will say it's the best phone I've ever had, but it's not quite perfect. First the good: the camera is excellent and takes very good pictures in all lighting and the LTE connectivity is very zippy. Apps run very quickly and customization of things is pretty nice. I particularly like the ability to add the keyboard I like. Now the not so great: compared to some phones the speaker is very weak and when used in speakerphone mode the audio clarity and volume is not that good, a problem when using it in the car. Like many others I had a lot of issues with wifi connectivity, but that seems to have been resolved with the most recent os updates. These issues might not be much in a lower priced phone, but when you spend a hefty premium your expectations are higher, and as a result drag down the overall rating for me.

I purchased this TV for my spare bedroom where it fits perfectly right beside my computer monitor. Even close up the screen is extremely crisp and the colors are quite vibrant. There are plenty of connections for both video and audio. The reason that this tv doesn't score higher for me is the sound is a bit thin...I know it's a small TV, but the 19" Insignia LED TV I have in the kitchen sounds better. On top of that, there is a constant, high-pitched whine from the speakers when the TV is on. If I was seated farther away I might not notice it, but as close as I sit it can be annoying.

Will this accept a cable card?
I know it says it is "digital ready" but I think I still have to have the mini digital box from my cable company.... unless it will accept a cable card.
I believe "digital ready" refers to the fact that it has a built-in digital tuner. It is a standard item on TVs nowadays. I have mine hooked up to an antenna and it pulls in local digital broadcasts. Until recently, a digital tuner equipped TV could also be connected to cable without having a cable box, but the cable companies now scramble their signals (around here at least) so you need a set top box or cable card to decode. There is no cable card slot on this TV.
